"Rather standard station in the Dulwich area"
Basic station. Have always found the Ticket Staff most helpful. The information boards and announcements are standard. Outside there is a Ticket machine where you can top up your Oyster card. Station is very busy during rush Hour. It is great for getting to London bridge. If you want to get to the West End or the City your better choice is Denmark Hill about five minutes by several choices of bus from outside the station. Denmark Hill gets you easily to Victoria, Kings Cross via Elephant and Blackfriars, Clapham Junction and points North East on the Overground.
I think the train station is minimal and boring ,hardly with customer service around. East Dulwich is closer to my work place as I can use the train from East Croydon to London Bridge and get off from the East Croydon station to my destination via any buses to King's college hospital .East Dulwich is okay except sometimes ,the trains can be delayed so I am deciding to use more bus services. The areas are clean and well maintained .Bus services are regularised and mostly prompt.
I recently had the unfortunate experience of visiting the train station. The entire experience was terrible. The station was dirty and chaotic, with no order to the lines or schedule. The staff were unhelpful and rude, and the ticket machines were impossible to use. The train itself was overcrowded and uncomfortable. To top it off, the train arrived late, making my journey even more unpleasant.
The women working in the ticket office at East Dulwich Station now was ignorant when I politely asked her for advice about my journey. Eventually had to knock on the window but still she refused to acknowledge me. Why? I'm polite person and treat others how I expect to be treated. Very upsetting and disappointing experience …
Rather standard station in the Dulwich area. Both platforms have step free access down to street level thanks to ramps, shelters are average, same for seating. Nothing really special about this station at all honestly. Local buses to the capital and the local community stop nearby.
It's a okay station when I use this station it's quiet and also the ticket office is shut. I've never seen any staff at this station before. Also no ticket barriers here. Has disabled access to both platforms.
Station ok bit tricky to get to some places without complicated changes.
Very convenient, and we'll kept
Step free acces is a plus .
