Purchased Holden Captiva 2013. Originally I was very happy with the vehicle and sales people. The process was easy. Ive downgraded my review as I ended up with a lemon, I have no evidence and no recourse as it's over 10 years old and just over 160,000km. But I believe the car had a cracked head at the time of purchase, I can't say they knew about it before the sale or not. Less than 4 weeks in its in limp mode and getting towed, waters disappearing and my mechanic couldn't find the problem. Oil was also black and dirty and the filter has been overtightened to the point mechanics are worried the housing will break. Note, oil was clean on purchase day. It's got a cracked head and blowing blue smoke Im looking at quotes around the $6k mark for a replacement engine and I'm now stuck with no money and no suitable vehicle to get my family around Christmas/new year's. We also missed out on our long weekend trip due to the initial breakdown. I sold a good car to remove a loan and purchased this with our savings. We have nothing left and it really sucks. IMPORTANT Cars over 10 years old or over 160,000km are not covered by warranty unless offered by the dealer. If your looking at getting one I'd recommend the extra warranty. Note: I didn't get it as I've had to take the same warranty company to consumer affairs in the past. One thing to remember is they require you to submit every service report after each service or they void the warranty.

We were looking for a ute for a second vehicle and we found this mitsubishi triton on car sale's by chance. And it just got posted in a small business in bayswater Called East Motors Ask for Stuart or indy We highly recommend this place all vehicle are well look after all come with rego and road worthy and when I was talking to Stuart on the phone and in person and he knows his stuff and when we bought the vehicle the same day we saw it he recommended another business called lock king in bayswater for a second key I differently highly recommend this business called East Motors they look after you even when you leave the site with the vehicle. They care about making you satisfied then disappoint you can't please everyone and some to most business are not great but EAST Motors is a good business to start looking for a car if they have what you are after.

sold us a car.. air con not workimg. battery died a week after buying the car... call the person there Steve or iggy or something and the most rudestman I have ever come across!!! you sold a car so provide customer service instead of telling me I do t k ow about cars!!!! Do not go to this dealer if u want to avoid dodgy sales!!!! Not worth your time!!! I will be taking them to court!!! don't you dare change things around. you said on the phone you hadn't checked the air con. my partner didn't turn the air con on. as for Steve calling me and being threateni g on the phone is not ok. We have just purchased a Holden colorado from Indy and Stuart at East motors both the guys where excellent, patient and honest to deal with, took it for a test drive noticed a couple small things a noise in the rear suspension (an easy fix) and also the timing belt is due to be replaced under its Holden service schedule, with no hesitation at all the guys called their mechanics to ensure its booked in for the morning and sorted prior to me collecting it tomorrow. If your looking for a top quality car and a honest no fuss experience do not go anywhere else go see Indy and Stuartat East motors. Thanks gents much appreciated Nick and Nicole

I recently purchased my first car through East Motors. From original contact with Stuart through to finalising the purchase, he has been friendly, flexible and easy to deal with. We travelled over two hours to inspect the cars we had in mind and appreciated his integrity in allowing us to test drive and have first choice over other potential buyers that had contacted him after us (in our experience this hasn't always been the case). Stuart was beyond patient in answering all of our questions and I wouldn't hesitate in recommending East Motors to any other potential buyers. It really was great customer service.

This is one of the nicest and cheapest (reasonable, you-can-bargain for) car places I have seen around Victoria East side. Can’t thank the guys at east motors enough! Indy and Stuart were helpful and patient and made the stress of buying a car so much less. The car itself is amazing, drives brilliantly and is in great condition. I know nothing about cars beyond key goes there and petrol goes here and have had dodgy dealers take advantage of that in the past but did not feel that way at all with this purchase. I bought this car remotely (never done that before) but it was honestly the most positive experience I’ve ever had and the car was even better than I expected it to be. I highly recommend buying from here.

Don't buy a car from here. The car looked good but the rear top part of seat wasnt attached to vehicle, the locking mechanism was missing. I'm not sure how it past a roadworthy. Sneaky guy, knew I had kids that wanted to put in the car. Can't lock tailgate, the cruise control broke in my hand the first time I drove the car. Also I was promised a full tank of diesel on pick up of car and he never gave that either. I rang to discuss issues with vehicle and he hand balled the problems on to the roadworthy mechanic.

Indi was easy to deal with over the phone and on site. We changed our mind after seeing another vehicle that we prefers, this was no issue for Indi even though he had held the other car for a few days . He even told us how used car trader buy cars, how it all works and the turnaround that comes with it. The roadworthy had to be done on the day, was competed quickly, allowing us to travel a long distance back home and get there at a decent hour. Found a great quality twin cab Holden Rodeo in this hard to find price range so was very pleased to snap up this bargain and drive it home. Went there to buy a Ute. Picked up a nice Nissan nav used by a company, was in good condition and had good service from Stuart, he wasn’t pushy, he was also easy to communicate with and was helpful when asked question about the vehicle. I would recommend this to any others if they are thinking about buying a car from this establishment.

Do not under any circumstances buy from this dealership!!! Stuart is an excellent talker & will knowingly sell you a lemon. Have had a car for 3months & have had 3 issues already, towed away & they refuse to give my money back but talked me into a 3year warranty to keep the vehicle. My big mistake. Be warned!!!

If I could select no stars I would. This dealership sold me a vehicle knowing that it had large mechanical issues. I spoke to an East Motors rep ‘Stuart’, who ended the phone call, very rudely after not wanting to rectify my vehicle issue / do his JOB. This has to be the worst dealership in Melbourne.
