Never coming back to this place again!!! Got cold shrimp that tasted fishy, only offered to refund $2! Manager refused to answer phone because he was"busy"?? Run a restaurant not a social life! Staff didn't know what to do, eat here if you want to risk food poisoning!! We asked if they could just remake our meals without the shrimp and her reply to that was I don't think I can, I don't have the authority to do certain things. REALLY? Anyhow after watching every customer wait way to long for their meals ( we waited about 1/2 an hour after we placed our order ) to get ours. Supposed to be fast food? This USED to be our favorite Edo but not anymore! The customer service sucked! After being told the manager was on his way but told she didn't know how long he would be? About 1/2 hr went by and still no manager, she refunded our bill!?!? Totally confused as to why this just wasn't done in the first place? Now they have customers and friends that won't return to this location and a bad review! Felt like they didn't really care about their customers! This restaurant was total chaos tonight, seemed like the employees were messing up everything!

Very bad customer service .. When I told the lady at the front just a moment because I’m still thinking what to order , she don’t even say anything or saying no worries or take your time instead. Then I ordered, when she gave my receipt she didn’t even say thank you ! What kind of customer service this branch in Harvest Pointe , they don’t know how to do a good customer service . No smile , no greetings from the lady at the counter .. At least the guy at the back he greets the customer , I think the guy at the back is better at the front then the lady deserve to be at the back because she is giving a customer a bad customer service .. And one thing I order brown sugar pearl milk tea , she is asking what pearl milk tea . Hello! Whatever they call it , as long as there is a brown sugar from what I mention so it’s clear that my order is brown sugar because there is only 1 kind of brown sugar from the list .. And also the brown sugar bubble tea, I don’t taste the brown sugar it taste only like milk with tapioca and a tiny brown sugar ( I think they just put tue brown sugar just for decoration )

Today I received the worse embarrassment of my life at this Edo Japan location. I will never eat from another Edo Japan again. I went to this Edo Japan location to eat lunch. The East Indian looking waitress/cashier was rude as she asked me what I wanted to eat and drink. I politely responded, thinking she might just be having a bad day. After my purchase, she didn't bother giving me my receipt in my hand, she just tossed on the counter and walked away. So rude. I swallowed my pride and sat down to wait for my lunch. The same waitress/cashier kept serving other white customers that came after me. I sat there filled with shame as customer after customer were served and eating their meals, but I was ignored even though I paid for my food. This level of racism is despicable. So a black man is not welcomed at this Edo Japan location? What a SHAME!!!! After more than 30 to 40 minutes of waiting and seeing new customers receive their meals, I walked away without eating. The embarrassment was too much. I let her keep my paid lunch. I have attached my receipt.

Picked up Take Out and Food Tasted Sour . Beef and Rice ? How hard can it be ??? UPDATE AFTER 4 MONTHS .... SORRY , you dropped a star and the experiance was terrible We,decided to try one more time , only 1 worker , hygiene very questionable . You shouldn't be cooking and touching money etc without washing up= Food Safe . Ordered Sushi , it was old and dried out. We specifically asked if they made fresh , worker Said yes however received old , dried out , about 1/3 of traditional Sushi from any other restaurant. Small portions and Full Charge on pricing . The chicken bowl had beef in it , portion was very small , portion was not fresh , rice super dried out , we could not eat it as it was old .Even the bowl was nasty. When you walk in the seating area was not clean .There were dirty tables , trays not cleaned , tray stacking area dirty with dishes and food items from the day. The resurant did not smell of fresh cooking . We won't go back even though all the women in our family love other Edo resurants . FAIR Pricing , Fresh Tastefull Food with Value and Clean = Happy Customers

Not only did they try to give me the wrong order when I am deathly allergic to mushrooms, but the manager was yelling at her staff in the back where all the customers in the restaurant could hear and my food sat under the heat lamp so I walked up to the counter. She didn't stop getting mad until the chef told her I was standing there. A lady also came in after me and left before me with her food. Poor practice. Extremely poor customer service and that poor girl was doing great, everyone starts somewhere. I would not work for someone who treated me this way. Also I dont think I saw a single smile from any of them, probably because they work for someone who is miserable

It is one of my favorite restaurants, especially your staff dealing with us, they are really professional and extremely polite. Unfortunately, during my visit to the restaurant located at (5023 Ellerslie Rd SW) with my fiancée, one of the restaurant employees (the cook), a young man with dark skin and a long beard, was looking at my fiancée in a very provocative way. When I looked at him, he started talking to the cook next to him and repeatedly looking and laughing at my fiancée which forced me to leave the restaurant and I would not return to this branch again. I appreciate all your efforts, but you were not successful in choosing this person, who gives a very bad impression of the restaurant

The price for what you get isn't bad at all, the sushi was decent. There wasn't quite enough rice, or extra sauce in it that I asked for. I got two pieces of broccoli in the mix but not much carrots. Ordered online, was made in time. However I ordered the sumo size and expected a bit more than what we got. It wasn't terrible but the meat was super chewy and not great quality. I think I'll stick to making this stuff at home for much cheaper. It does not hit the same as it did years ago.

This location deserves zero stars. I ordered veggies rolls and checked before I left and realized they had no cream cheese. I went and told the staff and was told "we are getting a menu. We don't have any cream cheese." No actual apology as to them never telling me and ripping me off. First of all getting a new menu makes no sense. Secondly, perhaps tell the customer before they purchase. Had to ask for a refund because I have no interest in eating that garbage. Multiple times they have been "out" of spicy mayo. Or likely just too lazy to make more. Will NEVER return here. Awful service.

We typically love Edo Japan as a date night. First time we’ve used this location and it was a let down. We found hairs in the rice for the sushi roll. We for the Thursday Sushi-licous but was given 8 incredibly small pieces of the Alaskan roll. There was no soy sauce and when we asked for some the cashier gave an eye roll before leaving to grab some. The Yakisoba noodles were under cooked and bunched together at the bottom and the sauce tasted watered down. We will continue being Edo Japan customers but not at this location

No problems with the food, but the service was terrible. I am very reasonable, and don’t expect the service to be like McDonald’s and done in 2 min. I do however, believe my food should be done in a reasonable time frame. If it’s not going to be, then it should be stated to me when ordering. I waited 34 min for ONE meal. I understand that they were busy with orders, however that should be stated when ordering if it’s going to be that long. I received no apology for the wait; and am pretty disappointed in the amount of time it took.

The staff was great at customer service the order was delivered on time and music and cleanliness added a 5 star experiece to the dining

This is the second time this restaurant has been incompetent to fulfill an order correctly, first time my food was cold, this time bag was full of soy sauce, littlest portions, soaking wet in the sauce. Salmon was waaaayy waaaayy over cooked. It's either no Sauce, or over sauced. Nothing can be followed from simple instructions, SIMPLE! Highly dissatisfied. Will not be returning to this location.

Ordered the Easi platter on Uber eats: the tempura roll was soggy, greasy, and the rice was hard. The beef rolls were incredibly bland, and almost seemed like they were burned? There were some odd bits in there I hadn't seen before. The only edible part of the meal was the avocado, cucumber, and California rolls. Disappointed.

California sushi roll's quality is wonky. I just had a horrible California roll from them. Most of the rice fell off when I pick it up (means the rice is old, you put outside too long and lost it's stickiness), inside of the rice grain is hard (double confirm it's old sushi). Seriously...

Ordered at 7:30 on a Wednesday. Our food was nasty. Chicken and the beef were both prepped incorrectly- in huge pieces- broccoli was old, the sauce was watered down. And the mushroom I had to pay extra for were raw. And the portion sizes were small. Completely not worth the $35 we paid. Staff was also arrogant and I will never return.

I have been to Edo the first time the environment was pleasant and food was very delicious

Worst sushi in the world honestly. Never go to edos. If you want real sushi go LITERALLY anywheres else. Their sushi is pre-made garbage stored in a fridge. Not just this edo either every single one I've been too. Even the one in bc. How can people eat this stuff I have no clue.

I bought sushi, Oceani and Veggi Platter, they put too many vinegar on that, the avocado was gray color, it was bad set. I definitely don’t recommend and I also hope they read all reviews and try to improve all stuff.

Portion size is way too small for the price, a TON of rice to substitute for actual protein and veggies. Still very hungry after eating here. Good for a snack, but not an actual dinner time meal. Unless you want to fill up on rice.
