"Elkington Park is a nice park for families"
"Beautiful park with gorgeous old trees, well-placed benches under their shade & spectacular views"
Pavilion was large with seating around the sides. Plenty of room for a party in rainy weather. Park is dog friendly, but THERE IS NO FENCING. Bathrooms were basic but clean. Basic playground with swing and climbing equipment. Great view of the water.
Scenic vista at a relatively quiet location. A lovely seat underneath a large tree close to the river. Good place to picnic even. No view of the city, just North Sydney/St Leonard's and Chatswood. They both still have tall buildings though...
I love coming here, there's a lot of cute doggies to pat and occasionally a cute kitty will come and let you pat it, the cats around this area are very very nice and let me pat them. There's this one really fluffy cat with a weird flat face
Elkington Park is a nice park for families. Albeit it is in a odd location a bit away from Rozelle shops, and the rockface at the park is arguably dangerous given it is a children's park, it has enough shade and adequate facilities to be a
Beautiful park with gorgeous old trees, well-placed benches under their shade & spectacular views. The Dawn Fraser swimming pool is in this park & it is also an historical (renovated in 2021) Sydney gem. Well worth a wander.
Beautiful park area with some stunning views to the lessor known side of the peninsula. Well maintained gardens, historical gazebo, well serviced and clean bathrooms with lots of room to play for our four-legged child.
Windy, but a place to finish off and publish my thoughts I have come to from my worldy travels. When you travel geographically you will unconsciously always travel internally.
One of the best parks to unwind yourself after a busy day. As it's on a little cliff so the soothing Parramatta river is right at the edge. Beautiful spot!
Lovely park with nice views all around. Only few people were there with kids or dogs on Sunday afternoon so it’s a good spot to relax. Not too busy.
Really nice park with lots of shades and water views to unwind. It’s also a great place to take your dog with loads of off leash area.
Lovely park to walk the dog play with your kids on the swings. Nice water views and right next door to Dawn Fraser pool …
A pretty little park on the harbour foreshore. Beautiful city and water views. Peaceful and relaxing.
A pretty little park with serene views. A nice place to chill out and watch the boats on the river.
Historic Park and bath in Sydney. Great location for a barby, and a lovely stroll in the afternoon.
Great place for a shady picnic with fantastic views and the Dawn Fraser pool to cool off in.
Hidden gem. Stunning views of the harbour, park for the kids, loos for all
Great park. particularly for people who have dogs that they like to walk
