I always come here to study as its a great spot to study. Every time I come in the staff ever great me. I was looking at the menu today and the staff menu was just staring at me. I felt uncomfortable to order because of how rude the staff member was. It is always the girl who wears a baseball cap and is short. After I ordered my drink I was waiting for it & the girl who was making my drink was preparing someone elses drink. She called out her drink order and gave it. For mine she just pushed it towards me and it was really disrespectful. I spend so much money here as I come here often and Im not sure why the staff members are so rude. As well as my friend ordered a drink and she did the same thing and her drink spilled. The girl in the white bucket hat who made the drink didnt even offer to clean it up. I felt bad for my friend as I wanted her to have a good experience. The staff members need to learn how to be respectful.

I REALLY wanted to like this local coffee shop. Bad sign for a food place- They do not maintain their property- a mountain of slippery snow and ice to get to the doorway - they have not shovelled a pathway from the street. They thew some grit down on the ice once you get closer the doorway. (No excuse-other merchants have their walkways cleared) Inside floor was was very dirty - and what seems like dirty mop smears. Behind the counter didn't look too clean either. Bathrooms dirty, Dyson air dryer not functional. Young friendly staff, good coffee that is a bit smaller in oz than the big chains. Only two options for drip - medium and brazil. ODD-They have tip jars for other businesses (BDI vs...) I might give them another chance and look for big improvements on the cleanliness because I really want to like this place because it's good-not because it's the only show in town.

The atmosphere is inviting, but the staff need better training. I have been there twice and both times my espresso beverage has not been hot enough. The second time I went I even asked for her to steam the milk a little longer, but the drink was still not hot enough. They need to use thermometers and steam the milk to 140C. Barista did not stir in the syrup, so my drink was more like a latte with a chocolate syrup chaser, lol. The barista asked if I wanted whipped cream, which the cashier also asked me. Communication... The outside garbage is located in an odd spot, which I missed until way passed it, so I had to carry my empty cup up to the Sage Creek School (no biggie, it's just inconvenient and invites trash in the neighbourhood). The first time I went though, the gentleman was very inviting and though my latte was "meh", he made the visit memorable.

Have gone here a few times. Usually had a pretty good experience. The coffee is great, but the service is mediocre at best. Today we came in to get 2 iced coffees. The staff member who made it filled it right to the rim. When we picked up our drinks, they immediately spilled on us. One cup had a hole and was leaking from the bottom. It caused a huge mess and my partner spilled coffee all over his shirt. The staff were busy talking and saw what happened. They didn't offer to help. We had to grab a bunch of napkins. After we finished wiping up the spilled coffee, one of the staff came with a cloth to wipe up the rest. My partner had to ask them to remake his coffee as they didn't even offer. We were stunned by the lack of customer service and we left upset..

Great atmosphere, but the staff aren't always very attentive to customers. The espresso set up is amazing, but the baristas are constantly using dirty cups for pulling espresso. They don't even seem to rinse them between shots. Plus, they don't seem to really care about the quality of shots. 4/6 times I've order espresso drinks they pulled 20 second shots that ran way too quickly (as if they hadn't dialed in the espresso). Then they just serve the super sour espresso to me. Either lack of training, or lack of caring. The baking they have is good, but I'd stick to the drip coffee.

Cute little cafe. The prices were a bit high in my opinion. Very open concept for seating, not much privacy from other tables. The bar at the front counter gets a little loud. At least when I was there they were either having a loud staff meeting or friends of the employees were hanging out and goofing off. Not sure if that is always the atmosphere but it was when I visited. It was also difficult to find parking, so keep that in mind if you don’t live in the neighborhood. They were all sold out of snacks, not sure if that is normal. I would have gotten a treat if they had something available. I visited on a Thursday at 7pm. Room for improvement. Probably won’t go back again, it was out of the way for me and not very memorable.

Plugs at every table - good for siding or working. In the summer they have a large fenced in dog-friendly patio. Modern cafe music that's catchy but not too loud or distracting. I frequent here when I want specialty drinks. They have some pastries, wraps, salads, and gluten free treats. Mostly a millennial crowd.

For years everyone in Sage Creek wanted a Starbucks. Well we don't need them we have an amped up version in the Empty Cup. You can get your coffee fix and your fancy coffee creations here PLUS you can order beer on tap and awesome pizza from TransCanada Brewery! They have a beer and wine license. They have other food options like sandwiches and bowls and pastries. They have extended long hours to hang out in. Generous indoor space that's got a good vibe and a cool outdoor patio too that wasn't an afterthought. Counter space and comfortable seating with lots of windows. Limited free parking in front. No drive through though. A very welcomed addition to Sage Creek community

I was hoping the reviews regarding customer service were over exaggerated however I experienced the same issues as most of these reviews have highlighted. Very stale and lifeless customer service. There was an exchange of two words at most. Not putting a lid on a scalding hot Coffee filled to the brim and expecting you to carry it over and then put a lid on yourself is in my opinion, dangerous for a business to be doing. The cup was crazy hot and they had no sleeves out to use. Had to wrap my cup in napkins to not burn my hand while walking home On top of that their pumpkin spice latte was incredibly mediocre and not worth going back for.

Coffee is always pretty good but the service is horrible. The baristas are mostly kind but they’re clearly there to socialize. Last time I went in the barista was holding the shot for my drink for a good 45 seconds while finishing her story before pouring it in the drink. This time around the barista was EATING while taking my order. To make matters worse she did not wash her hands before making my drink. That’s disgusting. These baristas have no sense of urgency or health and safety knowledge. Educate your staff and hold them accountable, it’s not that hard.

Popped into this Empty Cup on a walk. Iced mocha was good, but the veggie sandwich was the worst sandwich I have had in a very, very long time. I even tried sprinkling the bread with water, wrapping the sandwich up and lightly warming it in an oven and I still couldn’t choke down half of it. I guess I could use the bread and patty to wipe down the walls and counters after I scrub them, that is how dry it was. Dozens of choices to grab lunch in the area, I would pass this one by!

This was our first time to the Empty Cup, and our cups ended up being quite full. I enjoyed the Raspberry Hibiscus Iced Tea, and my husband had the Drip Drip which he said was good. We also added a couple of croissants from the Crusty Bun that were nice and fresh too. We sat outside on the patio which had some shade on a very hot morning, and is protected from the wind. Inside the cafe is very clean and modern, and the outside was very clean as well but could use some sprucing up with some flowers, and vegetation so it is more inviting, and doesn't feel like you are sitting on a concrete sidewalk.

Nice and clean looking shop. Lots of seats , and good location. Quality of Coffee was also good Downside, not much options for food when I went- was hoping for a nice selection of pastries. Cream/sugar station not stocked up even though it was not busy. Staff seemed friendly, but texting on their phone and forgot my coffee order, had to remind them. Also, no bottled water… which is not a biggie, but you would think it would be an available option. Not sure I would go back unless someone else invited me there.

The Latte is a bit hit or miss but generally good. Lots of seating! Staff are loud and act immature for a workplace. The moment I walked through the door with my 15lb dog in my arm, they told me to leave. Didn’t say a word myself, just left. Mc Donald’s will serve to people with support animals, but if you’re looking for a really great cup of coffee try Charito, 100m down the street. They have amazing breads there too. Don’t support businesses that discriminate.

Empty Cup makes the absolute best London Fogs in the city, I have never been disappointed. To top it off, the staff are friendly and the atmosphere is really relaxing.

Empty Cup is my favourite place to frequent for studying and getting coffee. The employees are always super kind, pleasant and engaging in conversation. The place always looks so beautiful and clean with a great ambience. Gina especially always makes my day with our convos. An amazing place!!

Really nice modern café, the food price is okay. Food quality is great (healthy original menu). May be because of location being new but I've there twice now but it felt a bit small or overcrowded, hopefully once it's more settled, it'd quieter and a bit less busy. The coffee is really good.

Great people selling top quality coffee products, with a side of delicious local pastries and eats. Does it get any better? Ok,, maybe a dark roast option is missing, but I don’t seem to miss it when I’m there.

We could not have picked better neighbours! Each visit to the space, our team is greeted with a smile and frequently a memorized order. This is a perfect spot for a grab and go or a stay and play. They are well staffed to handle busy weekend and evening traffic. Would highly recommend!

Need a 6th star. Great coffee, awesome cinnamin buns and pastry from la belle baguette, friendly staff, very nice patio on a relatively quite street. What more can I say? Someday will do a coffee and follow up with a TCB beer, or the other way around.

Only one kind of decaf tea, or decaf Americano. Need more decaf options for the late night goers that don't consume alcohol. As the business grows they should implement some lounge chairs for reading. Nicely decorated little spot.
