Our visit to this location was "HORRIBLE"!! I flew into town, made reservations for the rental at Midway Airport, take shuttle bus to car rental to ONLY get there & be told that NO vehicles are available at this location (mind you we already made reservations) but we have another location on 48th & Pulaski. We then take a cab from Midway Airport to 48th & Pulaski, my husband gives the "RUDE GUY" our reservation number, we go to pay for the vehicle to "ONLY" be told that our credit card "CAN NOT" be accepted due to our credit card "NOT" having a CHIP on it!! Our credit card that does have a CHIP did not have enough funds to cover the rental but our credit card that does have funds available to cover rental we CAN NOT use it!! They would NOT swipe our card!! We then tried to set up the credit card on apple pay but then the "RUDE BLACK GUY" adds on another BOMB SHELL & tells us that because we have an out of state driver's license we also need another form of identification a utility bill, cellphone bill that has to have a local (in state) address with our name attached to it!! Now if we just flew in from another state (we're visiting here) WHY would we have local mail for here!! OUR EXPERIENCE WITH THIS LOCATION WAS BEYOND AN HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE, I DON'T EVEN HAVE WORDS FOR IT!! THE GUY THAT SITS AT THE FRONT DESK WHEN YOU WALK IN WAS RUDE, NO COMPASSION, NO EMPATHY, & HE WAS NONCHALANT!! HE POINTED IN A DIRECTION TELLING US WE COULD WALK TO HERTZ AND WHEN WE GOOGLED IT THE HERTZ WAS OVER A MILE AWAY!! The "CUSTOMER SERVICE" here was "UNACCEPTABLE"!!

I rented from this facility March 16th 2019. I was having issues with my vehicle and needed a rentap ASAP! While the staff were pleasant, the 2018 Chevy Malibu was not. It smelled like smoke and when mentioned to the customer services rep, he said, " well, we tell people they cant smokw but they always break the rules as you know" *i disclosed I am a police officer earlier*. The car was also filthy as it had not been vacuumed or wiped down at all. It was so close to pick my kid up from school *across town in Hyde Park* that I had to bypass asking for another vehicle. To make matters worse, the ride was horrible. When driven, it felt as though the vehicle was being pulled to the right. Later I discovered that the right, passenger side tire was a different size than the other tires and also had a big lump. I called the next day asking for a replacement. I was told that if a replacement was available, I would receive a call. That never happened. I had to keep the car longer than expected as my only option to get around with little time to return the vehicle working as a chicago police officer on midnight shifts. The final day I had the vehicle, I complained once again about my experience and spoke to a rep that applied *x, y, z discounts* and in the end, nothing. I was disappointed to say the least because I've dealt with Enterprise before and know they have great customer service.

Avoid this place! Reserved a compact and was contacted by them 24 hour prior to my arrival to confirm the reservation. Upon arriving to this location the next day, zero cars were on the lot. Long story short I picked up a sub-compact car from a body shop on south Western Avenue an hour later. Upon driving the car I noticed a tire pressure warning light on so I went to the Enterprise on Western Ave. to have them put air in the tires. Wasted another 30 minutes before I was able to get on the road. Why in the world would a vehicle not be set aside for me when they had a verbal confirmation from me 24 hours earlier? Once I post this review someone from Enterprise will write a comment to my review requesting information on my rental so they can research it. I completed a survey the day after I returned the car and almost three months later I have yet to be contacted - even after supposed multiple escalations to management. At this location they play a shell game with the available cars - some customers are winners and some are losers. On this rental and my previous rental from this location I was a loser. There is an old saying - fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. I'm done.

The process of picking up the vehicle, providing the indicated information was smooth. Andres assisted, provided the information we asked and went over the details of contract and review of the car. When I drove off their lot, I noticed that the vehicle could have been cleaned a lot better than what I received. The interior windshield was so opaque, visual was hard at night with the reflection of other car lights. The driver windshield wiper was half broken, would only clean half of the driver side window, which I did not notice up to the third day when we had rain. Sensors on the vehicle popped up 2 days into my rental. I called the rental office I picked up the vehicle from, to be told I can either swap it out at any enterprise or take it to Pep Boys or Firestone to get the vehicle fixed. Which is inconvenient to a customer who is renting from you because of their own vehicle not being available. The two associates that were helpful and friendly, were Andres and Jennifer. The only reason why I didn’t give this location a one star. Customer service in office should be better served to their customers.

Let me start off by saying, I've rented several cars before so I know what to expect. As usual, prices were much better than the airport. If you're willing to take a short walk, get on the orange line to Pulaski. The customer service was outstanding. Our original car had a horrible smoke smell. They offered to replace it, we waited about an hour and got a second. The second car still stunk, but it was considerably better. On our first outing we noticed the oil was dripping, our car had no oil, thank God we made it safely to our destination. It appeared someone didn't screw on the oil bolt on correctly, I'm not sure. After some back and forth and some time, we got a third car delivered to us. They did give us an upgrade, which was not needed but it was a nice consideration for our troubles. Again, the car smelled of smoke. This may not be a problem for most, but with young kids, it's a big problem for us. Overall the location had great employees which made our issues more tolerable.

Upon arrival i noticed there was only two reps trying to help everyone so the frustration was growing and so was the heat, due to covid-19 all business is conducted outside in the lot. They didnt have the car i requested, and the one i was given was dirty, had no windshield wiper fluid and was almost on Empty. The after a week i returned to extend my time and the rep was so rude, when i asked questions about my bill, the rep in a demeaning matter replied " dont you know what you signed, I asked fir his name he said izzy, he then went back into the office to ask questions and came back out and started helping another waiting customer. I interrupted and stated that i was there first and hes helping others while holding my receipt in his hand. He came over with and attitude and couldn't explain my bill charges, he kept saying "you signed it, didn't you read it" after that i left. This location on Pulaski in Chicago is terrible and i will not use them again.

This Enterprise is the worst location ever. I already had a reservation made from the company I work for and hey decided to give my rental away. I was never told that I had to show up at the appointment time because I never have for any other Enterprise. I’ve been told my car would be ready for pick AFTER so and so time. So they decided to give my rental to someone else and have me go to another location to pick another vehicle. I have already spoke with the company I work for and have requested no rentals from this location. The girl who “helps” you when you enter the facility is vey rude as well. And then while I was on the phone trying to reach my travel coordinator, this employee starts complains about a personal issue she’s having starts saying bad words and slamming her phone. Idk what the hell is wrong with the people here but I’m definitely never returning here again.

Horrible experience at this Enterprise location. We were vacationing in Chicago and had booked a sedan for a day to Wisconsin. They denied giving us a car with the reason that "we did not have a valid license and needed an international permit to drive". (Note: We have been using this license for more than 2 years in US now) However, as per Enterprise rules, you need a permit only if your home country license has a problem. Very non cooperative manager, denied to listen to anything we had to say. Finally called up customer care and they shifted our reservations to the Midway airport enterprise, where all our problems were solved. The Midway airport enterprise took the same license and issued us a car without any questions. Beware before you visit this place for a rental. Advice to the management - Please adhere to the Enterprise rules, and not make up your own!

I rented from this location a while ago. they're running a hustle as a means to sell insurance. They insult your intelligence by claiming you damaged the car and had you not gotten their insurance you'd be in trouble. At first I was going to use my credit card collision insurance that they offered, but chose their insurance last minute. When I brought it back, the man pointed to a bend in the car's hood that was apart of the car's design and claimed I damaged the car and it's a good thing I bought their insurance. an attempt to scare me into never using another insurance but theirs otherwise they'll lie and say I damaged the car. unscrupulous sales tactics. that was my first and last time renting from enterprise.

I turn my car in th the body shop, I'm paying expensive insurance to do my life easier. Including rental car in case of repairs or maintenance. I set up appointment at the body shop. Once I turned in my car the rental car was expecting for me out there, they picked me up, drive me to their store I picked up a car similar " or better than my one" and drive a way. Same at the end of the job, I picked up my car last minute Tuesday from the body shop, they picked up their car next day morning. I'm driving a CR-V 2013 and I got a Chewy Equinox 2022. Thank you Enterprise Rental Car, from Pulaski and 48th. Friendly young people .

I'm never one to willingly have to deal with a car rental place, but I'm sure glad I was taken care of in this location. I had my car totaled, so my insurance was covering a rental car for a few days. Frank was very courteous and made the whole checking in process a breeze. He did a good inspection on the car and handed me the keys to a very well-equipped Chevy Impala. The car smelled pretty nice, which is the first thing a customer will notice. Overall, I loved the experience, I loved the drive, and I would definitely call in and ask for Frank because he was an awesome guy. Took less than 10 minutes to check in and out.

Sure, it's a busy office. But, that's a good thing. It means they have cars to rent. A lot of cars. A lot of different models. When we were there, they did everthing right. That's not to say there weren't hiccups, there were. But, they operated like a fine tuned machine. With the staff almost reading each other's minds. They met all the challenges the morning we were there with calmness and doing what it takes, making it work. Truly, bending over backwards to appease everyone. Seems like they have a good team, and team leader. Reservations are essential. But, because of the volume, many wait around for drop‐offs.

I had a great experience with this location. Tierra Jones and Stacey Guy provide top - notch customer service! Tierra picked me up at the airport, calling to let me know she was slightly delayed in traffic. She was very personable, got me into the right car that would fit my needs and offered to return me to my hotel the next week. I got caught in traffic on my way back and Stacey and Tierra assured me they would be there when I arrived, and they were. I will use this location the next time I fly into Midway. I have used the airport group and my experience with this location far exceeds the airport hassle.

Definitely 5 stars for this location !! The staff is so kind, knowledgeable and courteous! Stephanie Parker went above and beyond for me when it came to renting a vehicle due to an accident I was in. There wasn’t a question she couldn’t answer and her professionalism is top tier. Same with Mitanni Ransom I had a few questions for her when I was returning my vehicle and she also knew everything. Her professionalism is top tier as well. I’d like to thank them both for making my experience a smooth and easy process from beginning to end. If I have to rent again I’m definitely seeking them out. Thanks again !

My name is Walter Metcalf and I have received one of the BEST car rental experience possibly in my entire life. A young lady by the name of Miyanni Ransom helped me obtain a vehicle and was beyond professional! She explained all of my options to me and made sure the vehicle was clean and sanitized! I was also in and out without a long wait! When I returned the vehicle the process was beyond easy! I will recommend this particular location to others if they desire to rent a vehicle simply because of the service Miyanni Ransom gave to me. I wish I had her running my company!!!!!

I had the worst experience in this location, I reserved a mini van for me and my family for today! And at the last minute I left without the van because apparently their system did not process my payment when on my accounts was pending the money and they didn’t do anything to solve the problem , the guy who was helping me asked to try another card ! And I did try another card and the same problem happened but yeah they took my money form my two debits cards ! And still they didn’t give the card I reserved! I left really upset! Zero recommendations this location

Horrible place off business. The latino male manager totally unprofessional and looks down on his own race! He feels like his job title it's so much more important and he is higher then a middle-class latino male who is hard working just as he is. Not everyone and his establishment was as rude or thought they were better than me just this Latino male manager! Honestly I am used to being racially profiled by other races but to be racially profiled by my own race I felt that slap in the face! Enterprise you should be embarrassed to have him as a employee.

Adriana is the best ever if you want a rental car this is the place that you need to be 48th and Pulaski they work with any and everybody they are the most helpful people that you can ever meet I've been coming here for the last 2 years and spent a lot of money with them but the thing is The Price is Right this the place that you need to be right here at Enterprise on when you walk in you going to walk out satisfied I guarantee you they got nothing but the best and they're going to treat you like you their family.

Great customer Service. Adriana was very courteous, helpful and informative. Gloria and Antoine responded timely and provided valuable assistance. Highly recommend this Rental facility!! Just dropped off my most recent rental and, again, I have to complement Adriana Cerrato who, as before, was most courteous, knowledgeable and helpful. She recommended a type of vehicle that was a perfect fit for us and made the trip enjoyable. If I could give her more than 5 stars, I would! Highly recommended and commendable!

If I can give zero stars I would. This enterprise gave us the most difficult time, was complete run-around, and very unprofessional. Not only was there so much miscommunication we had called three weeks in advance only to come to the reservation on time only to wait a hour and a half to be told so much unnecessary information that could have been mentioned beforehand. Wasted so much time and I was in need of a car for work. Moral of the story I ended up going to hertz, got a rental no problem.

They don't know what their doing, only went there because that's where the insurance company covered my rental while my cars in the shop wait a hour for a car, because had to go fot emision test, but did the porter have to stop and get coffee sure did, for him and a friend, theb wait another 30 min waiting on corp to email registration. I literally had to ask them to call someone, or they would have sat there and waited all day do better or higher better people

This location on Pulaski is rude!!! The manager called me to verify that I was on my way and still gave the vehicle that I had reserved to someone else. I was told that I had to reserve for a week once I arrived to the location. This woman chose to argue with me instead of apologizing. Now I have to wait extra time for another vehicle and I have to be in another stain in less than 48 hours. She totally inconvenienced me. I was early and everything.

Made a reservation here a week ago when i was planning my trip. Refused to fulfill my reservation on arrival because they didn't like that I had an out-of-state license and that my credit card could be used as a debit card. Made no mention of these problems when i booked with them. Told me to go back to the airport and book with someone else. Will not do business again in the future, and will encourage everyone I know to avoid them as well.

Great experience from start to finish. Website was easily navigated and I received a much appreciated phone confirmation to confirm pick-up time. The staff is polite, competent, thorough and friendly, at both pick up and drop off. Rates are great, compared to other locations in the neighborhood, and the car (Dodge minivan) was brand, spanking new with all the gadgets. I highly recommend; look no further for your next family road trip.

The staff were great, the car was dirty inside and out. Customer service is not just the the personal interaction but also the product or service being offered. There was also a low washer light on that i notified them about, and the young lady quickly put some in. Going forward a quality control person should inspect all return vehicles and get tjem ready for the next customer. You only get one chance to make a good impression.

I had an excellent experience renting a minivan. We rented last minute after having a terrible experience at another enterprise and Bobby was extremely helpful and accommodating. He had us checked in and out fast and we had an amazing time on our trip! Any time I need to rent again it will be from this location. Bobby made the entire experience easy and hassle free. Worst customer service ever! They don’t acknowledge you they all depend on one girl to do everything. After waiting for 15 minutes the girl who was clearly busy had to tell them I told you to help her. After being set up through my insurance to get a rental this was the worst place ever I left without renting anything. Don’t waste your time clearly they don’t want to work.

Be prepared to wait. Friendly staff, but slow service. They need more people working the front desk. It took about 30 minutes to pick up and drop off. I think 15-20 minutes is a fair wait time. I think if they had one more person on the shifts, then they would be much better off. Interesting to see the two front desk people doing everything to include cleaning the cars.

Everyone working at this location, and especially Jared and Rob, have Outstanding customer support skills and we’re most professional. They went above and beyond for making my experience as easy as possible renting a beautiful truck from here. It was my first time renting a car at the Pulaski and 48th st. location and America Sanchez ( I believe thats her lastname) was so nice and helpful, muchas gracias! It was very quick. When we brought the car back Stephanie took care of it and she was also very nice. Everything went nice and smooth.

From beginning to the end customer service was great. My second time using enterprise but different location and so far both good experiences. Very polite and helpful throughout my rental time. If not for the long wait period to get my reservation it would have been 5 stars but can't really complain if others don't bring back there rentals in time. Over nice job

Unbelievable customer service! Hands down the best! Can't really say much more! They quickly accommodated my rental and pick up/drop off needs without question or delay. Kim and Hector were above reproach and the driver (regrettably don't remember his name) was in that league with them. Forget any other rental company, you'll never need them!

Over charged me a whole extra day rep told me I would be reimbursed never got my $89 back because their lines are down and still down 2 months later bad location to rent from. Car wasn't ready at noon pick up was told they would call in a couple hours when ready but never got the call just went to the place around 5pm and got another car

I've been a customer for about 10 years now. Their service is impecable. I get picked up and dropped off along with nice vehicle rentals at great rates that are well below the competition. Many times I will be automatically upgraded to a better vehicle before I even pick it up. Customer service is always very friendly and helpful.

I'm giving them only 2 stars because on the returning when checking in the car they tried to say I scratched the hood of the car and put some dents on the door and I put that on my deceased mother that nothing touched there car. I don't like being blamed for something I didn't do. But other than that the car drove very good.

This location provided professional and efficient service for my rental car. They confirmed with me the details before I arrived to my destination, and had my rental ready when I arrived to the office. If you are flying in/out of Midway, this location is not able to do pickup/dropoff services, so keep that in mind.

Rented a Jeep Compass from there that had cockroaches of all sizes in the car. The roaches got in my girlfriends luggage and all over her clothes. Now they're in my house and I'm finding more of them every day. I informed this to them and when I came back later the same Jeep was gone. Not a fan of their cleaning.

I made a reservation a day prior and they called to say there were no cars but they would call me later. I spent the entire day calling around to see if I could get a car from another location. This location NEVER called me back. I am a frequent Avis customer and will continue to use them after this debacle.

Don't deal with these inconsiderate people. They accept reservations at the exact same time they close. So if you arrive at your scheduled time, they will refuse you service and leave you outside. This was my first enterprise experience and they have not came close to the customer service they promote.

Rented a car from them .. had to call car road side assistance because they gave me a car with a bad battery .. had to miss work for this inconvinience and they still have me running around trying to get me a car .. dont recommend this company at all.

Unfortunately, due to an accident I had to rent a car for a few weeks. While that whole situation stunk, I was pleasantly surprised by my rental experience. Staff is extremely professional, personable and a delight to visit. It was a good experience overall and I would highly recommend this location.

Worst place to rent and return a vehicle,return an vehicle to this location in perfect condition,was given the usual return expection,was given a go ahead however I received an Email the same night stating that they are filing an insurance claim for front end damage,unheard of and unfounded...Smh

I had to get a car rental due to a collision accident. I'm satisfied with my experience using Enterprise. Staff was friendly and it was a smooth transaction picking up the car and returning it. Had no issues with the car. Definitely coming back to this location if I ever need another car rental.

Quarter of a tank left on my rental, that's how they gave it to me, really? They need to give them out with a full tank of gas, us working people don't have time to running around looking for a gas station, especially for people that travel for work. And the manager was rude about it too.

This place is always under staff and CJ the co-manager is incompetent. Even if you reserve ahead of time be prepared to wait 1 hour or more. Dropping off is as painfully long as well. The hours are 8am-5pm Mon-Fri. Therefore, be prepared to take the day off from work!

Super unprofessional and super rude. Don’t waste your time going there. Just go down the street to the enterprise on 55th instead. Staff there doesn’t know what they’re doing and they are extremely rude. Glad I took my business elsewhere.

Better than Avis. Avis literally wants to run a credit check if you rent with debit. Went to enterprise was driving away in 10 minutes too
