DO NOT make the mistake of renting from Enterprise if you can avoid it. Try Budget/Avis, Hertz, anything. My personal vehicle was hit and deemed a total loss so I had to be in a rental from them until the new car that I ordered arrived. During the time I had their car I would randomly receive rude, aggressive calls threatening me regarding returning my vehicle. Multiple times I had to explain to different people that I was still waiting for my new car to be delivered (paying customer w zero desire to keep their Kia). Initially I explained the situation to Cynthia, the manager where I got my car. She said it was fine and that I could extend until my new car came in...to let her know when it did. This must not have been communicated or wasn't regarded because a month later, ten days before I was to return their car and pick up my new personal vehicle, I got an extraordinarily rude, unprofessional call from Jessica Coffey, the area manager while I was at work in the hospital on a 12-hr shift and due back the following day. She said I had to return the car at 9am the following day (despite my having to work 7a-7p) or would be reported for theft. Mind you they had never stopped charging my credit card on file so I was still paying. She was unwilling to listen to what I was telling her; she had apparently made up her mind that I for whatever reason wasn't going to return the car. If someone this rude, unprofessional, and incompetent is the area manager it speaks volumes about how bad Enterprise has gotten over the years. After this experience I will Never rent from Enterprise again. To the automated response below from Enterprise: You have my detailed account. It’s not the responsibility of the customer to follow up with Enterprise to solve Enterprise’s serious customer service problems.

I'm really upset with the corporate executives, but the customer service representatives are great. I made a reservation online while in Ohio because I was rerouted from Savannah to Jacksonville. I thought no big deal, I'll rent a car and drive the 2 hours. Made the reservation and got an email confirmation that everything would be good to go when I landed in Florida. FALSE. I took an Uber to the agency and turns out that corporate doesn't feel it's necessary to invest in a computer system that updates whether there's actually any rentals available on the lot or not. There was NOTHING. Not even at any of their affiliated sites (due to spring break). My reservation was for 10am. The reps told me a car would not be available until 5pm. Now, that's not their fault. They're doing their job. Why would the six-figure paid executives not figure something out to make this system more efficient? There was an elderly man who had also been waiting there for TWO. HOURS. Omg. Poor guy. Of course, the reps were trying to call all the online reservations to let them know there were no rentals available, but NEW RESERVATIONS KEPT POPPING UP. And if you make a reservation on Expedia or Orbitz or Kayak or something, they can't call you because they don't have your number. Or like me, I was on an airplane! Anyway, the minimum-wage reps did phenomenal and deserve six figure raises for putting up with angry customers who inappropriately direct their anger towards them when REALLY it's the fault of their overpaid, cush bosses who probably just spend all their time schmoozing and golfing and calling it "work". 5 stars for the reps. 0 stars for the corporation and executives. HIRE SOME COMPUTER PROGRAMMERS.

Worst experience ever! Called the Enterprise number, was given a confirmation number for a car at 11am, was put on hold and was on hold for over 30 minutes. I decided to Lyft down to the branch bc I was on hold for so long. I wasted $7.50 one way on Lyft bc when I got there I was told I had to be put on a waiting list for 4-5pm today. I was told this as soon as I walked in the door and not even asked about my confirmation number. They didn't offer to call to other locations to see about availability. Why tell me there is availability when there really isn't? I found out that it wasn't even these ladies at this particular location who said I had a car. I'm only here for today and wanted to go see family. This wasn't even the entire experience. After I got there I called a different branch and was put on hold again for about 12 minutes then was told I would need to call another branch bc it looked like they had availability. It finally worked out with another branch but for 2 hours this morning I was very frustrated and it didn't have to be that way.

They always have a car available for you if you pre-order it. The manager and other staff are very friendly and helpful! My only difficulty is that my husband is not assertive enough when he explains I cannot get in and out of a car that has low seats nor seats that have you sitting in a hole. The seats themselves are comfortable, but I cannot get in and out of them! I need a higher seat that sits more level. I have many spine and joint diseases like Rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, degenerative disk disease, fibromyalgia, stenosis of the spine, just to name a few. I have to wear a back brace and sometimes a neck collar. We cannot afford the bigger cars and there are so few that work for me. Small SUVs and mid-sized cars usually work okay, but not always. They definitely cannot be a small nor sport car. The most recent car was comfortable and the price was not too bad, but it had me sitting in a hole and was very hard on me trying to get in and out of the car!

I was given a Chevy Cruze that was so dirty that I had to clean the windows and mirrors to see safely. I pointed out the scratches and pine sap on the car to the staff. I cleaned the windows, mirrors and the pine sap for them. I found that the left A/C Vent didn't work once I was on the road. Overall you need to be more professional and have more vehicles available at this location and make sure they are clean and pre-inspected for problems. While I love the location close to my home, I also didn't like the additional charge added to my bill by the website I booked through. I never saw a separate charged on my card before this from other rental agencies and third party rental sites.

Poor customer service, No stars. I received a call today to confirm my reservation to only have a dispute with the associate about the convertible that I reserved. I was advised that you have to actually be over 25 therefore I would not be able to rent the vehicle being currently age 25. After confirming with the reservation center that the information was not true. I called back to speak with management; Devon who was very nonchalant and didn’t even listen insisted on stating that it was routed potentially someone from a call center not his staff(not the case when someone calls you). I tried to confirm that all of his staff will be fully aware of this so the miscommunication would not happen to me again when I come to pick up my vehicle he seemed as though it didn’t matter so my reservation through this branch has been canceled.

The young man and young woman that were working that day, were running around crazy! Not only was it a Friday, it was so hot! And they maintained professionalism, upbeat attitudes, very friendly and soft spoken and were both extremely helpful. They were unsure if I was going to get a vehicle although I was the earliest of the appointments at the end of the work day as well as what I requested may not have been on the lot. I remained patient as the hour winded down and the gentlemen was so kind and got me into a brand new car because I was just like them, kind of rolling with the punches as the day was coming to a close. Both the young man and woman were there upon return and were eager to aid me as well as provide me a ride back home. Definitely grateful for their service and aid for this renting service!!

I'm very disappointed... all my plans are ruined because of this company.... How do you operate a rental car company with no customer parking? Then you charge a client for returning a vehicle LATE ( YET YOU BOOK YOUR VEHICLE FOR A SPECIFIC TIME AND GET THE RENTAL LATE ).. Easily the best experience I’ve even had with a rental agency. Firstly, the office was clean and squared away and I was helped immediately after I showed up. The customer service was fantastic. I was assisted by Garrett, he made the pickup fast, easy and ensured that the price I reserved the rental for was the price I paid. He was courteous, attentive and efficient, making the rental painless from start to finish. The vehicle was clean, without issue and ready when I got there. I never felt rushed or like an inconvenience. Customer service in Jacksonville is, in my experience, practically non-existent or abysmal at best, but I felt like you guys knocked it out of the park. A++, all of my future business will be with this branch, can’t recommend them enough.

Be very careful at this place if you get a rental from your insurance company and the return date isnt known yet. Enterprise will call you one time not leave a voicemail then charge you every day without telling you. I know this because i checked my bank statement while my car was still being worked on. Straight up shady. Then they call me back after i had the insurance company fix the issue telling me i should try to remember they didnt do anything wrong and i should do my best to leave them positive feed back i wish i got their name. But just so everyone knows Enterprise will let 5 days of charges add up on your credit card and only try to call you one time i had 200 bucks worth of charges still waiting for my money back. Terrible customer service.

It is rare for companies to exceed expectations, but what an amazingly awesome experience dealing with Enterprise. They picked me up, got me into a nice Toyota Corolla and the price was right. They offer optional insurance, but not with the high pressure sales pitch other rental car companies have done to me in the past. I needed a car for just a week since my auto was in the body shop, but one week turned into 2 weeks which turned into 3 weeks. I had to keep calling Enterprise to extend the rental, and was expecting a fairly sizable bill for the 3 week period. When i got the bill i thought there might be a mistake because it was about 200 dollars LESS than i was expecting. I will never rent a vehicle from anywhere else again.

I will never recommend this location to anyone. Megan said she tried to contact me when there were issues regarding my insurance but did not leave a message and I was not aware of these issues until I checked with my bank and saw charges stacking up in my account. I would have taken care of things immediately had she at least left a message making these issues known to me. When you work in a hospital, you don't have the luxury of sitting at a desk or taking that moment to answer your phone. Plus, when I did go in to resolve things, she snapped at me about how she "stood right there" when I was informed. Again, I didn't know there was an issue or I would have resolved it right away.

So I needed a car to take a trip about 2 hours away and my personal vehicle was having fuel pump issues and I was waiting on a part. I decided to go to Enterprise on Atlantic Blvd near the Hart bridge in Jax, FL. As soon as I got there, I was greeted promptly and was given several options. The customer service was great, and all the fees were explained up front. The deposit was $200 and I was told that it would most likely be put back into my bank account in 48 hours. That is exactly what happened. I rented a 2020 Mustang Convertible. What I loved about the whole experience is I went there about 4pm and was driving away with a vehicle within 15 to 20 minutes.

We made the reservation 36 hours in advance. We also made arrangements for a pick up ride at the same time. We were told to call 2 hours before the pick up time which we did. We had to wait an hour beyond the arranged pick up time for our ride. Then when we arrived at their office we were told they did not have a vehicle available for us. We had to sit and wait for 3 hours while they called around and found a car for us. Then, when the vehicle arrived it was a pickup truck. We reserved a 4 door sedan. The employees were not the problem. Enterprise logistics were obviously not on par with their competition whom we have never had this type of issue with.

I love enterprise rent a car I was in a rental car for 8months the one on atlantic blvd near art museum dr is awesome they made sure I was comfortable never had a problem with them they treated me like I was one of their own I would recommend enterprise rent a car to anyone who wants to rent a car the staff all are amazing to work with I love the time and the experience I had with enterprise rent a car I will always choose them for all my rental car needs jasmine, Brady, and the others that worked with me I just want to thank you guys for everything you guys rock see y'all soon

Been in Florida for 5 weeks, we have rented from Enterprise, Budget and Avis. We have come back to Enterprise and have had zero problems with their service. Both budget and Avis still have holds on my credit cards totaling 800 dollars from the 12th. We have called multiple times and still haven't gotten our money from those other rental companies. Enterprise is amazing and will work with you to get you where we need to be! Thank you Enterprise for making a very scary and stressful situation alittle easier for us. We will never rent a car from anyone else.

They were very busy for labor day which is understandable make a few mistakes the girl who took my reservation was very rude and acted like its her first day on the job she messed up my address 3 times which lead to the driver being late and me waiting over an hour for the driver to pick me up, driver was very nice he needs a promotion he is great with people. The girl who checked me out when i brought the car back was also very nice and charged me for only 2 days because of labor day and i had the car for 3 days which made my experience a satisfying one.

The worst experience ever. I received two calls from enterprise to confirm my reservation, the reservation that I reserved 10 days ago. Only to get there and witness a very disgruntle customer as well as a customer who was waiting for the correct size car he reserved. The other they didn't have her reservation at all, so I kinda knew what I was about hear because this unfortunately happened to me at this location on a previously rental. However I did receive two confirmation calls with one an HR before my pick time. Sooo the worst experience ever.

The guys working here are amazing. Unfortunately my car wasn't ready by the time my insurance wanted to cancel payments... but these guys worked with me and we figured out a smooth resolution and I was never out of a car until the body shop said mine was ready. They are always very helpful, and you can tell they want to resolve any issues. My only complaint is they need to hire someone strictly to answer the phone. Their hold time is ridiculous, but I know they are busy and short staffed. I would definitely rent from them again!

I have never wrote a review in my life. But, the lady that helped me today (Kiana - pardon the spelling if it's wrong), was amazing. I have had the worst past few days and she truly made my experience renting a car the best. Her customer service and knowledge was outstanding. They were swamped when we got there, but she stayed on point. Without getting into a super long story, I'll just say I can rest easy tonight. I recommend this location to anyone needing a rental. Especially, if she stays working there.

The staff were very friendly and worked with me to get me into a vehicle. It took a little long (Enterprise and their "open booking system" - which allows people to book cars that are not even there), but they were able to come through. Antonio was awesome :). I rented about a month prior from the Northside branch and though the experience wasn't horrible, the customer service wasn't as great. I don't plan to be a career car renter, but if truly needed I would definitely recommend this location.

My husband and I rented an Equinox and the car smelled like marijuana so strong that even the sure fresheners that I put in the car didn't even help the smell. Not a very good thing when my baby has asthma. They told us no smoking and there are signs in the car that say the same, but clearly the previous renter didn't follow those instructions. It was so bad that when we got to our destination, the people that we met with thought that we had been smoking in the car with our children in the car.

Antonio and Kenyatta are the best at this enterprise I'm never disappointed with the customer service... great management! I told Antonio about car issues I faced and how bad road side assistance sucks. I gave him play by play of what happened. I wasn't seeking money or anything I just didn't want anyone to get that car after me and something happens to them. He took care of the problem. This store needs more recognition because they do the damn job good!

I never thought I would have such a fantastic experience with a rental car company that I just had to write a review. Jake Ward the assistant manager that had assisted me and was extremely helpful, personable and pleasant. A simple process was made into a great experience and Jake really wanted to ensure we were set up well for our trip ahead. This location was further from me than intended but I would definitely make the drive again to this location.

Glad I found this place. We usually go up to the airport to rent but that's a hassle so I was glad to find this place. The prices were competitive and the staff was outstanding. I only dealt with the tall young man with the dark short hair. He was very nice, polite and quick to serve. The young African American lady was very polite and professional. Not going to the airport anymore unless we have no choice due to the hours. Keep up the good work.

It is impossible to get through to this branch, even if you have a car reserved. On Jan. 9, 2023, I dialed the number, went through the long, complicated choices offered, then waited and waited and waited, only to be disconnected. This happened repeatedly throughout the afternoon and I was never able to speak to anyone. Either there's something wrong with this branch's phones, or the office is seriously understaffed.

I rarely give 5 stars but Enterprise earned them. I worked with 3 offices over a week (mainly this one) with a rental after my car was totaled. Every agent with whom I spoke was cheerful, helpful, and seemed to think ahead for what I might need. Since I don't rent cars often, I was very appreciative. I sound like a commercial and I promise I'm not but I will definitely call Enterprise next time I need a rental.

I needed a truck. At first they could not locate one. They gave me a call about an hour before it was time for me to pick up to let me know they hadn't located a truck for me yet but was still working on it. About 25 minutes till my time to pick up, they had me a truck. It wasn't what I asked for but they got me something. A hour later they had my Ford F150. They delivered big time saving the day.

Just watch the amount of fuel that they list on your contract. They aren't the only office that lists the amount of fuel being much higher than it actually is. It was clearly below a quarter tank and they marked it at 1/2 tank. After I asked them to change it on the paperwork they got in the car again to see what it marked it at a quarter rather than marking it where it was at below a quarter.

10/10 Service! Garrett and Jake are amazing. During a very stressful situation, they made things absolutely seamless for me being that I've never used a rental car before. Great customer service in general, they had smiles on their faces every time I saw them. Hopefully won't need a rental car anytime soon but if I do, I know where I'm going!! 4303 Atlantic for sure. Horrible experience, I walked 2miles to get to enterprise, changes my reservation time, and once I got there I was still denied due to not having a utility bill. Which still wouldn't have worked because the address is different from the zip code I work in and was picking the car up from. Website states $200 deposit for debit card users not all this other stuff. Very inconveniencing

Dont waste your time reserving a car; they will only call you to tell you they don't have the one you want; then try to pawn thier other car off on you...Happened twice...Their reservations mean NOTHING !!!!! They will then tell you the car you want is some far away place ; only to tell you that you will have to go an get it. Their commercials are sooo catchy !!!!

Not pleased they had me on a do not rent list from 2018 I started calling them at 10:06 until 12:08 to find out why as the person at the counter could not tell me. I have yet to get a call back with an answer. Poor service I have only used enterprise when I had an accident. I will not use them again and will not recommend them to any one.

Customer service and my car were wonderful. The gentleman with the red hair (i did not ask his name, totally forgot) was wonderful and very very nice! Will definitely get rentals here from now on if I should ever need to rent again! Deposit came back to my card immediately as well

Reservation was made for Saturday. Arrived walking and no car. Monday no car and so far Tuesday morning no car. I can't plan my day around call back at noon or 3 or 4 and we might have a return. That's what I heard on Monday. I'm going back to Budget.
