Forest lawn Enterprise was the worst car rental I have ever experienced, I was in need of a rental which would be covered under Dodge warranty. I was without a vehicle for 4 days each day i called to get a status update. (Factor in I had no vehicle so I was not able to get to work outside of Calgary and live outside of Calgary) on the Saturday they still were not able to provide a vehicle and they closed at noon . I then decided to go rent one from the Airport Enterprise. The following Monday the Forest lawn location said I had to bring my rental to there location for them to inspect the car and re-sign my contract even know I rented from a Enterprise (as it was going through Dodge warranty) so another day off work to head in to Calgary. Once I arrived the worker looked over the vehicle and notified me he could not re-sign the contact as there was significant hail damage... said I would need to head back to the airport Enterprise pay the damages and then start a new contract (keep in mind the entire time I had the vehicle there was no hail for weeks) I headed back to the Airport Enterprise explained the situation, they looked over the vehicle and found no hail damage. Exchanged vehicles and I went on my way. So unprofessional, shady and a total waste of my time. Take the extra drive and head to any other Enterprise location. I recommend the Airport Enterprise!!!
I got a call around 10:00am yesterday from a man who was advised to call and discuss to either my sister or myself about rental cars. I was currently driving at the time and asked the guy on the phone if he could call my sister instead. He agreed and I gave him the phone number to call. A few hours pass and my sister did not receive a call so I decided to follow up and call them instead. First time I called- it constantly kept ringing and no one picked up. I tried again and this time someone picked up and hung up right away. Third time I called- someone finally picked up and asked if I could go on hold or if I can give them my phone number so they could call back. I chose the option for them to call me back and of course I never heard from them again that day. TODAY, my sister tried calling them and was put on hold forever. They finally got back to her and she explained how we were waiting for a call to talk about rentals since yesterday. Whoever was talking to her said that he has ALREADY discussed about the rentals with ME and already talked to ME about "protection plan, and how I was going to pick up the car rental by Monday." which is completely false. I was never able to get a hold of anyone to begin with. Not sure how good the service is in person, but talking to them on the phone has been unpleasant with long waits and very disorganized.
I was referred here by Eastside Dodge for a loaner as my vehicle was repaired under warranty. I was during my lunch hour so I stressed that I needed everything to be efficient as I have to get back to the office. The person that was helping me (a manager) was joking around instead of getting the information he needed effectively. The only Dodge vehicle available (as it has to be a Dodge) was a Ram truck. They asked me if i was comfortable driving it - but I didn't really have a choice at this point. Then said manager made a comment word for word "you would look really nice driving a truck, normally small girls will". It is completely degrading and inappropriate but I was already late as he jokes around and did not want to spare a breath. They also wanted to charge me $20/day fee because I am under 25 which was removed by the manager at another branch. I ended up going to the Enterprise at Blackfoot and was helped by a man named Andy, who was an absolute delight. I would steer away from the Forest Lawn branch. The same manager there phoned me to see how everything went. But at this point there is nothing they can do to earn my business again. I told them that i was not satisfied and I will not be coming back, and they wanted to say I was completely satisfied because I did not feel like wasting my time with jokesters.
Hi I would like to say a special thank you to KAMI who helped me out at this location. Kami is without a doubt one of the most energetic and caring customer service clerk I have ever encountered. I had a credit card issue and felt really embarrassed about it but she was patient and understanding of the situation which was eventually corrected (damn card companies) and while dealing with the problem she took the time to come and check on me which really showed she had a caring interest in what I was experiencing and would have helped me as much as she could but the problem was for me to take care of. Anyways not only is she a very positive person but a caring one to. She made me feel like a super star in that rental center and I just wanted to thank her for her 5 STAR QUALITY SERVICE. As for the rental company itself its one of the best I have ever used and will continue to use in the future. The manager whom I forgot his name is also an awesome individual as he called me to personally thank me for using this location and asked me if there was anything else he could do for me. Terrible experience would be an understatement.... I spent the majority of the morning trying to get through to this branch so i could return my rental and get a ride back to my work. ( i understand places are busy) but my patience was running a little thin at this point.. i explained to the manager over the phone that I would need a ride back to work. when I arrived he was a very unpleasant man to deal, after inspection of the vehicle he told me i had to go top off the gas tank. so i drove to the gas station to put in a whopping $2.50 worth of gas to "top" off I had probably been standing there for atleast 15 - 20minutes when i had to use the restroom (im 6 months pregnant) to which the manager stated due to covid 19 the bathrooms are closed. I AM 6 MONTHS PREGNANT!!!!! well thats what AHS told us! no buddy little do you know that i own my own business and ahs does not restrict bathroom use to customers nice try though. I WILL NEVER USE ENTERPRISE AGAIN this man should no longer have a job. I have never felt so small before in my life.
Enterprise received one star from me based on extreme poor service . I had a rental booked TWO weeks prior to the date of need, based on insurance taking my vehicle . Insurance booked the rental. I had called to confirm this 3 days before and then they called me back the day before offering pick up service . The day of , I am awaiting to be picked up and call to see what's going on; I am told there are no available vehicles for me and I will be put onto the waiting list. I was told I should of booked sooner; and that the city is a very busy place . What a joke!? This meant I went without a car completely and was actually meant to go pick up my new vehicle. Fortunately a friend used their lunch break to help me, but this would of screwed me otherwise . They then called the next day saying they have a vehicle ready. Just my experience, not organized , and they will not accept or admit that they messed up.
Andy!!! Amazing manager at Enterprise. He is what real customer service is all about! Actually, everyone I dealt with there were very professional and easy going. Coming from a customer service background, it's good to experience true customer service where you are a real person and they take care of your needs. I would go back to this location and deal with Enterprise again, just for that reason. The only negative, is that I got a car that wasnt cleaned before getting. It seems that the other drivers literally just dropped it off and I picked up where they left off. Maybe because it was a loaner vehicle while mine was getting repaired... and was paid by my insurance company?? But other than that, it was an overall excellent experience and would refer anyone to go there.
Yesterday (June 17, 2021) around 4:30pm, my brother was trying to pick up a vehicle later he found that his license was expired (honest mistake), to which he renewed his license right after. The staff instructed him to come back tomorrow morning (June 18) around 8am to pick up the vehicle "first thing in the morning." We were just there around 8:20am notified that the vehicle was already taken by another client. Confused and frustrated, we were told that the vehicle will be for us to pick up later to be found that we came there for nothing - waste of gas and time for us. Instructed again to come back around 10am. I think the level of miscommunication to us from the staff is disappointing - now questioning whether enterprise is the way to go for renting cars.
The folks here are amazing. After the June hail storm my insurance told me I could not have a rental even though my husband's car was written off so he had to take my car out of province. Enterprise contacted me to come and pick up a rental billed to my insurance. On the 4th day I had the car, my insurance called to inform me that they would only agree to pay for 3 days. I contacted enterprise and they worked with me allowing me to extend the rental until my husband got back for a reduced rate. It was the most exceptional service I have ever recieved and am pleased to say that the rental care company cared more about and did more to assist with the difficult situation then my insurance company did. I strongly recommend using this location
I reserved a car online to pick up the next day, first of all it was very easy to do and showed all costs and pricing. I arrived early morning the next day to pick up the car and the gentleman named Nav at the front desk was very kind and welcoming was also fast and efficient he explained all charges and he was very helpful. I was in and out with the car in no time. I just returned the car today and same thing, the gentlemen who helped was very kind and efficient and took no time. We had a nice chat with all the staff in the office and it made the experience even more enjoyable and easy. Thanks so much Gents! You made my stressful situation into an easy fix. Much appreciated and I will go back whenever I need to!
Very courteous and attentive staff. You don’t wait around without being acknowledged that is for sure. Chippy is an absolute slice to deal with and he is my favourite so far. Charges were as agreed, they called on day two to see how things were going. Customer service 1000% at this location and it because they put a lot of effort into customer service. Their assistant manager made a point of checking on how satisfied I was with their customer service when I was at the counter dropping off the vehicle and specifically asked if I would rent there again which made me feel like they value my business. Great job Farhan! Will be back if I ever need a rental again!
Nobody to somebody I mean, I don't know Chippy 2 years ago. Now we became best buddy because we as customer need a person like a Chippy. Reason why say that is because he cares his clients and he does understand better with his client and situation importantly he cares for his client. On 18th August. He was off but he did help me finding the car that was needed even though he was off. Thank you very very much for your help and we do need manager like you. You are always smiley face meaning you love you what you do and we love the way you cares and help us as your client. You are great a person. Thanks to all your team. See you soon again
Couldn’t be more disgusted with the customer service and mannerism I experienced today. Complete lack of professionalism and berating fellow co workers in front of customers. I witnessed one co worker get frustrated and rip the I pad out of another co workers hand due to a interruption in the internet which seemed to put fault on his fellow employee. I felt very pushed, rushed and dismissed in my short transaction. I WILL NOT be going back there! Feel bad for the other workers that have to put up with his obvious abuse. Thank you to the tall slim man who “tried” to assist us you were great! The other guy was disgustingly ignorant.
If I could give a Negative rating I would. I got a rental from this location and the Car that I got is not clean. I would expect that they would clean/sanitize every rental that they have since COVID-19 cases is on the rise but they didn’t. A dead fly and the dashboard was dusty, stains all over the seats. I’ve sent pictures to their manager but I didn’t even get a call back or a reply back and on top of that they have me a vehicle that didn’t have a copy of their registration and a flat tire. I couldn’t even ask for another vehicle since they just dropped off the car at the body shop where my car is bring fixed from hail.
Me and our Company always renting Cars from Enterprise since 3 years from 47 Street 17th ave SE which is located in our neighborhood. Last few Visits we had bad Experience in this branch. Extremely Sad and disrespectful insulted behavior for the Customers from their One Worker Name Chippy. In the neighborhood Mostly disappointed from this guy Chippy and now from Enterprise too. Might Enterprise Management blind and proud to have these kind of worker to destroy their business in neighborhood... ........ If the Enterprise they did not take Immediate action. They can lose their Credibility, Respect Even business.........
Went to pick up the rental. Manager did not even greet any customer let alone me. Then, it's my turn for rental and I found dog hair and not few but tons. So, I went inside to tell the manager and his response, "I'll note it down". As ex-employer, the company's reputation, value, integrity and all the other fancy words they use, all went down to toilet. The cleanliness, in times like Covid, is very important and mandatory just like mask. From next time onwards, I'll take my business somewhere else. This is just for the reference in case if it happens.
No accountability. Booking was confirmed and sent via email and then cancelled without ANY notification or reasonable explanation. One employee told me my car was at another branch and another said it was actually automatically cancelled and that they had been all booked up for days. My bookings and weekend trip had to be completely cancelled. (some of which I was not reimbursed for). Worst of all nothing was offered from the staff as a solution to this gross inconvenience. 0/5 would not recommend nor would I use their services in the future.
Great service. The person even helped influence his counterpart at the Airdrie location (who called me 2 days before my minivan reservation/long weekend to let me know that the minivan will not be available - and I had my reservation for 2 months!). Very friendly, helpful, professional person at this location (forgot his name) called the Airdrie manager and was able to positively influence him - so the Airdrie person started looking for something for me. Really grateful for this, really dissatisfied with the Airdrie "service" or lack of it.
Can't offer any complaints despite being a 50+ white guy, and I've used them several times. I have grumbled a couple times over prices but it's usually because of my poor planning and it's not a matter this shop decides. They do push the plu$ add ons available but that's business and they do take no for an answer even if followed by "But do you have insurance for the windshield..." It's their job. Aside from that, always friendly and quick as possible with getting you to and from the shop with pick-up and drop off available for free.

I go to return the minivan that I rented. There was a person in front of me. The Manager said take the van to Eastside Dodge and drop it off so you don’t have to wait. WOW! I have never received such amazing customer service from anywhere like Enterprise Forest Lawn. Each and every one of the staff went above and beyond to make our experience one not to forget. All the staff were super friendly and helpful. The car we received was amazing. Just everything amazing. I would recommend here 100%. If we are in Calgary again we will return without a doubt. I use Enterprise frequently with my job. This is my favorite location. Chippy, Mudiwa, Nav...I have utmost respect for their professionalism. They bend over backwards for all guests whenever I have been at this location. Despite some customers demanding it is all about "them". Whenever I have had to get a lift, the conversations have always been wonderful. I have learnt much about these young men. Keep doing a wonderful job, all of you. And thank you!!
The staff really care about the customer satisfaction. If you are ever not happy with somthing, politely bring it up, and if it is in their power, they will do what ever they can to make it right. Their manager Alex really cares about the quality of service his branch provides. He and his staff care alot about their customers. I would come a rent from him again. If I were to have any issues, I feel confident that Alex and his team would resolve it.
I had a great experience from Enterprise. The staff was polite even when they were super busy. I rented the Nissan Versa Note, great little car although I found it did suck gas I got about 19 MPG. Keep in mind it is their job to try and up sell you, a bigger car or their insurance. Check with your credit card company as most offer insurance for rental cars for about $35 per year instead of $30 a day from the rental car company.
I would recommend these guys anytime to anyone looking for a stress-free experience. The service is just awesome! I was picked up from home, shown my options of vehicles, provided with an alternate choice as soon as I took interest in other vehicles available, was told of mandatory collision clause and two days later, able to apply my insurance policy clause to my rental contract....all this with a smile and prompt response.
Andrew, the manager in this location, is simply amazing. I have been to numerous Enterprise locations across Calgary over the years and none compare to the quality of service in this one! Truly.... We were back in the city to visit family right before the lockdown and the staff working in this location have been the most helpful and pleasant during our trip. Not helpful at all!!! The manager sat on the phone and ignored us the whole time. The guy at the front desk was not accommodating at all, he told us that the whole city was booked. So we called Budget Rentals and they said sure no problem we can get you in a car right away. Budget rentals was very accommodating and happy to do business with us!
After a month, this company reached me again saying that you have to pay for the car, you signed it, you have to pay the additional costs, in case I paid for my full insurance, and now it has arrived again, it sent 228 dollars, you have to pay for this company, I used my credit card. I call Bank I changed it so that they don't steal my money

I have followed this man around Calgary from 3 different locations and has always made renting a car such an easy, peaceful, and amazing experience. Called yesterday for rental car. Spoke with TJ. They were kind and it was simple. They picked me and my daughter up and was so helpful though the whole process. Got me new a vehicle I was comfortable with and checked everything with me. Definitely will go back there.

The team of Cam and his guys and gals at the Forest Lawn Enterprise branch are top notch. I get great service at the London Heathrow Enterprise which is expected but the team at this Forest Lawn Calgary location goes above & beyond. They do Enterprise proud.

So I came here and I had a reservation for a car. They said they had a car for me. When I got here, they said they didn't. I was furious but Patrick who helped me was very understanding and professional and solved my problems.

Reservation mentioned I was to be picked up at the collision centre. Not only was I not picked up, but I was offered exactly no assistance with actually getting to the enterprise location after being stranded by enterprise.

If you're going to pay by debit, make sure to bring all the documents you can find to prove your identity and where you live. Don't listen to the call center, they apparently don't know how the local stations operate.
The branch manger is so rude and aggressive. Don’t use this location. Not professional at all. Location manager name is Ricky. Every single time I have to deal with him it’s a pain. If you have to go there avoid him.
