Honestly I went here with my family a couple days ago, and it was one of the poorest rental services I've ever seen in terms of customer service, and just service in general, and the manager is just shocking, you'd think a guy like him would mature, and professional but it's the opposite. I went here because my insurance requested me to rent from them temporarily, and upon arrival they said they had no cars for me, or none in stock, so I'd have to wait. Upon telling them I'd need a car for work urgently he responded with "You can use public transportation" in an aggressive tone, and proceeded to say they don't have any car in stock, despite Enterprise telling me, that I already had a reservation made, and ready, so I had said to him, I will most likely rent from a different Enterprise office or even a different company to which he sort of got triggered, and jealous that I was making Phone calls, and asking for other locations, He even said "You don't need to rent from us, please", and as I close the door, I can tell he was sort of mad, where he said some remark, thinking I didn't hear it. Upon calling Enterprise, turns out he got real jealous, and honestly triggered, that he actually tried to block us, from renting, which shocked us all, and as I call Enterprise Main Number, they were shocked. I'm not sure whats this manager's name is, but I have his card somewhere, I believe its Chris, or Micheal? but the issue at this location isn't the workers, the lack of cars, but primarily the management. I have no clue what I did wrong, entering the store, the employees wanted to help, and he just decided to barge in, and ruin the experience. My insurance already took note, and I already arranged to rent a car from a different company overall, because it was surprising. A middle-aged manager, who works at Enterprise, jealous of someone else finding a solution for a rental somewhere else? No clue. I don't mean to disrespect, but its just shocking. I've rented many cars, in Canada, and in Europe, and I've never met a manager like this in my life before.

Up until my last rental with Enterprise (dovercourt) I had only postive experiences to include. Below is more a warning reminder to folks in terms of dropping their rental off. I was ticketed for my rental being dropped off. I had an 8am return time and was not able to return it on time without having to drop it off the evening before just prior to midnight. *NOTE - anyone who's been to this site knows how terribly small their parking lot is. Case in point when I dropped the car off the parking lot was jam packed. One car was even parked across the sidewalk. I parked mine a few buildings north - thought I read the sign correctly, but did not as a couple weeks later I got an email from Enterprise stating as such and that my credit card would be billed. I am not arguing the point of the ticket. I parked the car, I'll pay the bill. My frustration is with the lack of acountability of Enterprise's part when I inquired as to how they intend to subsequently inform their customers on what to do in a situation like this. Even explaining that it's possible (and likely) that their lot will be full on a Sunday night) I've seen my email be forwarded on several times to 'higher up' folks who presumably could reply, but 1. have not and 2. this is a site specific issue. Watching a simple email be passed off again and again is tiring and pathetic to watch. My request was to know whether they intend on informing people of what to do when the lot is full and we cannot 'drop our car off' without running the risk of being ticketed in that window between 7-8am where parking is no longer available on the street and their office hasn't opened. Note: The comment below made b y the owner led to nothing but a email goose chase on my part and no one at Enterprise took accountability in the four different people I was turned over to as their attempt to 'resolve' the issue.

This is by far the worst enterprise I have ever visited. They had lots of cars at the location but none of the were cleaned and ready until someone asked for a car. I had to wait there for over 50 minutes for them to clean the car and get it ready. The personnel were rude and extremely unprofessional. Person handling the administration forcefully charged me and extra $100 deposit in addition to the standard $300 security deposit. When I asked why? He arrogantly responded "if you don't want to pay the extra deposit, you can leave." I even tried to tell him that he was wrong and he rudely said the extra $100 deposit was company policy. (I checked an it is %100 wrong) He even forcefully took my credit card the entire time I was waiting for the car and when I confronted him, he said "if you don't hand over the credit card, we can't give you a car" !!!!!!!!!!!! Very unprofessional and very rude. I regularly visit Enterprise at other downtown Toronto locations and they're always great But this Dovercourt location is by far the worst location. Avoid this location at all cost. I will never go there again.

I had a wonderful experience at this Enterprise. Last week I came in 45mins before closing, completely overwhelmed by a terrible day, and Jennifer was immediately on my side! She got me a perfect little blue Kona, clearly and gently explained the terms of service and insurance options, and was not at all flustered by the chaos energy I was experiencing at the time. I cannot express how grateful I am for her professionalism and compassion, I will always come back to Enterprise for all of my car rentals from now on!! I liked the car so much I called the day it was due back and asked to keep it longer - to which they approved! The manager on-site was also incredibly professional and efficient, he already knew who I was when I dropped off the car and checked in with me about my experience. The holistic, professional approach to customer service is unparalleled, I am still blown away by how easy all of this was for me to navigate because the Dovercourt Enterprise team was there for me every step of the way!!

Of the last four rentals that I've booked and utilized from this location, only one was satisfactory. On one of the four, the window wipers were dangerously eroded making a trip I took through the Trans-Canada Highway at night extremely dangerous. When I reported this to the manager at that time, she just shrugged her shoulders at me. My last one smelled of incontinences and got progressively worse when the vehicle was in direct sunlight. Good to see that this location is meeting the cleaning requirements it boasts about on the phone and website. Every time I've had an issues, they guaranteed me a discount on my next booking. With each new booking, nothing was offered / suggested. I only got a discount on my last booking because I was mad and demanded one. I'd avoid this location and will start looking for another rental option.

Rented a car 2 weeks ago, was over-charged and payment put through on the wrong card. I've called 3 times to talk to someone, gone in to the location 2 times, and it still isn't sorted out! It's like the staff are playing a deliberate game of hot potato with me. I rented with them previously and had a poor experience (car pick-up process took almost an hour!!!) but decided to try them again... I rent cars frequently, and will NOT be coming back. Edit: 7/31/2017 Appreciate the owner reaching out, but I gave them 5 chances, all on my own time, to fix the problem and they ignored me completely each time. I have rented with Hertz twice since this incident and had flawless experiences with outstanding service.

This might just be the best Enterprise out there! I recently required a car to drive from Toronto to Nova Scotia for a family reunion. The staff here were so accommodating here. I got on touch short notice and they did everything in their power to make sure I had a vehicle ready for an 11 day rental. And I sure did. Not only did they have a vehicle lined up, but they got me in a BRAND NEW 2019 Toyota 4Runner. It had just been delivered. It still smelled like new car. And was a dream to drive. The staff were helpful, accommodating and funny. I will certainly be back and look forward to my next trip! Chris

Rented a car. Tried to call the office but was routed to their call centre. Booked a pickup. No one showed up. Called the office. They tell me they haven't done that in 2 years. They give me a number to call another Enterprise. Zero customer service and no offer of assistance about their mistake. Now I am stuck with no options at 5:30pm at night. So deeply disappointed. I never write these reviews, but trust me, I will be telling everyone I know not to rent from Enterprise, and from this location, so no one else ends up in this situation. I would give zero stars if I could

I rarely have good luck with car rental places and find the staff unhelpful and rude. However, this was not the case at this Enterprise. I needed a truck to move and although there were none available at Dovercourt, Mike found one at another location. When we returned the truck there was a bit of a misunderstanding but Mike went out of his way to ensure it was cleared up. He was polite and appologetic. I will definitely rent from this location again and would reccomend it to anyone who needs a vehicle. I have rarely been so impressed.

At the risk of driving more people to this location -- and reducing the supply of cars available to me -- I have to give a shout out to the team at Dovercourt Enterprise. Zach, Glen, Mike, and all the guys behind the scenes have this place running like a well-oiled machine. I've rented here a few dozen times over the last year, and the customer service is consistently outstanding. I'm moving this summer to within walking distance of discount, thrifty, and budget, but I'm keeping my business at Dovercourt Enterprise.

Normally I have to deal with Avis through work and they're quite a pain to deal with. For my vacation I chose this location of Enterprise and everything went smoothly. Very helpful and competent staff. The vehicle type I requested was available (see Avis? It's not hard). The parking is a little tight here but aside from that I look forward to renting a vehicle from here again. These guys also dealt with me and my insurance company when my car was hit and totaled in 2012. Super helpful then, and still are.

Had a pretty good experience. But when asked if i wanted an up grade to an suv, i was pretty disappointed. The vehicle had not been washed or vaccummed and had half a tank a gas. Im use to a clean car with a full tank. The sales person failed to mention that,plus the extra 15 dollars for the upgrade, that the insurance would be more expensive also. I also have a suspicion that they didnt have the car i had originally booked so they offered the upgrade.

Staff is always super friendly and the location is very convenient if you're in the neighborhood. The fleet is in good to excellent condition and there's none of the sleazy, fine print shenanigans that you sometimes get with discount outfits. I rent here frequently and have not had a single bad experience. The one drawback to this location is that it's hours are more limited than the larger bureaus but it's a terrific asset for the neighborhood.

The customer service of this place is exceptional. The rates of enterprise rentals are also very affordable and the cars are super clean and well maintained. From my first time renting with them a few weeks ago I was very happy with my experience, I came about an hour early and was able to fill out paperwork and get my rental within 15 mins. I look forward to continuing to use enterprise at this location until I get my first car next year

I was treated so well by these guys that I thought it was very necessary for me to come on here and write a quick review. All other car rental places around me were quite unreasonable. After visiting this Enterprise, I was very happy to know that some car rental places are honest. They set me up without issue. Car was in good condition. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. Just go in and talk to them and they'll set you up!

Enterprise might as well close 947 Dovercourt location down, their customer service skills lack 110%. I approached them about lack of service and then someone came out of office and asked Myself and my Son to leave...there's the door! I immediately called my Insurance to advise them how their Vendor treats their customers and it's a good way to lose Customers in the future. So bottom line don't use this location.

Prean and his team were absolutely excellent to deal with and went above and beyond to ensure that my insurance company had all of the information they needed while my vehicle was in the shop. He showed up the same day that a rental was requested and was easy to deal with the entire way through. Not to mention, every person I dealt with there was incredibly kind and professional. Cannot recommend enough!

They asked me for a $200 deposit which I didn't have early on a Monday morning, but didn't have to pay it because they couldn't get hold of my insurance adjuster. Sarah gave me a small economy car and was generous with the gas that was already in it. I had it from Monday to Friday, drove it not more than 40 km and paid nothing when I returned it in a major rainstorm! Great service all around.

Want scumbags to rip you off and over charge you, well you found it. Worst enterprise serive I have ever had and after of renting probably about 50 plus times, I will never give these scumbags my business again. Filth vehicle, not the one I reserved, charged me more and ripped me off by charging me a extra day yayyayayyayayya corporations...... and super low life staff btw!

Rented a truck from here for the May 24 weekend with my girlfriend to drive up to my mom's place. Service was quick, courteous, flexible and the pricing very honest. I paid exactly what it had said on the reservation, got an upgrade on the vehicle, and when were running late they even allowed us a bit of leeway. Would 100% recommend. Thanks guys!

Still waiting for them to give me back my $300 I've talk to head office this office over a year now no cheque in the mail feel like I got robbed by enterprise and they had given me the rental through insurance for an accident while my vehicle was in the shop that was the down-payment ridiculous and at this location as well

Rented a car from them in July. They were friendly and professional. They did not have what I needed but they called around and found one. They delivered it clean, on time with a smile. They walked me around the vehicle and oriented me to their process. Cannot say enough good about my experience with the excellent crew.

If you're in west end, this is your go-to car rental place-- very close to Bloor Street (Ossington and Dufferin stations). Highly recommended.

Insurance company covered a rental car for me while mine is in body shop. Excellent pick-up and drop-off service with super friendly and sweet associates. The car is in excellent condition, clean and new. This is the first time I am with Enterprise and the experience was much better than my expectations!! Great job!

The service at the dovercourt location is the worst i have ever seen. I have rented many cars in my lifetime and i have never been treated so rudely in my life. I also have rented from enterprise at least 20 times and have never had a bad experience. Stay far away from this location the staff is pure poison

Received an initial call the day before and I indicated that I would arrive earlier than 12 on a Saturday. I show up a little under 2 hours early and was asked to wait for another hour when no one was there. Would've appreciated enterprise to be more specific the day before. Terrible customer service.

The staff at the office asked me to check things online/phone. They didn't even listen to my query. I wonder what the stores are actually for, if everything is done over the call or online. It might be only in my case, but my overall experience at the office was not that great.

Well priced, and easy pickup in the morning (especially if you booked online). Trying to drop-off a car at the end of the day can be a bit tricky because the lot is very full, but once it is parked, it's easy to just drop the keys into the safe storage box and be on your way.

This place is a joke only care about money not the customer. Location didn't have vehicle another location did but refused to pick me up and to get the vehicle because I was closer to the one that didn't have a vehicle. Very expensive not worth it many others to choose from

The staff are really friendly and eager to get you in and out of the space. The challenge with the site is the challenge in finding parking. The site has few spots and the road is fairly full and busy. This can make it challenging to return a car to the property itself.

i have been renting vehicles from the Dovercourt location and the staff its very friendly and helpful, i will like to mention the location manager Torie, she is amazing, she is always smiling, she makes things happen.

The service is great and very accessible if you live in the Dufferin or Ossington area. It can sometimes be difficult to park your car so be prepared you may have to park your rental on the street during off hours.

Great Service! Canceled a Hertz reservation to take advantage of a better deal here a week before my travel date. Got a brand new vehicle for trip. Pick ups on Sat AM are busy. Wish they were open on Sunday.

I have been renting cars for work and they are very accommodating with day before requests. The cars are always nice. The only issue I have is that they only use swipe credit card for payment.

They thought my driver's license was fake...lol. So I had to leave and come all the way back on foot. When I got back they had closed 15 minutes early and I was unable to get my rental car

You cannot beat the customer service here. You can tell the employees are happy to be working here. Friendly, fast, efficient. The manager even righted a wrong made at another location.

Worst credit card system ever. If you get declined once they can't swipe the same card again for 24 hours. Completely ruined my travel plans, will not be returning here in the future.

Conviniently located, just 5 min walking from Ossington station. Usually they don't have great discounts, but it happens sometimes. It looks small but I think they have a lot of cars
