My review is a little late but the experience I had here still has left me scarred. RENTER BEWARE! I have rented several cars through my company, my company books these cars for me, never has any asked me to verify I work for the company, my company books the service. The car I rented service sticker said it was due at 35k, when I had the car it was at 67k, when I returned the car the lady said one of the dents (there were many) were not notated in the system. Well I asked to have the manager call me when he got in because all of them should have been. He never called and they were going to file a claim against my company. I went up there to speak to the manager and he 1.) tried to show me a picture already zoomed in of a dent that is not the same dent the lady told me about, 2.) when I asked to see the car (5 days after I returned it, since I couldn’t tell exactly if I was even looking at the car I rented) he said it was in the shop because the engine light came on and it started smoking so they had to take it a part to see if the dent caused that. I had the car less than 24 hours, when I returned it the lady didn’t mention a light nor was it smoking nor did she mention it when I spoke to her the following day looking for the manager. I believe they were just trying to take advantage of the fact that my company would pay for the banged up, smoked in car that they rented to me. I have never had such a terrible experience and I have had some interesting ones renting cars as often as I do BUT this took the cake. I’ve been renting from Avis and Budget now. They can keep my reward points because this location is TRASH!

Stole my Wallet and Gave Me a Car with Smoke. My family and I needed a car rental as ours was being fixed across the parking lot in Gerber Collision. Right off the bat, they said that the sedan that they were holding for us was still in the shop getting its tire replaced. Obviously it wasn’t held for me if it was still in the shop. Therefore, they gave us an SUV but it was smoked in. Black cigarette soot stained the fabric ceiling and mirror. The stench was horrendous; we cracked the windows for the 2 days we had the car. We had to take the car because we needed a car and were too busy to trade it in for the sedan. After two days, they called us up to bring in the car because our car was ready from Gerber. I accidentally left my wallet in the console between the passenger and driver seat. I realized when I was 7 minutes away, so I called Enterprise. I explicitly gave them the location and quality of the wallet, and they insisted it was not there. I arrived and checked the car myself. It was not there even though I know without any doubt it was suppose to be there. Therefore, someone stole the wallet and isn’t confessing. I do not have the wallet. I definitely put it in the console, and I am willing to bet my life that I did so. Thank you Enterprise for stealing my IDs and $100 right before I am about to have major spinal surgery. I will continue to call the next few days and will take this review down until this issue of theft is resolved.

Unfortunately, this time around I did not experience the usual professionalism of an Enterprise staff. Although I called the local number for the location nearest my home, I was speaking to an operator at the national switchboard. She explained that I could use the key drop box when returning my car, since my tight schedule had me at work an hour before they opened on return day. I made the reservation. When I picked up the car, however, the representative told me that none of the New Orleans locations have drop boxes - none - and that he could not be responsible for what the operators are trained to say. I had hoped he could come up with a solution. I called Customer service from the road to see what they could do since my rental was predicated on an early return. The customer service rep actually got snippy as I explained that I had been told wrongly about the before-hours option, again implying that it wasn't her fault. She told me several times the only way to handle this was to go in person to the location and add a family member as a driver so they could return it when the branch opened, regardless of the fact I said I was on the road to Houston. Ultimately, a call the next day got my mother on as a driver and she had to get to work late to go in and return my car.

I am required to use Enterprise for my work travel. I have never been disappointed. The staff are incredibly professional and accommodating. I have used Enterprise for at least 6-7 years now. My current site is the location on Carrollton and Tulane - excellent service. Previously, I used the Canal street location and that service was wonderful too. I hear Tiffany has gone there now - so I am sure it must still be great. Besides I love the fact that they hire young professionals just starting out in their careers and seem to offer growth opportunities for high quality team members - i.e. the guy who used to wash cars and drive to pick people up is now a rental agent. Tip for quick service: Be there when they first open the door in the morning or right before closing at 6 PM to avoid waiting. When using Canal Street, really be first in the door. Many tourists and locals use this location and you can get delayed by people needing maps to Cajun country or just folks w/o reservations who aren't frequent users filling out paperwork, etc... To whom it may concern, my last rental was due to short notice trip. I reserved a van online for pickup at the 4001 Carrollton Avenue location due to mechanical problems with my vehicle.. Upon arrival, I was greeted with the utmost respect by Mr. Jamal Smith. The Carrollton Avenue location provided me with the van I required to transport my son to college. The vehicle was awesome with no problems. In the past, I rented vehicles at the Armstrong International Airport way out of my way thinking I was getting better service. The service provided by Mr. Jamal, Joshua, Daren White and one more employee who transported me back home was outstanding. Thanks to all of you for making college & family dreams come true. In the future, all of my reservation will be made through the Carrollton location where the service was hassle free, outstanding and top notch. Thank you Debbie Meyers

I reviewed this location 8 months ago and gave it two Stars. I am changing my review after my experience on Thursday. I'm calling this 4.5 stars cause I really want this to be a consistent experience, but they knocked it out of the park. There has definitely been a change at this location. I felt as if my reservation was truly respected. Everything was on point. Friendly service picking me up and bringing me to the office. Efficient and expedicious process having my reservation and delivery of the vehicle. A great vehicle that I really enjoyed. Better than I expected. I'm glad I didn't give up on this location and obviously Enterprise understood that they needed to make improvements. Well they did. It's my neughborhood go to for a rental. Thank you!!

Had to return my rental car twice. With both instances after a day or so their was a strong smell of smoke. No one in my family smokes and our sense of smell is very sensitive. After our 3rd time going, they finally got it right, they gave us a car with leather seats that smelled great! This is the second time we have had isdues with Enterprise inability to deliver clean transportation. Enterprise has been our company of choice for more than 15 years and we typically receive 5 star service from their organization, however because these situations robbed us of so much of our very limited time we giving the brand 3 stars. Hoping this is not a new trend for Enterprise and that they implement a better QC for their cleaning process.

2 stars is all the deserve! They never have economy cars and wait till you get there to tell you the staff is rude and tells you how this has to be and that has to be and honestly you’d be lucky to get a car even when you reserve one! My Drivers License was bent and the worker told me in the next few days the will not take it. To be honest I think he had issues with a black person. I see why they ask you more than one time if you took everything out the car because I left something in there went back 30 minutes later and it was no where to be found! I promise you I left it in there. So check check and recheck because if you leave it and they gonna keep it!

Brianna and Derrell could not have been more helpful. They got us in and out quickly and with an upbeat attitude at 7:30am! The car itself was in excellent condition, but the first few minutes had an unusual smell, maybe a humid cloth had been used. It wasn’t a huge problem. We opened the windows for a few minutes and it went away. We are in New Orleans, so humidity is ever present. We returned the car after hours and that was also very easy! I've been renting from this particular location of Enterprise Rent-A-Car for many years, and have generally always had a great experience. The location is very convenient, not only to my house, but also to my normal car repair garage. I can usually have Enterprise pick me up from the garage and come right over to get into my rental, as I did this last time. When the car was repaired, Enterprise was happy to drop me off to get my car. The staff is always courteous and professional, and they definitely earn their 5 stars every time.

Kelsey and his staff at this location are great! I rented a vehicle from this location from 10/20 - 10/23. Upon arrival, I was immediately informed of a logistical error regarding the inventory of vehicles available. Instead of making excuses, Kelsey immediately began locating a vehicle for my reservation and found one for me to use within minutes. Kelsey displayed a high standard of professionalism and customer service that is rarely seen in today’s world. I will definitely rent from this location again.

Enterprise is my go-to place when I need to rent a car. I've been using them for a little over 5 years now. Customer service is always great. Staff members are courteous, knowledgeable, professional and well groomed. I like that they make an effort to address you by your name. It's a nice touch. The cars are always clean, top of the line and in good driving condition. Even though their rates are not always the lowest, I'd definitely recommend them. They make renting and returning a car an easy process.

They fault you for things your friends or family members have done wrong. My daughter was told she could not get a car from them because my niece old money. Even though my daughter had never rented from enterprise before she was denied. She spoke with the branch manager and the manager of that area and was denied. My daughter had to go to another Thank God she was able to get help elsewhere. Then their attitudes are very unpleasant when explaining things that you don't agree with.

The staff is outstanding! They are very professional and friendly. They treat customers with respect and sincerity. I watched as a customer was giving the wrong information and the young was trying her hardest to explain it to him and kept her voice and manners very professional. I've rented from this location three times and highly recommend this staff needs a raise or at least some sort of accolades. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars.

I went here for my first time ever renting a vehicle. My car was going to be in the shop for almost two weeks. It was so fast and easy. I was in and out in under 10 minutes. They gave me a 2019 Nissan Armada. I loved the car. They where very nice and helpful. Answered all of my questions and I had a lot of them. They didn't get annoyed or anything. Great experience. I highly recommend them. You really can't beat the amazing customer service.

This enterprise is the best! They have outstanding customer service! They're compassionate... I was dealing with an insurance company nightmare after just getting in a MVA in a new car, the insurance company wouldn't help me, I was NOT in good hands.. *cough cough* This enterprise was my only lifeline after everything that happened to me that month.. Did not get the size car that I requested. I requested a smaller car instead I got a huge car but I was not comfortable driving. I returned it in a couple of days. Also, the car reeked of smoke when I picked it up. However, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I think Enterprise gave me a bigger car than I wanted because I had insurance reimbursement. That is the third time Enterprise gave me a big car when I requested smaller.

My service was AMAZING . The 2023 highlander was awesome better driving experience than I thought . I had an issue with my rental no problem in and out! When I turned my car in they was so NICE they refunded my deposit . I’m a forever loyal customer of this ENTERPRISE office on Carrollton , they truly care about they customers. A great experience. I had to get three different rentals from them in a span of two weeks and each one was with a different person behind the counter. They ranged from Assistant Manager to Trainee and everyone was professional and courteous. It made me not feel the time without my van was that bad. Kudos to this location on Carrollton. Thank yall.

It's true what they say, Enterprise customer service are the best. They are friendly and easy to talk to, not to mention very considerate about things that can possibly happen during your rental period. The vehicles are sparkly clean every time and they don't mind if it gets a little dirty upon drop off. I would give them an 11 out of 10.

Enterprise must have ALL vehicle types ready for walk-in rentals. I had to send my truck to the shop and so a larger rental vehicle best suits my needs. My time got wasted because of how slow and not thorough the process is to finding me a suitable vehicle. Now I have to waste my resources to find another center for the right vehicle.
