I booked a full set for myself and a mani for my daughter. Planned to be there an hour. Upon arrival was offered a free pedicure for 3.5 year old daughter due to an overbooking situation. An appt that should have lasted an hour lasted 3. My artist got up at least 6xs during my appt to assist other clients. My daughter and I were put on the back burner during our entire appointments. (And charged for the "free" pedicure.) I spent 45 minutes being worked on and the legit rest of the time waiting. This was my first appt at P.Brown and I feel like the staff were kind and likable, however I feel like my daughter and I were treated as second class customers. My nails turned out pretty nice, with only three minor issues that I am sure are due to trying to get done, however, Mo stated she could tell I was a picker and gave me some tips for not picking, but then left two pretty textured spots of gummy that I am already having trouble not messing with. I paid a good bit of money of money and feel like I tipped very well for less than an excellent result and questionable service. I will definitely hesitate before going back. It was not a spa like experience for me, thats for sure.

BLACK OWNED BUSINESS ALERT!!!! So yesterday I visited a black owned spa (the only one in Nashville) called Esthetics by P. Brown. I will definitely continue to do business there and support my fellow sister. Not only were my services great, but I was made to feel extremely comfortable and special ( and they didn’t even know it was my birthday until the end). Porsche Brown almost had ya girl in tears because she was so sweet and we both have similar aspirations in the medical field and both have experienced the same coldness when you say you would like to specialize in minority healthcare to help OUR community. She KNOWS her stuff y’all! Very educated and genuinely cares about skin and holistic health, but especially the skin and health of African Americans. Please support her business! You will not be disappointed! Oh yea, and she is from West Helena, Arkansas! So she is basically fam!

The entire place was clean with the smell of honey. My daughter and I were greeted with warm eyes and a temp check. I booked the lash extension service but Portia saw my lashes and recommended a lash lift. She, the massage chair and the music were amazing. She educated both my daughter and I on the process of the lift and well as the upkeep. By the time we left she had fit my daughter in who didn’t have an appointment, waxed our eyebrows and Moe, washed, styled and educated my daughter on her natural hair. Everything about the services we received was amazing. I would recommended everyone trying anyone of the services.

My friends and I took a girls trip to Nashville and Esthetics by P. Brown Day Spa was a MUST SEE FOR US! This is a full service spa! They do it all and everything my friends and I had was AMAZING! It was my first time getting a Yoni Steam and the experience from Esthetics by P. Brown Day Spa set the bar high for any spa I visit the next time I want one closer to home. Anytime I'm in Nashville, I'm definitely going back! I can't say enough about this business! I was so pleased. Booking was easy. Communication from the staff was STELLAR! If I could rate it 10 stars, I would!

Portia met me at the door with a smile, a warm welcome and a "Hello, Beautiful!" She made me feel right at home and pampered already. Monique greeted me with a smile and a hug. These 2 women brightened my day. This establishment is run very professionally and decorated beautifully. Monique did a GREAT job with my eyelash lift and tint! These women are beautiful -- inside and out! They really care about their customers. I look forward to going back, and will definitely be referring people.

Very sweet staff, unfortunately, for the price of the service vs the products used, did not add up. Products used are off the shelf from your local grocery store. At that price point, I expected hairstylist to have a more in depth certification, however, her experience is from a chain hair salon. Staff did not have all tools necessary to provide me with service. Owner did compensate me without asking, which was very sweet and professional. Good atmosphere and great staff.

Update: very prompt and warm response from owner and her team. She explained what was going on which I appreciated and everything was quickly resolved. This still is the spa I would recommend to anyone looking for a quality experience. I’ve had great experiences here in the past but recently had some communication delays. However, it was a unique dilemma that the spa is working on and will likely not be an ongoing issue. Thank you again for everything!

It was one of the best experiences I’ve had. Everyone was friendly and you could tell they take pride in what they do. Shatorria was very informative. I will definitely be back. Update 4 months later: I originally learned about this business through Groupon. I had a three part package (was only able to use 2 parts due to cancellation). It was honestly the most relaxing experience ever and my skin looks amazing. I would do it again!

Even in the midst of moving, the staff was still professional and courteous! Always a treat when ever I go and it's just a great time. I been coming here for about 6 weeks and I love it! I first came with a Groupon for teeth whitening and I have had their facials, lashes, waxing and the cavi lipo. I love everything about it. Porche and Mo are so sweet and down to earth. I have always had relaxing wonderful experiences. They are affordable in the services they offer and very knowledgeable. If you are on the fence I highly recommend.

Amazing, personalized experience. I received a foot facial from the esthetician Nicey there. She made sure I was completely comfortable and took her time with every step of the service. I had my foot facial a couple weeks ago and my feet still feel so soft and look good too. The unique products crafted by the owner make each service that much better. A great intimate place to relax and recharge.

Walking into Esthetics is like walking into a big hug. The ladies at this place make you feel so loved and welcome as soon as you walk in. I got my eyebrows threaded by Porsche who was super receptive to what I wanted the shape to look like, and also had me laughing the whole time. Wonderful experience! Monique shared some great tips for maintaining healthy hair that no other stylist has ever bothered to teach! She was very laid back and actually asks questions and encourages you to trim regularly and don’t put any oils in your hair that you wouldn’t eat! My hair straightening experience was delightful!
