This was an awesome first time spa experience for me! I got the body balance massage with reflexology, soothe + Hydrate facial, and the meditative mood soak with the VIP experience which included wonderful tropical snacks and sparkling wine. The essential oils were relaxing and the music was quite pleasing. Emily helped with my facial and she was very knowledgable and I would recommend her to anyone who wants their skin in tip top shape! Overall my spa experience was very relaxing and exactly what I needed. The reason I am giving this 4 starsinstead of 5 stars is that I think it would have been helpful if the staff recommended the proper order of services to me originally instead of me figuring it out afterwards. I started with the facial, then got a massage, then a scrub. Additionally I think it would make a hugedifference if they added soft close cabinets as I heard a lot slamming noises during my massage which took me out of a relaxed state. These are nit picks but when paying a few hundred dollars for services I thought they are worth noting. I still had a great experience and have included photos of some of the goodies I received. I would come back for sure!
Came here for a massage and facial with a friend on vacation (we were staying at the hotel it's located in). I wanted a relaxing facial and massage. The spa itself is nice. Front desk staff was lovely and they have robes and slippers for use. They also give you champagne, tea, and water. The waiting area is relaxing. However, I wrote on my intake sheet that I did NOT want my lower back massaged. I explained this to the masseuse and she asked me why and I explained that it's a sensitive area and I just don't prefer it but she kept trying to talk me into it. And finally I was like, please just don't touch it and she couldn't seem to let it go. She then offered to do hot stones and I was just like whatever ok, put hot stones on it but instead she violently massaged it with hot stones. The massage itself was also very rough and fast, not relaxing at all. I then moved on to my facial which was fine. I paid almost $400 for this experience and I don't think it's worth it at all. I was very disappointed in this trip. Would not return.
My friend and I came to woodhouse day spa while on vacation with our husband! Our first impression was that the place was amazing and had a nice calming atmosphere. I got a deep tissue massage by Tatiana and it was truly the best massage of my life!! She really worked on my trouble spots and worked out a lot of knots that I had. I then had a facial by Emily( I believe I can’t remember her name for sure!) this was also an awesome experience. She walked me through what to expect and it was above and beyond what I expected. The Mimosa‘s were a great treat while we waited for our massages. When we come back to Nashville I will 100% be coming back here. I will also be checking to see if they have one locally to me! This was such a nice treat for a mama-to-be ( my friend) and an exhausted mama of two (myself!) Thank you Woodhouse for providing us with such an relaxing and recharging experience !!
The spa overall is lovely. Unfortunately, as a new mom who decided to treat herself to a massage, I was disappointed. First, I waited 15 min for the complementary valet. I would have parked myself but I didn’t want to be late already after waiting so long. I signed up for a deep tissue massage. The masseuse told me the hot stones would be a great compliment to help open up the muscles, as I have a lot of knots in my back from lifting my little one. The massage started 6 minutes late (and ended 6 min early), very little work on my knots was performed, just a lot of rock rubbing (which was an extra fee I agreed to) which felt great, but did not provide any relief. It is hard justifying spending so much money in a highly rated spa when my back still hurt when I got up to go home. I know these things can take multiple sessions, but overall, overcharged and under delivered.
I was super excited for a service called Calming Retreat on my birthday, which includes 7 different services. Two hours before my appointment, the spa reached out to tell me that the therapist had an emergency and couldn't do it, so they needed to cancel; then they found someone but changed the time of my appointment. When I arrived, all lockers were taken, so I had to change in a small bathroom stall and shove my items in a little box. The services I paid for were not offered: I did not receive several of the 7 services outlined, and the dry brushing literally felt like I was being skinned alive. I paid for cupping, but it was clear the woman had never performed it and so I didn't receive the service I paid for. It was extremely expensive and while they offered a small discount, this was not the caliber of spa service for the price point. Would not recommend!
I had an amazing deep tissue massage with Alex and facial with Erica. Alex really listened and targeted the areas I needed. I had originally booked a specific facial, and Erica looked at my skin and recommended a switch based on how dry I was. She customized what I needed and was really knowledgeable. The spa was relaxing and quiet, and they had robes and slippers for you to relax in. The changing room was a little tight, but there weren’t many others in there when I arrived. I would absolutely return! Worth every penny.
If I could give it 0 stars I would. I checked in 15 minutes before my appointment. The attendant confirmed that I had a deep tissue massage with Jason. I got ready and waited in the relaxation room—for over 90 minutes. No one checked on me. I finally flagged down an attendant and asked about the delay. The original attendant came back and told me Jason had the day off, and they were totally booked for the day. Absolutely atrocious customer service.
One of the best spas in Nashville! There's ample space for relaxing, un/dressing, and receiving services. The changing area has a private restroom and shower. The products smell amazing and compliment the cozy, upscale feel. The staff are accommodating, kind, skilled professionals. Janay is the best massage therapist/yoga instructor. Valet parking is validated at checkout. Woodhouse Spa is an oasis in Nashville's midtown...I love this place!
Took my wife for a spa package and I went ahead and got a massage and facial. It was the best deep tissue massage I’ve ever had. I’m a former athlete and get pretty bad flare ups in my back and they were all worked out. My wife absolutely loved her package and the attention they paid her. Would highly recommend. Looking forward to the new location they are opening in my hometown very soon.
An incredible experience. The staff was kind and the place was absolutely breathtaking and relaxing. It’s been a couple of years since I’ve received a massage and I can honestly say this experience was truly memorable. The staff the nice - the massage was awesome and I never felt uncomfortable once and I hope to visit again very soon. Highly recommend!!!
Go here now! I've never fallen asleep during a massage and I did here! I never had to ask for more champagne and everyone was safe and personable. The hotel is super swanky too! Make it a date night weekend if you're game! UPDATE: I'm booked out every three months for a massage and facial! It's still the bomb, self-care treat! Treat yourself!
I booked a deep tissue massage today as a birthday gift & although they are pretty pricey, it was well worth it. I had a lovely experience, the place is super clean & the masseuse was amazing. He applied pressure and it was exactly what I paid for. They offer valet parking and they have mimosas! I think I have found my new home …
I sent my wife for an afternoon at the spa and she thoroughly enjoyed all of her treatments. I then came in for a deep tissue and was absolutely impressed by the attentiveness and the strength of my massage therapist. The atmosphere is quiet and very relaxing. Certainly a pricey afternoon but worth every dollar! We will be back.
Go early before your appointment to enjoy the whole experience! I felt pampered, comfortable, and relaxed. Wonderful atmosphere. Then you have a choice of Male or Female massage therapists. Very skilled. Afterwards, relax some more in the lounge before returning to the dressing room!
Doubt I will return to this spa. Filled out form requested light to medium. The technician continued to perform deep tissue and then used hot (not warm) rocks with deep tissue movement. Left hurting worse than arrived and several bruises on my back. Very disappointed.
If you and looking for an amazing spa day, they are the place! 10/10 recommendations! Jason was my massage therapist and he was the best! Emily did my facial and she was awesome and very knowledgeable! I will definitely be returning!
Absolutely fantastic time. The massage and treatments were wonderful, the view was great, and the room was nice and cozy. They have a cool texture theme on the walls everywhere which was a good touch to the atmosphere.
Nice day spa that actually had robes, lounge, and shower facilities. My massage was enjoyable and I left the place feeling relaxed. Prices are reasonable for a one-hour massage, but seem pricey for other services.
Amazing spa experience. Staff is very professional. Chose this spa without knowing much about the place and was beyond happy with the experience. I definitely recommend booking here. Beautiful decor as well.
My therapist was the best I ever had. He listened to what t said about the areas that needed more attention and worked them exceptionally well. I would definitely book another appointment with him!
I had an absolute amazing experience! I received the body wrap and illuminate facial ✨ It was very, very relaxing! I need to go every month! Thank you, Emily and the Woodhouse Spa team!
I love it, warm plush robe for the relaxation room with snacks and mimosas to the most calming massage I’ve ever had. The room and bed was warm to perfection I love every bit of it
Making appointmentsI by phone, The receptionist was so patient and helpful . Checkin and check out was easy pleasant and efficient . Katie did a great job with the scrub.
It was a great experience from start to finish. Pampered with mimosas and chocolate in our private relaxation room and the massage with hot stone therapy was superb.
Loved!!! This place is perfect! It's like a little hidden gem, tucked inside this cool hotel. The saff and everyone there were so sweet! Best birthday gift ever!!
Amazing experience! My husband and I went there for a relaxing day off. The whole setting is so beautiful and calming. I would recommend this to anyone!
Best massage I’ve ever had! A class act from the moment you walk in until you leave. If I ever go back to Nashville, I will be stopping by again.
Best massage ever hands down! Super professional and very clean. The staff was amazing! Can’t wait to book another massage.
Beautiful Spa, The staff is wonderful. Parking, Complimentary Drinks. Perfect for your next spa day! I highly recommend.
Front desk was very nice. Massage therapist was okay nothing special at all. Slippers were the same as prison slippers.
