Europcar Albion has hidden cost!! beware, and the worst car hiring experience that I've encountered. I hired a HINO 300 4.2M AUTO (INC.HYDRAULIC LIFT) Truck for 4hours on a Tuesday. The initial cost was $84.55 because I booked it online. Then when it came to picking up the truck, I had to pay another $42 for the extra cover to drop the excess to $900 because I was made aware that if I hadn't that I would be liable for $5000 if there was even a minor scratch on the vehicle. I returned the vehicle with only 1 bar of diesel fuel missing and perfect condition, I was charged a whopping extra $50 dollars on top of my initial costing bring the total to $176.55 for 4hour and only 55 km travel. This is place is not honest be aware!

The good - cars are nice and updated, speedy checkout. The bad - they don’t send booking confirmations, they don’t communicate well, they will charge you extra without any communication. We booked a vehicle, no email confirmation and couldn’t remember if we had booked from 9 or 10 so rocked up just before 9. Nothing said by staff at europcar about this. Got estimated charges invoice. Got the car. It wasn’t until going over the invoice that we noticed they had charged us for an extra 24 hours due to the car being picked up an hour early. Raised this with manager and they said they would look into it. Subsequent emails they thing this behaviour is fine and are sticking by these charges. Anyway buyer beware.

If I could give no stars on this I would. I organised a hire car as my office's company car needed a service. Called Europcar and they informed me there will be a car waiting for me to pick up at 8.30 am on the 8th of November 2018. I then organised for my company car to be at the mechanic at 8 am that same morning. I then get a call after dropping of the company car to be told in actual fact there is no car for us to hire at all. This could not have been more or an inconvenience for our business. Being called 20 Mins before I was due to pick up the hire car is just ridiculous not to mention extremely inconvenient. DON'T EVEN WASTE YOUR TIME ON THIS COMPANY. GO ELSE WHERE

They donot even deserve 1 star . NEVER TAKE A CAR RENTAL FROM THEM. They do false damage claims. And when you dispute it they take money from you account without informing you . They never solve the dispute and never came up with a resolution. And just charged me the money. Their claims team never got back to me on resolution. I had even paid extra for insurence and my deposit or security bond also never came back . My dispute was not sorted yet. I asked them to even give me a complaints team but no one reverted back.i really this this is unfair.

The Ballarat road Albion rental is very misleading with their prices I've contacted them before heading to their office they've not given me any information about their payment of no cash and sudden cards different price range they're waste of time and I'm 24 I selected online my age the rental price was $445 but as i get there price went up to $500_600 just cos im young They need to be straight with their pricing.or just put the workers in the bin useless very helpless For a star

Its 21 century which technologies time and easy and comfortable especially for customers and businesses but Europecar Doesn't have that and Everyone doesn't caring physical card get payed by phone payed by phone . I think customers like they have to go back get the physical card which is very disappointment make customers suffer and cost me money again for uber and even they don't have second option for customers

This place is unattended most of the time. Today is my second day visiting the place and both the days I couldn't find anyone. They don't pick up the call too. How can a business run this way!!Made an appointment at 11am to pick up the car, upon reaching the place on time there was no one. Had to wait in the rain for 30mins for someone to turn up. Very unprofessional..

Booked for a rental car and called me literally 15 mins before pick up to say that they don’t have a car available. Now I have to scramble around calling around to see if I can rent a car because the company was incompetent and promised something they could not deliver. Never ever renting from them nor would I suggest anyone from my end.

We had such a positive experience with Europcar (Albion branch) with one of the most stressful times of our lives. They made life so much easier, helped with all my questions and the trucks were beautiful to drive. Thank you so much, will be using and recommending you in the future. Thank you & Merry Christmas.

RENT FROM ELSEWHERE FALSE DAMAGE CLAIMS Absolutely the most unprofessional people and rude. Will take your bookings etc. Will hang up on you. I'm am disgusted at service. I don't believe people should be sacked but in this case if you want your business to strive you need to sack idiots who you have as staff.

We have been over charged for the insurance excess. The Albion branch manager was rude, showed no desire to resolve our concerns and seemed somewhat bored with the entire conversation. This is not a good reflection on the Europcar company. We returned the car before the due date and we were penalised.

I've had excellent customer service experience at Europcar Albion; The staff I dealt with (Malik) been very helpful, friendly, patient and very well looked after, also the manager (Mohammad)been very helpful and friendly. I strongly recommend, Albion branch... Thank you guys

Insurance company booked a car for me. When I arrived at 3pm as arranged the office was closed. Call centre useless. Told me that office closed at 3pm and I should have come earlier not at the time the booking was made for. Hertz in Altona are more professional in every way.

Be careful of the itemised cost as the staff there does not brief you explicitly about it. They said $19 a day to bring my excess to $0, then later when returning the vehicle I learned it was $13 and they charged for road side assistance for $6 a day which I didn't need.

Got hired car from insurance, returned the car and they noted defected damage car when they had to get it clean, getting charge heaps of money, steam cleaning, admin fee, loss of use all these charges. STAY AWAY from this company if you would like to avoid these cost.

Not a positive experience at all. The car I was given was filthy, it had dirt marks all over the windshield and interior, candy wrappers and an unpleasant odour. It didn’t seem like they cleaned it prior to my hire which I booked a month in advance.

Absolute rip off, avoid at all cost. Overcharged, and refused to refund the amount, despite providing evidence of the discrepancy. Euro car didn't bother doing anything and this branch didn't bother either.

Friendly service. Booked a car the same day. Decided to change the car and the customer rep was super helpful. Transparent and honest and helpful with Melboune attractions. Highly recommend.

I would stay away from Europcar they rip you off and steal your money i would never go to them again if anything i would pay 10 times more to go somewhere else

I wish I could give them zero. I found them deceitful, as they double dipped charging my insurance and me both for the same six hours. Very deceitful.
