Ewing Electric has become our personal and HOA go-to for electrical needs. We had a punchlist of ~20 electrical things to be done around our house and obtained quotes from multiple companies. What set Ewing apart was AJ's workmanship and attention to details - he was here for 4 hours mapping out all of the work to provide the most realistic estimate possible. The work came out as planned and there were no unpleasant surprises (ex. I don't repair the drywall I had to cut). AJ helped us with lighting, grounding the house, replacing our electrical panel, and outlet/switch replacement. Since then, we have used AJ for several items for the HOA - including a rewiring of the clubhouse, grounding, replacing of neighborhood entrance lights, fixing the parking lot photocells and light timers, replacing fluorescent lights with LED strip lights. Most recently, we needed to replace our personal electric cooktop stove and AJ was able to finish the project in one day -- which unknowingly included reaching out to a HVAC contractor to help with the exhaust venting. We highly recommend AJ, and plan to use him for our future needs.

After having one of those highly advertised companies come out and pay over $400 to tell us the repairs would be $4000, we decided to try Ewing. The technician AJ was very thorough and told us exactly what he was doing during the process. He investigated the issue until he found the problem. This involved going under the house and into our attic. Once he figured out the issue(s) he set to make the repair. It took almost 3 hours. But, as promised he charged the requisite fee for our level of complaint. He didn’t try to up the charge or sell us additional services. We have an older home and know it will eventually need required. AJ gave us a quote for the work and options for cost effective alternatives. We were really pleased with his knowledge and professionalism. Will definitely refer Ewing to friends and family.

We had a tree fall on our property which had taken out our electrical, pulled our riser and cuased a significant outage. I was put in touch with AJ who gave me a call around 2pm, and was at the property that day to give me an estimate- which was very fair. The next day, work was completed, permit was approved, and we were just waiting on Duke to reconnect the lines (which, don't get me started on that delay, but not in our control) AJ was great to work with, gave us updates along the way, and took the lead in communicating with my tenant as we do rent this out. He and the team at Ewing really helped turn the uncertainty around- and I will be recommending their services going forward.

We had an emergency. We'd lost power to part of our house from a short somewhere along a complex line. When I called in, I was told that because we had an emergency, they'd send someone that day. Scott and his assistant showed up on time, were clear in their deliverables and costs, and worked for three hours until they were satisfied that the problem was corrected. Additionally, because of the global pandemic, they each wore masks, gloves, and of course shoe covers. Very professional. Will use again and highly recommend.

Scott from Ewing electric is very thorough and creative for lighting solutions. My project was a bit cumbersome since my building was built in 1920, and there is a plaster ceilings. The job was knocked out in one day and looks incredible. He installed two new fixtures where no junction boxes existed, and installed new smart switches. I could not be more pleased with the work and the attention to detail. Thank you!

The service was fine, but the cost was ridiculous. The job took 20 minutes. The tech walked around a 400 sqft space testing outlets, removed the covers from the electric panel and meter, determined I wasn't getting enough voltage, and told me to call the power company. I was told $69, he ran my card, then sent the invoice and receipt. My first glance at the invoice I just paid showed $301 and change. Ridiculous

Scott is very nice to work with. He gave clear cut information and explained different options. He handled some wiring issues in my home and has done several smaller jobs for me. He arrived exactly on time, wore booties in the house so he wouldn’t mess up my home. Every thing he has done works perfectly. I recommend him highly,and will always use him for my electrical work.

I contacted the good folks @ Ewing Electric when half my house lost electricity for no apparent reason. Irene at Ewing went above & beyond to get a technician to my home very quickly, and LJ (the technician) was also terrific, very professional and highly knowledgeable. Turns out my problem is Duke's fault, but the Ewing team was fantastic - highly recommended!

We had a panel breaker rewired to correct the service voltage from 240 to 110 due to an error from a previous radiant floor installer. Our floor control system was failing due to the increased load. The system was rated for 110 and had been installed with 240 volt. Scott Ewing identified the issue and was able to rewire the breaker to adjust the voltage.

Jose was extremely knowledgeable and professional. He did a fantastic job installing three new sets of GFI outlets in our garage and was done in just 2.5 hours! I couldn’t believe it! Their estimate was competitive, they completed their work very quickly, everyone was very professional and wore masks. Most importantly they came in on budget 10 out of 10.

Found Ewing on Nextdoor. So easy and professional to do business with. I thought it was going to be crazy expensive since they have a great reservation system and feel like a bigger company. There are plenty of folks who will do electrical work, but with a very old house, I prefer licensed electricians. AJ was great to work with, explained everything, and put a lot of time into doing things well. Not inexpensive, but he also spent a lot of time on this.

Jose had a bit of a mystery to find a failed GFCI that was covered up by storage. He took his time to resolve the problem. He replaced the failed GFI and added an alarm to the device so in the future we will hear an audible alarm. Mystery solved!! Excellent work!!
