Second time I've come to this store to make a purchase. I usually purchase online monthly for work attire. Once again the service here is absolutely lacking, no "hello, may I help you"...etc etc...that's not important. You have to flag someone down to get into the dressing room but meanwhile you have three associates assisting a single customer for the entire hour I was walking around the store collecting items and having them fall out of my arms. The first person I spoke to couldn't assist me so I made my way back to the register where they do the most admin work I've ever witnessed in retail. When I asked the person in the dressing room where to put items I didn't want, she shrugged. I placed them and continued shopping. I picked up some more items, btw if you want a size over 6-10 you have to dig profusely or shop online. "Deal with it" is the vibe I'm getting from this place. The only thing warm about this store is the temperature, it seems to sit at a cool 78 degrees with the hopes that the cold attitudes all around balance it out. I went up to pay and the cashier told me she had just clocked out and moved to the next and was told to wait. At that point I was done.

I went in to return a suit I bought just 3 days back because my it didn’t fit my husband. They told me that I couldn’t return it bc the pocket strings were undone and the at they wouldn’t be able to resell it. Something as little as that was the reason they couldn’t take back or exchange a 300 dollar suit jacket. I would’ve understood doing an exchange even, but one of the ladies at the store came up to the cashier desk and gave me an attitude by saying “why would anyone open the strings of the pocket, if it didn’t fit.” It was just something to do to make sure it was comfortable overall. The attitude was not needed. I went to the other store on Southside and had NO issues exchanging it for the correct size. If you need to do any returns or exchanges, go to Southside.

This is a nice store with a nice selection of clothing. But don't expect good customer service here at this location. As another reviewer said, and it's true; the staff doesn't welcome you in upon entering or really engage you while you shop. The cashiers are often grumpy and somewhat rude and they never ever thank you for waiting after you wait in line a long time to purchase. I've been here many times and I always just experience mediocre service here. I only come back because esthetically its a nice store to shop in and because I have loved the Express brand for 20 plus years but the staff is not friendly at all.

I love shopping here but it would be nice if they would steam out the wrinkles from their clothes before stocking them on the sales floor!! I cant get the wrinkles out of the 2 dresses that I paid 59.90 for each! They are polyester so they can't be ironed. I used to work there 28 years ago (The Limited, Inc) so I know, I know they have a steamer and are suppose to do this! Just frustrating that even after trying to get them out with a steamed bathroom, I cant. And I shouldn't have to do this myself or pay a dry cleaner.

It was a wonderful experience! Everyone greeted us upon entering the store. ALL of the associates there were very helpful. They kept checking to make sure I didn't need anything while in the fitting room. And when I had to return to exchange a pant size it was hassle-free AND I didn't have to go get it, the floor associate got it for me. Indeed I was very impressed. Its hard to find this type of service hardly anywhere nowadays so this was very refreshing. Thanks Express!!!

I have been a customer for over 15 years and kinda know how things are done from my past experiences. However every time I go to this location they do things a bit different. They never exchange always return and do a buyback and i lose my discout every time..Even when its the same item..I really believe that they need to either learn what an exchange is through management or HR needs to hold a class.

Good quality clothing. Sizes fit slim builds really well. A little pricey if you can't find coupons or use rewards. MX shirts are comfortable and come in a wide variety of vibrant colors that don't fade easily. Graphic tees are pretty comfortable but the style has changed to feature the Express name more prominently than unique graphics, which is a big turn off for me personally.

Everyone was helpful and nice but they were sooooo pushy it felt like they were just forcing clothes on us so they could make a sale. They continued to speak to us from across the store and we couldn’t really focus on what WE actually came in there to accomplish. We ended up returning what we bought the next day because we felt we didn’t really like what we ended up with.

Was in need for a last minute suit and Jelani was very helpful in finding me a suit that best fitted me. He was able to help as well with a really comfortable dress shirt. I was also super busy today so I came in 15-20 minutes before closing and I never felt rushed even though I barely finished shopping 1 or 2 minutes before closing. Jelani is the best! Thanks again!

It was my first time in the store. The staff were amazing. They were ready to help and very friendly. The last time I was in an Express, I had a hard time finding things that would fit my body type. This time I wanted all the things in the store. They have a nice selection on business appropriate wear that can double for a causal or date night out.

Jocelyn was so much help at the Town Center today. We needed outfits for a wedding happening in 2 days and she hooked us up with several options. She was extremely patient while we tried on many sizes and styles - in all kinds of pants and shirts! If you go to this Express, ask for Jocelyn! She made our shopping day stress free. Thank you!

Dirty store with fixtures in bad shape. Dirty fitting rooms with trash all over the floor and piles of clothes stacked up in there. Picked out two pairs of jeans to try on but didn’t even bother after seeing that. Jacked up prices to make the “sales” seem like a good deal. None of the good stuff I saw online was in store.

had the best experience at this express location! service by all the staff but especially Timon was incredible. others had tried to help me look for a pair of jeans and I had given up, he refused to accept that and got to the bottom of it. we found my size in the jeans I wanted and he was happy to help. thank you Timon!

Terrible service. Waited at the register to buy our items. Nobody would ring us up. Another associate proceeded to ring a different customer up in front of us. 3 other associates stood at the register talking. The one associate that greeted us at the front door was the only one that was helpful at all.

Had an online order and they forgot to remove the sensor on the pants so I figure to go them for assistance. Middle Eastern looking Girl ask me, “ did you buy it from us”? She can see the pkg that it came with from online order and asking me that stupid question. The answer is “NO”...

The staff at this store is unbelievably rude. It is obvious that they profile their customers and are only friendly to certain ones. None of the cashiers I encounter are ever friendly. The only reason I come this store is to make an occasional purchase or return online purchases.

I popped in to get sunglasses and even though there was several employees behind the counter chatting among themselves no one offered to ring me up. After waiting a while for someone to even acknowledge me if I finally set the glasses on their counter and walked out.

Silvia was the best there! She was yelled at by a Karen and handled the situation gracefully!!! She was sweet, beautiful and overall amazing very helpful staff and amazing clothes options! Go team express and most of all go Silvia! She deserves a raise

Terrible cashier/saleswomen. Store is clean and plenty of choices but the lady that was helping my wife spoke rudely to her. I would avoid this location if you like good customer service. Go to the one on south side. They are much more helpful

Had an amazing time shopping. The store associates were very accommodating, especially the young lady named Raph. She made my visit very enjoyable. I would highly recommend people to shop here. Great staff and very clean and organized space

I went into the St. Johns Town Center store in Jacksonville FL today in hopes of finding some new spring attire! I wasn't successful when trying items on until Linda Rodriguez guided me towards the back section with the new mint double

Super nice clothes, a bit expensive but I know is high quality clothes, didn't like that I was kicked out last Sunday from there, LOL, just kidding, it was almost 6:00 pm when we got there and of course, they were about to close

I have shipped at express for 20 yrs and I'm ashtrays impressed with their styles, and the fact that my clothes really hold up well! If I'm in a rush and I need something dressy, cute, business attire, or unique, I go here!

Went and everything in the store was 50% off. Express has great quality clothes. Couldn't find a size and the associate was able to go in the back and find the right one that we needed. Helpful staff. Lines went quickly.

The new store manger in St. Johns Towncenter Jacksonville.Florida is great! She is always well dressed in Express clothing and knows the new products and is able to help you find whatever you're looking for in the store.

Can’t remember her name but I could not find any pants in my size. I asked her if she could look for me in the back. She came out with 4 different colors of my size. Very pleasant experience

Floor staff Angie was great! Patient and understanding. The store is pricey but had a nice suit selection for my hard to fit and hard to please last minute prom shopper.

The clothes were obscenely prices and the shirts where so threadbare you could see through them for 80 dollars I think I deserve a non see through oxford.

Great finds in the clearance section! It’s nice that they have a DJ but, the music was so loud everyone was yelling over each other when talking.
