I've always have had a really good experience when visiting Extra Space Storage and this time has not been the exception. The customer service and help that Alexis, the storage manager provided was more than outstanding. Even thou I was her last "future customer" of the day to show up at closing time, she made every effort to make sure I got a unit that met all my expectations and more. There seemed to be an error in the system and Alexis called technical support to fix it, making sure that I could get the perfect storage unit for my family. At all times she was very nice and friendly. She also made me feel that I was picking the best location and that I could be sure that my belongings were going to be alright and well taken care of. She is like I mentioned before, an outstanding asset to this great company. As the location manager Alexis made sure that I knew I could go to her or/and any of the other staff members with any concerns or questions at any time Thanks to Alexis I am extremely happy and grateful. What's more important, I'm without a doubt that I made the right decision of leasing a storage unit at the Shiloh location. Thank you Alexis for all your help, as a customer now I feel very comfortable knowing that you are the manager because without a doubt I know you are looking after my best interest. It was a pleasure to have met you and my family is thankful and grateful for everything you did for us. May God bless you always.

Beware! Signing up was simple and easy and I was happy with the initial pricing, but that pricing went up quickly. I've had my unit for less than 2 years and the price has gone up 242%. I wish I would have known that would be the case before I stored all my stuff here. I have a Cube Smart unit for work and that price has not gone up at all over the last 2 years so when I get a rate adjustment notice in the mail claiming that rates are going up due to a review of "current market conditions", I'm a little skeptical. Just to give new renters an idea of what to expect: First month, 11/1/20, $120 First increase, 4/1/21, $139 (16% increase...reasonable) Second increase, 1/1/22, $219 (56% increase...what other prices go up by 56% in 9 months?) Third increase, 10/1/22, $290 (32% increase) From 11/1/20 to 10/1/22 that is a 242% increase. Hope this is helpful for others considering this place to know what to expect. I would have certainly gone elsewhere had I known. Update: just lowered to 1 star because I got another rate adjustment due to "market conditions" 8 months after the last increase of 32%. This time it was an increase of 15%. We're up to a 277% increase!

Had to fix my car and was running low on money, i called and asked if it would be a problem to pay a day late. I was told that it was fine and that I had a 5 day grace period before any late fees are added . I wake up this morning to see my account over drawn $102!!!! I never gave anyone permission to take funds out of my account and I informed them I was going to pay it a day late! They had no issue with that when I was on the phone! Now I'm mad because I have no gas to get to work for the next two days until I get a check!!!!

I had an issue and called customer service, the rep was very receptive to my problem, and although she couldn’t help me herself she put me in the que for a manager to call me back so we could work it out. The very next day, in less than 24 hours the manager called me back and left me a message saying she’d already fixed my problem. I love their customer service and don’t have any plans on moving my storage to anywhere else! They were so nice and helpful. Alexis specifically was a pleasure to speak to.

I just moved into the unit, so no problems so far. Check in was seamless, and was able to be completed online. Lock was provided in-unit this was excellent for me because I needed to access the unit before the office opened. Only cons are the door for the inside units, the magnet that holds it open kept releasing and closing on me. Normally that wouldn't be an issue but when you are carrying heavy items during move in, it's a pain to keep having to rekey the code.

Always had the best customer support here. Thankfully I have my own place now so I no longer needed my storage as of recently. But the 3 years I had my storage they always answered the phone or in person all questions I had. Arquel was always a lot of help. Helping me throw away or lift things anytime I needed help in my storage. Thank you so much Extra Space, it was a huge pleasure doing business. I will definitely use y’all again if I need to.

We fought hard - together - jumping hurdles to reserve a precious RV spot. Alexis, manager, did more than you could / should expect to hold this very in demand 10 x 20 pad for us. She gave us the requirements, a super fair price (seemed below market value) and was patient (and trusting) while we got our things together. I highly recommend Alexis and you should give Extra Storage a try...just because of her ABOVE AVERAGE customer service!

It was a pleasure meeting, and working with, Diego at Extra Space Storage at 12100 Shiloh Rd in Dallas this morning. We were promptly greeted upon entering the office. He showed us the storage unit we would be renting. He answered all of our questions. He was courteous and professional. The storage units are spacious and affordable. The grounds are kept clean and this location is conveniently located. We recommend them.

I started to rent from here. Price started at around $78. But small print said that's only if you purchase 4 months at once. The price jumped to 80 something month to month. Not a big deal. The problem is as I kept doing the reserve the price eventually doubled with no choice to me! These people nickle and dime you to death and end up lying to you about price and screwing you over on price. STAY AWAY FROM THESE CROOKS!

I called today was able to quickly set up a time I could by to check out a unit the same day. I was really surprised and happy with the speedy, accurate, and amiable service Diego provided. Diego is such a nice guy who answered all of my questions and genuinely cared that I understood everything and was happy with my choice to store my things here. I highly recommend this location to store your things!

I been using Extra Space storage for over 2 years now,location at Shiloh & Northwest. I’ve been always amazed on how great the service is here,gotta say that Today Michael got my back.I forgot to put the lock on my unit,he took the time to put a lock to keep my tools safe and he gave me a call letting me know that he got my back.Great Job Michael,really amazed on your work ethic!

I've had my stuff in storage over a year and everytime Ive had to deal with the staff they have been very kind and helpful and have done what they can when I have a need. my only complaint is that corprate dosen't give you an email or txt heads up when they are about to raise the rent. only snail mail apparently. which is unhelpful when you do not have a home address.

The staff is very friendly and quick to help. Kathleen is awesome! I am using them for the second time. *Updating my review* My rental rate has gone up more at least once a year. They call the day your rent is due saying it's late. My unit was broken into and I was told I left my lock off. Not feeling this location as much anymore. Hoping to downsize or get out soon.

I have been with this company for more than 1 year and today I had the pleasure to work with Leigh H. She was amazing and wonderful very helpful. She made sure I was happy with the change of unit and made the process very easy. She has a great personality and great customer service. I do appreciate the help she gave me today .

First time storing at this facility. I had reserved for a unit online but upon arriving Wyatt offered me a better deal that was to good to reject and the unit was of better convenience for me. He was super helpful throughout the process and courteous. Definitely recommend this location.

Unfortunately i had my share of storage units but this one is simply. Just go online, select your unit, most time there is discount price or month free. They leave your lock in the storage, your code has to be used to come in and go out so this helps with theft. I like that.

Great place . I Totally recommend them over uhaul and public storage. The climate controled section of the facility is always clean and free of water and mold compare to public storage. Alexis was very professional and will help with all customer needs. Im very happy here!

Got a fairly small unit to hold some items I don’t have room for in my smaller apt. It’s reasonably priced, temperature control in our unit. Some units are outdoors, but ours is indoors. Very clean staff was very polite.
