I would be very careful using this place. I moved all my things from Houma to there from the hurricane because the building facility looked very clean as well as needing an access code before even being able to enter the building. The manager called me on 10/20/21 and said I need to check my lock. On 10/23 I came to the office and found that about 30k dollars of my things had been stolen out of the unit. I was just sick !!!! The manager was more concerned about showing me pictures of his dog and acted like it wasn’t even registering on what had just taken place. I had my coin collection stolen, clothes, TVs, several pistols and ammunition that were locked up, tool sets, my watch collection and jewelry. What was left was soaked with cigarette smoke because they are allowing homeless ppl to stay in there and they sit there and walk the halls and smoke inside. I called the district manager and he could have cared less. He said he looked at some video footage and did t see any homeless ppl there or smoking or anything. All you have to do is go there and you will see it every day. I’m just praying the police can get the video footage and possibly get some leads on some of my stolen property. I would highly recommend against this place until Further action is taken to secure the building and people’s valuables. Be aware !!!! UPDATE: 12.28.2021 Well apparently the insurance they automatically charge you for having if you dont have your own is worthless as well. I had $35,000.00 dollars worth of my stuff stolen and the response from their insurance company was their was no sign of forced entry so they wont cover anything that was stolen lol. I mean seriously? The police came out and did a report and put all of my stolen serial numbers into a database on the stolen guns. Allen the so called manager of the store was a complete joke and never even bothered to go thru the video surveillance to see who broke in and took my posessions. It was an absolute ridiculous situation with Allen and the district manager I spoke with. They could care less about the customers, they are more concerned about the homeless people they are illegally allowing to live in the units. To make the story short you better go with your OWN insurance if you take the chance on using this storage building which I would highly recommend against !!

My problem is the manager. I believe his name is Alan. He is disrespectful and incompetent. Someone broke the elevator once, so they turned off BOTH elevators, but stairwell doors were also locked (which is a fire hazard) so there was no way for me to access my second floor storage. IF THE ELEVATOR IS BROKEN, WHY WOULDNT YOU UNLOCK THE STAIRWELL DOORS!! They didn’t even post signs saying the elevator was broken. When I asked the manager about the elevator, he wouldn’t let me into the office, rushed me away from the door. He was more concerned with signing up a new customer that he was with me not being able to access my storage that I already paid for! Next, I was late paying my bill because I was out of town. I tried to call for my account number so I could pay online and they wouldn’t give it to me, so they put a lock on my storage on the 5th. I paid on the 6th and the lock was taken off. When I came back to the storage on the 10th at 8am, there was a lock put on my storage again. & the office wasn’t scheduled to open in 9:30. I was already on a tight schedule and there was no reason for my storage to be locked again! I spoke with corporate, who then called management. Alan arrived about 8:40 and removed the lock. When I went to the office to find out why my storage was locked, he claimed his system still showed me as unpaid and HE CLOSED THE DOOR IN MY FACE WHILE I WAS STILL TALKING! So rude and disrespectful, I told him to put in my 30 day notice immediately. I will be moving my things to a storage with professional and competent management and where I can actually access my storage during the hours I am supposed to

How, what, where, wait, ooooooh I know! A natural disaster has displaced so many of us and in the struggle should I drive 2 hours and not be able to access my unit? Calling local # no answer and I know they are so busy they can't and I'm not there, sooooooo hmmm I go online and start a live chat with Kristi and I stupidly disconnected is when she was trying to reach the location so I say these folks are so awesome I'll call again anyway Ring Ring oh hey girl oh thank goodness I'm so sorry for the trouble, oh you are there, oh wait we back to attempting normal access, oh and wait just in case they'll be extra hired security! WHAT! OMG I'm so shocked again after 30 secs and a disconnected line I have every answer, and, then some, and wait even some more I wasn't and so grateful for services! We had an excellent interaction with Andrea and her general manager (my apologies for not remembering his name). They were both on site on the day we took possession of the locker space (May 7). We were pleased with the whole process. The facility was clean. There were large flat dollies available at the loading dock. The elevator worked well. The month by month policy appeared fair and straightforward. The insurance coverage also seemed appropriate. There are older commercial buildings in most of the neighborhood but there are a number new attractive detached homes being constructed across the street and next door. I would feel safe having my college-aged son/daughter using this facility anytime during daylight. It seems that the newer staff are providing better customer service than what was posted on previous reviews.

The initial rental was impeccable— the person who signed me up to rent the unit gave a 1st class experience!! & that’s where the great customer service ends! I was never sent my passcode or unit number, I arrived after hours with my movers and was never told that I would have to have their lock taken off for my to gain entry inside the storage unit that I’ve already paid for! To say that I am frustrated is an UNDERSTATEMENT!! & now— I have to do this all over again tomorrow and incur additional charges. Update as of 05.25.23**** Initially when I couldn’t get in, I was SOOOOO ANNOYED; but when I met the staff the next day, they were very helpful & accommodating. Thank you!

Absolutely ridiculous!! Tons of roaches in my storage and a few others near me and we all filed complaints! (Left voicemail and yet to hear a response) I moved from a high end luxury apartment community downtown New Orleans and used this storage facility to keep my very expensive pieces of furniture/clothing until my house was ready! So many dead and alive roaches I couldn’t believe it! I called to cancel my storage and I moved my things out the same day (had to load my infested roach items and go dispose of them elsewhere since they have no dumpster for customer use) I would not recommend this storage facility!

So far, so good. It's been less than a year since I signed up with them, but here are three quick reasons I'm writing this review. 1. It's clean and air conditioned. 2. They give you a good deal on the first month. 3. Customer service. At the Perdido location, there's a staff member named Andrea who is really good at what she does. It's nice to find above-and-beyond customer service in a place where it wasn't expected. Andrea struck me as a pro's pro. Like I said, so far so good. I've been pleasantly surprised.

My daughter had to move out of her dorm for the summer and unfortunately, we waited until the last minute. Finding a conveniently located storage space that was clean, safe, and easy to access was comforting. When I spoke with Devon, it was the icing on the cake. He was so helpful and reassuring and his assistance continued when we arrived and when we checked out. I will definitely be utilizing this location next summer and we will NOT wait until the last minute.

I have a college student in the New Orleans area. We live out of state so we decided to put her belongings in storage for the summer. It was easy to reserve the unit online. The office manager followed up with us almost immediately after securing the unit. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful with all of my questions. We did not have any issues with our unit. The building was secure, clean, and safe.

I wanted to take the time to write this review. We all know moving can be a very difficult time.But the general manager made it easy for me. The property is clean , brand new and staff is wonderful. When I rented the general manager was wonderful he made sure the unit was clean and easy accessible. I would recommend this location to family and friends. Keep up the good work!!!

Devin is just amazing. He assured me that I had no need to worry and he couldn’t have been more right! He made the process of securing the units that I needed as easy as possible. Very kind and professional. I actually have another unit there and I wouldn’t think of going anywhere else. It’s clean, easy access, cooling works well and basically I give 5 stars!!

When I went to take my first load shortly after after signing the contract, there was a roach outside of my empty unit. This was surprising b/c the facility looks very new and clean. The Manager immediately came up and sprayed but I'd be lying if I didn't have major reservations. Whatever I store there, I will make a point not bring back into my home.

Let me start off by saying that Kim(the gm) was so wonderful, very personable, so kind & answered any and all of my questions. The facility was also very clean, my experience was far more than i expected, having that i have dealt with other facilities before. I will definitely recommend this particular location to anyone who is looking. Thank u again.

Location was immaculate and well maintained. The 2 store managers were professional and very helpful when it came to addressing my needs. I currently have belongings on the property and I am pleased to say that the day manager Ben is always working. I have noticed Ben steadily working to keep the storage areas clean. Ben is always courteous and helpful. The only con is that there have been threats of burglary in the units which is being addressed by NOPD.

I was skeptical at first about renting space because of some stories I heard, but after consulting with Cleveland, he provided the reassurance I needed to get the ball rolling. We found this storage building through an online search looking for storage for our small business. The online sale and competitive pricing got us in the door, but the cleanliness of the building, units, and especially the helpful office manager Kay Kay is what made us stay.

We couldn’t have managed all of our deliveries without the help of Devin and Jay here at the facility! They truly went over and beyond to make our experience seamless. So willing to help with whatever we needed, their customer service is absolutely superb at this location.

Great customer service but my issue was that it’s a new building but an elevator is broken and one of the doors is broken. It made my move much harder because of the extra walking. And there is not a ramp for easy moving the cart into the building.

My furniture has been in storage for 4 months , I stopped by the office today because I forgot my access number to the building , the gentleman Devin who was in the front office was very helpful and made sure I was able to get back in.

Smart? cube ? Hardly. Do NOT move in here- it’s a moving nightmare! Who puts a curb and posts at BOTH of the loading /unloading areas ? If you have any large furniture pieces dealing with that curb will not be fun !

MY experience was awesome. The service was fast, but not rushed, it was also through. I was allowed to few several different units and given options. I was treated professionally, and courteously.

I’m giving 4 stars based on the attitude of the larger percentage of the employees. Also all the air conditioner units are pumping out cold air perfectly . Important during record breaking temps.

Homeless people staying inside building!!! Just walking around with their belongings. Some have asked us for money. My wife does not feel very safe going in This building.
