They were nice and friendly UNTIL we were scammed and also had Fraud Charges in our account. Rented a car for 2 days and for a discount we were asked to leave a review before we even rented the car, however 72hrs later after we returned the car we did not hear back about our deposit so I sent a text just in case they may have forgot, hours later I receive 4 pictures of damages to the car as well as the pictures were taken some where else from where we left the car. I texted the number that they were communicating with me off of and they never responded I asked what were the damages and why weren’t we contacted and why are we finding out 3 days later STILL NO RESPONSE.Also had us drop the car off WITHOUT them present because they weren’t at the office during business hours and told us to set the key on top of the tire. So I called the number and a lady answer I barely stated my name and rental dates before she talked over me and said there’s pictures and whatever’s on the pictures is there so I told her I’d be reaching out to our family attorney she caught and attitude said she’s transfer me. The call hung up. I decided to NOT harass them. However we paid $900+ for a 2 day rental in the cheapest car they had on the lost. They also questioned us when we entered if we’d “Steal” the car. We took it as a joke because we needed a rental at the last minute. I’m licensed but my friend was not they Insisted we add her even though she told them she had no drivers licenses they still added her as a driver (which is illegal) anywho still no reply’s no communication from them. We ended up filing fraud charges because we still don’t know anything about the damages just pictures sent with no words etc. We sent the outside of the car back a little dirty because it was raining that day and they said that was okay we also have videos prior and after with NO DAMAGES on the vehicle. Anyways this place is Shady, if you are in desperate need to get a car just be prepared for the underlining fees and charges that they will make especially during the pandemic. At first they were sweet then they were sour. Never again nor would recommend. Well played though, you guys pulled a good one. Glad we live in Colorado because that would have never been okay here.

I now realize why they had a bulletproof glass window between them and the customer..... The service they attempted to provide was Abysmal at best. With at least 2 different companies being operated out of the same box, the least they could do is cross-train employees. Never should anyone behind the counter of any business respond to a customer's questions, they 'have no idea' or they 'don't work with that program'. Their digital signage regarding rules of rental, such as not driving it across the border to Mexico, etc was riddled with grammatical faux pas which along with the malfunctioning medium used to display their various rules, irritated me physically & mentally. Oh, and after booking a rental online I was forced to drive out of my way to this location which supposedly had the vehicle I requested. Upon investigation it was soon discovered they HAD. NO. CARS! Zero cars. I now realize why they had a bulletproof glass window between them and the customer.....

Extremely disappointing is an understatement. Supporting small local businesses is something I make an effort to do when purchasing goods or services. Still, unfortunately, this company didn't meet even the most basic standard of a business transaction. I read all the negative reviews before booking, but I still wanted to take the chance and try them out. Please don't make the same mistake...take those honest negative reviews seriously. I booked in advance, called right after to confirm pick up time and reservation, I showed up, and the building/office was completely vacant. I called an absurd amount of times, and no one picked up. Needing to get on the road, I had to go to Enterprise across I-10 and rent a car there. To save you some time, when I finally got someone on the line, customer service was unprofessional and unapologetic. Not worth your time, effort, or money.

UPDATE: I had to come back and change my review. Whoever the lady is that works there is SO unprofessional. She was very rude to me over the phone and when I got firm with her she started to yell at me. She then called me again from a blocked number (childish). I guess trying to threaten me about me being late returning my rental, yet when I explained why, her tone quickly changed and then she apologized. But the damage was already done. I will NEVER rent from here again, just because of her. And don’t be fooled by all the good reviews, they give you a small discount if you leave one before you even get your rental. *shrugs* The guy that helped me on Thanksgiving Day was very nice though, which is why I gave 2 stars. Still believe this business is the biggest car rental scam. Not worth the time or money.

If I could provide negative stars...I would!! First off, their vehicles are overpriced and the customer service is horrible. The very ignorant female at the counter got upset because I told her that they needed to be clearer regarding their requirements so that people know what to expect when they get there. She disrespectfully responded, "You don't have to rent from us!" That ensued us going back and forth. I was so offended and felt totally disrespected as a costumer that paid $1100+ for a rental car that smells like urine and gas tank on EMPTY!! Light was literally on. Unless you're ok with not being treated as a customer should, overpaying for subpar rentals and being talked to like your a child, I'd highly not recommended renting from this place!!!

Edit: I rented from Fifth Avenue again when I came into town to pick up a vehicle from a dealership, and I will literally go nowhere else in town for a rental!! Ali and Big Ali are very friendly and treat you like family! Their customer service is top notch and professional. They work with you, as long as you communicate. They offer many options of payment and have a great deposit policy that is incredibly convenient after you return your vehicle. Their inventory is diverse and their vehicles are in great shape, and generally always new! I recommend them to anyone looking for last-minute rentals to their long term specials! Ask about 'em. Called two days in a row trying to rent a car first time I called the guy answered told me the car would be available at 2 to call back. I called back Ali picked up and told me he would give me a call around 3 to give me more details he never called. Fast Fwd on their website says it’s an 24hr service I called around 5 that morning only for them to tell me they don’t open until 10:30? Feel like it’s a scam only good thing I could see was renting a car with cash. So unprofessional and on top of that when I was calling the number listed the guy answered sounded like he was asleep. Only thing about this place that’s convenient is it’s open 24 hours and they take multiple Forms of payment methods , that’s really about it . If you’re under 25 I’m letting you know now you’re going to be paying a little over 200 a DAY for a regular camry or ford fusion !!!!! And don’t forget the 500 $ deposit lolll. One guy kept trying to act as if he was giving me a deal but truth be told you’re gonna get bent over for your money regardless at this place. Horrible customer service! This place is located inside an office building with no after-hours access. Fifth rent a car force charged over 3k from my capital one card. How. Now I am on the whole with my bank over 3000 in rental charges. Run far away! When I asked about this they said they were going to call the cops and that I was going to be arrested for trespassing. I am reporting them to the better business bureau!!!!

I have to say I was very happy with them and that's saying it lightly .. I couldn't find a rental car company anywhere that would help me cuz I don't have a major credit card And I wasn't traveling . I needed a car on the spot and it was after hours so I didn't know where to go, I searched online and fifth avenue rent a car popped up. I called them and they were extremely helpful and gave me the perfect car for my daughter's prom. I didn't have a debit card so they took cash which nobody does anymore. I'm more than satisfied and fifth avenue has my business and whoever I know from here on out.

False advertising. Hours state they are 24 hours. I called yesterday at 6pm to inquire. Then made a reservation at 8:30pm. When calling before I drove all the way over to I-10 and no one is available and then he doesn't even have the car I asked for online. So no they are not 24 hours and online is not accurate either. Wont be wasting my time today thats for sure.

I rented a car through this company for a road trip to San Antonio, it was very last minute and im under 25 so most car places wouldn't rent to me. I found this place and will NEVER rent from anywhere else. The people who work here are amazing and very nice.
