@A Cipher towards what they said. I think A Cipher is a tad dumb, since Yeronga Station AND Dutton Park are like Fairfield Station, Park Rd Station is a tad more popular so they get better equipment. Fairfield is opened for more than 2hrs, they are opened from 7am-12pm and the toilets ARE opened. Since you know Covid-19 hit, things have to be closed or the hours are decreased. Instead of complaining about stuff, just think about this, there are other train stations that aren't even manned or worse off. So stop being a snowflake.

The station that is only manned for like 2 hours a day, toilets are never open and has really poor service update ability. As in, there are no screens with the aprox time trains are meant to arrive. Why is it Park Road station has all these abilities but currently Fairfield is very much lacking?

There is no pram access to platform 2. The station shares tracks with Gold Coast express, which means the trains stopping at this station gets second priority and they often skip this station when the Gold Coast express runs behind the schedule.

Trains often skip this station when running 10 or more minutes behind schedule. Platform 2 (city inbound) isn't pram or wheelchair accessible having 25 plus steep steps, no ramps or lifts(doesn't meet state accessibility standards)

Lousy service. No security guards or widely visible signage to let passengers know the station is closed down. You could be waiting for an hour until you discover it's out of service. Absolutely appalling experience.

I have only been screamed at by junkies 2 or 3 times over 5 years. That's pretty good for a suburban train station.

A traditional little station, clean and tidy without the thrills!
