I went into this store last Wednesday and ordered a couch. I was told that the couch would be delivered to the store within 2-3 weeks to which they would then contact me to have a delivery date organised that was within 7 days of it arriving in-store. I got a text message at 6:30pm last night saying my couch was coming this morning between 7-10am and that I had to make sure someone was home. I had to then organise someone to cover my shift so that I could accept the delivery. I then called the Hoppers Crossing store this morning to discuss the issue I had encountered and the fact that I was not contacted at all to organise a delivery date. When the phone was answered I asked to be transferred to the manager to which a young man did transfer me. When the manager (I believe her name was Elena, definitely started with E) answered I got "what's the issue?" rather than "how can I help you today?". When I explained the situation, I was told they contacted a phone number on my file and asked if this was my phone number. When I told the her that the phone number was not mine she then backtracked and said they contacted my phone number 3 times with no response so they called the alternate phone number and a man accepted the delivery for this morning. I explained that I did not give an alternate phone number last week when I purchased my couch in store and that it was extremely inconvenient that I had to organise a morning off work to accept the delivery. This woman was extremely rude, continued to tell me I put that number down so I must know how this person is related to me. Told me she would call them and ask them how they know me. She would not listen or understand that I don't know that number. There was no apology for the miscommunication or inconvenience, nothing was resolved. I was sworn at, I was spoken to extremely rudely and when I got off the phone to her I was really worked up and upset at the fact I was spoken to so horribly for wanting to discuss an issue that I encountered. Will never be buying from fantastic furniture again, nor will I recommend to anyone. Disgusting customer service, if you hate your job, don't do it!!!
I recently visited Fantastic Furniture Hoppers Crossing hoping to find some nice pieces for my home, but my experience there was nothing short of appalling. The shop attendant's behavior left me shocked and deeply disappointed. I felt compelled to share my experience to warn others about the unacceptable treatment I received. When I asked for help in finding a particular item, she responded with condescending remarks and a dismissive attitude, making me feel like I was bothering her. To make matters worse, the shop attendant's arrogance was evident throughout our interaction. She spoke to me as if my questions were trivial and beneath their attention, showing a complete lack of professionalism and basic courtesy. After finalizing the items, when we went to the counter for billing, the same attendant was incredibly arrogant and disrespectful. She behaved as if she was doing us a favor, and on top of that, she just stood in one place, pointing to the furniture we had selected. When we were trying to pay by card, there was a slight technical issue with the payment process over the phone. Instead of being understanding, she arrogantly asked whether we were going to pay or not. It was truly a pathetic experience at this store It is disheartening to think that a business that claims to cater to customers could employ individuals who treat people so poorly. A business's reputation is only as good as its customer service, and this experience has undoubtedly tarnished my perception of Fantastic Furniture. I cannot in good conscience recommend this store to anyone, knowing that they might be subjected to such disrespectful and offensive treatment. I sincerely hope that the management of Fantastic Furniture takes this feedback seriously and takes appropriate action to address the behavior of their shop attendant. Customers should be treated with respect and dignity, regardless of their background, and it is essential for the shop to foster an inclusive and welcoming environment for all. Until significant changes are made, I will not be returning to this shop, and I strongly urge others to think twice before giving them their business

Upgrading review from 1 star to 5 star ----------------------------------------------- This is about threatening Fantastic Furniture Caroline Springs Victoria Australia. I purchased 1 Large mirror from them and collected from their store. I was promised when I purchased that person on the warehouse will be responsible to show you the mirror in case of any cracks at the time of collection. I went back to pick up this Sat at 1 PM . The person at back of the store handed over me 40 KG box, I asked him to show me the mirror, he said You can check it yourself, I am not responsible for it. It was heavy rain, I took the 40 kg box and put that my car. I was thinking all the way it should not be 40 kg thing.......... I got it at home with a struggle and care. When I opened up the box immediately. Instead of 1 mirror there are 2 mirrors. Being a responsible and honest person, I immediately report to the store manager and asked them to pick it the same day from my house. They have given me options a) drop it to store b) Will charge money for other mirror from you (forceful purchase) c) wait for next week and take care of their large mirror. I insisted to pick from my home today since I cannot store it or take care of it on my responsibility since it is a very large thing , She so rude , never apologized instead threating me to call authorities as If I stole it. This is bad attitude from a big company. Instead of thankful I got threatened and now thinking about thier threat to me
I'm quite disappointed at your service in Hoppers Crossing store today between 2 to 5pm. I am on a hunt for a mattress, no one came to help or even bothered to ask for the first 10 15 minutes. Which is okay, I usually want to take my time before I ask someone questions. Then a lady , who's name I don't know appears, standing miles away from us and yells across the store to ask us if we need anything. To which I responded, no thank you I'm just looking for now. When we settled for 2 mattresses we needed her help to decide which is better of the two. I walk to the desk where she'd been standing and ask her a few questions. She's so condescending in her tone and doesn't have good mattress knowledge. Please understand as customers we've been to your neighbouring stores and there's staff that knows a lot about the products they are selling. She has absolutely zero knowledge, is only reading from the labels with a tone that's implying like we are stupid and bothering her. We like the mattress so we wanted to buy it despite her bad attitude. We ask her if we can buy it and how long is the delivery time. She's checking on her computer, and while she is I say and if anywhere we can go pick it up quicker than having to wait 3 4weeks . She rude again and says "YES THATS WHAT IM CHECKING ALREADY" . We have bought a few things from you in the past and are happy with the products plus the service provided by some lad who's been great! Would appreciate if you guys look into the behaviour of that lady and let us know of any updates.
Good price, bad delivery arrangements. Order placed a month ago for delivery in December 18th, items were paid in full and arrived in store a week ago, said everything is ready in store for delivery. I was told multiple-times by different representatives in the store that the itmes will be delivered at that date with no problems, and I will be messaged about the delivery time a day earlier before they finished working so if anything went wrong, I can call in to change the date. Well what happened on December 17th is, I received no messages at all and made 2 calls to confirm a rough delivery time and refused to give an answer, the first call was responded that I would receive messages around 2-3 pm in the afternoon, and then the second call was I will only receive message at night after 5. Both of the representatives picked up the calls were so unpatient and rush. So I am curious, as I mentioned to them again and again that it took me an hour and half to travel to the house where the delivery will be shipped, if I cannot make it at the time the furnitures arrived, how can I change the bloody delivery date? They want me to tell them whether to change the date before 5 pm and I can only know the answers after 5 pm, so that means I will need to wait for the answer at night and then time travel back? How hard to just give a rough timing for shipping for an order that was placed almost a month ago? **And yes the delivery was shipped at 7:30 am and I have to wake up at 5 and be there at 7 to wait for it**
Man I dealt with day I bought bed set and drawers very nice. Subsequent people on the phone... Unhelpful and disinterested So I bought a bed and two beside tables First they only had one bedside table to delivery. On delivery, we find out we have to assemble the damned thing ourselves. A colossal pieces of wood and bolts to assemble and completely 'un user' friendly. Am called 2 weeks later to collect other bedside table. I realise I've been slack with picking it up but very hard when my partner and I are both full time workers and I'm 37 weeks gone! Should I even be lifting that? Anyway I asked the girl on the phone if anyone can put the damned things together and she said they had no one is qualified from their end and that I had to contact a seperate person who charges $25 an hour. Fmd... I told her had I known I had to put together all these tedious bits and pieces wouldn't have bought at all and she went silent and mumbled that I should've checked the ticket and noted they came unassembled. Is customer surface and a bit of courtesy not common place anymore? If I dealt with a complaint the way this woman did I would've been sued by now for negligence and passive follow up. So thank you for nothing I'm sorry to say, Fantastic Furniture.
I would have given negative review only for false ETA given. Even if its their fault 'unforeseen circumstance they call' They lack empathy, unapologetic and felt disgusted when they say they have over 200 orders to look at daily and cannot give appraisals even if order is delays over several weeks of advised delivery. In return they tell me of issuing notice to sales person who according to me did his due diligence of checking stock and then advising me ETA of delivery. The stock was available at time of payment and hence booked, they didn't care to follow-up and advise that the manufacturer didn't release the stock and it could take more and more weeks. Then they say, we did not have the stock, the sales person overlooked, then they say there are unforeseen internal issues. Can't get more lame excuses. If you ask for guaranteed latest date, they advised of a date 3 months from order. Such as SHAME. Don't assure customers if you can't deliver just to get sales done! Couple of week here and there and I wouldn't write have written this. Spare your hard earned money who can promise an ETA and not give false dates!
Bought a Havana queen bed with 2 bedside tables from Hoppers store. The assemdly wasn't that easy. One of the bedside tables was missing a leg. Once we assmbled the bed then we realised it was too filmsy and lightweight, like a kid's bed. We decided to return it and emailed the store. We were advised that we could disassemble and take it back and get a full refund. As we had to disassemble it, I had to make some time to get this done. Meanwhile we got covid and could not return it to the store by the following 2 weeks. Then when I got a chance to disassemble it and called the store to confirm the return, I was told they will not be taking it back, just because 30 days have passed!! When I told them it was not a change of mind, rather the poor quality of the bed, the store manager kept on saying they can't do anything. Now I have to assemble this poor quality bed again or sell it at a way lower price. I am very disappointed by this poor customer service from this store. I would rather go to a farther store than to visit the Hoppers store again in future.
This was yesterday. Pathetic customer service , Very rude staff and they looked like they did not want to be there and did not want to help at all, the gentlemen's name was Kelvin who just kept starting at us as if he has never seen an African family before and a brunette(not sure what her name was) who was forced by Kelvin to ask if we needed any help and this was only after we came into the store the second time which should indicate that we are wanting to buy an item. After answering one question she decided to leave on her own, (if you do not believe me please do view the CCTV footage). We ended up leaving the store and buying Items from Amart next door where the staff were the complete opposite. Please look into hiring team members who want to be there and who do not discriminate.
First off, I would give a much higher review if the quality standard of the furniture was up to scratch. One good thing fantastic furniture does is their customer service, in particular Janelle, who helped me with the problems I had with the furniture and I was very happy with the customer service she provided, and she was keen and eager to help and very polite, with that I’d give a 5 star review based on customer service. The reason for my 2 star review is because the quality of the furniture is disappointing, that being said the wood is a cheap chipboard wood and is flaky like paper (picture provided), I expected higher quality products for the price I paid, but I will not buy any wooden furniture from here again but other products are reasonable.
BE AWARE!!!! We Ordered on 17.08.2023 a 2 piece sofa that was deliver to our home. Delivery drivers damages our staircase with holes in wall, scruff marks everywhere, lights ripped off the wall, child safety stair case lock half ripped off. Addressed this issue to fantastic furniture numerous of times and we get palmed off for this that it’s the transportation company’s issue. On top of this they don’t give us any details of the transportation company to contact them for complaints. This has been an absolute nightmare of purchase and will be the last from Fantastic furniture as there is whatsoever since the 17th it’s now the 30.08.2023 13 days and not 1 person did contact us regarding this issue. 0 ACCOUNTABILITY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!!
I acknowledge that the product's quality is proportionate to its price. What is baffling though is the poor customer service I have experienced from handling the returns. I have returned their dining chairs and lounges thrice over the past 3 years (see photos), and we don't have small children at home so I'd like to believe these damages are from ordinary wear and tear. During these instances, it's always a hard and painful process. The most recent one, I was called by their rudest and most unprofessional staff, just because I haven't been given a satisfactory answer why I was over-billed. Again, I know 'you pay peanuts, you get monkeys'... but I've learned my lesson and will never go back to this store again! BEWARE!
Not happy at all and won't be shopping at fantastic furniture hoppers crossding again. I purchased 4 dressing Robs and one of them had parts missing, it's put together pack. I called them a number of times nobody answered . So I went into the store and I told the lady only half of what I was going to say because she stopped me and knew there were missing parts , all she said is you have to email the hoppers crossing store and that's were I was and send photos and tell us what's missing!!!!! I'm at the store already,I'm showing the lady what's missing I have spent over $1000 & I have to run around to get the missing parts and email myself while I was at the store. Thats really bad customer service .
I would like to share the experience I have had so far re after sale service. I've purchased a bed frame on 11th Aug'19 from Hoppers Crossing store, but the product delivered was damaged which was disappointing. I was offered $50 as compensation to accept the product as is which was unacceptable. When I asked to fix or replace the product, I was promised 2-3 weeks to fix it and the executive took it so lightly. Till date, I have been chasing Fantastic Furniture to fix the product which was not even damaged by me. Is this your customer service? Pls bear in mind the emotional quotient the customer is approaching and buying product from your store.
I was quite disappointed with the delay on given ETA for my online order. The order was delayed by few weeks than promised and had to follow it up with the staff at Hoppers Crossing for a couple of times with no help. But then I spoke with the store manager in regards to my order and she was quite prompt in tracking my order and followed it up with their distribution centre for an urgent delivery. She kept me informed with the movement of my order as promised and got it delivered within a couple of days. I am happy with her professional approach and she certainly has saved another bad review about FF.
My daughter and I purchased a sofa, arm chair & otterman on Sunday 29/8/22, we were served by June, such professional service and knowledge I cant praise June enough, we were so happy with the whole process from start to finish, June’s customer service is exemplary, June is a credit to the team, I would not hesitate to recommend this store and June to all my friend. June keep up the good work because this brings the customers back time and time again, Customer service like yours if hard to find. Picked up a item Saturday had to drive from other side of Melbourne to collect it only to find item was broken when we got home staff we dealt with over phone couldn’t give a stuff spoke to staff at Dandenong and they helped us out but when we returned it told us 7 to 10 days for a refund they soon changed there mind once we mention consumer law on first day failing they soon refunded us there and then will not recommend these stores to anybody due to the treatment from the staff at the hoppers crossing store it was disgraceful
I am writing this review to highlight the amazing help I received regarding replacement cushions inquiry. I bought the Sofa few years ago and due to the cushions having lost their shape I contacted fantastic furniture for advice. I was told a replacement is possible provided the product is still under warranty. Monique initiated the warranty claim and then later Henry got the claim fulfilled. I am so happy with the after sales service. I highly recommend them for any of furniture needs.Amazingly fast and realistic help.
Hi , I was so disappointed to shopping at fantastic furniture hopper crossing. Yesterday I bought a coffee table, it cost me 159$. When i brought it home I was so disappointed because it’s not a wood. It’s chip board with paper on it. Today I went to store to replace the coffee table, but they refused to exchange. The shop manager NIDHI was lack of manner. She is very rude. She doesn’t know how to talk with customers. In future I will never visit fantastic furniture again.
I have purchased a study table from them. My husband ordered it online and picked it up. It came without any drawers. So we messaged Fantastic furniture, they asked us to come and pick up the parts. When we said no they sent us a message saying they have posted the parts. It's more than a week and we have not received the parts. Full payment was made and still waiting. No way I am going to order anything from them again. Moreover, their help desk is useless.
Lack of phone manner with staff also reflected with the in store experience also. Very rude and felt like our purchase wasn’t appreciated as it was only for a small ticket item. Overall layout of the shop is good and the warehouse staff member had better customer service then the sales staff on the floor. A very disappointing experience at this store which I have never experienced in other fantastic furniture stores.
Waited 3 mnths for my couch Got a phone call monday to say its ready for delivery. Took time off work for delivery. Told the night before sorry we lost your order and cant find it. Not to mention the rude customer service from manager.and lack of return phone calls .will never recommend to anyone. Returned to store for refund no apolgy Would not engage in any conversation with me..fantastic furniture?? Not likely.
Not at all satisfied and would not recommend to anyone. I ordered King bed suite received the delivery after 6 weeks on last Sunday. We wanted to fix it that day and got a handyman booked. Unfortunately he figured out for the bed one screw was not having groove! I had to go to Bunnings at an odd hour to get the screw and steel saw ( to make it the size needed). It was a lot and unnecessary hassle on a Sunday.
The store and staff: 4/5 stars. They where helpful and kind to help me to find what i needed. The furniture: 2/5 stars Bed was good but the dresser I spent lots on was missing parts. Had to go back 2 times to get the bits missing. But the staff where helpful. Then i moved house and went to put it back together and the dresser is wonky for some reason. Hopefully it dosent fall apart. Hope i can get a refund.
Great customer service by Henry and answered all queries politely and patiently. On the other hand, there is a blonde girl who works usually on weekends has no sense of customer service and is very arrogant in any questions as if she is doing favor to the customers, perhaps she should get some training from Henry. Quality of furniture is always great at this store but customer service can be hit and miss.
I won’t be too harsh because I was only in there a short time. So many online specials, not much of the same stock in store. A bit disappointed I couldn’t just buy what I wanted. The store is clean, well set up and lots of staff around to help if needed. Loads of parking outside too. Close to lots of other stores if you want to visit a few for furnishing your home.
The girl who works at this store has a lot of attitude. Doesnt know how to talk to a customer. Before even letting me finish what I am saying, she starts talking. Not a good listener. She doesnt even acknowledges to whats being said. When I was closing off the conversation by thanking her, she just rudely hung up the phone. Wonder who put her into customer service.
I went to the store on Saturday with no intentions of buying the same day as my house is getting built at the moment. This lady Nhidi was nice and patient enough to walk around with us and show us items that we might like. This kind of old school customer service is always refreshing to experience! We will be back to furnish our new place with Fantastic Furniture!
Ordered a chair around 9PM last night and received order confirmation within 1-2 minutes. Order was ready next day (08th Sep 2021) and collected it around 12.30PM. The guy at the "Click & Collect" is doing an awesome job. He is very polite, knows how to talk to the customers. Store Manager : well done on recruiting this guy ;) . I should've asked what his name is.
We had the misfortune of purchasing some furniture from the Caroline Springs store. We noticed that some of the items had manufacturing defects, and the Caroline Springs store has been of 0 help in getting the items replaced. I contacted the guys at Hoppers, Andrew and Janelle has been exceptionally polite and helpful in getting my items replaced. Thank you.

She made the entire process positive & pleasurable - Customer service at it's very best! And we love the bedroom package we purchased which was great-looking & well-priced. Exactly what we were looking for.
Bought the Kingston living and king bed package. Very happy with the quality and look of the furniture, goes well with our house theme. Janelle was very helpful and patient with our selection and also gave recommendation to enhance the overall look. Also replaced the damaged side table and coffee table with in couple of weeks.
Very dissapointed with their services, they will tell you it would only take 5-7 weeks but in reality it can take forever like with mine after waiting for 9 weeks they are still asking for more time, had to cancel my order as they dont know how long it will take, never going back there and thats what i would recommend to all.
Pretty good. They have a reasonable selection of furniture at very competitive prices. The staff were friendly and helpful including getting item's from storage that were not on display so we could check them. I would recommend checking their online catalogue to start with. We ended up getting what we wanted at a good price.
My elderly Mum recently bought a Jones lounge suite while we got really good customer service instore I wanted to thank the delivery drivers very much for putting the lounge suite together for my Mum. Outstanding customer service! I purchased a couch and new bed set with the help of Jason who was very helpful! I came back in the next day due to a minor pricing error which was quickly resolved by the lovely Janelle and Kelvin! staff here are very friendly and professional. I will defintly be a returning customer!
For the price, I think the quality of their furniture is pretty decent. That being said, be prepared to wait longer than the stipulated time. Website said 2 weeks but received my items after a month. Called the store but they said the timings were not updated. Delivery after being contacted was quite fast
Got a king bed frame. Great prices, good quality. The staff were rather friendly and helpful. I couldn’t fit it in my car initially, unfortunately. But they were nice about it, got it delivered for me the next morning to my house. Definitely going to shop here again & get a few matching pieces.
We bought a three piece dining setting for Christmas but realised we needed a few extra chairs when we got home. Apparently there was a deal on for the full set of chairs and were offered the rest at a discount. The table and chairs seem pretty well put together too and simple to assemble.
Item have defect. I send email from 11.10.2021 only after 6 day get response after 3 times call and 4-5 time send same email. Now I have wait 7-10 day they result. I have 3 bed side and 2 drawer from fantastic all is good and assembled myself. But this store trying make problem.
Horrible staff product quality is so low that it brake in 4 months I've gotten a bed the railing is so bad that my rails are just keep dropping out, the study table can't support even 2 KG it bends its horrible I recommend not to buy from this place its a waste of money.
Went to fantastic to pick up a entertainment unit, coffee table and recliner overall experience is a 4 because I went in twice first time no one approached me second time I dealt with man named Andrew who was great offered good service and support.
Great customer service. Good prices for furniture. Downside is there stock numbers. They had 7pc dining set thst we wanted. The table was in stock but had to wait a couple weeks for the chairs. The lounge suite we wanted had a 3 month wait.

Ordered my new bed and mattress on Thursday arrived on Saturday set it up and can honestly say best night's sleep I have had. The bed is great and the mattress has to be the most comfortable and is everything that is described.
Absolute rubbish.. Customer service is beyond despicable. It has been over than six months that I have been trying to replace a faulty chairs.. Even though we have exchange a great deal of e-mails , still no resolution
The setup for the furniture was appealing. The staff member was very patient with all of our questions and accommodated us with changing chairs and making sure the package was going to be suitable for our family.
Manager needs to learn a bit of customer service very rude behaviour while talking. Order sofas comes with out legs and different fabric. They make you realize that its your mistake if there is no leg for sofa.
Been in multiple times, each time what I've chosen from the sales floor is out of stock and has to be ordered, order time was over 8 weeks? Lucky there is 15 other furniture stores within 5 minutes of it.

Pathetic service, I ordered bunk bed 4 months ago, it's still not arrived and the staff doesn't even know when it's gonna arrive. I have been calling for over a month with no luck.
Very rude staff, Just not interested in doing business. Would have surely given 0 star if that was an option. Prices in the store looks reasonable but very poor customer service.
Janelle was absolutely amazing!! (Hoppers crossing store). Mattress knowledge was incredible and made choosing so much easier! Great personality and an asset to the store!
You get what you pay for and I wasn't expecting an heirloom, but I hoped that my sofa bed would at least function. Customer service non existent once they have your money.
Took almost 45 mins before we got any help but once a gentlemen helped us I got everything I wanted and done quickly. Nathan in charge of the loading dock is a gem!

Service was friendly. All 3 items i looked at buying were out of stock. A lot their stock seems dated... did have some bargains but not enough stock...
Was once great but it appears they have the same 90's stock today on display that they had back then. Cheap and probably quality built but very dated.
Poor customer service. Stuffed up on our order then just refused to do anything about it. Furniture we got there in the past was good quality.
