"We ate at Local Taco"
"Weirdly empty shopping complex where all the businesses seem to be owned by a handful of people"
"Was really looking forward to the small shops of fatherland"
"Nashville is ALIVE AGAIN! Shopping in the Fatherland District was a blast, all the shops and restaurants are great! I live in Hendersonville so I don't get to venture out very often but I am so happy that I did"
"This eclectic group of stores, bakeries and miscellaneous eateries is one of the reasons that so many people are flocking to East Nashville"
We ate at Local Taco. We have eaten there before and really enjoyed it. The food is great and the Margaritas wonderful. We live in Hendersonville and will travel to East Nashville just to eat here occasionally because of the food and service. We were a little disappointed to find out that they have changed to order at the counter and they bring the food out to you. We do like the patio and on the patio dogs are welcome. Great place to relax and have some great food and drinks with friends.
Weirdly empty shopping complex where all the businesses seem to be owned by a handful of people. Seemed to be really set up nicely but the lack of traffic gave it an almost creepy vibe. In most of the stores we checked out we were the only customers. Stuff was pretty high priced but not obviously high end. Definitely wouldn’t recommend as a tourist but maybe the locals know where to find deals better. Everyone was nice and the place was clean, just not a lot going on.
Was really looking forward to the small shops of fatherland. However, with the pandemic, I think a few places were shuttered. The few that were there were really cool. Also loved the small dessert jars from the cake project. Had a key lime cheese cake and it was delicious. Pricing was reasonable for the stores that were there too compared to stores in East Nashville or the Gulch. Found some cute bootie shoes on sale at Pauli's Place Boutique.
Nashville is ALIVE AGAIN! Shopping in the Fatherland District was a blast, all the shops and restaurants are great! I live in Hendersonville so I don't get to venture out very often but I am so happy that I did. It was great to see all the people on the streets again, donning their masks and social distancing... it was a great feeling. I was not able to go to the Ginger Market yet but it's on my list for sure! Come on out ya'll SHOP LOCAL!!
This eclectic group of stores, bakeries and miscellaneous eateries is one of the reasons that so many people are flocking to East Nashville. While some of the shops might be more expensive then your garden-variety, the abundance of parking, the generally friendly staff, and the easy access to the place make it an easy choice on a regular basis.
Enjoyed taking a stroll through this neighbourhood of shops that carry unique items. Pretty different vibe from Broadway, downtown Nashville. A little disappointed to find some shops closed but we managed to pick up a few items made by local artisans. Always like to support local shops & artists when we can.
Hard to loacte. All Google info on East Nashville is not specific about this. So tool us a while with local ped3steian help to get there. Best is to Google for Brown Cow restaurant and walk towqrds it. Once you get here, via a pleasant walk down the historic district, quaint shops and eateries
Really cool local shops - so glad we stopped in - take time to look around as it can be a bit of a maze (in a good way). Amazing customer service and people who want to help you and even other businesses by suggesting other places close by if they don’t have what you need/want.
A few cute places with some decent things to look at or buy. More boutique style. The place where you can buy t shirts and jewelery and send kids to school was awesome. Lots of places to sit and relax. No shops open on Columbus Day though :(
You wanna support a small business or two? This is the place to do it. Excellent place to browse small boutiques for an incredible range of products, food, clothing, and more. The antique store here is real cool even just to wander through.
A charming mix of eclectic shops, offices, restaurants, and gyms. Each is unique and worth exploring! Abundant parking spaces make it easy to shop here. Plus, it's a community of local entrepreneurs and that's always worth supporting!
This was a cute little shopping center with a variety of stores and restaurants (I highly recommend the international coffee and tea co.). Parking is limited and located behind the shopping center but it is free to park.
Really interesting place, but what store is open when is really spotty. If you need something specific this may not be the place for you, but if your more just shopping, for sure check it out! Great selection all around
Took my girlfriend to one of the shops that sell bathbombs. Bought her a couple bathbombs and bought a few bars of the soap. Wasn't a fan of the soap bought better soaps for less. My girlfriend did enjoy the bathbombs.
Cute area but disappointed in the shops. Although covid rules are still in effect- most shops were empty, closed, or didn’t have much in them. There’s a pet/dog shop that’s awesome though, lots of items and friendly
I recently went there for the first time. The ships are super cute. I particularly loved Her Bookshop and Konadu (hand crafted soaps and more). I had the loveliest conversation with the owner.
Super cute places. Stores could use a few more options. I just say that because a woman was trying on a sweater I loved but they didn’t have another one but people are super nice
So cute, such a great little neighborhood it is local as well as tourist worthy. It has many shops and many restaurants. We had a very nice time and look forward to returning.
Very cool design and nice options of smaller businesses. Bathroom is currently located through a construction area though. Would be nice to not have to walk through that.
Very interesting part of Nashville. Friendly people, limited shopping. The Wild Cow Vegetarian Restaurant was definitely worth the trip though. Tasty, healthy fare.
Cool bohemian area of Nashville. We hit a couple vintage shops as well as The Three Crows bar, which is a great spot. A fun alternative to Downtown or The Gulch.
Fun, locally owned shops. Grab a bubble tea or coffee at Int'l Coffee and Tea and browse for gifts for you or others. Friendly shop owners. Great values.
Cool arrangement of shops and local small businesses in east Nashville. The layout is simple but efficient. A nice one stop shop for all things local.
Eh, I wouldn't bother. Stores aren't too exciting. Better off checking out stores in Germantown (Wilder) and Buchanan Arts District (Emil Edwin, etc)
Quiet but cute block of independent merchants with t-shirts they made and jewelry for charity, etc. Cool finds for sure and a great girls' outing.
The shopper in Fatherland are conveniently located in East Nashville, one block off Shelby Ave. Near 5 points at Woodland St. Come, Experience,
Local Taco you have to try this place, the atmosphere, food is excellent. Next door Frisson a specialty ice cream shop next door is awesome.
This is a new shopping area so quite a few stores were not open for business or not yet leased. Give them time, it will be quite popular.
I go here to eat it Far East Nashville. It's a neat little shopping center, and I love Far East Nashville food, and the staff is awesome!
Many of the stores were closed when we went on a Saturday morning but we still ended up enjoying shopping around here for a short while.
Like a walk down memory lane. I've known this area for years and WHAT a transformation it has made. Glad to see the growth in this area!
I grew up in this neighborhood and it still holds a special place in my heart . To see what the tornado has done breaks my heart .
It's a little too yuppy for my tastes. Outside of one particular shop, it's not something I would actively go out of the way for.
Hidden little gem in Nashville. There's about a dozen or so cute little shops, and some good Vietnamese food - check it out!
I love visiting Emily Arrow's SingAlong Shop! It's more than an adorable shop, they have fun programming for young children!
Pretty cool little shopping area.Cozy feel kindda reminds me of the shops in Gatlinburg. Everyone is nice and very helpful.
Check out NancyBGoods! Such a cool fashion boutique at reasonable prices. One of my favorite places to shop in Nashville.
This facility look great from the outside I'm going to check and see if I can get to go and do some more evaluating

A nice shopping district with a variety of shops! It's a great place to visit and explore on a day off!
Interesting cluster of small businesses with unique flair though many were closed on Sunday afternoon.
Great place to shop for authentic Nashville souvenirs. Where I take my guests when they come to town.
What a cute little selection of shops! I recommend getting some cheese cake at The Cake Project.
So many interesting local boutiques food that accommodates many eating styles and allergies
Cute little local street of local owned shops only. Worth the visit if you're in the area.
Very cool little shopping area with alot of trendy and homemade items. Well worth a visit.
I was in the area and dropped by to check on a good friend I hadn't heard from in awhile.
A few shops that sell mainly the same stuff. Definitely wasn't worth the walk we made.
The Fatherland district is a great place to spend the afternoon. Pet-friendly and all!
Great selection of little boutiques, and follow me cheese has such a great selection!
Not necessarily where I would spend my money. Many unique shops to kill some time in.
Amazing place to shop if you dont like shopping. It is a cute artistic neighborhood
Unique gift shops, some featuring handmade items such as jewelry, love going there.
Lots of cool local shops in this area, definitely check it out if you get a chance.
Interesting little area. First time visiting. Lots of little shops and restaurants
Very rundown shops, not worth the trip over. Only a hand full of stores, not 20+
Quaint little shopping area. Small businesses offering a wide array of goods.
One of my favorite little districts in Nashville. The Good Fill is my go to.
Such a unique area with all your looking for! You gotta see it for yourself!
Love this area. Still healing from the tornadoes, but beautiful and popping
Great for tourists to explore, close to a lot of great restaurants and bars
A great selection of small local boutique shops and delicious restaurants.
Cute bunch of shops but so specific not sure how they'll stay in business
Far East Nashville!! A Profound Excursion into Vietnamese Culinary Art!!
Lots of neat, unique small businesses. A decent amount of free parking.
Beautiful selection of hand picked stores with wonderful atmosphere.
If you are into specialty shops and promote main street this is it

Great fun wandering around after eating at The Wild Cow!
I didn't even know about these spots but they were cool.
Really cute place to walk around, grab a bite and shop.
