I called the Glebe fire department to ask about a neighbours (who were not home) smoke detector that had been going off for a long time, and the man that I spoke to was incredibly helpful. He asked me all the right questions to get to the bottom of what it could have been to set it off and told me what I should do next. My little girl and I were walking past one day last year and we met the loveliest fireman. He invited us in for an impromptu tour and my little girl (who was 4 at the time) was absolutely thrilled. I am very grateful for that wonderful day as my daughter still talks about it and it will forever be one of her fond childhood memories. Glebe firefighters came to visit our preschool today and they were super amazing! All the firefighters were absolutely lovely, super friendly with our children and even accommodated to our bilingual nature. We highly appreciate them for taking time out of their day to visit us and let us explore their truck! Muchas Gracias bomberos!!
