Thank you thank you thank you more again for helping me navigate this god-awful city and my love and hate relationship with it. I found this place and I have been excited ever since four loads of laundry for $10 well what I consider a load of laundry they're only 275 / washer and then it's like $0.50 to dry thank you for saving my sanity my soul and the population of San Francisco

The only real issue I had was when the washing machine didn't count the money I put in. I let the man in charge know about the problem. He said, "as long as the machine work's it ok. You must have done something wrong." It's not about the money it's about the machines working properly. So I have to push real hard to get the coins to count.

Great place, it's located obviously in a questionable area in San Francisco, but it is beside a police station and the inside is clean! I did my washing here for the 3 months i lived in the city. I usually go for a $5 wash and a $1 dry. washing could be as cheap as $3.50 i believe, but I like to pick a larger washer.

Dryer doors were slammed by some customers violently. Restroom were able to be used by customers and staff but that is changed. I told one a staff member I didn't want a container bottle plastic bleach I bought from her she refused to give me money. Washing is cheaper. Not all the staff I saw smoking cigarettes.

Super convenient, plenty of machines, reasonable prices. All the machines worked well that I used, will be back next time I've gotta get some washing done. They've got a whole range of different sized washing machines too, so look to the back if you've got a smaller load of washing!

My clothes were still a tad bit dirty after the first load. It was a small load, so I don't know why this happened. I had to wash them twice, in a different machine the second time around to actually get em nice and clean. Other than that, everything went smooth.

What an absolute gem of a place. People from all walks of life together under one roof interacting amicably and doing their laundering for a very fair price. Blessedly old school in a high tech city. If I wasn’t a tourist I’d launder here weekly…

If you want to hit an intersection of a Tenderloin cleansing and an ethnic wash n dry come to First Coin. Hint: always count the coins you put in the machines in case it doesn't work you can tell the manager to reimburse.

Nice place to do laundry but filthy place and holes in the walls okay but the young male employee is the only nice employee they have there but they use the same filthy mop to mop the floors with daily

It's a laundry mat. In the Tenderloin otherwise 5 stars. Tons of awesome front loader machines, plenty of dryers, and folding space. But stay with your belongings. It is the TL

Good place to do laundry in the tenderloin. Helpful staff, good, clean machines. Use the front washers, there bigger, and worth the price. M.W
