Place would be great for young families and kids. Not worth while for intermediate or advanced riders as all of the jumps are too small and close together for a full suspension mountain bike. Check out the bike park at Chestermere or Canmore Nordic Center instead. Exshaw also has a better practise track.
Worth the long drive. Skills park has a parking lot and a bathroom. Near the waste treatment plant, so a bit smelly, but not bothersome. There were different difficulty levels and three different 'areas'. Photos were from when it was really smokey from the forest fires.
A nicely maintained skills park with a variety of features for upping your game on the trails. Kudos to the volunteers who pushed for this and keep maintaining it. Understandably it has seen a tremendous uptick in use during the 'rona so watch out for little ones
Had a lot of fun here with my kids. If your children are younger I recommend going earlier in the day, as later when it’s busy not all the teens etc are aware of their speed / not always considerate (which is okay, this is what teens do sometimes haha).
The Calgary Mountain Bike Alliance (CMBA) has done a fantastic job with the design and quality of build of the bike park. Although restricted to not putting in dirt jumps, they've created a variety of pump tracks and skills courses that are
Great place to spend an afternoon with the kids. There is the main pump track and a small learners pump track and then a couple other longer single tracks to hone your skills on. A few advanced technical rock trails are available if you are
The only pump track close to Sundance community. I've been riding here every season. This is where I've learned a lot of skills for trail riding. It's a great place to enjoy biking with kids as well. There's a blue and green line to choose
This is a really nice place, I went looking for this place with my dad after my mom told us about it and it took a while but after accidentally passing it once we found it. It's a neat little area with 3~ levels of difficulty, although
Pretty nice but there isn't a lot to do here once you've explored the whole area. Some of the areas are starting to erode and there are a lot of sharp rocks that can puncture your tire if you are not careful. Biking here is actually a
Went here for the first time a couple nights ago. Wanted to see what it was like to figure out if my son could do any of it. There was only two other bikers there at that time so it was nice to have all the space to ride around.
What a great place for the little riders to have fun at. I only wish there were more in Calgary and area. For a place like Calgary that is so close to the mountains, we don't have near enough infrastructure to help MTB grow.
Nice fun place for smaller kids, and for teaching basic training. This location has a lot of pump tracks, and technical rock seasons. Everything at this location is mainly green rated, with the blues being almost green.
Again, a fabulous morning taking my two dogs for a walk! So many birds to watch! It's nice that the pups can stop for water in the river, but watch where you let them swim... the current is pretty strong.
So much fun! My kids (3&5) loved going here. There were lots of younger kids that can hold up the queue a bit so if you're looking for fast paced this probably isn't it. Or go when kids are in school :)
A fun skills park for cyclists of all ages and skill levels. For the most part everyone is respectful of each other's space. If you are just learning and looking for a quiet experience come earlier.
Very big, good variety. I can go there with my four year old grandson and both have a great time - him on his run bike. He also learns a lot by watching the older kids handle their bikes.
Relatively large for a city track. Great for kids and adults as it has a beginner area and some more intermediate tracks. Friendly place to hang out. Very family oriented.
Decent skills park in the city. Convenient location along fish creek. Go earlier in the day for singles or families, as it can be crowded with teens later in the day.
It's a pretty cool place for a little fun and to work on your bike skills. It could use a little work , but it's free and built by volunteeres.
Nice bike park. Lots of fun for kids and adults to practice up. It gets so busy on warmer weather. Limited parking.
This place is awesome bike trail. Amazing playground for bike enthusiast and good for everyone

It is some what good the jumps need to be rebuild because it is super worn-out over all not worth it
Pretty great for kids. Mostly basic stuff but really nice for access and the price is great.
Great place to go have some fun with friends and the family. Good for all ages and skills.
Very fun bike park with a good variety of tracks for all skill levels.
Needs some TLC… who maintains this poor dirt pile?
Awsome area for keeping fit physical exercises.
