I hope put here - and -10000000 6 days ago. I brought my latte to check up only. But they recommend him some teeth out.(for MAKEING MONEY). I tried to trust them.(I had a experience here. (I brought sick My Choco there to doctor and she(some who) said she(choco) is very good..... and he died 4days after.( I didn't complain) He(latte) hasn't been eating 5days after operation(the recommend teeth extraction) and I visited this beautiful place here and I complained about it. Beautiful manager said you didn't call us in 25hours about it. I argued with her... but she was very confident I signed the form which I don't know. I have been the this Vet for long time and they have been given text message evey sigle time they booked for me and didn't have to answer and reply whichis I didn'thave to. This time. They gave me a message yesterday morning about a latte 3pm today they booked for me usually. Today I visited here(They booked which they messaged me) after for Latte who haven't eaten for 6dys days today. But here beautiful manager cancelled this one because of we argued yesterday (if you(the manager)are disagreement with it please call me and I will explain to you why you shouldn't be Vet for manager) While I was very upset around there here.. some lady reached me. And she said do not come to here about it. Just vaccinations. (My latte was play well. But now he is very bad condition from this Vet) 7YEAES HERE THIS VET here. I LOST ONE WHO I loved. I DO NOT WHAT TO LOSE AGAIN... PLEASE LISTEN IF YOU LOSE YOUR FAMILY.. HERE IS BEST PLACE.

Took both my cavaliers here for a while, spent a lot of money on tooth extractions that I trusted were necessary. They recently told me one of my dogs needed more teeth out so this time I chose to find a second opinion. got him operated on by another vet and they told me he had only needed a clean and I was only charged a minute fraction of what Fitzroy vet clinic quoted me. I can’t believe this! I’m left wondering how many teeth my poor boys have had removed without needing them to be. One of our dogs can’t have beloved denture sticks anymore because Fitzroy vet clinic removed so many of his teeth when they probably only needed a good clean. Very disappointing, will be telling everyone to avoid.

Although alot of the staff are incredibly knowledgable and lovely, I've found there is no continuity in information given in regards to advice for our pets. Messages are clearly not communicated and surely under the current climate, I appreciate the lack of staff. But in regards to medical care for our animals I would at least appreciate a call back even to say we will get to you. On numberous occasions I found the Practice manager, Olga promise to find out further information and never following up. High turnover of staff is also a slignt concern. Won't be taking any of my pets here again after many years of coming here.

Will not be taking my pup to this vet after dealing with one of the rudest and least helpful staff members when I called up to book an appointment. Offering blunt and rude responses to my questions regarding being put on a waitlist and questions regarding health concerns of my pup. Apparently a hassle to help me with anything, not sure if this was to do with me being a new customer but pretty sure that’s not how customer service works… appointment has been cancelled and will not be calling again, which is a shame because I live two streets away so would have been super convenient!

We’ve been taking our pet dog Hattie here for over 5 years and the team down at Fitzroy Vet Hospital have been fantastic. We signed up for the Best for Pets program and have the peace of mind of being able to visit whenever we need with genuine care and affordable prices. Our dog has had a knee operation, teeth cleaning, blood tests, ear infections etc. We love this vet and recommend it to all of our friends and family. Please keep up the great work and don’t fall into the trap of many other vets of trying to pray on people’s vulnerability and only think about making money..

Using the clinic website I booked an appointment for my pet and when I arrived at the clinic, I was informed that the appointment time was 10 minutes earlier than what I had booked. The staff was unapologetic and dismissive, saying that I should have received a confirmation text which had changed the time I booked (without asking me to confirm). On top of that, the lack of empathy when I expressed my concerns about a lump on my pet leg is really what no one would want to see from their vet. At the end, the manager asked me to come back, well I don't think I ever will.

Very rude, not helpful for training puppy's with disability. Trainer had a go at me for asking a question; "how do I say No to my puppy" they said in a rude manner "NEVER YELL NO AT YOUR DOG" I never learnt how to ask no to my deaf dog! Made to feel very in welcome from the puppy school teacher. I did not go back. Not worth the time going. I already taught my puppy everything they try to teach... Just not actual help you ask for! They don't know anything.. and yes this is the same place. Was before COVID. We have a much better vets now.

extremely frustrating experience with this clinic & their staff lack of communication, they even gossiped about my spoodle & another clients Dog about our breed choice! its a real shame these people put a stain on an industry that is struggling in many aspects but they don't do themselves any favors to make things worse, the bandage was poorly applied and to my shock there was blood stains on my dogs paws and hindlegs....... DO NOT GO TO THIS CLINIC!!

Many thanks to everyone at Fitzroy Vet Hospital for taking such great care of my elderly and sickly cat Mitch while he was there over the last 2 weeks. He has come home a much healthier boy and I can tell he enjoyed the attention, care, affection and medical overseeing while in the cattery. Can't recommend you folks highly enough. Well done.

excellent, fitted us in on an extremely busy day, gave clear and detailed Information about the procedure for our dog and gave excellent recommendations. Everyone working there was extremely nice and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Seem to love dogs and really made a stressful situation a thousand times easier.

Cant give high enough praise to the team at this place. We've brought our greyhound here several times and the care he (and we) receive is amazing. The staff are always super friendly. We get helpful advice. And our pooch loves it too. Highly recommend. Thanks team for looking after our fur child so well.

Been here yesterday for my cat’s health Check-up. Dr. Jimmy did his best checking up my cat with his warm-heart. I could literally see his love and caring toward cat (animal). Been through other vets also but it was my first time ever impressed by a vet :) I would 100% recommend this vet for sure.

My dog and cat have been coming here for years and the vets and vet nurses are so caring and helpful. They make sure we’re kept up to date on any occasions where the pets need to be in for the day, and you can tell they’re real animal lovers from the way they treat our pets.

I've always experienced excellent service for my animals (2 cats and 2 dogs). I also love the fact that there is liberal use of Feliway in the consult rooms so that felines like Felix can feel pretty chill whilst they're getting seen to.

Fitzroy vet went above and beyond to help us save our cat when financially it looked like we were going to have to give up on him. He pulled through after endless care from them. Would highly recommend them to anyone with a loved pet!

Excellent cattery. The staff are friendly and take great care of our little guy when we travel. Open until 8 most nights to pick up or drop off after work which is super handy. Separate cat and dog waiting areas to keep everyone calm.

Fitzroy vet hospital looks after my cat, Frankie, now that the Carlton vet has closed. Frankie has had a great experience here so far and will be in the cattery soon while we travel overseas. Lots of services and products available.

Excellent, caring staff and very reasonable pricing. Tim took great care of Willow and followed up with us by phone later that night to check if she was OK. That extra care makes a big difference in such a stressful situation.

Great caring staff, the vets are always so holistic in their approach to diagnose our dog. We pay the $30/ month and it is worth it! You get access to their doggie showers and free vet check up and appointments.
