Disgusting bathroom, atrocious service. Would give them 0* for the disgusting experience. Bathroom is filthy, water was barely dripping from the faucet, impossible to wash the hands before meal. Soda machine is broken, they are trying to sell the bottles of drinks. I ask for a large glass to use it for regular water, manager says "NO" and hands me the tiny water cup. Are you serious? This is my first time here, I order my burger and go on my way. Five minutes later the burger arrives, I try eating it and it is undercooked and has NOTHING IN IT. Just two patties and bread. I go to the cashier and ask him why there is nothing in my burger and cashier says "oh, everything else is extra and you have to tell us what you want." Hello McFly, how do I know that I have to tell you that I want stuff in my burger if you don't ask??? Hello, customer orders a burger and you don't think that maybe two patties and bread is not what he wants for $10??? Zero stars, horrible experience. Do not visit at any cost!!! I will be challenging this charge on my credit card.

Our family went here after skating City Skate. It was my adult brother and his friend(96), my husband and I(97), and my sister-in-law and 2 nephews(98). My brother and his friend and my husband and I recieved our orders 10 minutes after placed. Ten minutes after that three more orders had been called, but not my sister-in-law's, so I went to check. I could see the bad sitting on the prep table with one sandwich sitting, waiting to be made. The manager asked me what I needed, I said that 98 was my order and was it ready. He said it was waiting on the veggie sandwich (it was sitting there filled with veggies, just not put together and wrapped up). I said ok and walked back to tell everyone. Ten minutes and 5 more filled orders later my sister-in-law went to check. The same manager told her that we were now waiting on fries. Long story short, it took 45 minutes and 13 orders before hers to get my nephews dinner! Plus, the manager when confronted a 3rd time belittled my sister-in-law and gave every excuse in the book. Shame on you five guys.

4 of us were going to see Joe Bonamassa last Friday night, we got into town 2 hours early so we could have a meal b4 the show started, it was about 6.30pm, the place was packed, and had only 1 person taking orders, my wife and I decided to split a cheese burger and medium fries with medium ice tea ($21) we waited about 30 minutes, and F#%K the peanuts, thanks but no thanks, when we finally got our burger, I went to pump the ketchup dispenser, and it was empty, it took me about 5 minutes to get someone attention, to give me a couple paper ramicans of ketchup, also no straws for tea, gotta say, burger wasn't bad, fries pretty good, the couple we were with spent $42 on 2 burgers, they never did get any ketchup,as they couldn't get anyone's attention, so we shared ours,we spent almost an hour there, and, ketchup pump was never filled, nobody cleaned the tables, they just brushed the wrappers and such off tables, never wiped them down, I'm sticking with In and Out Burgers, learned a lesson, have dinner b4 you go downtown

I have never gone into a fast food restaurant and been so discussing. There was literally a table that was littered with a large amount of fries and other trash. The floors we ridiculously gross The floors were sticky and littered with food. As we left I needed to use the restroom and was ready to walk out as my expectations were quite low. However, I was amazed at how incredibly clean it was. Finally a very well presented and very friendly got there and immediately started cleaning and greeted us and asked if we were okay. She made this visit bearable. For additional information we were there on 8/6/19 between 1:30-2:00 as we were going to an event that evening at Comerica. I hope this evaluation will help to improve the quality of this establishment.

Roach was spotted lol Went here on First Friday, it was basically empty when my friends and I went in. 2 of them ordered burgers, 1 ordered just fries w/ a milkshake and myself + another friend just wanted a drink. I got a large drink and wasnt charged! my friend got a small drink and was charged though lol. The staff was really sweet but the place was pretty messy, i understood maybe it was bc of First Friday so no biggie. Then a bunch of people starting rolling in out of no where and it was almost closing time! We left at about 10pm on the dot, my friends werent done eating but once we spotted a roach roaming around, we had to leave. But overall, fast service and very sweet staff. If it wasnt for that damn roach id give it 5 stars

Everytime I go to Five Guys, it costs a little more, and you leave a little less full. It now costs almost $19 for a double Bacon cheeseburger, Med fries, and Med drink. The patties are not as big as they used to be, and that is messing with my interpretation of the taste. I swear it's not as good but I can't be sure if it's just because of sticker shock. The fries, are still delicious, and might be the only thing besides the hot dogs that I ever get at full price. The peanuts, as always, are a welcome and delightfully gratis offering. 15 years ago this novel chain's M.O. was the stuff of legends, now it's just a mediocre foil-wrapped burger that takes almost 10 minutes to make even though you're one of 2 people waiting for food.

Went in after a great comedy show to get a great burger...asked to use the bathroom before I order and the female Alem in the black shirt rufused to let me use the restroom before I order. I told her I was going to but really needed to used the restroom first she still redused. I started to walk out and decided this needs to be addressed so I asked the cashier what the other person's name was and Alem started yelling her name at me and said I'll even write it down for you and then in a snarky voice said have a great day! Seriously your passive aggressiveness is not required. Terrible service and left hungry, even though I used to eat her about once a week I will NEVER be back.

Been going to five guys for years, never disappoints. Never been to this specific five guys before, as I am not a local, but I have to say it was on-par with other locations. Killer shake, and juicy burgers (and don’t forgot to add grilled onions) Prices can be a little high tho compared to other chains, but overall not bad.

Definitely don’t go if you have peanut allergies, they fry their French fries in peanut oil. Even if you get a burger there is a chance of cross-contamination.

This is one of my daughter's favorite restaurants for a quick bite. This location is clean, the area is close to the convention center so very convenient, a 6-8 min walk. The location was clean, service friendly and food was very good. Very cold in the restaurant - it was a reasonably warm day but very cool inside. We took our food out, it was not comfortable ti eat inside. Typical Five Guys chain Restaurant located at Phoenix, in the shopping center parking area. Peanuts, great five guys potatoes and shakes and very good hamburgers cooked to your liking. They also have hot dogs, etc.

  • Yana Alex

Ahhhhh Five Guys...what can I say? You're an expensive fast food date sometimes but I wouldn't have it any other way. I can't just order fries without a burger because both are SO good. Their Cajun fries are arguably in the top three of my favorite fries. But the beef patties are almost something else entirely. Ask for jalapeños if you want a kick to your burger! The drink machines are my favorite. Lots of refills and so many options! Where else can you get peach Fanta? And if you're crazy like me....get a shake. Come on, spoil yourself. You only live once, make it a satisfying life.

  • Kelli Bullock

Place closes at 10pm, walked in at 9:25pm and was refused to be served. One employee told us they need to start on closing duties.. after making a fuss about being open for another 35 mins, we asked for the manager whom then said they dont have the "supplies". If you were out of burgers or whatever than I'm sure your employee working the register would have said that from the start and could atleast put a sign on the door so people dont continue walking in. Wont be back to this location!

Double Bacon Burger and the nearly endless sea of french fries! Can a middle aged man have it any better?! Well ok.. this place is a far second to Pete's Fish and Chips down on Van Buren east of 27th av. but, I didn't want to wait that long to get over there. So Five Guy's is pretty good for 2020. Sad though this place would have been an average even So So burger joint in the 60's. This is how bad McDonalds and the rest have brought down what was once an Icon of American Small Business.

  • William Hicks

It's really convenient that all the food is serves in a paper bag! The portions are generous and delicious. The other great thing about the bag is that it absorbs lots of the grease! I'm not in denial about the fact that th fries are FRIED in GREASE no less. I'd rather have it soaked into the bag then in my body though so I love the help from the bag. Excellent burgers and fries and all burgers/hotdogs can be bun-less for those of us with wheat issues!

  • V M

I ate here on a Thursday night because it was the only place open late besides Chipotle. My friend and I were tipsy and high, so we needed greasy food ASAP. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was delicious. I wish the frys were less crispy and without skins on.

This place messed up our on a burger. Teenagers can't even get a burger correct. Sat and waited for them to redo one burger. What's so hard on making a buns burger lettuce tomatoes and onions with pickle. My bun was burnt black. First time Ever trying five guys. I'm displeased and I well never ever eat there again. We also had to wait on them to redo our french fries. I asked for no salt and had to wait 2 minutes for fresh fries.

  • Edgar

Place when I entered was dirty. Meat party had no salt or pepper. The meat basically disintergrated into the foil. Meat was not cooked properly, and there was still meat blood. In which my wife put down her burger and threw it away with disgust. One cook was cooking without any shoes on. And another cook entered to work, and was very unprofessional dressed. We are probably never coming back here again. This place gets a zero.

  • Amanda Montgomery

It looks like the ratings are all over the place for this restaurant, and mines just kind of in the middle too so I'm sure this wont help anyone but oh well... I like the food here - I especially like the cajun frys - nom, but for the price I would expect more food. It was just too overpriced for an average burger. Cool atmosphere though, friendly staff, quick delivery to table... just wish prices were lower. ):

  • Suzana O'Malley

I love 5 Guys in general. Great food, friendly staff, and a fun atmosphere. If you haven't tried them please do so, as far as chain Burger places in my opinion it is the best.

The girls were super nice and the place was clean and empty (nobody was rushing them) at the time which is why I was so disappointed when I got home to see that my whole order was wrong, the burger was soggy and my fries were not Cajun; there was no reason for my food To be wrong and nasty.

Took so long to get put food with no one in line when we arrived. They also forgot to add fries to my coworkers order. Then when I get to my office it's not even the correct burger I order. I will never gi back to this location and I assume the end is near with this chain. Overpriced and always messy food. We only went because we had a gift card. This place sucks !

  • Heath Orrell

I stopped by after work for a late lunch and I love the fact that I had to wait for my food because that means the food was made fresh and not waiting for me under a heart lamp. The staff is always and the food is always served up hit and delicious. The fries are perfectly salted and the soda had that perfect, fizzy ratio. It made my long drive home enjoyable.

  • Yvette Cook

Over priced, especially in the downtown area I'm at during working hours. I ask regular fries and afterwards for no salt, but was given their special fries with the Cajon spice. Didn't notice until I got back to my office.

They do have very fresh food and you can pretty much customize your own burger. Where I get completely lost is the price. The food is good and deserves a try but that's about it. I have tried much better burgers for a much more reasonable price. I like the place and the good service and the fresh food but I doubt I will be a regular customer here.

Amazing to order lunch from on the weekends. They don't even cook the fries until I get there so I know by the time I get back to work they are still pretty warm! Good burgers, make sure you review your order before you place it!!! Never any problems on their end, just operator error on my end for messing it up :) Highly recommend!!!

  • Victor

I came in on a Friday night and the staff was horrible. Both, mine and my friends order had issues. Mine taking really long and his wasn’t even made. My friend had to go ask them to make it after figuring out he wasn’t going to receive it. I have been to better Five Guys’ location, this one really disappointed me

  • Jeff Lancaster

I tried something here: the hot dog without the bun with all the toppings. It was incredible! The staff made a small error when putting together my meal, but they were very quick to fix it, and made my experience wonderful. I love this joint...but I really like the staff here. Very hard working and happy people.

I went here to use the bathroom once. At Five Guys you are paying quite a bit for a burger but the stuff tastes amazing so it truly is worth it. This Five Guys is a great place to scarf down a burger early in the evening so that you can hit down town Phoenix hard and party all night long. woooooooo

I came into 5 guys late on a Saturday night with a hungry belly. After speaking with the manager, she was able to make me a cheeseburger/fries combo that was second to none! After stuffing my face for almost 15 minutes, I left the restaurant as a happy man. Thank you manager lady!

  • Logan S

The food is typical Five Guys quality, pretty good hamburgers and fries at an expensive price, but large quantities. The place just really isn't that well kept is the biggest knock off on this particular location. Usually not too busy though despite all the events in the area

  • Lourenco Paz

ok burgers. Prices keep going up with no mercy. Apparently burgers are getting smaller. Perhaps it is time to start bringing a ruler to measure burgers... Fries are still good but you can buy more than 10 lbs of potato with the money you spend on a regular fires...

Free peanuts in the waiting area. Food is good with large portions, freshly cooked always which can take some time (expected). however it is quite expensive for a burger joint. Peanuts are a cool gimmick but usually people are there to eat burgers and fries

  • Jimmy Durden

Good burgers, but they are a bit overpriced. If you have fries in a bag, they fill the bag up, BIG TIME. Here's a life hack for you, I like to go to Jimmy John''s next door and get a sandwich, then come next door at get a sack of fries to go with it. Yum.

We came in last night (10/27, 8:30pm or so) to eat before a comedy show. Ordered, got our food and then watched the cook come out from the back popping the pimples on his forehead. Yeah..... what the entire heck.

A fun-filled dinner was served. Thanks to the attentive staff of this restaurant. We were really famished and I didn’t have the time to be patient, honestly. But I’m glad we ended up having dinner in this place.
