I’ve been coming to this rv park for a few weeks this time of year for about 15 years, not because of its looks but because it’s located closely to family I voyage to visit. Amenities are basic and surely outdated. The water pressure is low the sites are jammed close and the bathrooms are disgusting with bugs. The “new” staff had tried to charge me more then I was due. But what’s worse is the attitude of the owner. He came by my RV and unattached my hose and told me to go buy and new one (mind you this is literally two weeks old) because the faucet is ancient and stripped and was leaking. He then proceeds to steal it. When I asked for my hose back he said it’s his now and drives off with his maintenance man in a golf cart. When I went to the “office” and addressed the lady he came bashing through the back door threatening police, I then recommended he called them since he stole my property. He hooted and hollard trying to make himself right when he was not only dead wrong but explicitly arrogant!! I demanded a refund for my paid days because I was leaving and will NEVER give them my business again and also for him to return my hose. What a shame a man of his age to act so obnoxious!!! I do not recommend this business for not only the ancient appearance but unacceptable behavior from owner and his staff!! The only person who was nice and I can’t say bad about was the lady in the office who’s been there for years.
Fleetwood rv park was a very nice place in a good spot, right off interstate. Quiet, considering how close to traffic the park is. Parks appearance, I'd say they give . Park Looks great We give them 5 Our trip went a bit like this We arrived late trying to find a park, no reservations ♂️. they were all closed then we found a place right off our route so we pulled in, it is closed too. We called office number on door as directed to do so for after hours and left message. We were about to leave when we received a call back,, it was a very warm sounding elderly voice, she said she called us back as soon as she could and how could she help us. I replied, explaining our situation to her as she walked up to our rv, on her phone with her dog in arm. she said come on in, let's get you settled in... This was now 1030 pm, they closed at 5pm. Awesomeness, this woman and her were so warm and comforting, calmed me right down anyway, I'm just saying. I think you get what I'm saying.. They ran this place professionally and lived there, the area was well maintained respect, we rested quietly as well. Which is surprising being so close to the traffic as I stated earlier. We had a good stay and felt very safe and welcomed, considering the times we're living in these days, Wonderful safe travel experience. I recommend this place 5 .
Paid $45 a night for 3 nights. Full hookups (50amp, water, sewer). We arrived after hours but all the paperwork was prepped for us. Kinda tricky taking a big rig (42 ft 5th wheel) through the park to circle back around to the front row. Only the front 8 or so spots are reserved for nightly/weekly stays. The rest of the spots are monthly or annual with mobile homes in the back. We were concerned about being on the front row next to a busy road. It wasn't too bad. Most of the traffic noise died down at night and we only woke up a couple times to some sirens or loud motorcycles. Our site 1A was the first spot right by the entrance/exit and the dump station so throughout the day we did hear a lot of traffic going through. But not much at night. The sites are a bit tight next to your neighbor and on the shorter side. We fit our rig but the truck stuck out into the road for parking. There's enough room but it's a bit smaller. It was nice being just down the road from a Walmart and Publix. We made several quick runs to the store. And we got Propane around the corner at Ace Hardware. Only issue was that our Verizon jetpack had a pretty weak signal. AT&T was better. Enough to do video calls and stream Netflix but not very quick at downloading and loading websites/email.
Beth and I stayed here for our Mayo Clinic visit. It is a much older park with a lot of permanents in the rear, but there are nice concrete sites up front that easily fit class A, even with a tow. I cannot say enough good about Amber and staff. The Mayo is not always a perfect schedule and changes/additions happen. They are more than willing to be flexible and realize the situation is difficult. The sites are close, but this is not a resort. They are level and have a little patio, some have a picnic table. The rest rooms are old - but clean. The staff seems to be out daily doing things to make the area clean and tidy. We used Uber to get to and from the Mayo and had no issues. It is an industrial area, but i noticed no issues or problems. We will be back in a couple months. As a side note, we had an AC problem and Amber provided me some names of mobile service techs. I got George Ferrell on the phone and he tried to talk me through a solution for about 30 minutes, but alas i asked him to come out. He was prompt, courtesy, and professional. I highly recommend him if there is a need
Fleetwood RV Park is a diamond in the rough. My wife and I parked our Class A RV here for several months so that I could be close to downtown for work. The park has a mixed group of short term, long term and permanent residents. While it is centrally located on a main street, you might think it is a loud park. But, in fact, the park is very quiet. They keep the place clean and well maintained and manage to bring in new, respectful residents. I highly recommend this park for anyone looking for a couple days of quiet rest, a couple months of secure living, or a long term solution to the otherwise expenses cost-of-living in America. Everything you need is close by: Publix for great groceries; Walmart & The Village Café (across from WalMart) for the best Breakfast in town; and the Southern Grill on the South Bank for the best Dinner around.
No clue about a review with only 2 stars It had to be in imposter now this is officially Christian Highsmith giving Fleetwood RV park a five star rating Amber has always been there to answer my car almost 1st ring infact it has always been clean workers have been helpful and considerateAnd always cheerful and smiling :-) Not to mention they keep their trailer park town and country that I Highsmith currently resides at in tiptop shape in work orders or answered the time they are put in luck later on a trailer on one of their lots thanks Review officially made by The one and only Chris HighSmith so to whoever the imposter maybe if you make reviews for me make sure you at least tell some of the truth.
Staff was great. Nice and clean spot. We actually were so blessed to get a spot every rv park was full. I called them a second time by mistake and received a call back saying that they got a cancelation. So alway be greatfull Perfect for our visit. Here to visit our daughter who husband is stationed at the military base. Site are a bit tight but seen other sites that are tighter. But close to everything beaches etc... My only issue has nothing to do with the park. Its campers dogs. Barking and yelping at 230 in the morning. Not a dog hater.. love my dog. Not with us though. But all good. We stay here again. Thank you Fleetwood RV Park

Great spot on Philips Hwy, no thrills or beautiful natural scenerary that you're used to in most country rv parks, however the grounds are about as beautiful as can be in the heart of city, still plenty of beautiful trees and lovely lush landscaping tucked away in this place.. The proximity of the location is amazing, the staff are super friendly, nicely fenced in dog park/run, and it's a very clean & quiet place to park your buggy and enjoy being centrally located in the big city of jacksonville! Highly recommend.

Great value
Staff was very helpful and friendly. The sites SUCK. I was looking to stay for a month and the spot they put me in was an absolute mud hole. I couldn't even get my rv unhooked from the hitch even when placing extra wood blocks under the trailer jack, it simply pushed them down into the mud. There were fire ants all over the place. The streets inside are so narrow i almost hit multiple objects just trying to get into my space. Maybe if it was more dry this would be a serviceable 3 star type place... Or maybe the over night areas are larger and better maintained, but as it stands the monthly sites are terrible.
Not a bad place. Located close to downtown JAX just off the highway. The road noise isn't terrible. The facilities are clean and OK. Full hookup, showers, laundry, and good prices. Don't get me wrong, it's a Mobile Home Park with some transient sites. It is NOT a resort. If you need a place to put your camper this will suffice. Amber in the office is AMAZING! One of the most customer oriented people I've ever met. I wish I came across more people like her.

I lived here at fleetwood for a couple of months and let me just say I absolutely love it. They made sure I was taken care of at all times. It’s a nice place to be and nice neighbors to be around and most importantly very kind and positive staff! Anytime you walked in they would greet you with a smile! This park is also very quiet, there’s hardly ever a disturbance, and it’s only 20 min away from the beach and about 3 min from the main highways! Very nice little place to be and I absolutely love it. Planning on moving back here soon!
Fleetwood RV is awesome. We called yesterday for a long-term spot and got in today. We have been trying to get in there for almost a year. We finally hit the right time. The staff Danielle and Amy were so sweet, professional, and informative. They explained everything and showed us around. The park is clean and has everything you would need. Water, sewer, electric, laundry room, bathrooms with showers if you need it, dampers, and a dog park. We are so excited to call this home.
I really liked this little RV site. CLEAN! Very easy to get to as it's right off the road. Nice CONCRETE pads to set up on, and the roadways were very easy to manuever and park in. Only real downside to the place was the constant noise from the truck lot nearby. I will definitely stay there again because of how close and reasonably priced this place is to everything in Jacksonville! The picture I posted isn't of the RV park, but it's gorgeous and about 10 minutes away!
The park has smaller spaces, but that's fairly common in parks built 60+ years ago. It is absolutely an oasis in this part of Jacksonville. We own a 40'4" 5th Wheel. You cannot get anything larger in. Having lived in Jacksonville the previous 19 years after selling hearth and home in March 2019, this is centrally located and just a few blocks from I-95. The management is top shelf and smiles real smiles. We highly recommend the campground.
Nice older park with very friendly people running it. I stayed one night in a pull through space. The park driveways are very narrow and congested. I would NOT recommend this park if you have a big rig. I was barely able to maneuver into my space with a 36 foot motorhome and a tow vehicle. I would also recommend you not arrive past dark. After dark it’s even more difficult to see the obstacles as you park in your space.
The lady from the office said she would call back in a few days, to let me know when is the next spot available, me being like the second on the waiting list at the time, like she claimed. She never called. Secondly, checking the place in a Sunday evening, I noticed a lot of disturbing noise in the park , dubious people coming and going to the mobile homes, tresspassing rv spots, glad I did not stay there, after all.
I would NOT STAY HERE. Web site pics are not at all what this place looks like. We pulled in didn't even know if we would fit in this place. (36 foot toyhauler) We barely fit. Lots are very tight, a lot of permit residents, who's lots are very nasty, messy, and junk piled in them. Traffic is loud, do to being at front of park by road. We will not stay there again, and would NOT recommend this park.
We have been to the park on and off, mostly on, for the passed 7 years. Amber and the staff are great. Good location. Bare bones showers and laundry facilities. When it rains the lots gets really wet and nasty. There is no pool or swings or basketball courts. But the rent is really reasonable and they keep the place nice. A lot of professionals use the the park and seem to be content.
Great long term stay; I've been here going on 2 years + and I've not had any issues at all. Overnight spots are not the biggest; but that should not be an issue for you. Wifi signal is great and If you are long term like me, you can get Comcast Cable for internet service on a monthly basis. Freshly paved roads and brand new washers and dryers. Great park & Friendly staff
Awesome and accommodating staff, Amber is super nice and helpful. Pretty close to the city, and really clean and comfortable for the most part in my opinion anyway. I personally like this park most out of all the local one's in this immediate area. I highly recommend Fleetwood to anyone looking for a nice spot for a quick camp or an extended stay.
Good central location for Jax. Amber at front desk is wonderful, as well as her husband that works maintenance. Very well kept place. Quiet and calm, safe. If they keep prices as is for what is offered, it is worth the price. Not a vacation spot but just for passing by in Jax for beaches and downtown. Most in RV park are long timers.
My wife and I are long haul truck drivers we had to drop our trailer at the military base and were able to get a spot here and plug into their power and water. we appreciate and are grateful that they had A spot that could accommodate our semi truck big skeeper,we would stay here again.. The people were very nice and helpful!!!
Awesome Campground. It's old school but reasonable price with cable and full hook ups. The spots are small but a great location. Sure the over night and week spots are right next to the road, but we don't really notice the road. Would totally stay here again for the FL vs Ga game week or visiting family and friends.
The park is mostly RVers staying for a week or season with sites up front for those staying a week or less. It's a great location for access to Jacksonville and the beaches and the Park is clean and well maintained but the bathroom/shower is below average and the neighborhood is business and industrial. Great staff.
Fleetwood RV Park is in a convenient location however, being right on Highway 1, it is a very noisy and dusty park. Mostly a residential park, it does not cater to the short term visitor. Having said that, the staff are all friendly. The laundry facilities are okay. I did not check out the bath house.
While I have not rented from this facility as of yet. I did speak with Miss Ami and her willingness to talk with me and provide help information has made me feel cared for even though I am not yet a resident. I can only imagine how she cares for the residents. Thank you for the chat Ami. …
Convenient park for what we were looking for: one night stay in Jacksonville to get our RV in to be serviced the next morning. Mostly permanent sites. Right on US HWY 1. But the sun was shining, site wasn't bad to get into, full hook ups and water pressure was the best we've ever had.
I really like this place. It’s calm and beautiful, and the facilities are really useful and clean. What I would recommend is maybe putting a snack vending machine in the laundry room with the soda machine. I feel like a lot of people would use it for a quick snack, and I would, too.
Can't say enough about the friendly service at the front office! The spots for RVs are nice, but navigating around the park to get to the spots is a bit tough, and the mobile homes on site are probably some of the most low class and run down we have seen coast to coast.
This place is great! Will be back. Very well kept and clean. Manager is a little sweetheart and very accommodating! Close to Mayo hospital ....great prices....close to Walmart and Walgreens for those who need them (we did!). I highly recommend this RV park!
Tried to get a lot there and after I paid my $20 application fee and filled out the application they denied me because of my past they go back 10 years I have no felonies but I do have misdemeanors

The young Lady in office sure is a Great person I was inquiring info about the park which I still hope for an opening when it's time For us to move there with jobs bc I feel it will be a great park to be in she keeps me informed.she is awesome.
This is a great location being only 12 minutes from downtown. The park itself is very quiet and clean. The laundromat takes credit cards, cash and also phone app which is convenient. The bathroom/ shower house is kept reasonably clean. I'm
Although we have not yet stayed here overnight, we have plans to do so. The park is not new, but pretty well kept. The staff is extremely cordial and helpful. The location makes this park very convenient in so many respects.
Very nice and very clean nice people live there that make good neighbors great family and animal friendly place to park and stay and enjoy your life no matter what your age

Stayed here needing to be close to the hospital. Turned out to be a very safe clean park with 2 very kind ladies in the office. Road noise is the only reason I gave it a 4. Thank you for being available and kind!
Friendly helpful staff. Park is mostly long term, permanent occupants with vehicles everywhere. Restrooms and showers were very clean and well maintained. Park next to a major road and very noisy even at night.
YEAH BUT THIS FLEETWOOD RV PARK IS THE FLEETWOOD MAC OF RV PARKS. THE EVANS FAMILY HAD A FAMILY REUNION HERE AND IT WAS WALKING DISTANCE FROM MY FAVORITE RESTAURANT. I ALSO BROUGHT MY BOWLING BALL HERE 5 STARS
Just pulled in. Met Amber at Office. Very polite. Then We were escorted following 2 men in a golf cart to our site. Nice pads for our 37 foot Motorhome & electric, sewer, water & cable all in same area.
Perfect 'side of the road' place to stay in Jacksonville. Convenient, nice people, fine amenities. Near a busy street, but with the fan on to counteract the humidity, the noise was negligible.
We have been coming here for the last 3 years. Some great improvements have been made to the property. Highly recommend for an overnight or month long stay. Thank you for your hospitality.
A nice quiet clean reasonably priced "stop over" when traveling. Out of the way. Not within walking distance of anything. Need map of area if want to "explore" or eat out.
Not recommended for children! Quiet, clean n restrooms good location

Nice, clean, quiet, centrally located park for anything in the NE FL region. Management was very helpful to my parents during their stay.
Good place to live, good people and we'll maintained probably the best and most reasonable priced in Jacksonville at today's inflation
The management is intrusive. They harass guests of renters and arbitrarily decide on what park rules to enforce and who has to comply
We only stayed overnight, it was quiet and clean, very nice and priced just right for a tight budget. Would definitely stay again
It is a great place to call home. Not a trip. Not a hotel. It is a RV park. I live there.

Good location, easy to lots, but noisy right on Rt 1 (Phillips Hwy). Very small lots, can't put out awning, very slow wifi.
Horrible neighborhood! Centerfold lounge a block away- in the middle of an industrial area. Will never stay here again.
Service is the best. Location is perfect if going to Mayo Clinic. More shade trees at the RV sites would be enjoyed.
This is Mike Kerrigan Paving and construction in Fleming Island we're doing the resurfacing on the Park new pavement
Best rv park in jax. Super friendly staff and great facilities. Food deliveries and uber / lift pick ups available.
Dogs over 25 pounds are not allowed for monthly renters, even if you bring your own trailer and keep them indoors.
Like this park. Found WiFi to be reliable. Nice paved pull thrus for overnighters/weekly. Friendly staff!
Wouldn't allow us to stay at their park because we have a "skoolie" after a 6 hour drive with our 3 kids!
Good location and price and friendly front desk, there are gentlemen's clubs nearby and some urban noise
Very accommodating. Bathroom area functional, good size lay dry area. Good location to local amenities.
How rude!! I just asked a question and she literally, like 10 seconds ago hung up on me. Unbelievable!@
Why can't you post daily, weekly, and monthly rates for someone to check without having to call.
Not bad, $45 closest RV park to Downtown, 10 miles... on a main street, Hwy 1 I think it was.
Great place staff keep you updated if anything goes wrong like hurricanes really nice people
Nice concrete pads good utilities a little tight for big rigs. Clean and well maintained.
Great place to stay if your visiting the Mayo Clinic. Amber is always kind and helpful.
We stopped here just for the night. Easy access from Rt 95. Clean bathroom and shower.
Amber and Sierra are very awesome ladies in the office. This place is super clean too.
