One of the only times I’ve utilised a travel agent and it will be the last. When booking with a so called “travel expert” you would expect expert advice, this is not the case with FC Hobart. We have been left to our own devices to figure out the ins and out of our trip. First time cruisers and we were not informed that we had to pre book dining and shows for our cruise, once we found out (through our own findings) it was too late and and most things were sold out. Now we will spend the first part of our cruise running about trying to secure spots for shows. We have been waiting 3 weeks for a refund of a hotel we changed. We have escalated and although they were able to change over our dining times, all other responses have been extremely lack lustre explaining all the “behind the scenes” issues that have caused the delays and issues. This should never be of concern to the end customer! Extremely unprofessional! They really need training and support in dealing with customer escalations as when it all hits the fan, nobody knows how to deal with it. You’re better off booking everything yourself through cruise websites, Expedia etc.

The worst experience I have ever had. Customer service and experience isn't a priority for this company. Booked a trip for my family to America, needed it to be seamless and stress free as i am travelling with 3 children under 5. Wouldn't take my calls and it would take 3 weeks minimum for replies to my emails. Couldn't get them to arrange accommodation and ended up doing this on my own. Took 3 weeks for a quote for travel insurance. Provided zero guidance on the cruise we booked so we missed out on being able to book the shows etc we wanted. Didn't send any updated travel documents until 3 days before our first flight. No one sat down with us to review our travel arrangements, even after all the changes. Still waiting for a refund on accommodation, it's been 5 weeks to date. Attempted to esculate this with the customer relations team. They offered me a small voucher to use at flight centre, this wasn't accepted as I will never use this company again and will ensure to spread my experience so others don't make the same mistake I did. Nothing but false advertising, they claim to be "travel experts", I didn't see this once.

We used Flight Centre when we were given a voucher as we normally book direct with airlines. We made our bookings for a wedding in Queensland. When the wedding was cancelled due to Covid we rang to arrange a change of dates and were charged an extra $300 to change our flights. Our friends had booked direct with the airline and were not charged any extra fee for the same flight .. not happy. Also when the time came to fly, our flights were changed the day before ... Twice ... We tried to get help from Flight Centre and they were not available. Tried the airline and they said we had to go through Flight Centre. Too bad if we were stranded as Flight Centre couldn't have cared less. We won't be using them again. UPDATE: As requested from the response below we contacted Flight Centre … mmmm surprise surprise no response

I always tend to be one of those "I'll book it myself" people. But I booked my dream flights to Japan and realized I was in over my head. I went into the flight center store after a so so email contact to see if I could get some help and a better picture of what I wanted to accomplish on my travel. I was fortunate enough to have absolutely everything sorted out and Traveled across the beautiful country of Japan doing everything I wanted and even something's I didn't realize I wanted to. All in all it was an amazing experience and I have already made more plans to jet off again soon and will be making sure to contact flight center...special shout out to the legendary guy who sorted it all. I have only had excellent, professional and “ over and above experiences “ from Flught centre. They are fantastic. I have full confidence in all their information and I have had extended insurance by e mail when unexpectedly staying on in Uk. I have had urgent advice and booking on flights during bushfires. They have also been extremely courteous and helpful to my 91 year old mother as plans kept changing. Stand out people are Laura and Jess in Collins’s st. Absolutely fantastic. Have tried to ring hobart flight centre after holding for a long time message says dont leave a message as the phone isnt monitored. Called back several times. Same each time. Went in to hobart but they would not speak to us. They said all operators had appointments but did not attempt to ask other members if they had an earlier appointment. Very disappointed.

I called last week and a young female was very rude and told me all the information l wanted from her was online and too many people were ringing and asking many of the same questions. Also, l am a bit concerned about refunds on cancelled flights being "taxed" by Flightcentre. A once highly regarded and ethical company has lost much of that shine. Dave.

Professional, efficient, courteous and friendly. We can highly recommend Flight Centre staff on Collins St, Hobart. Carla Griffiths was especially helpful and went above and beyond for us with changing our domestic flights so that we could extend our family Christmas in Canberra. Excellent customer service and much appreciated. We’ll be back!

Was attended to straight away on walk in without an appointment Service is ongoing with my booking . Tiffany Cao works hard . With all the covid requirements , changing all the time, it's well worth the $49 service fee .
