Huge waste of money! Their website says it's $3/person, but when we went today it was $5/person (including my 1 year old) + $3 for a cup of feed (+if you pay with credit card it's an extra $1). The animals were very aggressive in trying to get the food which made both my kids very nervous. My 1 year old started crying after about 20 seconds of walking in and cried the rest of the time. My almost 3 year old wouldn't get anywhere close to the fence and didn't want to try to feed the animals at all. He was very tense the whole time, and although he enjoyed seeing the goats and sheep, was ready to go after a short while. There are only 3 small pens, and a few of the fences were not sturdy at all. At one point I thought one of the bigger goats was going to knock down the fence while trying to get our food. It took us about 5 minutes to go through the whole thing. I could not wait to get out of there! Would not recommend to anyone. Also, there was no hand sanitizer or hand washing station at all, which I feel is a must with animals and especially during COVID. Luckily I had some with me, but this should be required.
The horse riding in the stockyards is fun for people with no riding experience at all. We had 4 kids, 2 had no experience and 2 are very experienced with years of lessons. My kids with the experience were bored but they were just excited to be on a horse! We had two ladies/workers take the kids & one of them was amazing. The other was kind of mean. She was yelling at the horse & yanking it around in a mean way. It made me a little nervous her doing that while one of my kids was up on it. I didn't see the horse acting up at all. Of course, she knows them better than I do, but I was petting the horse & loving all over it at the end because after all that yelling & yanking, someone needed to. The lady in the picture posted with my girls was just an amazing lady. She talked to us about growing up as a young girl, her dreams, her experiences. She really made the experience worth the expense. It is expensive for what you get. I pay less per week for horse riding lessons than what these kiddos got to do but again, they were just happy to be in the stockyards and up on horses altogether.
My kids and I traveled from Garland to Fort Worth today and decided to check out the Stockyards. We passed the petting zoo and I parked and googled it. Excited to see that their page showed Open we payed for parking and walked over. The lady running the place told us to wait a few minutes and proceeded to tend to tasks that in my opinion, could have been done at another time. We waited about 10 minutes as she poured up food cups, swept, ran a leaf blower...it was quite odd. I understand the need for keeping the place clean, but as a family with an anxious toddler waits? We decided to leave and the kids were quite bummed but I felt it rude for her to not tend to the customers first. We strolled the stockyard and ate lunch and noticed another family in the same position as we headed back to the car. Odd.
Took my 3 year old and 5 year old and was very disappointed. It says $3 per person but when we got there it was $5 per person all together for admission and 3 cups of food for the animals we paid $24 + $1 fee for using debit card. Thought it would’ve been way bigger but it was only 3 pins with some sheep, goats, and a lama that was it. You walk in a little circle around the 3 small pins and your done.. drove 45 minutes to get there not worth it! No workers there to talk to or anything. Just your 1 guy where you pay and that’s it! My kids were ok for like 15 minutes but then was board with it! Very hot in the tent also.
I loved it. I brought my two 3 year olds, one was afraid, one loved it. !! I read a review somewhere that this was $3 per person, but upon arriving I found it was $5 per person. I wasnt expecting to pay so much, but the fact that the kids got to do something different for a change was worth it. Also, they got to feed the animals. There were mostly goats, sheep from what I remember 1 cow, and a llama. Prices as of 3/20/2021: $5 per individual, $3 per feeding cup. Parking is $10.
I love this little petting zoo. I've been bringing my daughter for several years now. Not a huge variety of animals but there are many of the kinds they do have. They're so entertaining! I even had a little guy chew a hole in my dress when I wasn't paying attention I'm not even mad about it and now it's something we laugh about from time to time

When I hear petting zoo, I think of being inside a stall with the animals, but in this case, it was just 3 large pens with goats and sheep. But I understand why we can't be inside with them as some goats were very pushy with being fed. Cup of food was 3 dollars for small cup and entru was 5 dollars each person. It was fun activity.

Very small and you don't actually get to go inside the pens with the animals. And by animals, I mean goats and the crows that were eating the extra feed from the goats. $5 per person to get in, which means $10 for my 2yr old and myself. Feed was $3, which we didn't get. Goats we're friendly, but only 2 or 3 came close enough to the fence to pet without giving them feed. Wouldn't go back. There are better places to spend $10.
This is the most expensive and worst petting zoo we’ve been to. They charged extra credit card processing, on top of $5 a kid, plus cost of food. The fences are around the animals so the kids can’t even get close and they are high so they can’t reach over without an adult to lift them (which required adult to pay admission. Attendant was apathetic/rude. Wasted $, don’t recommend
Took my one year old son here this past week. Entry fee was $3, per person. I thought that was fair. They had plenty of goats and sheep, and one lama (or alpaca). Overall it was a fun experience. It’s a small petting zoo, so don’t go in thinking you’ll spend hours there. We probably spent about 15 mins inside the text total. It’s perfect for a family outing with small children.
This is a great place for a family outing. Our daughter absolutely loved watching us feed the sheep and goats. The gentleman who we purchased tickets from was very friendly. I would plan your visit in advance because so many other things are going on, which makes it hard to park.

Animals are SUPER aggressive trying to get to the food, even if you don’t have any. There was one goat out of the pens roaming free and jumping up on people. Animals also need to be taken care of better. Several of their hooves were curling up at the tips. Not a place for kids under 5. Website says $3/person, it’s actually $5 and the food is $3.
All of the animals were so friendly with tons of personality. My 3 kids and I shared a lot of laughs while spending time with all of the amazing animals. You will definitely know who Ping the goat is when you are there! Penny the llama is a sweetie. And how can you resist the sweetest cow ever!! They all appreciate a handful of food too!
One of the few things for kids around the stockyards. Kind of a waste as they charged us $5 each just to go in to take pictures of our kid feeding animals. I can understand charging for the kids or if we were going in to pet/feed but charging us just to go in seems like a scam. On top of that the $5 doesn’t even include a cup of food.
It’s a small petting zoo but you can spend a good 30-45 min with your kids! They have sheep, goats and a few other small animals. $3 per person and $3 for a small cup with food to feed the animals. Parking is free. Be careful with the animals because they are greedy and they will snap the cup of food from your hands if you let them.
Friendly, fun, and heartwarming. The goats sheep, and llama were adorable and fun to feed. The woman who runs this place was so kind and friendly! She let us hold her newborn goat and spent a great deal of time with us and telling us about everything. This is definitely worth while and I would come here again!! ❤️ …
We went on a horse back riding trip and the had the sweetest most gentle horses and the leaders who took us on the ride were patient with us newbies and made sure we got the horses we wanted to ride and had a little bit of background on them for us and gave a quick lesson on how to safely ride. I can't wait to do it again soon ☺️
The petting zoo was quaint and I would have figured that there were have been more variety of animals to pet and a little bit more of advertising to show that the petting zoo was there so that it got more exposure the staff kept it well clean and animals were fed very well
Amazing experience for a kid or adult! It so reasonably priced and with a decent amount of animals in the pen. We just love going to this place with friend and family. Have never been disappointed and clean enough without the lingering smell... highly recommend this place
Muy lindo para niños pequeños! Para convivir con los animales! Es un lugar que se recorre rápido y la entrada no es muy cara!

DO NOT GO HERE THEY CHARGE PARENTS TO GO INSIDE AND MONITOR THEIR MINOR CHILDREN. IVE BEEN COMING HERE FOR 3 YEARS, MULTIPLE TIMES A YEAR AND HAVE NEVER BEEN CHARGED. It's crazy, they can be responsible for my minor children.
Expensive. 5$ entry fee and you hardly spend 2-3 minutes inside. Only goats and no other animals.

Animals were very friendly. 5 dollars to look 3 dollars for feed. Cup of feed was a good size. My only problem was there were so many goats. Wish there were more of the different types of animals.
What an absolute scam! Only goats and sheep. You can’t actually get in the pin to pet them. It’s $5 per person, plus $3 for food, plus a cc charge. Save your money. It’s a totally disappointment.
Great place to take kids or to spend as couple. Small area, but fun.

It’s small and you walk around the fenced in animals, but the experience was perfect for 6/7 year olds and anybody who enjoys petting and/or feeding goats, sheep, llama, or cows.
Lots of animals to pet, including goats and puppies. Zoo is free but cups of food to feed them are not. It's very hot under the tent! Our kids enjoyed it for about 15 minutes.
It wasn't as big as I expected but my baby loved feeding they few animals they had

The website needs to be updated. It's $5 entry fee and $3 cup to feed them. It was 95% goats. Not a big variety. Overall it entertained the kids for a few minutes.
Worth the price. Ultimately the zoo was small and not great but it was only $2 for entry. Didn't feel like I wasted my money but I can't recommend it.
Great place for the kids!!!

I wouldn't consider this a petting zoo. more like look at and feed goats. Not very clean. Wouldn't recommend.

Cute pets that are always hungry! You will hear their call for food way before the feeding time …
Went twice in two days. Loved the baby goats, who liked to escape. Great for kids. Reasonably priced.
Nice little place with goats, sheep, and a few other animals. Great for little kids and it's only $2.
Very cute petting zoo, good price, and it's in a great part of the stockyards to take the kids around
We walk by here every weekend and the Llama and the donkey and the billy goats always holler at SUGAR

Wonderful spot to take a few moments and feed the animals. Nothing is cuter than a baby goat.
Really friendly staff, and the animals are really sweet and affectionate! My nephew loved it!
Lovely experience ride the train ride and mini pony ride. Christmas Vibes are on max here!
Inexpensive, but fun! The animals were super interested in everyone and were so cute!

Nice place to bring the little ones. For a few bucks they get to feed the animals.
We all loved it ☺️☺️☺️ I'm really happy we went …
Nice little petting area for children! Three stars because parking is $10.
Goat but me pretty hard, but it fixed my arthritis. I couldn't be happier.
It was not much for adults, but my 2 year old had a blast with fun
Cash only and ATMs were not working. So could not visit.
They have animals, hand sanitizer, and animal feed
