Came here this past Sunday as I had set this as the meeting place with a seller on Facebook Marketplace. I’m all about a bargain and have had some “sketchy” meet ups before all in pursuit of saving a dollar, where I felt very uncomfortable and probably should have cancelled the meetup all together. So far I’ve been fortunate but tried to do better this time for my safety by arranging to meet a seller at the new police sub station. Well, lo and behold, the building was closed because it was a SUNDAY and I didn’t even think to look if it had hours of business (sad trombone). So I stood outside waiting for the seller increasingly getting more & more nervous as I realized my intention to meet at a very public place had turned into meeting at a very empty one. While waiting a car drove up which turned out to be an off duty policeman and his family. He got out to run inside and was extremely polite; stated he’d let me in if I was meeting an officer inside and we chit chatted for a bit. I thanked him but told him what I was there for and my flub of not realizing they’d be closed, etc. He was very cordial and chuckled along with me and went inside to do his own business. As he quickly came out (I guess he was grabbing something he forgot at the office over the weekend) my seller drives up. The police officer got into his car, but instead of leaving to continue his weekend, he moved and parked in a very obvious way that showed I wasn’t alone and stayed to watch our transaction. The seller ended up being a very nice college kid, but you just never know, and perhaps by that officer staying to watch that was the reason why nothing happened. Who knows. I didn’t get a chance to thank that officer, so if you’re reading this, sincerely THANK YOU!! It might seem like such a small thing, but it was incredibly thoughtful, and you made me feel so much more at ease & safe meeting a stranger off the internet to buy goods off of. And particularly as a woman that means a lot. What a wonderful first impression you’ve made as a new addition to the neighborhood. Thanks again!
The people that work here are completely useless, brainless liars. We were hit from behind by an unlicensed driver who was speeding and almost killed my child but was protected by these clowns. She wasn’t even cited for not having a license.. Clown #1Martin 3737 completely messed up the police report from the start. He put other citizens information on the report that had nothing to do with the accident, he also had the details of the accident all wrong. Everything he said wasn’t consistent with the damages on either vehicle. We had to go in there to have the report amended. We received the corrected report a few days later and it was still WRONG and it was heavily and wrongfully pointing the finger at us . So We reached out to Klucking(the head clown) he was just the cherry on top. He refused to change it again because he didn’t want to get in trouble. So then how about you do your job correctly the first time around that way you won’t have to change anything at all??… He didn’t do anything to help us other than continue to point the fingers at us, because that was easier than doing their job. Bottomline is these people protect unlicensed drivers and there’s no justice. I don’t know how they sleep at night knowing the damage that they are doing to innocent people’s lives.. You might as well protect yourself people because these clowns sure won’t.
I back the blue however I don’t really understand the point of a fancy north division building if you still have to go downtown for everything, it appears to be a very fancy break room and private parking at taxpayer’s expense with very little benefit to the public. I would rather see that money go to more officers and better response time both of which are still worse than they were years ago. To be clear I’m not against our officers having a nice building, but there should be a public services side and transparency, and less of what seems to be an internal hideout. Officers and detectives don’t answer the phone or return call’s and the whole neighborhood officer thing is a joke. Update: was almost ran off the road by vehicle number 892 with no visual lights or sirens and running intersections with excessive speed these officers are a power trip and a hazard! These officers have no regard for laws or safety, and use their job to break almost all of them daily.
Not only did they lie to me over the phone and say that an officer was here waiting for me to do a police report, but they also had NO POLICE OFFICERS ON SITE. I have waited in the lobby for 45 minutes and they said they they MAY have someone come out here to help me. The lady at the front desk said that they have to wait to help me until their shift change at 2pm because I arrived during their lunch hour and that she doesn't know what the normal front lady does. Wow! I told them I am here to report domestic violence and abuse. The OneSafePlace location for domestic violence informed them that I was in critical endangerment and they don't seem to care! They also don't operate or have officers come out to your location to help you if it's not during business hours. Pathetic!!!
was driving down North Tarrant tonight and had an officer tailgate me and I sped up a little to slow down because I was approaching a red light and didn’t want him to hit me when I was breaking. He approached me with an attitude and was yelling at me. Towards the end he said “I won’t write you only because I have to be somewhere” I’m sorry but if you’re responding to a call, don’t pull anyone over. Officer was Male, probably mid 40s and had a long last name that started with an A. Do better. Don’t be the reason where I stop backing the blue. I was afraid to ask for the officers name and badge number. I will be filling a formal complaint.
Nothing like getting called “ difficult to interview and a tough person to talk to and that he’ll be glad when he doesn’t have to talk to me anymore “. by a police officer who is supposed to be there to “ serve and protect the citizens”. WHAT A JOKE!!!! Police officers shouldn’t be allowed to put citizens down and discriminate against people!!!!! I had a domestic violence situation/ a guy attack me and they blamed it all on me!!!! I will never ever call the police next time I will take care of it myself because the cops did nothing but make me feel worse!!! What a shame!!!! It’s pathetic how police officers treat people nowadays!!!
If you drive a mustang, charger, or Camaro, expect to be targeted. Vehicular profiling at its finest, expect to get pulled out of your car and/or arrested just because you have something nice. These cops will block you in and make it unsafe on the road, fail to use signals and will cut you off, have had nothing but bad experiences with them they will do anything to get a quota. Fort Worth PD is one of the most corrupt in the state. Don’t let me get started on the jail because that would get multiple people fired
Took a hour and a half for an officer to show up to my wife and 2 year old son accident with a semi truck. The officer didn’t even bother to get statements from the witnesses or my wife. He went to the semi drive got his statement then left. When we called up to the station no one wanted to answer so we left voicemails. And still have not received a call. Major thumbs down for FWPD. I’ll make sure to handle the situations my self from now on
Tried to get a wellness check on my seven month old daughter, and they told me it doesn’t matter if I haven’t seen her in a month or heard from her mom , it doesn’t matter if the moms on medication and doesn’t take it. He said even if I haven’t heard from them after five months. He would cancel my wellness check. This is the worst police station in north texas
Please patrol keller haslet road subdivisions. People pay $6000 or more per year in property taxes and the entire area is nothing more than a brick & mortar trailer park. Drug dealers cruising in and out of the neighborhoods, registered sex offendors "playing" with unattended kids. Cars and homes broken into regularly. DO YOUR DAMN JOB!
This station does sever a purpose it put office much closer to the area then they where before. I case you dis know and I know you dont! The response time for a call in the north sector has dropped from 30 to 45 mins down to about 15 mins. Also, if you dont know facts its normally best to keep you thought and opinion to yourself.
Had a cop haze me for 5 miles going from alliance towards Decatur, riding my a** while going the speed limit, just for him to whip the Tahoe and go 20+ over the speed limit to get around 2 cars including myself. Absolute joke of a department if they're own employees get to break the law after vowing to uphold it what a disgrace!
What a wonderful police department! My son waved at an officer driving by today. The officer turned around, handed my husband some stickers for our boys and demonstrated the lights on his cruiser. What a kind thing to do. We have appreciated the local police department and all of their hard work to keep our community safe!
I called this location and was helped. The lady on the phone was very knowledgeable and helpful. I know that the only time people write reviews is when they are disgruntled about something but honestly where would be without our police services and protection. Thank you Officers for all that you do.
Please fire Jon Romer Jr for beating a citizen of the United States of America. Why does he get a paid vacation for a felony charge? This is not transparency at all. You have the video, then please do your jobs and enforce the law like you do with any other citizen of the United States of America!!!
Just made a call to the non emergency to let them know a car was driving intentionally in to oncoming traffic. The operator asked for my name and number and hung up. No info on the other vehicle. So that’s comforting. Useless literally.
FWPD North Division covers a vast area though their mission is a focus on community. Friendly and professional officers and staff at North Division HQ.
Useless. They dont answer the phones, and they dont care about your problems
Thank you
