I think what you need to know about Forza is they're not trying to blow your mind with over complicated dishes or outrageously expensive wines. The appreciation of Forza (And particularly the Peckham branch) is that the level of service here is absolutely, the pure pinnacle of what good hospitality embodies and should strive to embody across London - Their food being utterly sublime is just an added benefit. You can be sub-par and eat 4 plates here and have 1 glass of wine and say its amazing but I didn't come here for a small morsel. I also didn't come here for 44% service I came for 102%. I booked for 4 on a wet Sunday afternoon but sadly 2 of my entourage couldn't come due to covid, so my friend Harry and I smashed the whole menu ourselves against the advice from 3 waiters (Very doable) You can purchase this at £125. If you think about the dish quantity, labour hours and love that went into 11 small plates then essentially you're getting a good deal. Especially when 11 plates is designed to feed 4. Harry and I also demolished 1.2 bottles worth of wine each trying 3/4 varieties on the way so not only were we leisurely rattled we were absolutely complete with great food. Attention from the staff is phenomenal, they know their wines backwards and KNOW THE PAIRING required for whatever dish you're about to consume. Ask them, don't be afraid. I wouldn't hire anybody that couldn't replicate the same service its a basic requirement. The engagement from staff, the ENTIRE view of London, the pretty plates and delectable wines and fantastic music and the fact is nestled away in a very exclusive little section of an unknown indoor market usually fit with tourists kind of keeps it hidden in plain sight and away from prying eyes, being SO exclusive that in order to get to it you need to take an elevator. Superb meal. Superb Day. Superb restaurant. Star dish: PORK CHOP WITH BLACKBERRIES.

Would definitely avoid for a special occasion, food was delicious it’s such a shame the front of house can’t match the effort of the kitchen. Staff were rude and unwelcoming, going to have to do a list as there was so many issues… 1) the food came before plates and cutlery, when we politely asked for these the server rudely told me “it was coming” 2) we were overcharged by £30, a bottle of wine we simply didn’t order 3) my friend paid and was then told the payment had been taken for the wrong table and she was made to pay again before being refunded forcing her to pay on her credit card without an apology for the mistake from the server (who also wouldn’t wait for her refund to process before taking the payment again…) 4) at least two of our servers were far under the influence … 5) my friend who’s birthday it was politely explained how disappointing the experience was and was told they would ‘make a note of it’ despite us paying above full tip … definitely unwarranted 6) waited 25 minutes for the dessert Altogether a really disappointing meal, for a special occasion meal it was really unspecial.

This is a wonderful rooftop bar in Peckham with a wide selection of good value wine and an excellent sharing menu, featuring a great selection for vegetarians. The stunning view stretches from Canary Wharf in the east right across the city to Battersea in the west. I’d recommend timing your visit for sunset (pictured). We watched the sunset while enjoying our fantastic cocktails (Negroni / Spritz). The food is delicious sharing plates. I’d highly recommend the cauliflower and the lamb neck. I’d suggest ordering two plates and then a second round. The food is served reasonably quickly so you don’t need to decide all in one go. We found that four plates were enough for two adults. There is a wide drinks selection with a fantastic wine list. The service was excellent: friendly, efficient and super helpful. Overall, highly recommended.

Yeh, I love this place. It is the right side of cool, man buns are not required. Wonderful team that greeted and served us. Even though we only had the table for 2 hours we weren’t rushed or pushed. The perfect spot for grazing and sun downers, one of the best views of London. The food was the best accompaniment for an evening of drinking. Many highlights, including the mozzarella & anchovy toastie. The only feed back was that some dishes were a touch too salty. I really enjoyed the wine that I drank, but perhaps I wouldn’t rush back for orange wine. The only weakness to Forza is that they are not so strong on their cocktails. We had a negroni sbagliato and a “cherry” negroni, for me they weren’t on par with the rest of the menu. The sbagliato wasn’t fizzy/prossecoie enough and the cherry variant was too sweet. Still, please don’t let this out you off from coming here. Very much a favourite of mine.

The view is great but unfortunately we did not enjoy our visit, food was okay (nothing to die for at all), I was very hungry so forgot to take pictures of the food but nothing made me want to say I will be back at all. Service was terrible, my bf had to go inside to call someone to take our order this was after we had to call someone down so they could show us our table as we were waiting there at the door with no one attending to us. Will not be going back, if so maybe only for a glass of wine with a view but for overpriced food with bad service not worth the trip. Also, definitely skip the dessert just a tiny soft serve with 1/4 tasteless apricot.

Getting here was a bit of a trek, but well worth the view at lunch! We started off with cocktails and then moved to wine. I loved the spicy cocktail - refreshing for an end of the summer lunch. Their wines are also on the funky side. Our waiter gave us a fun recommendation for this Spanish wine and we loved it! Food wise, the portions are between tapas and starter sizes (more on the larger side). I really loved the fried cauliflower and their fish. Their chicken was also nicely grilled without being too dry. Of course if you come here, you're coming for the view. Book a table at the espresso bar area (it's the area with the best views of London's skyline).

Came here for my friends’ birthday, and while the food was incredible the service was terrible. It was really difficult to grab any server’s attention throughout the whole night, an extra half carafe was added onto our bill, I paid for another table but was told by an unapologetic server who was under the influence that they could refund me. I am still yet to be refunded and had to pay again. The server was also extremely rude and annoyed when I asked for a printed receipt. When we went to speak to the manager about the service, we were rudely met with “we will make a note of this” rather than any hint of an apology. A shame because the food was lovely, but we will not come back again.

Food was great. Service on the other hand was questionable. For starters most of the waiting service were acting very bizarre. I’ve worked in hospitality before and that is definitely not how I would act. They overcharged by putting a wrong item on the bill, they charged my friend the wrong amount from a different tables bill, and then came back with an aggressive attitude not apologising for their error. We also had to constantly ask for things from plates, wine we ordered, dessert etc, just leaves a bad taste in the mouth (if you pardon the pun). Definitely improvements to be made.

Fantastic wine bar with delicious food! We had excellent service from Esme who took great care of us and could answer all of our questions about dietary requirements etc. All the food we ordered was great - can recommend the flatbreads, cauliflower and burrata. It’s a good idea to book in advance as they get booked up quickly. Thanks Esme and Forza team!! We will definitely be returning!

A rooftop bar/restaurant located in a parking lot in Peckham.. obscure entry, you’d never know it was there a local didn’t tell you. A flawless experience drinking and dining here. We were taken to our table promptly, attentive wait staff who guided us through the menu and provided appropriate suggestions. The venue is lovely and the views are simply amazing.. you can see the whole of london in the distance.. the food was great, some of the best in town. Nothing too fancy, just simple dishes done well. Small share plates. The jalapeño mussels were a stand out, as was the focaccia and asparagus. I had a dirty martini that was made to perfection. I will definitely be returning!

  • Lucy Halligan

Went here for friends birthday. To summarise, food was brilliant and greatly executed. The service from start to finish was astonishingly bad. From not getting plates for sharing the menu to being charged for another half litre of wine that we didn’t order to then paying someone else’s bill. Before the owner can rudely “clap back” referencing prezzo to undermine their own customers. We didn’t order the half litre of wine and their staff was so far beyond ‘this world’ that they charged our bill to another table without an apology. We did complain but received not much back from the manager that night Such a shame…

Lovely restaurant, fantastic wine list and a menu that perfectly fits with the season. The food came out at a lovely fractured rate which perfectly matched the relaxed lunch with wine. The service was friendly and helpful although a little disorganised. My only notes would be that the cutlery and glasses clearly hadn’t been polished which I wouldn’t expect from a relatively y busy restaurant. Also for me the romesco sauce which came with one of the dishes was slightly dry. I think 4.5 stars would be a more suitable rating for this review but unfortunately this is not possible.

I’ve enjoyed Forza wine in the past and wanted to pop in on Friday at noon to see if they had tables for me and my friend. The general staff is excellent, but the person who I assume was the manager was very rude. It seemed like the biggest inconvenience for her that we didn’t have a booking, even though it wasn’t full. We were also not expecting to have a table if it was full and said it was no problem. But we got a table and she seemed very annoyed with us the whole time. The wine and cocktails are amazing, and you will probably have a wonderful time with the rest of the staff.

Peckham branch is great with fab views from the roof terrace so we were excited to try the new branch above the National Theatre. It's a great space with a lovely terrace but food and service were unfortunately underwhelming on the night we visited. Waited forever for drinks to come out, had to re-ask of them (there only being 5 occupied tables in the restaurant at the time, lots of staff around) and had to send one of the dishes back as it was missing ingredients. Hopefully, just teething problems and it will be a great place moving forward!!

First time here! Enjoyed it and it was perfect on a hot summers evening. The staff were super friendly and quick service. Make sure to book but also be aware if it's busy I would recommend going around 8pm to have the whole eve there, as tables are booked for 1hr 45mins. It's perfect for a variety of occasions, weather with friends, small or large groups or a loved one. Right next to Peckham Rye station and in the heart of Peckham and super easy access too. Will be going again soon. Solid A***** LDT x

I came here about a month ago with some friends as I was in holiday from Canada and we had the most amazing experience. So good that I couldn’t forget to leave a review weeks later lol. We came for late night drinks and were giving a nice private corner are with our own speaker for music. It was the best night and such good vibes. The staff were also so friendly and gave us amazing service. I have to give a special shoutout to Annabelle, Elias, Sabrina and Edd the manager. We had a fantastic time, thank you so much!!

Stunning views from the rooftop looking towards the city. This place is worth it for the views alone. But it’s also worth a visit for the food. We got the works between four people and it was the perfect amount. The food was decent and experience was similar to that of a tasting menu in tapas style. Would recommend a visit!!

What an fabulous spot, with excellent views over South London. Great vibes, grown crowd and music. The cocktails were brilliant, with decent amount of alcohol content. The bites were also decent. The service however could have been more attentive. Hoping to catch the sunset next time I visit, as that’s supposed to be great.

Hidden Jam in Peckam. Have good selection of wines and cocktails. We had whiskey martini, which was too strong for my liking, even tho I do enjoy regular espresso martini.. As well, had non alcoholic cocktail - smoked margarita. In general I was very pleased to see non alcoholic cocktails menu, but it was slightly too sweet for me. Olives are great. Mussels - souce is lovely, just bread was missing. I think they should serve it with it, due to the souce quantity in the plate. Courliflower was tasty, but very filling!

I’ve been dying to go for ages and eagerly waited for a trip to London to finally try Forza Wine! Location is amazing! Views over Peckham are lovely and you can see to central London. I imagine the sunset views are gorgeous. We tried so much food and every plate was absolutely perfect and delicious. Also sampled a decent selection of cocktails, and ended with a yummy soft serve icecream. Absolutely 100% going to come back for more!

Finally managed to get up here as it’s a very popular spot. Came for weekday happy hour (3-5 mon-fri) #funemployment. Beer £3/ wine (incl sparkling) £4 / Negroni £5. Also had the cauliflower fritti as a little snack, was yummy and larger portions than expected for such a “hip” place. The view is stunning and I’ll definitely be attempting to come back and sit on the rooftop proper when weather is better. Oh, and very dog friendly which is even better

Thank you to the team at Forza Wine for the most perfect birthday!! I booked a table for 10 people, they gave us a private booth where we were able to play our own music, with great food and good wine, was honestly a 10/10 experience and I would definitely recommend. Views views views . I reckon this is a great spot for drinks during the day or over the weekend. Good vibes and atmosphere. Awesome natural wine list. I’ll definitely be coming back for drinks/cocktails/natural wine. I wasn’t at all fond of the dishes we got the pork something and a pate type dish. The cauliflower fritte was ok. I reckon this is a great spot during the summer.

I can see this place is great for drinks but only the Gilt headed bream was worth mentioning out of a series of overpriced 'put together' items. Oh yes. I'll be coming back here. Helps that it's the most perfect late summer's afternoon, but the view, the light, and yes the food is right-on. Italian tapas is how they describe it. Delicious lamb and a good salad, though the yellow beetroot was I think only for presentation. Only thing. Beware the walk up several flights of stairs! I'm told they're installing a lift, but I'd say it's worth the walk regardless.

A fantastic spot, with a wonderful view. Staff were lovely as well. We did not have food, but spent a few hours enjoying the setting and drinking wine in the middle of the afternoon. How decadent. Thing is, it's so nice and slightly nordic that you don't even feel bad for it, perfect catch up spot. By our calculations a bottle is a lot cheaper than by the glass, so you know what you have to do.
