I’ve come across from Adelaide to visit my daughter who has taken me to Frankies as a special treat. She has been there before and noted that there was a message on the venue that said duckpond with Ducks that you can feed. We arrived and seated, promptly, ordered our coffees which were fantastic, and then ordered the French toast to share, which is where our issues started. The French toast was a single piece of that bread that was crumbed and deep fried (think schnitzel). We both had our first mouthful looked at each other and burst out laughing as we were just not able to eat it. It literally tasted like the outside of a schnitzel, the whole way through that had not been cooked in clean oil, or had been double fried. It honestly was not recognisable as bread. We returned the French toast (minus only the bite each that we had tried), with a polite explanation that it was inedible and ordered scones, and a single piece of sourdough toast. Scones were lovely. Sourdough was lovely, however it came out with jam and no butter, butter with subsequently bought out on request but was charged extra for it. Random. On departure my daughter also purchased a $45 bag of coffee beans. And we queried the $24 cost of the French toast on the Bill to be told by the ‘manager’ That if it had been a freshness issue, we would’ve received some ‘discount’ - I’m not sure what decade this piece of bread was fresh It certainly wasn’t this current one… So $55 for two coffees, two scones and a single piece of toast is a wee bit excessive. And then we went to find the duckpond to be told they actually don’t have one…. And as an aside, for a garden centre to be full of only plastic plants in the large eating area, seems a little incongruous. So my overall impression would be to stop in for maybe some plants (although expensive) and a coffee, but I wouldn’t take a punt on eating here again.

I was absolutely shocked and gobsmacked by the service of whom I assume is the manager. To the point that we were on edge at being “yelled at”. On arrival the sign says to wait to be seated but for 5 mins so one approached us or acknowledged us. The place was half full and yet she rolled her eyes that we didn’t have a booking for an midweeks 10:30 breakfast and tapped her iPad for a minute or so wondering how’d she’s fit us in. The person behind us followed us through the cafe and this woman turned to then and said “I told you to wait at the door” to a grown woman. She also yelled at some older kids for touching the bollards - as kids do - which was doing no damage “stop touching that” not a kind word to the parents to ask the kids to stop. Food is lovely but our 2 meals came out separately. As did our coffee which was very average. The way she spoke to her staff was dismal too. Those poor young girls looked terrified. No eye contact when we paid the bill either. I just can’t believe the attitude of this woman in her late 30/ / early 40s at customers, staff and kids. She clearly hates her job and is on a huge power trip. Would not return.

From the time we arrived at the door met by a friendly lady with a lovely smile we felt welcome. Even though the place was very busy for lunch on Tuesday 27th June we were promptly seated and given menus. A waitress with a big smile arrived to take our order but due to the extensive menu we took 5 more minutes. When the friendly happy waitress arrived again we ordered and did not have to wait long until our meals arrived. They were big servings which looked and tasted really good. The staff look genuinely happy and even the young humans on school holidays served us drink with a happy and friendly attitude. Will be back. Thank you to all for making a challenging day so much more brighter!

You can’t go wrong at Frankie’s! The staff are so personable and the menu is variable and delicious They always ensure you’re comfortable whether it’s in the summer and you’re feeling a little too hot or it’s in the winter and you need a little warmth from one of the heaters. Food is always served on time and the atmosphere is great. Our pup loves it there, he is always welcomed with kindness and he loved their doggy menu. I’ve never been shy to take friends, family and colleagues to Frankie’s either. Highly recommended, it’s a must try in the Northern Beaches ♥️

Outstanding hidden Gem. It's not often you find a breakfast (or lunch) spot with an obviously very talented chef orchestrating the menu. The selections of meats and produce are top notch and the combinations of flavours borderline alchemy. The chef knows what they are doing and what works together. The atmosphere is calm, there are small children so expect a family vibe but this doesn't take away from the experience, perhaps even bringing more joy to the table. I'm sure you could find a fault if you really looked but our experience here has been top notch every time and we will continue to support this awesome place.

The food here today was pretty mediocre. Particularly the barely warm ribs. But what killed it was how every staff member made it clear they wanted to be somewhere else. Very few smiles, nobody to greet us when we arrived (many walked past but seemed to be trying to not make eye contact). The guy who finally took us to our table pushed past a lady who was trying to get out and made her wait for him. Very few smiles. Kinda dampened the whole experience to be honest. I must say there was one lady who came to our table at the end who was lovely and refreshing. I wish I got her name and I wish she could spread her energy to the others.

Nice Cafe inside the Flower Power nursery, it can get quite hot in the indoor seating during summer despite the fans but the Cafe is big enough to sometimes move around a cooler spot. Food was quite nice, good serving and the smoothies were so good! Price is very reasonable and the staff are friendly and accomodating.

First time to visit Frankie's at Flowerpower Terry Hills today. Wow! Thanks to the advice of our waitress, the lovely Delilah, these were the best bruschettas we've had in a long while! My choice was the Pesto Bruschetta (with avocado and poached egg), hubbie had the Italian Bruschetta (with burrata cheese). Our drinks, lactose free iced coffee and vanilla milkshake were beautifully presented and so tasty too. Needless to say, we'll be coming back to Frankie's to sample more from their amazing menu.

Amazing food, very well trained friendly staff and most of all the food is amazing. We visited two weekends in a row and loved it. We were greeted on arrival ushered to our table and served within minutes. Before we knew it our coffees arrived and within ten minutes of ordering our food was on our table. The food is presented so beautifully and tastes amazing, the menu has many choices, something for everyone. Delilah the owner is so beautiful and accommodating - thank you. Fantastic brekkie!! We had breakfast here the other day and it was so good! The place has a nice atmosphere with lots of greenery and the menu is extensive. While they don’t have many full vegan options on the menu, the staff were very accommodating with my request of adapting one of the vegetarian dishes and they swapped labneh for hummus (at no extra cost) on this beautiful avo bruschetta that was just perfect. The service was kind and lovely and I will definitely be back again :)

Really swift customer service, and nice staff too. The atmosphere is relaxing as you’re immersed in a garden. The drinks are a little pricey, however, they don’t disappoint. I had the watermelon and lychee slushie, it looked so extravagant and tasted amazing! My mum had an iced coffee, a strong coffee and properly presented.

Paid $58 for 2 wraps and chips, take away (inc sunday surcharge). After we left we noticed there were barely any chips in there and they were dry and soggy, with no salt and one of the wraps was not what we ordered. Massive disappointment. More
