Its taken a while to review. But now is the time to say what a BAD experience I had with my partners funeral. At the initial meeting I stated 2 things. The body may need a larger coffin and that we will need male attendants to help with carrying the coffin. Both things weren't addressed. At the funeral the body was cramped into the coffin instead of ringing and letting me know that a larger coffin is required. The body wasn't dressed properly, the clothes were placed on top of the body and covered by a curtain. The viewing wasn't what I expected and I cried for days later of what could have been if I said something on the day. But it's too late. At the cemetery ALL females and 1 male. The females struggled. What a joke! Mourners stood outside in the sun while the attendants stood under cover. No chairs for the mourners. Music was lost, needed to find the music off a phone and play into microphone. I complained shortly after. I was distraught and couldn't believe the outcome of the day. When you pay all this money up front you expect everything to be perfect. This company takes the money and doesn't deliver. You can't rewind the day but the memories haunt you of what should have been. A remark was made that this was the first time it has happened. What a load of crock!!!

Had a terrible experience with my Mum's funeral. When we went for the initial meeting I asked about removing my Mum's jewellery and taking it with me that day and the girl said it's fine to keep it on for the viewing and that it will be safe and returned to me after the service where I will have to sign for them. I followed up after Mum's funeral for around 3 weeks as the girl we had dealt with was on sick leave. Anyway long story short her jewellery wasn't removed from her body and was cremated with her. I was so upset and just cried that whole day as it's not monetary value but sentimental value and it's gone forever. All they could say was sorry that happened and that's it. I'm not sure if the girl we dealt with is new but I was chasing things up about the service right from the beginning. It's really not good enough. They also never called me to say her ashes were back and I could collect them. I rang them to check and they had been sitting there for a week :(

I have used the Grant's Services for a family members funeral. We encountered problems with the grave site use and this caused massive problems. Because of their standing in the industry (ie connections) they were able to rectify this so a family member could rest where she finally wanted. This was above and beyond. Jamie (and Damian) made the process of pre-paying easy and clear. Once the service was required, it was done very professionally and sincerely. When I encountered problems with Tillett's (separate company) , FF stepped up again and helped our family again (which they were not obliged to do, but they helped me anyway) to bring closure. I can't fault their integrity or professionalism and would use (or recommend) the Grant Family and FF again.

Shocking experience during the most devastating time in life. Against advice & better judgement I used the services of Fulham Funerals. I found the staff to be unprofessional & lacking empathy. I requested my loved ones jewellery to be removed prior to the cremation & handed to me, this was not done. Lost for ever my mothers wedding & engagement ring, absolutely unforgivable. I received a phone call from John the receptionist (not the funeral arranger) the afternoon prior to the service, informing me should the money for the service not be paid in full by close of trade that day the service would not be going ahead…prior to the phone call I had not received an invoice. I would NEVER recommend the services of Fulham Funerals.

My wife past away a few weeks ago and my wife wanted Fulham Funeral to attend. They look after her parents with so much care and respect. Yesterday, we had my wife funeral and Amelia Grant from Fulham Funeral was excellent, thoughtful, caring and attention to detail. If I could give them 10 out of 5 I would but, it has to be 5 out of 5. I highly recommend them, especially Amelia who thought of everything and nothing was too much trouble. My wife would have been so happy with everything that Amelia and Fulham Funeral did for us. It is a BIG thankyou.

My hope was brink for the repatriation overseas for my late brother but you made it happen and for that, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Jamie, Damien and the Fullham team are the most respectful and helpful team you could have helping you at a time like this. Have had multiple funerals through Fullham and have never had an issue, nothing is ever impossible in their eyes. Their respect for the Aboriginal culture and what the family want, is amazing. They do their best to make everything the family wants, happen. Would fully recommend going through Fullham for any type of funeral no matter the religion or culture.

Due to financial constraints we had to have the basic cremation and viewing. Although we were told originally that we could have up to six people at the viewing, at the time only two were allowed, for a maximum of fifteen minutes ! No problems with the staff we were directly in contact with and the viewing arrangement was dignified. We realise money is everything in the funeral business but a basic cardboard box when returning the ashes would have been nice.

Highly recommend Fulham Funerals. Lan and Damien provide exceptional and thoughtful service. My dad’s funeral was truly a beautiful celebration of his life and went so smoothly with the help and guidance from Damien and Lan. They were so helpful and prompt with their responses to our queries. Our family and relatives commend and thank Fulham Funerals, especially Lan and Damien for their empathy and support during this difficult time.

From the moment we walked in, the staff was incredibly supportive. Jamie were accommodating with our limited time and special request as we need to follow the rituals in the Islamic faith and send the deceased to other country as soon as possible. They helping us navigate this complex process with kindness and understanding. The funeral service itself was properly arranged, and every detail was attended to with care.

Our dear father, Alan was laid to rest today. A big thank you to Helen and the staff at Fulham Funerals.
