My front inner tube exploded in a pot hole less than a mile from home at six thirty am this morning, and the rear inner tube slowly flattened out over an hour from home on my return trip. I missed the thorn, punctured the second spare inner, and found the back-up puncture repair kit was out-of-date and wasn't adhering properly. I listened to the air whistle quietly out as I tried to inflate the repaired tubes. Kit scattered on the canal path, I was so cold by this point, my hands and head started going on strike. GS Cycles answered the phone straight away, offered to open slightly earlier than planned on Good Friday when they realised the situation, promptly replaced the inner, put my gear line back in place, and supplied another back-up inner while I washed thick black grease off my hands and started to warm up. Not a great morning, but GS Cycles made all the difference! Thank you.

Great shop and great service. I got a bike from there and a few days after riding it I worked out the bike wasn't for me. The bike I had bought had all the gears and was brilliant but my ride to work was 20km each way of flat road so gear weren't neccessary. I took the bike backed and asked if I could swap if for something more suited to my journey and without question gscycles swapped over the bike and I was on my way. I rode it the next morning and got a message from gscycles asking how it was and if I was happy and I was very happy with it. All in all plenty of bikes to choose from to suit your journey and to suit you and absolutely great service. Thank you to gscycles, highly recommend!

Fantastic, friendly service with a smile. We popped into this store as we wanted to buy our daughter a bike to learn on in the summer holiday's and were hoping to avoid the big chain store, H. I wasn't expecting much but the welcome was so warm and I felt at ease to ask any questions. As with most stores at this time (lockdown) they were out of a brand new bikes but I was told of a second hand bike which ticked every box, 18 inches, a little girlie, stabilisers and had a basket in the front... and my daughter loves it (more than anything I'd shown her online). Ok we didn't spend much but once my daughter is confident we'll definitely go back to buy a new one. 5* service and local.

Spent 30 pounds in changing bent wheel..tube torn before reaching home... again went there and he sold us new tube.. again tube got torn n the same place . He is asking us to change tire this time saying it is a tire problem.. he didnt even hear what we were saying very bad attitude towards customer . Didn't even let me explain the issue..very very rude.. didn't even listen that we have to say the bike was not used every time after we fixed ...worst behavior towards customers.. very cheap mindset .. never faced this kind of bad behavior anywhere in UK before... we have done cycle fixing too many times and we have 3 cycles at home.. never go to this shop

Waste of money, spent £75 getting the tyre, tube and wheel replaced, didn't use the bike for a few months, then rode it for 2 days and already the tyre burst. Shop owner just kept making excuses so that he could charge more money instead of fixing the damage he already caused. He will take a photo of the damage and try to blame it on you, I'm sure he will make a reply to this review that is as poor as the service he offers. Edit: Just found out that he installed the rim with holes in them and didn't apply any rim tape which was the cause of the puncture. So can now confirm its 100% his fault and he had the audacity to try to charge me again.

Excellent little bike shop. I saw a few lovely old Raleigh bicycle 's on Gumtree and it led me to Guvinder's shop. I could tell right away from speaking to him that I had found a kind and honest seller and that it was gonna be worth the trek to get there from Central London. Its a tiny ram-shakle little shop with very fair prices and some really great old retro bikes. I imagine the stock keeps changing as when I was there there was always a few loyal customers checking out the goods. Guvinder is so helpful and genuinely wants you to be happy with your purchase and really goes above and beyond for you. Both him and his shop are a rare find!

Great Service, was recommended by a mate who was miles from home with a double puncture- he got sorted out by G straight away , and naturally he recommended him. I popped my bike there last week to fix a broken spoke and plenty of other little niggles and got it back as good as new, much easier than lugging it back to Decathlon ! Owner is such a great guy , has such an eclectic mix of Bikes in his shop and really , you wont go wrong with using his services or buying from him , he is VERY HONEST !!!

Really lovely experience. I went in today, on a day where the shop was actually closed and Guvinder opened up just so that myself and a few others could view bikes. He was so nice and helpful in answering any questions I had about the bike- not to mention a pleasure to talk to as well . Guvinder set me up with a lovely 80's racing bike for a VERY reasonable price, and even changed my tires for a lower fee. I would absolutely reccomend GS cycles to anyone looking for a used bike or a tune up.

Wonderful experience! I was looking for a bike while at Uni and G.S. cycles was the perfect place. Shop owner was incredible nice and really helpful. You could tell he really cares about sending someone home with a bike that works for them. He noticed the handle tape was just starting to go on the bike I purchased so before I left he gave me a pack of band new bar tape for free. You can also buy other bike equipment such as pumps and locks there.

Late review but last year I took my son's bike in for it's second repair/service due to lack of riding and not storing it properly and was advised rather than spending more money on an old bike to purchase a used one from them which we did. A better, more suitable BMX was had alongside another bike for my daughter. They even kindly delivered both bikes and disposed of the old one. Very knowledgeable and friendly service. Highly recommended.

This shop has been the only one that could full fill my needs, giving me the right product I wanted for the best price ever. It was an hour and a half journey from where I live but it paid me back every single minute spent on travelling leaving me very happy and satisfied ! The shop owner has been very nice working on my bike and being available for everything i needed To be done to the bike I bought.

The owner is passionate about bikes! If you’re after a cheap run around or all the way up to classic, vintage bike he will be sure to have it or get it for you with a smile. He’s not a charity but his passion is his business so if you play fair with him, he’ll be more than fair with you. I have bought 2 bikes from him and am happy to recommend him to family and friends... I can’t say more than that!

I have popped into the shop quite frequently whilst I have been cycling more during the lockdown period. Service has always been exceptional with my tube changes and derailleur adjustments all been done without me waiting long. Full service had my bike running sweet without any issues. Picked up a gorgeous road bike from this place in fantastic condition at a very fair price. The guy in the shop took his time to explain the history of the bike along with his awesome collection. Bought a bike from here recently and honestly was such a nice experience. Everything went smoothly and any issues with the bike were addressed. Staff is polite and passionate about what they do. Would honestly recommend coming here over any big chain bike store simply because the experience feels alot more one to one. You don't get constant promotions being thrown at you .

I went to get my bike tyre fixed as it was punctured. I left the bike with him to deal with and I hoped it'll all be fixed and ready to go. Paid around £15 - £20 in which he fixed the inner tube of the bike and about 10 minutes later it had started to deflate unfortunately. I expected the back wheel to be fully fixed and without any problems.

Today was my first time visiting and straight away I could tell Gurinder is an honest man with a passion for bikes. He gave me sincere advice about fixing my bike instead of selling it. It was fixed quickly, to an excellent standard and for a fair price. I will always be coming to his shop for any issues with my bike!

I went Halfords to get my bike fixed, guy at the service place recommend me to visit Gscycles as it was going to cost me a lot to get it fixed. Gscycles not only got my bike fixed for the following day, they were cheaper then more then half what Halfords quoted me. Excellent little bike shop, a must for everyone

I got a puncture in my off road wheelchair . Took it in to g.s. Cycles and the lovely man fixed it straight away. Wasn’t a problem that it was a wheelchair, just got the tyre off and fitted a new inertube for me. Highly recommend this great small business. Thank you for your help

Excellent service. Gurinderjit sorted my seized free wheel hub in under an hour. I was tempted to tackle it myself but the cost of parts and tools would have been 3 or 4 times as much with no guarantee. The moral of the story is, leave it to the experts …
