This place is a hidden gem. It is right across the street from the Hilton Garden Inn here in DC. They have great sandwiches and serve breakfast. The staff is great and very nice. Also a very reasonable cost for the quality of food you are getting which I cannot say for many other places around here.

I enjoy this place. The employees are always friendly and attentive. The sandwiches are always good, thru are known for their freshly sandwich meats/sandwiches and salads. Personally, the grilled chicken sandwich was bland. Great location for when in the downtown DC area near McPherson Square.

The Gallery Cafe is a cafe on the second floor of a building right next to the McPherson Metro in downtown DC. It's one of those shops that has a smorgasbord of options from packaged goods to snacks to a bar offering handmade food.
