I went in on Monday, July 8th around 11:30 and I bought three of the dragon ball z vending machine characters and got a duplicate and the cashier kindly let me change out my duplicate for something different. Today I went to try to finish my set and got another duplicate and went up to the counter waiting to change my duplicate for about 15 mins just to get a very rude no from the so called manager! I asked how come because I was able to last time and he told me it was because they can’t open it that they got in trouble I understood but was a little irritated but I left the store calm and collected and when I got home my girlfriend called and asked about the situation and why again and he was very rude and said “Just like I told the gentleman that was just in here we can’t cause we got in trouble” and I said “oh okay well thank you” and he was just quiet so I hung up and I called again because I realized I could of asked for a manager so it would be handled more professionally without all the attitude and turns out he was the manager and I told him it’s just not okay and he said he’d be willing to switch it out for me for one different this one time and that he can’t do it afterwards. I said okay I get to the store AGAIN and he tells me that I can’t switch it out for one different that I have to use a coin and again I got the same one so he told me that I can’t go again and that I can either “exchange” it or keep it and by exchange I’m thinking at least roll another one since they can’t open the thing but no he should’ve said “refund” cause thats what he meant so I got my money back and I couldn’t try buying another one lol! Manager is very rude, lied to me, and shouldn’t have the job if he can’t control himself when he has bad days.. everyone has bad days not just him and treating a costumer like this is unacceptable. Who made him a manager!

Staff here has always been great when I been here. The reps that talk about older games like nintendo, super nintendo of you overhear there conversations , are ones to speak too. Parents the staff are told and trained too follow the ESRB rating system (if you do not know or knew video games were rated like MOVIES ask a representative in store they can explain or if they have flyers they can get you one) . Full Disclouser , I did work for GameStop one holiday season about 8 years ago.(i was about 23) It was fun. If your 16 or 17 year old loves video games but say little shy a place like this can help them get out, make relatable friends, get social experience, learn sales etc.. Totally watch out for there Buy Two Used Get one Free best deal ever. If you cant wait buy GameStop membership card , ask them to hold your games for day or two , you get email for Buy Two get One free used just for signing up . ( this only is worth it if all used games are over 20.00).. dont remove that from sign up, that is only reasson why I renew my card.

Save your money and don't pre-order from this place they like to not call customers back when the orders arrive so the employees can take the products home. Long story short I pre-order 2 Elvis Funko pop from this place in NOVMEMBER. They never called me to say when it has arrived so naturally I walk in there and ask what's the hold up. Turns out they did receive my funkos but since no one came to "pick it up" their employees are allowed to take it home.. NO ONE HAS EVER CALLED ME! They barely even apologized and re-ordered it and told me they will call me again when it comes. It is now May. I spoke to Jeff and Zane that day. Employees seemed really careless and don't know how to run a simple game stop store. They did offer me a 10% discount on anything in the store that day for the inconvenience I guess so there's 2 stars for that.

Totally acting like she didnt want to assist me either. Real lucky ididnt call her out. Np though..again..ill nevere return period.

I called around 2 pm asked if they could hold a Funko I knew they had. They said "No it's first come first serve." Disappointed I understood. I came in around 8 pm saw nothing looked around then I was going to ask. Some guy walks in and asks the attendants if he had the one they saved for him... how disappointing is that. Completely unfair the people at the counter looked shocked as I called them out on it. I said I was thier first for the same funko same size. Only to be told he called in to reserve it. What a joke. If rules are not applied evenly why apply them at all. I had a 5 star rating prior but I'll take my business elsewhere. What a joke.

I had a very helpful employee take my name and number and promised to call me when a preowned PlayStation 3 would be available to purchase. I watched the site for 2 weeks and the day it was supposed to be available I put a hold on it via the website. The hold request was denied, so I called and the person who answered said the manager allowed them to sell the console without calling me, etc. Based on how much business this company gets from my family I would definitely not recommend wasting your time nor money with this location, their employees, or their lack of professionalism when dealing with customers.

I went in with my older sister (She is 22 and although I'm 18 I don't have a state I.d. as proof) to get a replacement copy of my GTA V that I had bought from the same store a few months before. However a less than friendly female clerk refuse because she felt "uncomfortable" selling it to me or my sister even though she provided her I.d. and this is how we bought the original copy and the supervisor who came out I ironically recognized as the person who had sold me and my sister the original copy in the first place. This has ruined this outlet for me and I will have to find another way to buy games.

Went in to pick up a preowned game. First of all, while one of the two workers was actually doing his job, the other was goofing around not helping anybody and taking his sweet time getting our game and headset we asked for. Got all the way home, and the game was CRACKED. Wouldn't even load. Went back to return it and said employee was answering the phones, putting callers on hold and complaining, out loud, that people were calling... I get it, working retail sucks but c'mon, save that for your break

Staff was nice. I liked the manager. Why I’m frustrated is because my husband and I had to come back because the pre owned Xbox we purchased didn’t work. They said they tested the replacement in the store , we took the new one home and the power cord still didn’t work. At this point I’m going to order one online and test it at home. I’ll be going to the store tomorrow to either get a discount or just a full refund. Overall just frustrating because my husband and I were excited to get this Xbox.

Called location for Zelda 3ds Ocarina, girl placed me on hold to confirm they had it took my name and said they would hold it. Then drove 40min with the family to go pick it up. When we arrived they said "oh sorry we looked for it but we couldn't find it" what a waste of time!! Asked them why they didnt call me back to tell me and they looked confused as to "why would we ever do that?" Will never trust this location again. Boys were very upset, wasted their weekend and mine.

I love this GameStop, it’s literally my favorite, I always go here and they always have what I want and the staff are so nice and helpful, but I just called them to find out about a product I’m looking a for and the guy that answer me was so rude, I asked him for the product and he which he reply saying no in less than 5 second and then right when I was about to ask him something else he hang up on me :v ... i still love the store tho, I just find that so rude ‍♂️

I'm not a fan of GameStop the business. But the employees here are great. Always have good recommendations and really care about you. It's a shame GameStop doesn't care about them, their strongest resource. The store is always clean. They usually have items in stock or know where I can find them if they're out. I used to preorder from other companies, but they could never get my game to me on release day. I can always get my games on release day when I preorder here.

Today is Thursday, Novemeber 15, 2018. Jordan and Teenaa were excellent. There was an issue trying to transfer existing credit from the Mesa location (Mesa location wasn't very cooperative) so Jordan called, got the credit transferred and realized I had additional credit. I ended up only paying a few dollars to walk out with Hitman 2. Most importantly, their service to me and others in the store was outstanding. This is why I LOVE this location.

This place used to be good, but now they have Horrid customer service, no knowledge of games whats so ever other then generic one line descriptions that you could read on case. Worst of all I and 3 other customers got thrown out of store cause their management wanted to go home. I cut up my power rewards card, I'm never going back to this store ever, best buy has a better buy back program And no Disrespectful manager to boot.

I got a used game for my son for x-mas. After playing it for a couple of days the game started to freeze. Possibly because of a scratch. I called the store and told them about it but i did not have the reciept. The staff actually to the game back and replaced it. they were friendly and profesional. I have gone to this store in the past and have never recieved this good of service in the past. Maybe new management?

Employees are so rude! Like every time I go there Ruben has an attitude! Dude get another job if you hate it here! Employees tend to ignore you while "organizing" boxes around the store. Or they'll just blatantly ignore you while they mess around on their phone (Tieara!). I've had 3 or 4 different negative experiences at this store and I've finally decided to stop spending my money at gamestop entirely.

I had to travel clear across town to get to this store because it was the only store that had my sons game in stock. So when i arrived, Theodore knew who I was, since I called earlier that morning. He had our game ready to go. And the entire staff was friendly and courteous. Not to mention that this store was filled so much merch and games. OMG, my son IS GONNA LOVE THIS PLACE.

Guy at the register was super rude, was trying to trade in my old console and the power brick was making noise. Didn't think it would be a problem because it still turns on and has been working like that for a while. But he acted like I was trying to get one over on him personally and was basically trying undermine me in front of the whole store. Be better GameStop

They have the latest games and good deals...but don't ask them for their opinion on a game. They'll give you some generic answer and leave you asking "Dude...is the game good or not & is it worth buying"! Plus if they say a game is lame it's pretty much a good game. Trust your gut & buy it or see if they have the game used before buying it brand new.

A good Gamestop. My personal favorite. Employees are friendly and I've been to multiple midnight releases that went very smoothly, including the huge GTA V release. However I've recently discovered that Best Buy has this gamers club unlocked thing and it has singlehandedly assured that I will never shop at Gamestop again. I'd highly recommend it.

This is one of the biggest well organized GameStop I been to in the state of Arizona. From games to clothing and toys all in one. Well respected and definitely coming back here. Customer service you mite walk into some who don't know how to introduce them selves or how to explain things and it's a little frustrating but overall good store.

Just swung buy to get some battery packs and a charger for my controller and met Jeff, who was very friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about his job. When I asked about how the point system worked he was kind enough to explain it so that I would be able to make the most out of what I had. All in all, it was a great experience!

Great for ordering Collectible editions of games, and never have to worry that it will go missing and not be available when you pre-order something
