WORST EXPERIENCE in over 30 years of buying cars! We bought a car for my son which overheated and broke down at the side of the road on the second day. The owner kept on insisting that he needed to replicate the fault and couldn't find a problem, even though we had two separate videos of the coolant boiling. After 7 days and two attempts of having the car yard fix the problem we gave up on them and got an independent mechanic to look at the problem. He found the problem within 15 minutes (a faulty thermostat) which was a $250 repair. Owner was very rude and came up with childish excuses time and time again. (the coolant boiling, "was just basic thermodynamics" was my favorite). Think twice with this car yard. Edit for Car Yard Response: There was a major engine warning light which was the first thing mentioned on the RAA report. (Which you kept clearing). Apparently posting a review of my experience with Gawler Car World is classed as being a keyboard warrior. Don't take my word for it , this car yard has the lowest rating in Gawler, Elizabeth and the surrounding areas on google.

I bought a car from here..... The next day ran ruff got a tow truck to tow it back to the yard they done a service as they told us all there cars get a preservice went to pick it up but couldn't take it unless I pay for the service that just been done NEVER AGAIN DO NOT GO HERE AND WASTE YA GOOD MONEY

Stay away, they sold my sister a car with a blown head gasket, they sold my brother a car that stalled going around corners from the get go, and they sold my cousin an absolute lemon with stretched timing chains and a very worn turbo. All of the issues were not resolved.

If I could give this 0 stars, I would! I could not believe the arrogance and rudeness of the 2 fake salesman at Car World Gawler. Reminded me of the movie Matilda as the car was actually falling apart as we viewed it! Wouldn’t recommend Gawler Car World to ANYONE!

Very unprofessional, got told I had 3 months warranty on my I30 I bought. i then called up due to transmission issues TWO DAYS after and I got told because it was over 200,000km I didn’t have any!! DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THIS ESTABLISHMENT!! should be closed down.

Very Bad, I paid $300 and they said they will help register the car for 3months and after one month, I found out that the car is unregistered. I call back and ask and they just tell me sorry they forgot it. That’s a really big mistake. STAY AWAY

I purchased a vehicle from Ken at gawler car world I wasnt over impressed as customer service wasnt great and the few faults on the vehicle were alot worst than told by Ken, the best policy is honesty. Regards Deborah Packer

Went there Friday they weren't open still had 40mins left until closing time a day went there Monday for open time they weren't open at 9am waited 10mins still gates were closed so left

Believe the stories here, this place will happily sell you a broken car and fool you around for months pretending to fix it. Do not risk your money, go anywhere else.

Good independent caryard with a good variety of stock. Staff friendly but not pushy. Well established last 15 to 20 years.

Definitely get your moneys worth, staff was very helpful in finding the perfect car for me, definitely reccomend.

Waited for 20 mins after opening time and no one appeared. Phone not answered. Very poor. Would not recommend.

Salesperson is fairly quick to come and answer questions, and is not pushy. Prices are mostly competitive.

Sold a unroadworthy car and will not fix it or give money back. They lie to you also do not use them.
