Im new to the area. Googled dentists near me. Got your location pressed call. After 20 minutes with that rep. We scheduled my appt. Imagine my surprise when I learned I could be seen the very next day... (im like wow! This is great. Everywhere else is month out wait.) I arrive to appt where the lady says in front of the other people waiting in lobby "oh "YOURE" the one without insurance" i replied. No. Actually I have 2. I then proceed to explain that I spent 20 min with phone guy. I gave him all this info. She says. Well he put it in the wrong place. (Hows that my fault). She then says I emailed u forms. I asked if they could be printed. I forgot my readers... the guy says " well how can u read the paper if you domt have glasses." The lady then says You called the general line. I said. Well. I called the number listed in Google? Anyhoo. Needless to say I spent more time trying to answer your staffs rude condescending questions that I told them this wouldn't be a good fit. I understand now why you have next day availability. Reading the reviews, your front line staff handles your customers very rudely. Theyre getting paid. While prospective customers are walking away. I need deep cleaning and 2 crowns then veneers. I'm sure that'll pay atleast 1 check. For someone else's company. I have glaucoma and mac degeneration. To have 2 people poke fun at your customers. (Me) was so rude. To call out ones Financials (lack of insurance) is bold as hell. My recommendation. Have a family member call in or come in and try to get an appt. U wanna see how your staff handles your customers. Get that feedback.

I wanted to throw out a HUGE kudos to Gental Dental in Laveen. Let me start by saying, I HATE Dentists. VERY STRONG WORD HATE! I had some pretty severe teeth issues, becauae I HATE Dentists. I went to Western Dental that was more than a complete disaster. They offered to pull half my teeth, do a root canal, make a bridge, drill some cavities, and the bill after insurance was ove $7000. Before insurance $17.000.00. I made an appointment with Gental Dental, I saw the Dr. who is very nice, explained my options and did only what needed to be done. It was $2000.00 after insurance, and I kept all my teeth less one that had broke and needed to be pulled. Which was why I went in the first place. My dental hygentist is Amazing! Just had my one year check up, no cavities, I have a smile that makes me feel like $1,000,000.00. The staff are friendly, I dont wait long, and they have been more than great customer service, but I really like going to my checkups and cleanings. I actually look forward to going to the Denist. LoL... never in a million years would I say that. Gental Dental on 51st ave and Baseline, THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart you have a VERY HAPPY CUSTOMER!!!!

I had a great experience with Gental Dental! Although, there was a little misunderstanding on the scheduling portion of my visit, Gental Dental was able to squeeze me in and got almost half of what I needed done that day! They also got me in for a consultation the same day and I booked an appointment to get braces!! Gental Dental had such welcoming people. I got to meet a Hygienist, Orthodontist, and a few of the dental assistants as well as an intern(which I new!!! :D) and everyone was so welcoming. They made me feel really comfortable, they explained everything in detail and were very thorough! They made small talk which was also very comforting and made me feel like they weren’t just out for the money! They took their time but also got the job done in a timely manner! I’m so happy i found this dental clinic… I had attempted services at 3 different clinics before this so the amount of relief it brought me once I realized this was my place, maaaan, this place is 9/10! I would definitely recommend this clinic to anyone that happens to ask if I know anyplace! YOU GUYS WERE AWESOME! THANK YOU!

Excellent Customer Care, I went in 4 weeks a go to have 4 wisdom tooth removed and it was a wonderful experience especially since I was terrified just thinking about it. However, I went in and spoke to Mary Jane at the front desk and she made me feel at ease. She was able to get me an appointment for the next day after contacting her. She is wonderful! Also Dr. Kenny was very professional and very caring, He put all of my concerns at ease. Since I am over 40 the tooth extractions are not easy because of the deep roots. The first day after the removal was a little pain that went away with some ibuprophen 1 capsule every 8 hours and a lot of icing the area with an ice pack, 2nd day after that a little bit of swelling and by the 3rd day all pain and swelling was gone.Thank you so much for this wonderful experience.

I went for my first exam on 10/8/2023 and I know I need some serious dental work. I have been putting it off because of my anxiety of drills, scraping sounds etcetera. As soon as the dentist came in the room and started looking in my mouth I immediately started crying it was just like a gut reaction and everyone was so sweet nobody made me feel embarrassed or bad about it. And Heather at the front desk is amazing she gave me such great advice because my budget is tight and I'm trying to get as much done as I possibly can she's top notch professional. Also the hygienist Mari is hilarious and I love her and I can't wait to work with her in the future. Dr Hoops is great as well and I don't remember anybody else's names but everyone was wonderful.

I go to Gentle Dental for both Orthodontics and General Dentistry. I wanted to say that I love the orthodontics staff. A few times I needed to switch appointments at the last minute and they were very accommodating. They always take me back on time and I never have to wait long to see the doctor. The technicians that assist the office are very friendly as well as the front office staff. Most recently I was impressed because I broke a retainer and they got me in that day and made a new one for me right away. I would recommend their services! I do also have good experiences on the general side with promptness and customer service but wanted to call out the orthodontics side.

The call center that schedules appointments doesn’t have their calendar so I had an appointment with the orthodontist and when I got there they said that he was on vacation. I rescheduled and when I came back I waited over 30 minutes to be seen before giving up and leaving. On a separate occasion, I was seen by the dentist when I came in for a cleaning. It had been only 3 months since my last cleaning and was told I had 10 cavities somehow. They also told me I would need to pay $26 for fluoride and it wasn’t until I told them fluoride was covered by insurance that they removed the charge. Overall not impressed, however my cleaning was fine.

I want to say the hygienist was very kind and did her thing. However the front staff are extremely rude and disrespectful. My first appointment was canceled because the hygienist was sick and was not able to see me. I did not receive a single text or call informing I went to my appointment to find out. And I tried to get some fillings then asked for a refund because issues kept happening with my appointments. The billing person gave me a ton of back sas and attitude when all that was needed to be stated was your check will be mailed not the other stuff. Don’t go here.

This is a great Dentist office. You will get services offered to you that you NEED. There are several Dentist offices in this area. I left one office and came here the next day. The office I left said I needed ALOT of work. As of this writing (2 years ago) THAT work hasn't been done... because it was never needed. The Doctors are as Honest as they come. The hygienist Alyssa does a great job cleaning your teeth. She tells you if there's issues and offers pointers how to improve. Just a very pleasant young lady. You can't go wrong choosing this Dentist office.

DO NOT GOT YOUR TEETH CLEANED HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE TREATED DISRESPECTFULFUY. We just had a very unpleasant visit at gentle dental Laveen. They took my minor child back without bringing an adult back, Questioned her about her medical history which has nothing to do with her teeth and was overall rude and would not explain to me why they were continuing to do over 20X rays and they were not finished yet on my daughter and I all I wanted to know was if it was safe and all I got was attitude and I was asked to cancel my husband's appointment the next day.

So in the last month we have twice been scheduled only to be told one visit that the Dentist is not in our location today then the second visit that the Dentist was on Vacation and they forgot after sending me confirmation messages. After I left you then sent me a message that I missed the appointment. Now today I show up and waiting over a hour to be seen Ironic how the service plummet after we paid everything off wouldn't I be charged if I canceled twice without warning?

Very thankful for Gentle Dental in Laveen. I was in extreme pain because of my wisdom tooth. They were able to get me in within hours. When I arrived the staff was very welcoming and informative. I saw Dr. Nordland and she was very kind and was able to relieve my pain right away. Her assistant was awesome as well. They were also able to get me in for a consultation with the oral surgeon the next day. I would recommend this practice to everyone.

The dentistry lives up to their name. I had a very Gentle & pleasant time during my routine exam and cleaning. The receptionists were kind and professional. My hygienists were excellent and knowledgeable. The doctor was very kind and answered all of my questions. Awesome staff everyone makes you feel comfortable as they give you a clear understanding of your procedure that's going to be done. Now came time to check out had an issue with my insurance. Didn't fully understand it...but THANKS to Tyler he took the time to explain what the issue was and how it could be resolved. Got that resolved and was on my way in a matter of minutes.

I had a bad experience at this office when I clearly explained I was covered under Ahcccs which provides emergency dental benefits. They wrongfully told me Ahcccs does not cover dental and presented me with an application for a credit card. I ended up paying everything out of pocket when I could have used my emergency benefit. They are not looking out for their patients.

As someone who has high dental anxiety, I can honestly say this is the best dental experience I’ve ever had! Dr. J is really informative and cares about his patients. I want to shoutout the whole staff, especially my dental assistant Jared! He was so kind and made me feel comfortable. For the first ever, I can say I look forward to my dental visits! I really enjoyed my new patient exam! The team was kind and friendly. They even made me laugh at certain points during the exam. They were able to curate a plan to fit my needs and breakdown a thorough explanation of the treatment and cost. I appreciated their sincerity and will most definitely be returning to keep my smile bright!

Dental assistant Eduardo made me feel welcomed, he engaged conversation with me and made sure to let me know if i was feeling uncomfortable during my treatment to let him know. I had an amazing experience at this location. All of the employees were so sweet and helpful especially Jared, he answered all my questions and had so much patients with me, he made me feel very comfortable and definitely put a smile on my face. I must admit an aversion to Dental work. Having said that the experience at Gentle Dental was swift, cost effective and relatively painless. The staff and Drs are excellent. Very professional and friendly. I would highly recommend their service to all. I have never had a more pleasant Dental Experience!

It’s hard to say that you had a great experience at the dentist but I think jared and crew made me feel super comfortable, and welcomed me with care. I will continue to use them as my family dentist. I’ve already scheduled my son and appointment and will be booking the rest of the family as well.

Horrible service, text messages send without information and sent after hours. Done dealing with them. I have a different dentists, yet receiving harassing text messages and phone calls, even after telling them to remove me!

When I tell you that I am the most difficult patient to take x-rays of, I am not exaggerating. Mari and Heather went above and beyond, to accommodate my difficult situation. I am beyond grateful for their help.
