I visited your fodder store on Saturday in search of chickens 3 ISA browns and 2 what were called mix breed for my new chicken house. I am very new to buying chickens, and assumed that the fodder would be selling healthy chickens. When I brought the chickens home one of the mix breeds started sneezing so it was quarantined and given all the help it could to try and get better, but unfortunately it passed away last night. I only had her for 4 days, when I rang the fodder today to inform them of the situation. I spoke to Rodney who was extremely rude and implying that it was my fault that the chicken died and I should’ve checked before they left. I am now out of pocket and down a chicken who were cared for. I would’ve expected more from a more respected fodder store but I see that not the case. I will not be using this fodder again, and I am now in search for a new chicken.

Apparantly 23 week old point of lay chooks are still 8weeks off layin false advertising chooks were more like 16 weeks. 1 of the chooks couldnt open its eyes some sort of virus im guessing so couldnt fend for itself it passed away called up to see what could be done. Coulnt have cared less about either of my issues just argued instead of trying to rectify Very poor

Good range of feed for birds & other pets, prices reasonable & a convenient location. Parking not an issue, got in & out easily. Service was prompt & attentive not to mention the attendant personable with helpful chatter. I've been here several times, will come again & have no hesitation in recommending this establishment. What an interesting shop, today I went there for the first time. They have a decent range of dry dog food, dog treats, chicken food & honey. The salesman was very helpful and friendly. Unfortunately the stores little corella wasn't in a talkative mood... but he seemed friendlier when I told him he was beautiful.

We got perfectly set up for our chickens with a 20 minute visit. The prices are really quite reasonable and they will bend over backwards to give you everything you need. All of the things that you need to know when you start up so that your chickens are clean and healthy, and so are your eggs!

Great service and reasonable pricing. They have a good deal on chook pellets at the moment if you buy two bags. The price of their point-of-lay chooks is high compared to places a bit further away but that’s to be expected I guess for a city location.

The two guys are always very friendly and approachable. Good knowledge of products and other tips. Convenient hours of business that work for me. Prices reasonable and nothing is ever too much trouble for the staff on duty. Thankyou both.

I have been coming here for the last 7 years. I usually get rabbit feed and chook wheat. If your looking for chooks they have a nice collection of isa reds cross. You can get hay and peat straw. They sell chook feeders.

Who cant be happy bringing home 4 new family members. Healthy happy chickens! Great service, and everything we needed to feed and water the hens! First egg today. Should have bought some years ago!

Always friendly, always helpful...-if the boys havnt got it in stock, then they will get it. Its never too much a effort, hence I , we have no need to go to someone else... Thanks boys!!!

The owner is very helpful, in discussing what you need to purchase for your animals or birds, has a top range feed and health products for pigeons.
