"As other reviewers have mentioned, Dr"
I honestly cannot believe this clinic has five star reviews. I have two 14 year old dogs. One was diagnosed with cancer and I had been watching him closely for signs of pain, I knew he would let me know when it was time. Finally that day came. Which is one of the days you fear most, especially since I’ve had them since 19 years old. Rocky was everything to me. My entire adulthood from 19-34 years as been spent loving them, and i did a fantastic job. I called all around, this clinic was close and the most reasonable price. I have been with two friends, one to put her dog down at Alta vista, and the other friend to bring her already passed dog (to Boyd). Both experiences were as good as they could be. Empathetic staff, they spoke softly, answered questions. The one being put down had a couch to lay on, and me and my friend were sitting on the floor with him the whole time. It was a comforting setting for how hard the situation was. The room I walked into was sterile, a small table, nothing comforting. It was worse than a normal vet room. Not to mention the table barely fit my dog. I had my second dog with me as they’ve been partners for 14 years. He hardly paid attention to my dying baby, didn’t approach me softly and was completely apathetic. It was all business. Completely not what I was expecting given my previous soft experiences with my friends dogs. They explained the procedure to me and I asked for a little more time with my boy. They obliged and left the room. When I was finally ready for the hardest decision as a pet owner, my brother told them and they came back a couple minutes later, said they weren’t ready and left again. When a pet owner finally is ready to let go of their family member, you should listen and not leave the room again and leave them to sit some more on “their time”. He came back in, I asked if my sweet girl could be on the table with her partner to comfort him, (it’s been just the three of us the entire 14 years) and he gave me a hard time. The vet, I’m assuming dr Fattah, spoke to me with tone the entire visit. Finally I said “are you seriously giving me time right now, at my dogs death? How are you this apathetic”. He backed off but it ruined what should have been a sad but beautiful send off for my boy. I was shocked. On my way out, all the staff stood there and so apathetically and almost robotically said “sorry for your loss” and not one voice sounded meaningful or empathetic. Not one. I’ve never experienced anything like it. I will not be taking my other dog there when the time comes. I could never knowingly send another dog off to the next life like that. I did a disservice to Rocky that day going to that vet. Not to mention they charge $23 dollars for a clipping of your own dogs fur, it’s your dogs hair. Something you’ve touched countless time everyday for Years. Totally profiting off of grief and vulnerability. Do not take your dog there. Even my sweet and polite brother was shocked and told me I should write this review. Don’t do it. Go to Alta vista. Pay the extra dollars to put your animal down at home. Anything but that place.
Don't take your pets here if you love them. They don't care about them; they care about money, and they will lie to you to get it. I've been here twice. I was told I'd pay $350 for my three cats to treat some ear mites, but I left paying 500. They guerenteed me they would be cured in a month if we got the more expensive two-time treatment. A month and a half later, our pets are worse. I went back stressed. They said they would do an exam and wouldn't charge us for it if they found ear mites. Our vet and nurse were very passive-aggressive. They tried to say our pets have no ear mites and claimed the brown specs and blood throughout their ears were earwax. When we questioned that, he changed his diagnosis to an ear infection and tried to sell us products. Luckily, we were fully aware our cats still had ear mites. He was lying. I then asked, "If I go to another vet on the same day, and they say they do have ear mites, will I get a refund?" The nurse got offended and yelled at us for accusing them of lying, refusing to answer our question The vet said, "If anouther vet says they have ear mites, it's not because the treatment didn't work; it's because they got it from you within the time you left this clinic." I pointed out to the vet that feline ear mites can't be passed to humans and vice versa, which ironically, he should know. He tried to gaslight me into believing humans can give cats ear mites. I made it clear that he can't take advantage of me because I'm young, and I knew he could be lying, and that I'd like a second pet clinic's opinion. The nurse got emotionally aggressive because of the word lying and proceeded to ignore what I said and yelled that we leave immediately in front of the entire clinic and our cats with sensitive ears. I think she had been caught in a lie and needed a way out. We let her know that the lack of professionalism for a clinic isn't okay, you can't yell at clients. She said my attitude gave her the right. She proceeded to put her hand in front of my boyfriend's face and, with aggression, tried to keep him from talking while he was trying to reason with her (he was using a normal tone of voice with a calm demeanor.) They made us leave, and we had to stand outside with our three cats in the snow waiting for our Uber. So our cats are still in pain, we wasted $500 and Uber fees and have to pay for treatment from anouther clinic. I've never had such bad experience with a clinic before.
TL;DR I've never been to a clinic where the vet didn't interact with my puppy (i.e. allow for a sniff or giving him a pet). He stood as far away from my 5-month old puppy as he could. The consult lasted about 5 minutes. That included questions and the physical exam. Honestly, by the end of the 5 minutes I wanted to get out of there. I went to this clinic after reading all the reviews. Took my 5 month old puppy in to be weighed and to have a general check up, he was seen by Dr.Fattah. When the vet walked in, he didn't even pet or look at the puppy. I told him that I was here for a general check up. Right as the vet kneels down he asks for me to pull my dog by the collar so he doesn't run away or move. Of course my dog wants to turn around and sniff him, since the vet ignored him completely, so his head is moving around to look at the vet. The Dr stands up, frustrated at ME and says that I either need to pull my dog's collar or put him on the table. He's 40lbs and to be honest I don't lift. So I'm trying to hold my dog's head while he lifted ONE ear, didn't look into the ear, and said he was fine. Probably listened to the heart as my boy was pacing the room, probably looked at his teeth as he was panting. And that was it, exam done. No temperature, not checking the movement of the joints, no asking what food he was eating, no pets for my dog. Actually ZERO interaction with the dog. He also told me that ALL dogs can be neutered at 5-6 months, and since my puppy was being "hyper" (the poor boy was trying to figure out what was going on prior to having his neck pulled) it would be a good idea to do it now. I told him that my previous vet had told me that larger dogs are neutered later because of the effects of developing joints. He said all the vets I was talking to who said that didn't know what they were talking about. And that there would be no effect on the dog. Well since I was paying for a full exam, I tried to ask some questions but realizing I was getting nothing out of the consult other than my dog being stressed out. I wanted to get out of there ASAP. The vet "palpating" my dog and doing a "check up" literally took 3 minutes. My questions added another minute, my questioning of his knowledge in neutering added another minute. The whole consult was probably 5 minutes long. That's 5 minutes and $80 that I won't be getting back.
I wish I didn't need to write this negative review, but the wellbeing of our pets is critical - I would completely not recommend the Glebe Pet Hospital. We brought our cats in a few times between Spring 2020 and summer 2021 - we had recently adopted them, and Glebe is close to where we live. But, we faced major lack of organization of our two cats' files, lack of compassion when we came in with concerns about our cats, and the lack of professionalism and respect overall. Every time I came in for an appointment, I would have to remind the front desk staff, and then also the vet once in the room why I was there for an appointment. They would ask me details about our cats' medical history that I didn't necessarily know (because it's all in their files... and I stressed to them that I really didn't know everything because our cats were recently adopted), and then be disgruntled towards me when I didn't know the info. ... Which they should have on file. This was a tiring, repeated issue. But the biggest challenge was frankly my interactions with Dr. Fattah. I brought the cats in with concern that they were losing weight too quickly on the diet we were told to put them on - I was dismissed, ignored, and made uncomfortable by he and the other male vet tech who made it seem as though my concerns were all just in my head. I got no guidance or help. When we brought our one of our cats to a different vet several months later, our new vet was shocked that Glebe hadn't expressed concern at the rapid rate our cats were losing weight, and that they hadn't listened to these concerns. (p.s. I love Dr O'Ree at the Alta Vista Animal Hospital). Dr. Fattah would often express to me that we may as well just "wait and see" how our cats' health improved, rather than running certain tests or doing check-up appointments, with the angle that that would save us money. But I will gladly spend any money if you're telling me you think my cat may be ill and I should run a test... it was very puzzling, taxing, confusing conversations with this vet, every time. There's a lot more I could say... but bottom line is I would entirely not recommend the Glebe Pet Hospital. They're disorganized, and don't put pet's health and care as the first priority.
As other reviewers have mentioned, Dr. fattah's services tend to cost less than at other vets in the city. However, there are definitely draw backs to his clinic's service. If your pet only needs routine vaccinations, this place will be fine, but anything else, I hope you'll be able to take your pet elsewhere. My dog was my first dog and so she was my first time navigating an old dog's health. She became ill this year and when it came to a tumour in her body, Dr. Fattah did not consult me on the pros and cons of surgery. After surgery, my dog had a difficult time recovering, suffered from an infection for several months, and the tumour eventually came back. Due to my dog's health, I had to make many visits to this clinic this year. Every appointment, I dreaded going because Dr. Fattah was often dismissive and his staff were unorganized. The technician had mistakenly fed my dog half her dose of painkillers during her overnight stay. Multiple times, my appointment was late more than an hour. When I came to drop off a pee sample, there must've been instructions that weren't given to me because the technician treated me as if I was doing something ridiculous. Because they were like this, I worry about the mistakes / disorganization that might've happened during my pet's surgery. I tried asking Dr. Fattah during the many visits if he thought my dog was in pain. He responded to me, "you should tell me", as if I was the vet in this situation. Dr. Fattah, I hope you realize that pet owners come to you for guidance and support. We don't come to you because we already know everything when it comes to our pets. We are looking for someone to trust during this tough and sad process. We ended up putting her down in November as her quality of life was very low. It hurts me to think that she might've had a healthier time before death if she didn't go through surgery this year. I'm very glad we went to a different vet for her euthanasia. The vet and staff were personable, empathetic, and did not think of us as a nuisance. They respected the pain we were going through and helped us make the right decision. A couple of the technicians are very nice and I hope they might find a better place to work.
I went to this hospital on Thursday September 8th because my dog had stopped eating, seemed wobbly and confused. After Dr. Fattah examined him he told me " he is just old and in pain" before prescribing Aventi ( $70 bottle of CBD pills) explaining that all the other pain medications were hard on internal organs. I was well aware of this however at 15.5 years old, on heart meds and having undergone a double enucleation this past March, I do not think damaging his organs was really relevant at this point. What was relevant and would have been appreciated was the fact that my dog had lost 25% of his body weight, could barely hold himself up and was exhibiting other signs of neurological issues such as hind leg crossing which he had never done before. I explained all this to Dr. Fattah who said there was no need to do any further testing. That part I mostly agreed with however he could have taken his blood pressure or performed a few basic neuro tests. I explained I was going to a cottage for a week just a couple of days later and he said there was no need to worry. The following day when Muggs still was not eating, I went back to the hospital to purchase some urgent care food at which time I was told it would be ok to force feed him, even for a whole week. I was not very comfortable with this yet still went ahead with my cottage plans. One or two days later it was evident that there was no coming back from this and I was left out in the country trying to find a vet that could see us to euthanize my dog. All of the nearby animal hospitals were short staffed and over booked with no possibility of helping us out. In the end I was able to get a service to come out and paid astronomical fees for this to happen. Today I went back to return the pricey CBD pills that should have never been prescribed and of course because it had been opened and one was used I was told no refund. I am well aware of the policies regarding opened medication and did not expect them to resell it and rather would have hoped for a little kindness and compassion after Muggs was clearly not given the evaluation and attention he deserved. I will stay that the reception staff and vet techs are all pretty great.
Please read several of the negative reviews before deciding to bring your pet here - I certainly wish I did. Some of the things these people have done are honestly crazy and not worth supporting with your money (e.g. cancelling a scheduled emergency surgery for an innocent dog because you received a negative review on google from the owner... seriously? Just petty, unethical, and inhumane). My own experience has been very unpleasant so far - Dr. Fattah himself was quite personable and I have nothing to complain about regarding his services, but the admin staff were absolutely awful. The worst receptionists I have ever interacted with. Rude and uncommunicative in the sense that they will never interact with you unless they absolutely need to (when you are called in to see the vet & when you are paying for their services) - they outright ignored me otherwise, even when I approached them at the front desk - a simple "you can take a seat" or "can you please wait a minute" would have helped, but they will ignore you and call you up as they please. They are also incredibly disorganized - the doctor has no idea what im taking my dog there for every time I go (I don't even think its his fault, my guess is the receptionists dont bother taking notes). It's also taken 4+ attempts for my puppy's vaccination receipts to be sent to my email as they have repeatedly screwed up the email address (even after carefully spelling it out for them with the NATO phonetic alphabet twice each time...) The third time I requested the email to be sent, the receptionist said "ok its in the system now" and when I politely asked her to repeat the email address to me she stared at me for a moment without saying anything and ROLLED HER EYES!!!! Unbelievable. They are also unprofessional in the sense that they act as if you are not even there and discuss inappropriate topics right in front of you - whether it is badmouthing previous clients who came in, or discussing how they are UNABLE to do their job and "don't know what they are doing" as they are entering the codes for your puppy's vaccination receipt..... I would give 0 stars if I could. Never coming back.
Dr. Fattah is a terrible listener, poor communicator, completely apathetic, and disrespectful veterinarian. We started taking our adopted cats to Glebe because they are close to where we live. Our problems started when we had to ask a number of times to have our cats' files transferred from their previous vet. Up until our last visit it seems like those files were either never received, lost or ignored. They are extremely disorganized, and many things that are told to us on the phone are never noted in our file, resulting in confusing when we are passed along to another team member. But the worst part of our experience with Glebe is with Dr. Fattah himself. Dr. Fattah does not listen. Since they never really kept track of our transfer of records we always had to fill in the gaps ourselves to give him the big picture of our cat's health, which most of the time he would either ignore, or curtly dismiss with something like "We're not talking about that. We're talking about today." -- as if he has some strange notion that an animals health exists in a vacuum, on whatever day it happens to be at the time, and there is no such thing as symptoms, or cause and effect. I can't stress enough how much he is a terrible listener, a poor communicator, and seems to be more interested in saving us money, than the welfare of our cats. One of our cats had a blood test done at Glebe, and they forgot to call us to let us know the results. Two weeks later we followed up, and Dr. Fattah threw around words like "virus" and "leukemia" in speculation but also said he had no idea what the implications of the test where, and would not offer any advice on what to monitor in our cat until seriously pressed. I should not have to demand advice from a veterinarian, especially when they are speculating on such serious test results. My partner, a woman, dealt with Dr. Fattah more than I did, but he was always dismissive, rude, and would constantly interrupt her. He never did this with me, a man. In short, if you want a stress-free, compassionate vet who listens to you and offers helpful advice, steer clear of Dr. Fattah and the Glebe Pet Hospital at all costs.
I do not recommend this clinic. They did not take time to know my dogs needs, support post-surgery, or take strides to make my dog comfortable. This is not my regular vet, but my 9 month old dog got her second round of vaccines and then her spay done at the GVH. I thought the vet was fine after her vaccine, until I met with my current vet and the contrast was stark! Unlike Dr. Fattah, my vet checked my puppy's ears, told me how to clean them, asked in-depth questions about her health, and taught me loads while administering her vaccine. Dr. Fattah simply poked my dog with her vaccine, who growled at him, and then told me I needed to train my dog better. Most importantly, my experience with my dog's spay was terrible. It was a curb-side pick-up after her surgery and I was left with my 60+lbs drugged dog after a very rushed handover. No information about care, things to look out for (like hernias or seromas), or information on care. My dog is a HIGH DRIVE working dog. When speaking with my vet (not Dr. Fattah) she said a mild sedative would have been recommended to manage her energy while she healed. I never spoke with Dr. Fattah once throughout my many post-opt calls, as she developed a seroma and then an infection. The clerks are friendly but don't seem trained in veterinary health, and would leave me on hold for 5 minutes after asking to leave me on a "brief hold." The surgery site developed a seroma (which they drained), and then became infected. Though I sent in photos and descriptions, they never diagnosed the infection. I went back to my vet and thankfully was given antiseptic cleaner and antibiotics. This vet is dirty, smells terrible, and shows no sign of caring for the pet. Because I am able to compare the experience with my other vet, where the clinic is incredibly clean, the clerk is hands-on and goes the extra mile to make my dog comfortable, I just know that GVH is not good. Look elsewhere, it will cost the same or likely less, and be a much safer experience for you and your pet.
We brought our 11 year old dachshund mix to be treated for a sore leg. The vet administered a non-steroid anti-inflammatory drug that she had never had before. It started to destroy her kidneys. The staff would not give us an appointment for an additional 4 days after we told them she was having problems. Very long story shortened...after emergency trips and many kind and informed vets, she died. It took several very sad weeks. All the emergency doctors said that this vet should have gotten blood tests before administering this drug. And that she should have been seen as soon as we told them she was vomiting and in distress. He has been incredibly negligent and it cost us the life of a very sweet and well-loved friend. Her name was Butterscotch but we called her B. Belatedly, I looked at the manufacturers site for the drug she was administered and realized that she did not weigh enough to be prescribed the drug at all. I contacted the drug company and they were very concerned and asked all the emergency vets for their paperwork regarding this incident, and then asked us if they could do a necropsy (at their expense)!! We agreed and are awaiting the results. In short, the drug is good only if administered responsibly. The vet did not follow the very simple instructions of the drug company. And our dog died...despite the best efforts of many other more competent vets. The results have been sent to the proper authorities who will be looking in to this case. Be alert please...this is a terrible way to lose your pet buddy!
Brought my cat to this hospital to check about a URI and some missing teeth. The vet gave us antibiotics, told us that the URI issue is chronic, nothing he can do, but to take medication when it happens. We proceed to ask about the teeth, he answered “I couldn’t fix everything in one visit, you come back for the teeth in a different visit. I cannot treat the teeth when there is a URI going on.” I asked more about the teeth because we do not want to treat the teeth in this visit but just want to know if our cat is in pain. The vet appeared to be impatient and annoyed, and said yes she probably has some teeth issue but come back for another visit. The vet doesn’t seem to care, and I will not recommend you to visit here if you are looking for attentive and caring vet. I was here five years ago and it was a different vet, she gave the best care that she could when my cat was diagnosed with wet FIP. And that’s the only reason I am giving it a two star instead of one. Update: we brought our cat to another clinic two months after because the URI returned after we finished the medication. This vet told us that our cat indeed has infected teeth in the back, likely the cause of the URI. He removed two teeth in the follow-up surgery and our cat has been healthy since then. No returned URI since the surgery. I am not just disappointed but more so angry about how the first vet turn down our requests to check our cat’s teeth in the first place. SMH.
Cat ear polyps? Look no further! After disappointments and more disappointments by other vets who just wanted money and didn't care for the welfare of my cat, I finally found with this amazing vet! I called pretty much all the vet clinics in Ottawa as my cat ear was not getting any better. While others insisted $2700 surgery to open up the entire ear canal to remove the section and completely closing off to avoid the polyps re-occurring, this was the only office that offered the simple extraction of the polyps by less than $500. The surgery was simple and unlike the other ridiculously expensive option where my cat will permanently lose hearing of the ear, he can still hear everything and his ear has had no issues since. True that simple extraction may not be a permanent resolution for the polyps from re-occurring, no one except this office considered my cat's age (10 years old), and offered this option. That is: growth of the polyps take time and that it is unlikely it will come back considering my cat's age. Even if it does, I will simply have it removed again. The best of all, there is no "SALES PITCH." I have horrible experiences with other clinics that made me wonder they wanted my cat sicker so that they could make more money off me. So glad that I am with this vet!
My husband and I took our pup here and will not be returning. After reading the reviews, we were excited to hopefully call this vet, our vet however, as soon as we walked in, we already had one foot out. It smelled strongly of cat urine, or litter.. both I guess. They have an adorable cat that lives openly in the waiting room, perhaps they aren't on top of her litter. The staff was friendly however the receptionist wasn't professional in how she conducted herself while customers were around. She spoke rudely to vet techs/assistant regarding their duties and would cut you off in mid sentence to give her input into a conversation that the other staff was having on the other side of the counter. I can't recall the name of the vet we saw, although he was nice, he wasn't super warm or friendly. He didn't ask for our names either. The examine room appeared to be unclean. We went only to have our pup's swollen toe looked at and after that plus some ointment, $120. The vet tech's seemed super sweet and friendly. They are also conveniently located right beside a Pet Valu. I think they could make some improvements to their customer service and to the cleanliness of their establishment. At this point, I wouldn't recommend. Our search continues for "the one" for our dog and cat.
The stars are for the actual service, which is neither better nor worse than any other clinic I have been to. The customer service score is ZERO. I made an appointment in the fall to get my pet fixed in the new year. I was given a quote and some details about what is included. When I showed up for the appointment, they took my pet inside and then brought out three sheets of paper to read over (AFTER they took my pet). Not only were there several details not mentioned before, the price had gone up by 80%. I wasn't going to cancel my pet's surgery on the spot, but figured I would call and inquire afterwards to see if this was a mistake. When I called, the manager was quite abrupt with me. They said the price went up in the new year and their version of transparency is letting you know the day of your appointment, after your pet has gone inside. I asked why they didn't send an update about their prices and policies to their client mailing list - the response was it is too difficult to email 5000 clients (and prices are always subject to change...yes, by hundreds of dollars at no notice). I tried to say that not being transparent about pricing is unprofessional, and the response was the clinic does not care if they lose clients (because they have a whole 5000 of them).
We used to go their with our previous dog, only because it was a walking distance. They do their job, but that's it. The whole place has a tired look, and it expands to the staff. Just my opinion, of course. Recently we got a new puppy who was spayed there last month. The cone of shame (which is also a day-before-yesterday approach now that there are post-op suits available) stayed on for the prescribed two weeks. Unfortunately, 10 days post-op she developed a wound infection, which can happen, no biggie. When I called the hospital, the vet was "out of the office and the country for two weeks", according to the staff, who also advised us to go to a different vet. We did that, and we'll never go back to the Glebe Pet Hospital. The staff - when I called twice within a week - advised me to take pictures of the wound, which was steadily worsening, and email them to the office. As you might guess, it did nothing to help our situation. The phone response I received was "the wound is not ideal, but not too bad" and "We are not vets". FYI, I am an RN and I know an infected wound vs an inflamed one. Finally, we got a kind and considerate home visiting vet who removed the sutures and put her on antibiotics. All is well now, and goodbye, Glebe Pet Hospital.
I have been taking my three dogs here for some time. The office entrance smells funny and has a cracked window , so the vet definitely isn’t spending its money of the aesthetics of the place. Iv experience some of the staff being rude or unknowledgeable, lacking some tact when dealing with the public. However the place has the right prices for someone like me who has three dogs vet bills to pay and overall the care I have received from the vets has been good. They get to the point and don’t over charge you. They make sure your pet is healthy and well. It is hard to get in last minute sometimes. Just be on it about what you want and need done when you are there so that you pay for what you receive. I don’t think it comes with any bad will just new or undertrained people when it comes to good tact dealing with the public. I see the female vet and I personally find her to be the best. She is kind and gentle with our dogs and answers ALL and any questions we have in the appointment. If you want a vet that gets the job done and won’t over treat your pet at the right price this is your place. You just don’t pay for frills or fancy service. Update Nov 23 Window fixed , smell gone. Dr F has fair prices. New staff seem much friendlier.
I originally booked a booster shot appointment here because it had the most affordable price. But I will now be making glebe pet hospital my only vet because of their outstanding service. They checked my prior file from my other vet and noticed my dog would need a different booster in less than a month so they asked me if I wanted to do them both at the same time. Also, the booster shot came with a regular examination and the vet was able to diagnose the rash on my dogs belly. He prescribed a medication for it and it is now completely healed. I also bought a cone from them and a large bottle of ear cleaner and deodorizer. With those products, the medication and two different booster shot for $218. Which is almost 100$ less than treatwell wanted for just the single booster shot. The vet was nice and accommodating to me and my 2 year old daughter. I was hesitant to book based on some of the bad reviews but I am so thankful I tried this place and saw with my eyes the great team working here and the outstanding service they provided me with.
I visited the Glebe veterinarian with my older sickly dog who had been limping lately. I was forced to wait for 30 minuets while two of the veterinary assistants talked to a couple at length about several pages of paperwork and procedures for a dog leaving the country. In general the staff were nice to me and my dog aside from the Dr who I saw for a total of 10-15 minuets and left me with no answers or information. Dr. Fattah seemed completely disinterested in my dogs health or my personal feelings. My dog progressively got worse very quickly over the next few days, which I would later find out was due to kidney failure. When I called the Glebe pet hospital back telling them that my dog was no longer eating or drinking they said to watch her for 24/48 hours and call back. Within 24 hours I had visited a different vet who explained what was wrong, looked over my dog thoroughly, and treated me, as well as my dog, with the upmost respect. I would never recommend the Glebe hospital to anyone what an awful experience.
I’ve booked time off work several times to take my new puppy for his second vaccinations. I have had my appointment cancelled several times with short notice and have had to book new days off work several times. My puppy has since developed symptoms of a uti and I have been counting on going in to the vet this week to help him. When they called to rebook my appointment today I expressed my concern about the UTI and waiting longer and the girl on the phones response was “well I can cancel your appointment the “. Very frustrating. very unprofessional. Lack of compassion. Upon booking a new appointment for my puppies 2nd round of vaccinations, I was informed that since he missed the 6 week mark (because of my appointments being cancelled) that he will have to start over all of his vaccinations. Thank you Glebe Pet Hospital for wasting my time, my money, and putting me in hot water at work. Steer clear if you’re looking for consistency and quality care.
They're curbside only, which is HORRIBLE, but hopefully that's just the law (although what a backwards law - in human medicine, this is recognized, and in-person consults have been back for a long time now because it's essential to patient care.) Dr. Hossein seems to genuinely care for animals, the staff are a little green but this seems to me like a good sign - they run their clinic like a clinic, not a business, which is more than you can say for most veterinary practices these days, unfortunately. That's not a knock on other vets; I get it, the profession is between a rock and a hard place (high cost of education, combined with clients who don't have the means to cover their pet's life-threatening needs because this industry is entirely private.) But it's nice to know that we have slightly more humane options in this city. Glad that my kitty and I accidentally got "stuck" with this one because Pretoria isn't accepting new patients.
There are many things that go against them. Whenever I call, the receptionist is Ill tempered. When you walk in, you're hit with the smell of urine. There's very obvious tension between staff and they do nothing to hide their displeasure with each other. My poor cat was there to be euthanized. I was lucky to have a vet who was kind, understanding , and knowledgeable. She described what would happen. When I walked my angel into that room, it looked like a dirty utility room. My friend, who was there for support, saw bloody tissues and the mat that I placed him on was dirty. What I don't remember her telling me, is the noise your pet will make from the gas they use to sedated them. That sound will never leave my mind for as long as I live. It wasn't until everything was said and done, that I realized other clinics also use injection to sedate. Please. If you have to send you dear friend to heaven, don't do it here.
Bad Experience. I brought my puppy here to get her first shot. Not only were the staff incredibly unfriendly but the facilities were very unclean. As a new dog owner I had tons of questions for the vet, but only received a reply of "look it up online". Thinking I'd give it another shot, I went in to inquire about an appointment and advice on my puppy's eye infection. As a worried dog owner, the desk staff or 'medical assistant' was the least helpful. Understandably busy, they could not get my puppy in for 3 weeks. As this was an emergency, I asked if there was anything I could do beforehand or advice on where I could take her if things progress.. the response from the team was again "look it up online". Surprising that the generic response to an acclaimed facility was to google information. Disappointed, and I hope that no one else especially new and hyper worried pet owners have to experience this.
I usually don't give reviews like this but overall, my experience was terrible. The staff all seemed nice and friendly but also clearly seemed unhappy and/or discouraged. The air seemed heavy. The vet that used to be here was great but the new one was very rude and dismissive. He seemed annoyed at my being there, going so far as to ask why I was even there. All the while, we were told to bring the pet in for a mandatory check-up or her prescriptions wouldn't be renewed. I politely explained this to him and he got noticibly more dissonant, then proceeded to listen to her lungs for 5 seconds, opened her mouth and looked down into it for 5 seconds, told me I can talk to the staff at the front desk for any prescriptions, and left. A total of maybe 4 minutes of uncomfortable interaction and wound up paying $100 for his time and $200 in prescriptions. Do not recommend. Wish I could give 0 stars.
Brought my dog here since he was a puppy, everything seemed fine until he needed surgery. They butchered his cherry eye surgery (you can literally see where he cut and it still pops out). I paid for an exploratory surgery for them to find my dogs undescended testicle and he said it wasn’t there (it’s very rare). Over 1 year later I go to another vet and they find it with an ultrasound, right where it should be and where it should be checked. My dog needed to have another surgery which resulted in complications because it was inside him too long. Took them weeks to get back to me and didn’t offer any solution. Best part, they didn’t refund the entire surgery. Which was also overpriced according to my new vet. Do not take your dog here. My dog went through the trauma for two surgeries when it should have been done in one. I cannot stress it enough, DO NOT take any animal here.
My experience with the vet and a few of the techs are pleasant to deal with, however the negative experiences outweighed. Both times I had an appointment it was rescheduled, if you don't get lucky to speak with one or two techs the rest are brusque to the point of rudeness, they did not check the files I had made available to them from the previous vet, and I was told last minute to source my own "e-collar" after my pet's surgery in the middle of a stay at home order. This is typically included in the (not small) cost, but no courtesy discount was given to offset the inconvenience and the wrong sizing (or at least unclear sizing) was provided over the phone. None of these things alone are overly bad, however it adds up to a negative impression after only two visits. Personally, I would rather give my money to somewhere that is polite when I call more times than not.
3 years ago I brought my dying dog to this clinic and the doctor at the time was absolutely amazing. Saved my dogs life. The vet was caring and even called us after our appointment to offer help and suggestions on how to save our dog. Bring us to 2021 and the service you get here from the new vet is not good at all. He really didn't seem to care about my STILL SICK dog and offered no advice and talked about everything else other than what we went there for. When asked questions he just shrugged his shoulders and said I don't know. The way he spoke to me made us feel like we were bad pet owners and seem distant from even remotely caring about the animal. Pushed all types of services on us just to try and make a few bucks. If you want a vet that cares about your animal, this is not the place to go. They are only looking for your money with no services to go with it.
Dr Hussein, if you read these then you should go back and read my email where all i ever asked for was to move the surgery a few days earlier and NOT TO CANCEL the lump removal. I just read the last entry the file and horrified by the level of misinformation you were fed. I never questioned your abilities and the notes make a lot of "Claims" that are simply not true nor mine. If mistrust was an issue i would not have asked to move the appointment earlier and let me re-iterate that i wanted to do it all as we had discussed. Had you taken the 2 minutes to talk to me instead of relaying messages based on someone else's interpretation, you would not have thrown away a 7 year relationship at a time when my dog needed you most 6 days from his surgery. You are welcome to review the email i sent asking for the new apt and call me if you want. Elias
This review is long overdue. In summer 2018 my dog Ava had an unfortunate accident where she tore her CCL while playing fetch. To put this experience simply, Dr. Fattah fixed my dog's leg and within a few months after surgery, she was back to running like normal. My dog is very active and runs very fast. Almost 3 years later, at 8 years old, she is running like nothing ever happened. When she originally injured herself I was worried that she would have permanent lameness in her leg, but there is absolutely none. Dr. Fattah is very direct and straight to the point, no BS. He gave me 2 options for surgery, and recommended the much more affordable option which evidently worked. The staff at Glebe Animal Hospital are always very nice and I would recommend this vet to anyone.
I work at another clinic in the area who had a couple with a sick hedgehog show-up as a walk-in. Unfortunately, we are not a clinic that is equipped to provide care to exotic species such as these, which meant there was almost nothing we could do for this sick animal. Glebe Pet Hospital agreed to take the patient no questions asked and booked the couple an appointment within the hour on a busy Saturday afternoon when they were already booked solid for the day. This sort of thing doesn't get spoken about enough in the vet industry and Glebe Pet Hospital truly deserves to be commended for stepping up in this situation. Thank you to you and your staff, your help is truly appreciated. Regards, - L
Terrible service for the 5th time in a row. This time, I ordered 2 bags of dog food and waited for them to call me to say they're in. I never received a call for 2 weeks. When I called them, I was told only 1 bag was in and they would call me when the 2nd bag came in. I never received a call for over a week. When I called them, I was told the 2nd bag was in even though no one there had called me. When I went to pick up the 2 bags, I was told the 1st bag was sold to another customer. I will never do business with Glebe Pet Hospital again. I called Pretoria Pet Hospital afterwards and found out their bags of dog food are cheaper than Glebe, so that's where I'll be taking my business from now on.
I have been taking my family's cats and dogs to the Glebe Pet Hospital for about 15 years now, and have always gotten excellent service. When I was a kid they were kind and comforting to me about my pets getting spayed, and as an adult they have been nothing but professional and compassionate, no matter the situation. Whether it's a simple check in, or the end of a pets' life, the vets here always explained everything clearly and are always kind and professional. They also offer a student discount and prices better than many other vets in the city. They have been able to book same day appointments when I had emergencies. I recommend this Pet Hospital to all of my friends.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY, TIME, NOR RODENTS' QoL. They don't specialize in exotic animals like rodents and have sadly not prescribed a strong enough dose for our rats' illnesses compared to other reputable Facebook groups with vet techs. Edit: dropped to 1-star. The Vet got mad I challenged him when he tried diagnosing my rat with mycoplasma 3 times in a row when we know that rats have this but there's clearly something more wrong. Plus, are other rat has a huge abscess and he simply stated nothing we can do apart from surgery with anesthesia which will most likely (70% chance) kill our rat. PLEASE LOOK AT REVIEWS 2 STARS OR LOWER. I don't know how this place has 4-stars.
Fantastic rabbit vet! I took my elderly rabbit to Glebe 2 weeks ago for an emergency visit and could not have asked for better service. We had a bad experience at a previous vet, but the staff at Glebe were understanding that our rabbit needed a very gentle approach. Unlike other places where we were told to have our rabbit undergo an extensive list of expensive and invasive procedures, the vet at Glebe simply did a thorough physical exam and determined that she had arthritis. With the pain meds prescribed, our bunny is looking and feeling healthier! I am so grateful for their expertise and kindness during that stressful time.
Dr. Fattah and his team are incredible!! They work with the rescue I adopted my two boys from. Both needed tail amputations due to some cruel person sicking their dog on the cat colony. The team was quick to help and provided the highest level of care - even as my fiesty, feral boy (literally) fought tooth and claw to escape. They caught a health concern that could quickly turn fatal and provided fast treatment that immediately helped our sweet little boy feel better. The staff were happy to answer my plethora of questions and concerns and reassured me throughout his healing process. I absolutely recommend Glebe Pet Hospital!
Both the vet and the vet assistants were compassionate and knowledgeable! I took my kitty here after getting misdiagnosed with allergies by the Vanier animal hospital. They quickly found the root of the problem and showed me how to treat my cat’s URI and ear infection. The vet explained to me that URI’s are quite common in rescues and that I should be able to treat it with no problem. He listened to my questions and explained things to me patiently. I had a good experience and was glad to find out that they had a 10% student discount. I will definitely be bringing my kitty back if she ever needs veterinary care in the future!
I went in for an emergency on my dog but unfortunately they diagnosed a mammal tumor and say she would need an operation because she would die soon. I went to a different vet for a second opinion as the surgery was high risk for my 13 years old dog. The second vet told me she was healthy and the « tumor » was most likely just a little infection that past with antibiotics. She never had a tumor in the first place. I would have putted my dog at risk for something she didn’t have. He barely touched her and was able to confirm that she was dying. This was an awful experience for us!!! Get second option before doing anything!!!
Don't bother leaving a review if you get poor service here-- it's actually their policy to retaliate for such. I dropped my dog off for his scheduled surgery this morning, but then got a call that because I left them a less than positive review weeks ago (for terrible service) they will no longer do the scheduled surgery & I now have to leave work early to pick him up. Not only will they not try to do better, they'll actually pull such childish and unprofessional stunts like this.. At least they did so before the surgery, because I can't imagine people who behave like this can actually be trusted with something so serious.
We took our pet here several times with each trip being fairly decent. The last trip however was very unpleasant and we will not be bringing our pet back. The appointment went as planned and our pet was well taken care of. The issue was when we noticed the price for the appointment was not what was quoted, we called to inquire what the difference was. The customer service was AWFUL, they told us that the price was always subject to change (which is fair), but it was a surprise that it changed by several hundred of dollars. The manner in which the representative explained to us the changes was not professional.
There's a lot of reviews on this place and I want to add mine because I think it's a good small vet clinic with reasonable prices. The Dr. Fattah is a nice man and showed nothing but patience for my 100lb mastiff who is not a fan of vet exams. With the help of a nurse we were able to quickly get all the needed vaccines in my dog. The nurses were both very kind and understanding of my dogs fear aggression and allowed us to keep him in a room to avoid him getting more anxious than he already was at the vet. All in all I can comfortably say I recommend this vet especially for the low price you get charged.
Sorry to hear some people have been unhappy with the clinic. Dr. Fattah has been working there solo because of the shortage of vets and the great rush to get pets during the pandemic. I have been taking my dogs and cats there for a long time and found the clinic does not up-sell as others do and Dr. Fattah will make cost-saving suggestions. The care my dogs received has always been excellent. They are not an emergency clinic but regular appointments have always been a great experience. Many people are not prepared for the expense of caring for animals so think about it before you get one.
Unprofessional, the receptionist and vet both man handled my cat, were incredibly rude about the health situation. Poor communication skills and accusatory as if I want my pet to be in pain. I brought my cat in for a rash that has been persistent for a few months and have been trying countless things to remedy. I had a 15 minute encounter with the vet and receptionist who simply told me to get more cream, which I said did not work and then told me to keep my cat in a cone which I have been doing. Will not be taking my pet back here and recommend you avoid this unprofessional environment.
The staff were courteous, quick, and professional with my dogs. Getting the medication I required and being able to pay quickly on the spot without delay was convenient. I felt my dogs were well-checked by the veterinarian. Overall, I am happy with the service and I'll continue using this clinic for future needs for my dogs. My only recommendation would be to update that decor and modernize the place to some degree. I found the ventilation wasn't great, as some odours were quite strong when walking through the hallway to weigh my dogs. Other than that, everything was great!
Worst experience ever If you love your pet never take him there They only care about money and they wont even admit your pet if its an emergency even if you are their client. They dont even know the meaning of kindness. I had to pay twice for microchipping my pet. First time they took our money and told us they will send us the serial number and they didn't. So we went back and inquired , they said he was never been microchipped and we have to do it again. They were even responding like we were lying even though its their fault and we had to do do it again .
I have brought my cat and my dog here for years. They are always friendly, reasonably priced and are a no fuss no muss type of place. I used to bring my cat to Pretoria Pet hospital, but after being overcharged time and again, and after an insane vet bill which could have been avoided after an injury to my cat, I switched and have never looked back. Glebe Pet Hospital makes a true effort to keep costs down and I would rather have that, along with friendly staff, then a super fancy place that charges exorbitant prices but has nice furniture, any day.
I find the staff quite rude, competitive, and talk behind each other's backs. The vets don't really care, it's more like a revolving door. For example, when one of my dogs had her checkup, the vet said "she has a hernia, make an appointment to get it fixed" and that was the end of the check up an conversation! I also got conned into spending $600 on medication that my dogs didn't really need. It was too late though as they were ordered. I was never advised in advance of the cost nor was I given an opportunity to think about it.
I brought my cats and foster cat to this place since 2005. This is the veterinary hospital of my choice. The doctor is kind, compassionate; the charges are transparent and we'll broken down so one can see what he/she is paying for. They also explain the procedure needed, the purpose of the procedure and the cost before performing any. This give pet owner the choice on the timing. I sincerely pray for health and happiness of all the staff and doctor of this hospital, I also pray for the continuous success of this place!
Had an honestly horrific experience about 2 months ago. Came in for a suspected hotspot on my dog and the vet didn't ask any questions or examine my dog in any meaningful way before opting to shave half of my dogs shoulder and neck and gave me a steroidal cream which did not solve the issue. Left me with a bad taste in my mouth as it was apparent that there was no compassion or care for my pet. I will never be coming to this vet clinic again and will be recommending against it to all of my friends with pets.
Very inconsiderate of the animals they bring in - there is a reason there are always open appointments. the vet barely examines the animal to begin with and expects you to fork over a ridiculous fee after. High prices for low quality service, no thoroughness, care, or respect for the animals nor their worried owners from the vets here. Front desk staff is very nice, but the rest of this establishment is extremely poor. Highly recommend going elsewhere (where the vets actually care) for the sake of your pets.
Had our cat neutered and vaccinated here. First interaction was shaky because the employee hated her job, messed up our appointment times and seemed very unethused about booking future appointments. When I called back apparently she quit, the vet is nice and quick...he does his job but not very descriptive could be because of covid ans curb side drop off. Either way all in all good turn out for our Jupiter. Just don't go here if you want a lovely connection with your vet lol they are busy
This is a great veterinary clinic! I was able to get a rare same-day appointment, I couldn't thank the technicians and Dr. Fattah enough. My cat had a sinus infection, and they were compassionate, VERY knowledgeable, and beyond caring. My cat is awaiting a biopsy result from another clinic, and Dr. Fattah told me, a first time client, to call him with the results, so he can proceed. I would recommend this clinic to anyone, but don't go so that I can get an appointment!
First appointment was fine however became super unorganized and unprofessional. Staff talked about other clients at the reception, in a non-professional manner. Staff kept losing my dog's history/background, requesting updates (that were also done at their own clinic?). Lastly, the annual exam done by the doctor probably lasted 2 seconds and involved no physical exam. When we'd ask the doctor questions, we always felt rushed and as if he didn't care to be there.
I wouldn't say I loved the experience I had to buy putting my beautiful cat down But They made the experience as bearable as they could they consoled me and my partner as we were loosing a member of our family I will recommend everyone to take your animal to this place because they have compassion amd they truly care about your animal and you and they are well priced and good hearted people Thank you again if you read this review for all you did for us
So far, the experience at this vet has been excellent. I like that the vet is straight to the point. We tried VCA and noticed they recommended many procedures; here, I felt that the vet only suggested what was needed. When I was there, the vet techs were also friendly and seemed knowledgeable. They did their best to hold my cat for her blood tests. Thank you for your service and fair prices. You are helping pet owners like me and we appreciate you.
No-nonsense, reliable local vet clinic. I've been here on multiple occasions with both my cat and dog. Let's just say that neither of my pets are comfortable being in the clinic, but the staff and vets here are comforting and kind. Their availability is flexible, and they are up front about the business aspects of the vet-patient-pet owner relationship: the vet is frank about the expense of services and offers reasonable options before proceeding.
My initial experience with this place was good, I got a few vaccines done for my cat and they treated his ear mites issue. The price was higher than most places but they seemed friendly. Fast forward to today. I called to get my male cat of 7 months neutered and asked for a quote. They wanted well over 500 plus tax. Complete ripoff, call around and you'll find many places closer to 200. Beware of the prices here and always do your research.
I was originally going to enroll my kitten at Pretoria but was unable to due to the pandemic. Instead I I chose to come here and have been very pleased with the service, cleanliness and responsiveness of this hospital. I have decided to no longer enroll my kitten at Pretoria and keep her here. This hospital is very accomodating, provides student discounts and easily accessible by public transit. I highly recommend this vet
I cannot thank the staff enough at Glebe Pet Hospital for all that they have done. They saved my dogs life when I was a nursing student and couldn't afford a lot- they had a quick diagnosis which decreased the amount of tests (and the price) and I have been forever grateful. My dog is still alive (turning 15 this year!) and I also own other animals who have all seen the lovely team at Glebe Pet Hospital. I HIGHLY recommend :)
Great place! When I called to say my cat was unwell they saw him the same day, with no waiting time. Dr. Fattah looked at him quickly and immediately knew exactly what was wrong. He's completely direct, matter-of-fact, and doesn't try to sell you on expensive, unnecessary treatments or products. They even tested his stool sample right then in under 10 mins. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Finally found the right vet!
Didn't ask for the dog's history. Gave inaccurate information about the nature of the dog's injury. Told us he'd never get his sight back in the injured eye. Blamed us for the dog getting hurt because of the type of collar we use (halti) . Shamed us for asking about the cost of different treatment options. Refused to answer our follow up questions. We got a second opinion from a different vet . Dog is completely fine.
Very kind and caring staff and Vet. Did absolutely everything for our little kitten who had a growth in her throat. It was very sad when we had to put her down but I trusted the Doctors prognosis very much. This clinic is not in it for the money, no bells and whistles here. Just straight up care and charges as is. Highly recommend as they will do what is right for your pet. Thank you Glebe Pet Hospital.
It has good prices but I wouldn’t recommend going there. The staff tend to be rude, wouldn’t even make eye contact and they would barely explain the procedures. Took my cat there, the vet was in and out in 3 minutes, almost without saying a thing. I had to keep asking questions to know if everything was alright and what to do next. It’s not a terrible place but definitely not coming back ever again.
My friends recommended the Glebe Pet Hospital to me because they’ve been coming here for years. I brought my kitten for a vaccine for the first time last month and the staff were friendly and very fast. Their schedule is pretty open so it wasn’t difficult to make an appointment. When my kitten was sick the following week they were responsive and helpful over the phone
I went here a few months ago to get my cats eyes looked at because she was showing symptoms of an upper respiratory infection. The vet barely examined her and said she was fine. My cat kept getting sicker until I had to take her to emergency where they said she had the infection (all along). This could have been avoided by doing a proper examination. Pretty disappointed.
The girls at the desk are lovely. However, I brought my dog in with severe anxiety and we were left in the room awaiting the doctor for 30 minutes past our appointment time, my dog freaking out the whole time at which point we left and asked for our files so we could find a new vet who can make their appointment times or at least check in and communicate their lateness.
I'm very happy with the covid-safe procedures they have implemented for the lockdown. I dropped off my cats outside with a masked vet assistant and got them back in 15 minutes while I waited in my car nearby. The vet assistant brought out my babies, the bill, and a pay machine, and I was able to wrap up super fast. 5 star service, folks!!! Thanks so much!
My dog got worms from another puppy and was quite sick. They took us in the next day and what I thought was going to be very expensive was extremely reasonable. We now moved to Hunt Club area and we still go here for any check ups/concerns we have with our dog. I trust them and I will not go anywhere else. 100% Recommended.
I had a great experience here, brought my two cats in for a checkup and both received thorough examinations. My one cat's digestive issues were properly diagnosed and the correct treatment was prescribed. Dr. Fatah even waved the cost of the two stool analyses, which would have cost fifty dollars. Very happy with my visit.
Beautiful reception when I brought my cat. Dr. Fattah is a gentle soul who truly helped and saved my cat, and he has been well ever since. I have since referred my family to him, and everyone reiterated to me exactly what I am saying here. If you want genuine care for your pet, then Dr. Fattah will meet that expectation.
This is one of the only well priced vets within the city limits. My dog had an eye infection and most places said $100 + just to see the vet, not including the meds needed. Their consultation fee was only $75 ($85 with tax). Total was $116 which was about what most places wanted just for the consultation. Thanks so much!
I love going there. Dr Hussein, owner of hospital, is very knowledgeable and never fails me with my kitty. Though the hospital is currently understaffed, yet they still maintain the same level of service. They are amazingly professional. They also can help on ordering veterinary products that are not available at store
Good veterinary services and modest bills. The vets here seems to take on easy approach on life, so do not expect them to sugarcoat things or say thing just for your feelings sake. I haven't had any real complications with my dogs, but the ones I've had have been properly managed, and my dogs have always gotten better.
My cat stays here every time I leave town for work. They have very friendly staff, and they take great care of your pets. They used to be my vet as well, but I had to switch over to Altavista because his health required 24 hour care for a while. Their vets are friendly, and they do not overcharge for their service.
Dr. Fattah and his entire team are absolutely top notch. Calm, patient, and eminently understanding of pet owners’ concerns. We always leave the clinic with peace of mind, confident that our dog has gotten the absolute best care possible. The priority here revolves around the pets and it shows.
Great staff and a good environment for animals. They also have a few "office pets" which is super fun as my wife has a cat and I'm a dog person so Everytime I go here I get a little bit of dog time. The Veterinarians are all super nice and explain things in a way that you can understand easily.
Been taking my pet to Glebe Pet Hospital for 13 years. Dr. Fattah is Wonderful, he is very personable, polite, and understands people. Very good at his job and ensures everyone is happy. The staff are very helpful from booking appointments to ordering specific food the car needs. Thank you!
Excellent service and good value! I discovered a tick on my dog while I was in central Ottawa and called Glebe Pet Hospital for assistance. They fit me in immediately and I was very pleased with my modest bill. Fast, efficient and reasonably priced! Thank-you Dr. Abdelhady and staff!
Excellent care...decent prices. Went in cause my vet is booked out 3 months in advance and emerge pricing was outrageous. Dr. Fatah was able to squeeze me in and he was very diligent. The staff were great and they were busy so multitasking in this job is a must. Great job everyone
Great service, always fast and efficient. I love that we can get an appointment without a long wait and they are always helpful and offer great level of care to all pets. They were recommended to us by another friend, and we have recommended them to others as well. Great clinic
Glebe Pet Hospital has always been the best animal hospital that I've ever brought my pets to. My dog had to spend almost a weeks time and have surgery after swallowing a tennis ball, and was treated very well. We were kept well informed, and everything worked out for the best.
We absolutely LOVE this vet clinic and Dr. Fatah, very professional, always very accommodating for appointments and emergencies. We have seeing Dr. Fatah for 22 years, first with our cat and now with our two dogs. We would never go anywhere else! Thank you for quality care!
While they were very busy, and slightly rushed at the start, once it got down to properly explaining what they were doing and needed done they took the tine and made sure i understood. For both my and my cats first time to a vet, a very great experience. Thank you.
Great experience! Our dog has never had better care. Dr was great, listened to what we had to say, our concerns, explained things without making you feel dumb for your questions. I was never prompted to buy their marchandise, which has not been the case elsewhere.
Our dog was having some stomach issues and when we called they gave us an appointment right away. The vet assistants were so friendly and amazing with our pooch and the vet took his time and made sure the pooch was good to go when we left. Two thumbs up
This clinic puts the well being of the animals and of the pet parents first. They showed us so much kindness when we had to put our dog to sleep. Even though they are extra busy they always make room for your animal if they need assistance quickly.
We have been dealing with Dr Fattah for 24 years now. He took great care of our 2 budgies and is currently taking care of our miniature poodle Ginger. He has always been very kind and available to us when we've needed him. A great Veterinarian!!!
Amazing place. We use to live down the street from Glebe Pet Hospital but moved out near Hunt Club. We still continue to go here because it is easy to get an appointment and the cost is VERY reasonable. They truly care about your pets well being.
This vet was extremely passive aggressive and seemed like he was irritated by my existence. He barely looked at my cat and said my cat was fine then made me pay 600. He got extremely sick a week later and I believe is on the verge of dying.
Very disappointed with the GPH. A few weeks ago I tried to book an appointment for a sick puppy needing immediate attention. I was told the best they was a three day wait. A month later I returned with a the same puppy after he was severely
Great experience taking my cat there. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Vet was straight to the point, quick appointment while covering all my questions. The bill at the end was less than I would have expected which is also a plus.
We didn't have a bad experience, but it wasn't really that great, either. The place was a little dirty (even for a vet), and we weren't really greeted by anyone initially. The vet was okay, but seemed rushed and not very warm to the
Wow! What a wonderful vet! He was kind and professional and we felt NO pressure at all. We brought in our old rottie and he was wonderful with her. Thanks again and we will definitely be back with her and our cat.
I had a great experience on my first visit and the vaccination for my Kitty and Luna. Both Dr. Fattah and the staff are more than good at what they doing. I would definitely recommend! Thank you for your service!
Amazing vet at a low cost compared to others, they took care of my baby Dakota, put down my precious Minnesota and now have examined a new cat that was surrendered to me. Always amazing service and very warming.
I am very pleased with the services we receive for our two dogs. They are very caring and knowledgeable. Both of my dogs have always hated going to a veterinarian but the staff are always able to calm them down.
The doctor and technicians are all so caring and gave our cat the best treatment after a bladder/kidney scare. If he had to be sick, Iwas always glad that he was being looked after by this team.
Amazing experience! Such a fantastic vet, very professional, and even made suggestions to save me as much money as possible. Definitely would recommend this vet to anyone looking for one!
Awesome pet hospital!! Everyone is hardworking, dedicated, passionate, loving, and caring. We feel very much in great hands when we bring our pets here. I highly recommend!
Smart vet. Good workers. Clean environment. The cat that lives in the office has three legs. He was a rescue. Sells high quality food and treats also. The vet has a cat.
I had about 12 rescued cats and kittens dealt with I'm the last 10 months or so....microchips, vaccinations and neutering. They were great! Me, running a little thin...
Terrible experince here. Sub-par service and a total cash grab. I recommend visiting the honest, empathetic folks at the Vanier Animal Hospital instead.
