I just visited the store with my mother to adjust her watch. When quoted a price of £6 my mother asked for it to be £5 (who doesn't try to haggle) He abruptly put the watch down and said the store was closed. It was 4.30 and the closing time was 4.45 Instead of showing a little decency and repeating the cost of £6 he was incredibly rude. Such a shame given the fact that we have been customers in the 20 years we have lived in the area and always support local, independent shops. This unacceptable way of behaving really damages Roman Road's reputation, especially at a time when so many independent shops are closing down. Such a shame!

I’ve grown up with this shop my mum brought so much over the years there but I put down a deposit on a bangle for my daughter before the lockdown happened and once the shop opened up again after the lockdown, I called them asking in regards to still having my bangle and they said I lost my deposit I was surprised as I thought they would have said yes please come and get it but when I queried this the girl was like there is nothing they can do. So I will not go back there. It’s really gone down hill years ago it was a lot better and staff were middle aged not 18/20 year old unhelpful children

My daughter bought me a beautiful mum ring with stones in 2 stones fell out within a few weeks They told her to send it back which she did only for them to comment that it was badly scratched and covered in pink stuff .as I am 70 years old and retired and don't come in to contact with any thing pink this baffled us anyway they said they would replace the stones this time but not anymore ...when the ring was returned my daughter had to pay £2,50to get the ring back from the post office as they said the stamps on the package were fakes

Brilliant service from the older gentlemen Kevin, had a ring custom made and bought a gold chain. Great product at a great price. Also the repair man is very friendly and funny. The younger man junior or some called him gary seemed like cheerful bloke. I would definitely go to this family run buisness again. I would recommend coming here for a price before going anywhere else

Beware: Terrible service and attitude. I called in to ask for the direction. They yelled at me that I was being difficult to understand and hung up on me. When I called back, I found out that they blocked my number. If you are being racist or bad attitude to the customer who tries to find the way to their shop, they should not be in the business of retail.

The jeweler here is the best in the WORLD. I have bought jewellery all over the world and I would never go anywhere else. Not only that, he has the BEST repair man in the WORLD!! There is nothing he cannot fix and even a simple polish will leave your jewellery sparkling like new!!!

Great Customer Service as well as, brilliant quality jewellery. I love my gold I bought from them and even got my diamond ring polished and one of the stones set. With everything altogether for a good price!!! I would definitely recommend and go back.
