We ordered Golden Thai from Uber. We have fond this many times but tonight the food was really bad. Peanut sauce was runny like water. The chunks of meat in the massamam curry were gigantic and full of fat. Green curry sauce was Sandy looking and not up to scratch as it had been a few months ago. I called the shop and the girl that answered didn’t understand. Tomorrow I’ll call during the day and ask the manager what happened !!! New Cook ?? New owner ?? Who knows but no one should let food out of ther kitchen this bad. Time to find another Thai restaurant to order from. Actually it is not a restaurant but probably a kitchen the supplies food for Uber and other carriers. Why use big chunks of very fatty meat and serve to poor customers who are expecting normal Thai takeaway. Shame on the cooks !!! No respect …

What can I say about a change in management at our local Thai restaurant? It's not a total lost cause but it's not what I want to repeat. We ordered Red duck curry (reheated meat) too much fruit sweeteners like strawberries and blueberries....why? A grape or two or lychees would be good but don't over do it. The atmosphere is unwelcoming and makes you feel this is takeaway only.. Please set the tables and have cutlery and plates available to patrons. The papaya salad didn't really gel. The flavours weren't convincing, and it was chewy and not enjoyable. The best parts were what you would hope for. Good jasmine rice and tasty but meagre portions of roti. I hope you survive, but you're gonna have to improve in Melbourne if you want to....

This used to be our local Thai. But the food tasted horrible. We got our usual take away of fried rice, a stir fry and the papaya salad. All 3 dishes had thick pieces of cabbage at the bottom of the container as “filler” I would assume. Fried rice was soggy and chunks of unmixed rice. Stir fry used to have a variety of veggies, but now just carrots and… yep you guessed it, more cabbage. Will not be going back here again. So sad, used to be amazing, assuming they had a change in management….

A wonderful little gem of a place - so lucky to have just around the corner. With authentic Thai flavours and warm, friendly atmosphere it's the kind of family-run restaurant that feels like home away from home. Highly recommend the red duck curry which is rich and delicious, made even better with a generous serving of their fragrant house made coconut rice. The Pad Kee Mow noodles also packed a salty-sweet and spicy punch that will keep us coming back for more. Perfect for quick and comforting meal out mid-week, or a cosy catch up with friends on the weekend. Either way, we'll be back very soon!

After visiting for lunch some weeks back I have been back twice more. Although food is very good I had the most unpleasant experience. On arrival of take away food I asked specifically if the Wonton soup was in the bag, cashier said yes and I asked again because I have been Thailand many many times. Is Wonton soup in bag reply was yes..You understand what I am about to say if you been Thailand..Guess what. No Wonton soup . This is why I went because my Father could only eat the soup because not spicey. Lesson learned.

There's something special about Golden Thai. The customer service, food and atmosphere serve as a factor that keeps you wanting more. Funny enough, it reminds me of the time when I visited Thailand, and was greeted by the locals who were kind enough to invite me into their house. The night fell quick, and the food I had there was seriously similar to the one at Golden Thai. I would like to thank Golden Thai for exacerbating the true Thai spirit in our cohesive community.

Golden Thai has extremely kind and welcoming staff/waiters, Food is delicious, Highly recommend Pineapple fried rice, Thai fried rice, masdam curry, entrees I recommend Roti with satay sauce, and fried wonton. Delicious !

Really enjoyed this place, the pad thai was great. I was a bit let down that the spring rolls were not house-made, and they were the garbage frozen variety that has just been deep fried. They did make the food within the timeframe they quoted, which is always really helpful, shows trained FOH staff. I'd certainly buy from them again, I would just avoid any of the mass manufactured stuff that is on their menu.

Absolutely terrible thai. Not authentic at all I could cook better thai at home and I'm not thai. Over priced for what they had to offer. Veggies in my beef mussamun curry were under cooked and the beef was tough and dry. The beef in the grilled beef salad was not grilled but rather boiled strips of beef tossed in a bland salad lettuce mix with a tasteless dressing. Very disappointed

Wow wow wow that's all the I've got to say about golden Thai it's really in the name the food is absolutely golden. Came here with a hungry little stomach for a long walk , decided to get myself some little satay chicken sticks absolutely delicious the peanut butter sauce brings me back to my time when I was in Thailand, absolutely phenomenal would you recommend.

I absolutely love the freshness of your food. You’ve accommodated my diet request of no capsicum or onion in all meals and the pick up service has been on time without question. My favourite dishes are: mussamun curry, pad med mumuang and pad Thai with chicken. Highly recommended, great staff, great people and so fresh, veggies are crisp and everything is tasty.

Delicious authentic Thai food. Manager is very polite and goes above and beyond. He personally delivered a missing item from our order. Cannot fault this place.

New to the area tonight we tried Golden Thai for the first time. We ordered take away and the wait time was reasonable. The quality and freshness of our dishes was excellent and the flavour was really delicious. Really yummy food and very reasonable prices, we’re really happy to have found such a great local Thai restaurant!

I’m new to the area so thought I would try this place. Very friendly and quick service. Delicious food and reasonably priced. Food was not salty like most take away. The curry puffs were the best I have ever had. The pastry was light and crispy with a tasty filling. I am definitely going back for more!!

Nice food, good value and friendly service. The cashew beef stir fry was fantastic, fresh veg, tender beef and great flavours. Also ordered green curry, seafood tom yum soup, satay beef skewers and banana fritter. Soup was okay, but everything else was delicious, highly recommend you give it a shot.

Waited 40 Minutes for the order to even be acknowledged on MenuLog. Eventually got a text notification telling me that the order wasn't able to be processed. If it's unable to be processed why wait that long to notify me? Already left a sour taste in my mouth, Don't recommend.

My favorite Thai restaurant . I highly recommend the spring rolls (best I've ever had), and the Tom Jued ("Dom Jued") pork soup. Very healthy and light but with so much flavour. So good that I get it at least once a week. Seems to be family run and the people are friendly.

Worst experience Ive ever had. ETA 40 minutes, still waiting 2 hrs later. Staff on phone have no answers for us other than 'deivery left 30 minutes ago'. 1. 50 min after the time it was suppose to arrive. 2. How long does it take to get 6

Tasted very basic Prices have gone up 25% as of just recently. Ordered a Pad Tom Yam. For the $17 price it lacked vegetables and meat. Won't be going back or recommending it to others

Delicious food served in a few minutes. Great service. Strongly recommended for all foodies. The sauces in all the noodles were sublime. The service prompt n the decor gave it a great feel.

Really fast good thai, never had a bad meal, not too spicy as mostly old people out this way. They can ramp up the spicy to authentic levels upon request. Service is awesome, lovely family.
