Golden Thai is located on the main floor inside Holland Cross complex in the food court section. Their service is quick. I liked all of my meals so far, however I only tried the following: spring roll, wonton soup, noodle soup with vegetables, crispy beef and general Tao's chicken. Great portion, fast service, good price. I tried their general Taos chicken, and while the above was all great, and the texture of the chicken was great, the sauce had a weird flavour to it I couldn't quite put my finger on. It wasn't overpowering, but it was definitely something I was not used to.

The food got quite poor when ownership changed, but it's improving gradually so still worth going once in a while. The one cook left from the old management, if you're lucky enough to get him, is still fine. They seem to want to improve things and mistakes/poor food is becoming less common.

For the price, location and speed this is absolutely the best bang for your buck. They are extremely fast and they give you heaping portions. The flavor is good too. Not the best I've eaten but if you're in the area it's a pretty good deal.

I frequently eat Veg Fried Rice. But I feel somehow, the quality is going downhill. Today I found pieces of fish/meat (not sure) in my rice. I called them to let them know, but they didn't seem to understand what I was complaining about!!!

Fast food Thai. Convenient fresh food served quickly and not very pricey. Not bad however I was warned away from spicy by the staff so I asked for medium spicy and the food was somewhat bland which was a bit disappointing.

They are fast, efficient, and offer great food for a very reasonable price! I had the pad thai and I have to say it was probably the most authentic dish I've had in all of Ottawa. And a very large portion too!

Didn’t expect much with the food in the mall but was pleasantly surprised with how delicious the food was. Perhaps I was very hungry but in any case I really enjoyed the meal. More

Tried the chicken pad thai. Asked for spicy and it wasn't spicy. Overpriced and didn't meet expectations. The sauce was insanely sweet, it was like eating noodles covered in syrup.

Shrimp red curry is gluten free and delicious. Plenty of good sized shrimp, sauce leans a bit sweet but portion size and food quality is great. Great prices for what you get! More

"Pad Thai" was ghastly, it's not Pad Thai at all, terribly sweet sauce that tastes nothing like Pad Thai, the noodles were soggy and overcooked which made it suck even more. More

Working in Tunney’s Pasture, Golden Thai has become the go to place for lunch. The service is always quick and friendly. The portion size is decent.

Great service. Large portions. More on the sweeter side for most dishes, so I just ask for extra spicy

Only had the Pad Thai but it's one of my favorites in Ottawa.
