Use a different post office if you can! Sent a parcel from this post office and it came back to my house as they inputted the wrong postcode. Went back to rectify this and they took my original receipts and stapled them in a bundle along with the barcode and the postage which they cut off the parcel, meaning I had to wrap it in tape for them to send again. The lady said she had to do this to show them the postmaster on Monday. They then stuck the new postage over the company’s label covering the barcode. Once again, despite the right postcode being inputted, Royal Mail has returned the parcel to me instead of sending it to the right place. I called the post office and the lady said to ring Royal Mail and give them the receipt details. As they took the receipt I can’t and when I challenged her on this she hung up on me. Having spoken to Royal Mail they said the parcel has been returned twice because the sender address is to the left of the To/destination address meaning their machines will always send it back to me, as they read left to right. They say this means the issue lies with the Post Office and their staff who should a) know this and b) flag it to the customer. Given how hostile they were by phone and the fact they took all my paperwork I’ll write off the cost of sending as a life lesson - do not use this post office under any circumstances. Overall they provide terrible service, they’ll take your money and any paperwork you need to complain if they make an error.

Dreadful !! Profit mongers . Went there three times with return mail that had pre paid 2nd class postage so only wanted to pay the difference to track/sign for but in each occasion they opt to completely ignore you and charge for next day recorded guaranteed delivery before 1pm , the most expensive mail service . I left it go the first time as a mistake , the second cos I was in a rush the third time as I didn’t realise until I left the post office . If he tries it next time there will be repercussions . Very unethical service and they do this as it’s small cramped and it may be embarrassing to say in hearing distance of everyone that you didn’t want the premium service you wanted the cheaper service. Trust me that won’t stop me , I don’t get embarrassed , he will get it in lock stock and barrel . Cheeky , I will be reporting them too . The audacity is unbelievable.

Horrible Horrible Horrible post office. Every single time I go to ship something its WAY more than any other post office would charge. They are just trying to make you buy the most expensive serve even though that isn't what you ask for. It comes to pay and I have to dispute the price only to find out they've added bits I didn't ask for. My partner wanted to send one parcel under 4 grams tracked and was charged £7.65 for 'special delivery". When i rang them up to ask how thats even possible- they said it was signed for even though my partner explicitly said it doesn't need to be signed for. Absolute jokes. I have no option but to go there because its the only one on this side of town thats on my way to work. But Im gonna have to literally show them the price on the post office website to clarify which one I want apparently.

First time ive used and won't use again!! There was a very big queue when I got there my fault arriving at 4pm, I only wanted one second class stamp for a Christmas card. Must have been 15+ people queuing behind me by the time I got to the front. A woman came in with a big box just as I got to the front, told don't queue because you could clearly see he knew her. Am so glad the woman let me go as could clearly see I only wanted 1 stamp as had been waiting for over an hour. Could clearly see the disgust on people's faces allowing her to be served. before them. Guy behind the counter was just so slow no urgency at all. Looking at other people's comments can see they aren't happy with the service either, so am sure they are losing alot of business due to the bad service.

Been three times now to return an item to Amazon, probably takes like 2 seconds too, it’s either closed or ‘come back at 2:45, I am going on my break,’ it shouldn’t be this hard to return an item! Every time I’ve had to come back with a large item, just to be turned away due to low staff available. How about you have someone who can cover breaks or UPDATE your times so we don’t have to come back when we are all busy and barely have time off work to get things done. Very unhappy, he had a smile on his face too and said ‘ooh what can I doo, I’m going on my break sorry’ all he has to do is scan a QR code from me

I had to go and pick up a parcel yesterday but didn't have a card because Parcel Force didn't actually attempt a delivery and just dumped it at the closest post office to the depot (not even closest to me). I only knew it was there because the online tracker said so. I expected a hassle getting the package without the card but luckily the staff behind the counter had common sense and accepted my photo ID with no fuss. I've seen some post offices where it doesn't matter how much proof someone has taken in they flat out refuse to hand it over without the card.

As i seen other reviews, people are honestly posting reviews, i m a regular customer here in post office, The old Indian man is really very very rude, his behaviour to customers is really disrespectful and I also been treated same as Kaitlin Harris, he straightaway said to me "I am not serving for 20-30 mints, I should stay waiting or I can go elsewhere" and then for cash deposit he is counting money 5 times, His behaviour does not match with standards of UK Customer services, if he is in that place in future, I never will go there

Always huge queues outside for this post office, you normally have to wait for about half an hour. I tried to come late at night once to dodge them, walked in the pissing rain to get there but couldn't get served for 30 minutes because the post office staff member had just gone on a break. How can they only have 1 person working there at a time? Also I've seen them letting people in without masks. So in short, don't come here unless you want to queue in the cold for 30 minutes and catch COVID

I used the post office yo send back a box of shoes I recently purchased. The people at the post office made me spend 23 £ on packaging to than tell me that I had to go to Royal mail in order to send my parcel, while they had the labels detail all the tike on their hands. Extremely unpolite and unfriendly female staff , they could have done a little extra to find out that before. I felt really frustrated and like that tried to get money from me.

Just moved to Manchester, first interaction I have is with an older man that works in the post office. I ask to deposit money into my bank and he rudely said that they’re closing for 5 minutes (gave me no reasoning) and told me to clear off and come back after 5mins or go elsewhere. A colleague of his clearly seen how rude he was being and she apologised as I started walking away…I’m not angry I’m just disappointed

I've used this post office for years and its always been busy and awkward for queues because of its location in an actual express shop. However, lately they constantly try and get you to pay for higher and misquote different prices really cheekily like some others have said. Its not hard to understand what 2nd class recorded is, stop trying to charge me for next day special delivery at over 7 quid you swindlers.

I live in a tent outside the Post Office the staff helped me in every way that they possibly can, charging my phone and give me waist food which is going to go in the bin couldn't be more helpful just a note for everybody that the post office shuts at 8 the shop shuts at 11 the post office is within the shop

Open long hours, even Saturdays and Sundays, very nice and honest Post Office. Also, the shop sells good quality bread and Eco-Friendly products: Loose cereals, pasta, rice and nuts, draught shampoo, soap, washing-up liquid etc and EcoLeaf Recycled toilet paper. I love it !!

Finish work late most days and by the time I get to the post office it’s shut at 8, 4th time it’s happened when it says 10pm so delays my deliveries and takes time out my evening to get to the store to find out it’s shut early again

Slowest place ever - would help if they opened on time, they are supposed to open at 9 and opening at 9.15, then in the afternoon they’ll tell you to come back in 45 minutes because the staff need a break

I use this store regularly and whatever I need is always there no matter how unusual. Huge range of stock to suit all diets and fully on trend. Love it …
