March 20, 2022 I had a very bad experience with the salon at 6001 Argyle Forest Drive Ste 20, Jacksonville, FL 32244.on March 20, 2022. I called to ask the price for a haircut and the lady answered with an attitude. Then I went in there a while later and the same lady attended me, again like she hates her job or whatever. I waited, but she wasn't cutting hair, just one other lady. I asked her name and was told it was Gigi. She went to the back room of the salon and didn't come out, even though another customer came in, waited at the counter, then she sat down, tired of waiting. Gigi needs to be replaced. The last time I was in there I had a great experience, but it was a different lady. I finally left, disgusted. Not going back there again! Update (March 25, 2022): I contacted Customer Service this past Monday about my issue and was told the owner would get in contact with me. It's Friday and I still haven't received a response. I don't think the owner cares! I think I'll just go to Super Cuts from now on. Another update (March 25, 2022): I just received the same copy and paste response that everyone else on here is getting about contacting Customer Service.

I usually never leave reviews but I work over at Olive Garden and walked over to Great Clips to get a haircut around 3:15 to 3:20.. There was a sign that said “will return @3:30” so I checked in online a little before that and stood outside the store for a long period of time and I wasn’t the only one.. The others left but I continued to wait because Prestige Barbers is closed on Sundays. A lady with Dreads walked back inside around 4:10 just to clear the waiting list on the computer screen and she yelled at me through the window saying that they were closed when they were supposed to be open until 5. Today is Sunday May 7th, maybe that’ll help you find out who the rude individual was that was working the shift.

Each and every time I go to a great clips very nice people very nice I met a young woman for the first time that was rude to me and Youngerman Circle I went in to get my haircut she asked me what did I want and I asked her if if Nikki was still there and she said know why and I said because I would like you to cut my hair then I realized I need to go to another great clips and got my hair done the lady was wonderful every woman that I ran into that affect my hair at Great Clips have been very respectful did a great job except for that one but I'm not going to count out great clips for not being great because they do a great job and their economic or prices so I give them fivestars

I took my daughter for hair cut. They didn't clarify pricing. The stylist didn't wash my daughter's hair. My daughter called me to ask if she could get a blowout so I agreed not realizing her hair wasn't clean. $46 later my daughter has acceptable cut but still grody blown out hair which had to be washed later. What a waste of $31 for a blowdry. I called Stephanie, the manager, she said the pricing is clearly marked and she was sorry for any confusion but that was how they do business...unless you ask for a shampoo (which they charge extra for) you don't get one. We won't be back !

Our family stopped by to get our son a hair cut on 3/14. While waiting the stylist and a customer were having a very loud conversation about how they disagree with pronouns and how they corrected children by beating them “back in their day.” It was pretty offensive considering the family nature of this business. We ended up leaving after their continued conversation. While you are entitled to your opinion (in this case a very uneducated opinion), some things should not be blast out for other customers to have to listen to. We will not be returning to this location.

I tried the great clips in argyle Vllage shopping center on 11/17/21 for a trim haircur....Nikki was very unfriendly, over wetted my hair and trimmed it. I asked her if she can blow dry it, she said no i would have to pay $16,00 more...She was not customer friendly, perhaps that explains why the shop was empty....She did not deserve a tip.. attitude problem. I am never going back to that shop again..Ive used great clips before, never been treated that way....She has a bad attitude..I would fire her...

Do not go to this Great Clips, there have to be better ones nearby. I should have known better when the shop was nearly dead when I went in, but I'm new to area so went ahead and got a trim anyway. The stylist was talking to someone on a Bluetooth headset the entire time, and yanked on my hair with the comb. When she used the clippers to trim up the back she actually snagged my hair, she apologized, but ouch. After I got home I found a chunk of uneven hair that I had to even out myself.

I went in to have the split ends of my hair cut off. The stylist, Dennis, kept "hitting on me" as he cut my hair. He even asked me for my phone number at the register. I refused to give it to him, and he still gave his name and phone number to me, writing this information on one of the business' cards. I didn't appreciate this type of behavior towards me. This was not professional behavior at all. Thank you.

Great experience here with Danielle! She took her time to match my haircut with exactly what I wanted, and did even better than I expected! I am so beyond satisfied with the results and I will definitely go back to her everytime! She has gained a customer for life! And I was nervous to go here in the beginning and she made me feel so comfortable! Thank you Danielle!!!!!

Stopped by for a haircut.....it had been about 6 months. The one employee promptly greeted me and put me in the system. I was second in line (random Monday). She finished up with the person before me and started on my mess...there was a lot of hair. She was very through, did a great job and was enjoyable to talk to. I'll be back in a month or so.

Made an appointment online at 1:30pm and when I got to the shop it was closed, but the sign was on but all the lights were off. Tried to call but no answer. This location was to be open till 5pm. I have went to Great clips for years you all are about to loose alot of business. If I could would give a negative star. So disappointed.

Very unprofessional, I recommend you’ll please spend your money and cut your hair somewhere else because they don’t know what they doing. They will miss up your hair bad. Me and my wife came to cut our hair, they missed my wife hair big time. She was very up set. NOT WORTH IT DO GO THERE!!!.

The location at Argyle states on the web AND its door that it is open on Sundays yet I've gone a few times now during the times it states it is open and the location is close with NO sign on the door. It can't be that difficult to update the hours online or at least post a sign on the door.

My hair stylist spent 10 min on the sides and maybe 90 seconds max on top. Didn't wet hair, super uneven. Some spots on top were finger length, other spots were 2x finger length. Might switch to somewhere else after 5 years with Great Clips due to inconsistency from haircut to haircut.

Colorful hair plus size lady showed very low quality hair cut skills, doesn’t know how to do a neckline, doesnt know how to do a tape up without making it look bald or in general bad, overall just a bad hair stylist. Would not recommend going to this one for your kids.

I arrived at the argyle great clips after closing and the stylist, Toni, opened the door for me. I was pleasantly surprised. To I had cut my hair before and she did a great job. I will continue to do business with this salon as long as Toni is working here.

I had a positive experience with the lady that cut my hair (I’m sorry, I forgot her name). She took her time and was very detailed with the cuts. Getting an appointment was easier than the Collins location. Definitely recommend.

Lazy workers, my 9 year old daughter came in with a knot in her hair and the lady said she cant cut her hair because of it and walked off, so I saved over 30 bucks because they didnt want to comb her hair and then cut it.

The website says it’s open and I even made an appointment but when I showed up the doors were locked and lights were off. This has happened 4 separate times when trying to come here. Never coming to this place again!
