I was looking for some ingredients to make a recipe I found on YouTube, Garlic Ginger Noodles... I had been to so many Asian supermarkets, H Mart and others and someone in H Mart told me to try here, sweetest old lady, she helped me look up and down the aisles at H Mart to find a kind of noodle that was flat and ribbony and a thicker soy sauce from the video I showed her, she couldn't find it but she pointed me to Great Wall, she was more helpful and nicer than anyone who worked in H Mart that's for sure... that reminds me, gotta go review H Mart... but I digress, back to Great Wall, they had a similar noodle to what I was lookin for and they had the soy sauce from the video so I was happy. There was a guy in the aisles doing inventory, he had a netbook or something in his hand, he was the only person I saw and I asked if he worked there, he said "What do you need? I showed him the video and he scurried away saying "come, come" so I followed him and he lead me to the noodles, he said what else? I showed him the soy sauce and he called over one of the workers and asked him, and the worker looked at the video and he scurried off saying "come come" and then I had both my missing items for the dish, the guy with the laptop doing inventory even took the time to explain to me how to use the noodles and the soy sauce, telling me how rich the sauce was and that I only need a little bit. he was cute making sure I didn't mess up my dish, very helpful. Great Wall was a great experience... I've been going to H Mart exclusively for my Asian ingredients but that's changed... Great Wall has joined the chat. I recommend this place.

This market is mediocre. They do carry variety of popular South American cheese, spice and salsa; they also carry very specific Asian products such as extra firm Tofu and Kimchi alike; common Western cuisine ingredients namely heavy cream, buttermilk and Chantilly cream are available as well. They offer good deals in meat department and fruits, eggs very often. The generally concern for you should be the sanitation issue. The store is never seen being neat at any given time. The policy at entrance clearly says that no pets are allowed in the supermarket (there's a specific statute states that pets are not allowed in any place has food service) yet they hardly enforce that policy: you can find there's a dog entering the supermarket every week.

I lived one block away from it for 7 years, on 35th avenue. O shopped there all the time. It is mostly a authentic Asian store, with mostly authentic Asian goods. However it offers many products that everyone uses. They offer fresh (live) fish, and cut up as well. I guarantee it beats every frozen fish no matter which store you buy it from. There produce is fresh, but a bit overpriced for my taste. They have a parking lot, which especually in that area, is a huge plus to offer. In all I had no complaints, as I said, for 7 years.

It was my favorite place in flushing for a while, until today there was an employee: middle age, mostly bald, in a green vest who was organizing banana yelling in my back to “get out of his way”. I was shock about he can treat a customer like this rude. And meanwhile another employee at the meat counter on the left position, he was throwing the mean to me, and his attitude was like I shouldn’t take his time to help me at all.

it was burned down a few months ago。it reopened recently。it definitely has a very aggressive / competitive price. it has lots of groceries to choose from. Furthermore, it has a parking lot! Flushing main street supermarkets might have slightly better prices, but there is no parking! This store has a very convenient location : northern blvd and parson ave.

Interesting place that has variety of food available. Some might find certain fruits and fishes to be odd but they seem to be fresh and constantly being restocked especially during peak times. However the parking lot is small and getting out of the parking lot can be dangerous since you are getting on the northern blvd.

to be the local asian store ... cant ask for anything more. yeah prices are fair +/- , but with these inflation times the price is what kept this places opened for decades for what it seems. so this a very above average review of the place and location. the stuff inside is what you all get in any asian marketplace.

Neighborhood chinese supermarket offering a good selection of vegetables & fruits, as well as meat and seafood. Very busy early evening & on the weekends. Small parking lot. Dress warm as it's cold inside. Bring your own bags or buy them. Contactless payment, Apple pay & Google pay accepted. Masks are optional.

This place is pretty good. It got fresh produces and fruits. Price are decent it's a little more than other Asian supermarket but not the highest one. It has good selections of products. Meat department and fresh seafood. It has some Japanese products but not a lot. It has its own parking lot.

GW Sup. Mar.gives me free parking. It is a one stop shop with fresh fruits and produces including fresh fish and meat, and so much more. I quickly gets in, fill my cart or basket with items and check out. It is fun moving around procuring my items needed. Yeah, it is a great place to shop.

I love the variety of vegetables they have there, and everything is very affordable, but their selection in red meat is horrible! And I also find it very odd that there's no blood in the beef. Maybe it's just me but I thought blood in animals gave the meat flavor? It's weird to see.

Archetypical Flushing Chinese supermarket. Has every product necessary in a Chinese household. Fresh produce, meat and seafood. Fair prices. Parking is not terrible for the high population neighborhood. Only need to get used to gruff employees in every department and every cashier.

  • Darrel3000 - Darrel Ganesh Sukhdeo (Darrel3000)

Its a chinese grocery chain, many standard american products too, like OJ, pepsi, but many many interesting chinese products. Ood quality Meats and fish at affordable prices. Beef ribs are 9 per pound! Lots of vegetables, like 7 varieties of bak choi, my fav green!

  • ricky chang

Had low expectations but was surprisingly very clean even for a weekday after work! Vegetables and fruits looked fresh as well as the meats. Very organized shelves but the registers were pretty slow. They should consider express lines.

  • Andrew Dorschner

Spectacular local grocery, with extensive selection of Asian ingredients. Particularly wonderful seafood selection. Wonderful produce. Extremely difficult to go back to shopping at Stop and Shop or ShopRite in the city after this.

  • E C

Decent prices for some every day items like coconut water, ramen, milk. Sales items weekly, parking is a little scary especially when the lot is packed, don't come during holidays because they inflate prices.

  • Jeff

BEWARE!!!! They are selling expired milk!!!! CASHIERS ARE LAZY. Self service Even if you bought a lot? They don’t care if you get stuck bagging your own groceries. I HOPE BUSINESS BUREAU CLOSE THEM OUT!!!!

  • David Ng

Service is poor. Good standard Chinese supermarket at affordable prices. Check expiration dates as often things may be sold past expiration. Fruits and veggies are a bit or miss. Free Parking is a plus.

  • Davie

This supermarket is just an average Chinese superalmarket. If you shop at Chinese super markets before,, then this is nothing special. Average store with average prices. Not overpriced nor cheap

  • Z. Liang

Great Chinese supermarket, you can find almost any Asian fresh vegetables and snacks over there. The price is slightly higher than the new world supermarket but much cheaper than H mart.

  • janice

Small but upscale for Great Wall supermarket. It was packed and built like a maze, all going one way, but it was the only way to see how varied the goods are in one place.

  • Lion Shi

There is always a strong stench when you cross by it, litter and trash every where. Their products and meats are absolutely disgusting!

  • Ralph Nobell

Great supermarket! American style supermarkets should stop by these Asian style markets and learn how to run a grocery store.

  • Pearl Moore

Great services and great quailty of products with best price and the staff are very nice abd helpful and friendly.

  • Shaki U

Way too overpriced . They want 10 bucks for a box of cereal. I know inflation is high but damn.

  • F Dryer

Came here for lotus root for Chinese stew. This is one of many local Chinese supermarkets.

  • M K

Doesn't have as much variety as Hong Kong super market . But they sell alligator meat.

  • Elizabeth Tomas

  • sophia Huang
