Good and very friendly service, quite new car (i30 with less than 10k on the clock, and good specs like adaptive cruise control for such a small car), and very competitive pricing (cheaper than industry employee discount rate from the big brands). Easy collection and drop-off. Note that their damage excess is really high even for small car sizes (A$4500), and also a A$500 deposit is taken when checking out (and promptly returned after dropoff). These directly reflect to the cheaper rental price, and with a proper third-party insurance from your credit card (or similar) this is no issue of course. Rating 4/5 since their automated system never sent me the rental agreement to my email after car pickup (got an email but copy of the agreement was not attached). Thus i had no proof of rental with me. Emailed them but no response during the long weekend. No biggie, but if we wanna be perfect, have to fix this... ;)

My Partner and I were looking to book a car before Christmas to travel to NSW and everything was so damn expensive until we stumbled across Green Motion, who was referred by a friend. First I thought this was a scam site because it didn’t have the .com.au but I thought why not give them a call and see if’s it’s legit! So I gave them a call and the rest was history!. Kirsten and Sam, literally two Legends! They gave us the best rates than any other company could do and made everything so easy for us when I arrived to pick up the car I chose (MG HS). Usually I am picky with my cars but the MG HS was actually fun ,smooth and zippy drive, so don’t hesitate to pick the Hs or Zs. Overall great experience and awesome team! Thank you!

I found Green Motion on a Facebook page and so glad I did. We have a long term vehicle hire with them now for a few months and their rates were super competitive but the ease and convenience of their service is amazing, they are very responsive to emails, keep us up to date and always confirm before taking payments. Kirsten who we deal with is easy to get hold of and responds very quickly and the vehicle is well serviced and maintained. Rented an MG compact car for a week at the end of Aug 2021 in Melbourne, it was incredibly well priced and in excellent condition. In particular, Kirsten was absolutely brilliant to deal with and thanks to her, five stars and a repeat customer (hopefully next time I won't get stranded by border closures lol). Whether handling last minute changes, or additional hire days organised with one phone call, organising it all was so easy thanks to her professionalism, expertise and ability to get things done despite lockdowns at their strictest and all with a happy disposition! Had the loveliest experience renting a vehicle from Green Motion. Shout out to Kirsten, super friendly, super attentive and super helpful. Nothing was missed. She helped me sort out a rental vehicle, gave me all the information I needed, nothing was too small for her to attend to. From reception to return, always kept in touch to see how I was going. Made sure there was no problems. I had to return the car earlier than initially intended, she helped me do all the running around and gave me a very fair refund. Great personal service with friendly helpful staff who go the extra mile for you. I found the location convenient for me, in the hotel at the Pullman Hotel. I live in the SE suburbs so it meant I didn’t have to venture into the CBD or all the way out to Tullamarine. Prices were reasonable, better than nearly all others, and the car was literally brand new. They also do EV. Would recommend without hesitation.

Kristen and the staff are amazing and so helpful. Got the car with brand new MG, but had an issue with the battery(i think it’s caused by the manufacturer). Kristen was so kind and helpful, she even stayed back one hour after her shift had been done to wait for us return the car because of fixing the car’s battery. This is a first rate operation. I normally do not rate rental car businesses but here I feel compelled to do so. I had a difficult experience that was not the fault of the company, or me, and the most professional, thoughtful and kind Kirsten was there to assist me through the process. I wouldn't dream of having a third party collision experience with anyone else.

Two weekends in a row I rented a car here at Green Motion to explore the area around Melbourne. Both Michael and Luke were very accommodating and friendly and the paperwork went through with a pleasant feeling. The cars were always clean and well maintained and compared to other providers the price was reasonable. So far my most pleasant car rental experience!

We booked with Green Motion through the Hilton in Melbourne. We needed the Car for one day on a Saturday. They delivered to the Hilton on Friday and collected on the Monday. No valet charge from Hilton. It was too easy and very cheap. It was personal too as we spoke to the representatives. Totally lived up to all my expectations.

Booked on line, paid in full, prefilled the registration. Went to pick up the car and still needed a card to pay. Would not accept tap, apparently it's in their multiple pages terms and conditions.
