99% sure I reviewed here already and they must have deleted my review so I will leave one again. I came here with my mom about a year ago. She bought hops bread. If i recall correctly, she bought about 4 and there was one hops bread left so the worker gave her the 5th one for free. That was nice of her because it was the end of the day and it probably would've been thrown away anyways. There was also this pineapple bread kind of thing- not sure what it's called, but it was really good. I saw their oreo cake and thought it looked good so my mom ordered one of that for me. They ended up forgetting to put it in the bag and we had to come back for it. Luckily, we had only walked for about minute. We went back in and got it and I didn't eat it until I got home about 10 minutes later. I am not exaggerating when I tell you this was one of the WORST things I ever let touch my tongue. It was SO BAD. It must have been sitting in their fridge for months. Like it still LOOKED great, but it tasted like the fridge mixed with plastic. I don't think I ever knew something could taste so bad until this. The oreo on top just fell apart when I went to throw it out. It was really upsetting because I was looking forward to it. The only reason I don't give here 1-star is because the hops bread and pineapple pastry/bread thing were good and the lady helping us seemed pretty nice. But I would never come back here. The least you guys could do is remove the word, "QUALITY" from your name.

They had a sign in the window I went in there and they looked at me like I was like what I was doing and then why cuz looked 100% better than all you sea haggs that work in that Bakery these are disgusting you don't even wear gloves your hair is all over the place and you look at me like why im applying here you couldnt get better than me lady you all look down at people that ain't your own kind but you know what you should look in the mirror because you're all disgusting and you smell like Curry anybody who wants to work in that place good luck to anybody who wants to work in there because these people think they're better than everybody all racist people they ought to look in the mirror because they so are not better they never been and never will be and I'm sorry I even walked in there and shamed myself those are not my type of people why would I want to work in a place like that don't put a sign up for help and when people come in there you look at them and judge I'm a better cake designer than the one you already have and I realize that I'm too good to be in a place like that so good luck to your bakery cuz it's only a matter of time Its going to go downhill like the rest of them on Liberty Avenue cuz you're not so good thank you very much you made me realize I'm too good for this place and that neighborhood!

On October 15th, I went to the bakery to order a custom cake I saw on their Facebook page. After I asked for the cost on the custom cake, size, # of people and type of cake the woman said it would cost $135.00 When I told her I would like the cake one month from October 15th she said “with so many orders coming in we don’t to lose the order since its longer than a month. Come back 2 weeks or a week before and place the order”. So, I said OKAY and left. On November 8th I went back to place my custom cake order and now same exact cake, nothing has change. Now the cake was priced for $250 so I said OKAY. I really wanted the cake for my dad’s birthday. When I told the woman it has to be eggless, she said “hold on” and went to the back to get a price. The new price for the eggless cake is $275. NO WAY! I asked why the increase in the price? They said because things went up. Yes, things went up but they are just being greedy! Greediness! Whoever the person was in the back in charge of the price. The workers who helped me with my order were very nice. I didn’t order the cake obviously.

The customer service here wasn't great. The cashiers are busy socializing and laughing whilst their customers are waiting. I in particular was waiting behind a horde of Uber delivery drivers who apparently take priority over actual customers. To add insult to injury; despite standing there patiently, it was clear the petulant gigglers, the so called "cashiers" couldn't care less. Once they were done mingling with the delivery drivers and gossiping amongst themselves they decided to finally attend their customers, but instead of me and others who were there first, they decided to attend to customers who'd just walked in. I think the owner of this place should know the cashiers closing 12/31/2022 don't seem very interested in their clientele or the business they're working for. And given the quality and price of this place you're better off getting something at 7/11 which is just a few feet away.. The same sugary desserts, same quality; if not better, and 1/3 the price. Sure 7/11 doesn't have cakes but dealing with the giggling bandits here get your loved ones something else. Your new years resolution should be not to come here. For 2023 give 7/11 your business instead.

I have had the absolute worst experience here than in any other bakery I’ve dealt with. There is no such thing as customer service. I ordered a cake and payed half at the time of ordering. I was supposed to pick up the cake today and pay the rest. I got a call saying that they charged me a wrong price and I have to pay more. The money is not concerning but the fact that they have had all week and call the day of to up charge is highly unethical. They knew I had no other choice the day of so it was convenient to make that call. The guy who called had the nastiest attitude on the phone. Telling me I would not get my money back and to say if I want the cake or not and then hung up the phone on me. When I called back he refused to give me his name on the phone, he said I’m not telling you that, why do you want to know that. Well because when I file an official complaint with the BBB I would know whose name to put down. They are unprofessional and need a change in staff. If a business makes a mistake they own up to it, they do not call the day off to shake customers down for more money and have an attitude with them when they express concern.

I would like to say that the bakers are amazing they have given me very well tasting and good looking cakes however the girls who serve and cash really need some help in customer services. I called because when I go in store I to send them the picture of the cake in order for them to make it and give me a price… I ask the girl if I can have the bakers raj number because I had it before but lost it so that he can let me know if he can make my cake. They said he’s not in and they don’t know when he will be back in. So I asked for another baker and they said they cannot give out numbers. Then I told them I had the bakers number before and then another woman comes on the phone and goes oh I’ll give you my number and I’ll respond when I have time so I said okay thinking she will respond later in the night… however she didn’t ended up respond a day later after I had to double text. You shud have just stated you don’t want customers by the time she responded another bakery already took care of me in a better manner.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this bakery. I ordered a vanilla Oreo cake for my daughter's sweet 16, but when we cut into it, we found that it was filled with custard instead. When I brought this to the attention of the manager, she called me a liar and accused me of a different cake. Not only was her behavior unprofessional, but she also had the audacity to tell me I had balls. This was a deeply disrespectful and unacceptable way for a manager to treat a customer. Furthermore, the manager did not apologize for her behavior or for the issue with the cake. I have had many cakes from this bakery in the past, including my wedding cake, but this experience has left me extremely disappointed and I will not be returning. The lack of professionalism and disrespect shown to me by the manager is unacceptable, and I urge the owner to take appropriate action. It is important for businesses to value their customers and treat them with respect, and this bakery failed to do so in my experience.

This store ruined my birthday. I had a cake I ordered a few days ago they said no problem they’d have it ready. I come today and I get told nobody baked my cake and that a employee messed up with the placement of the receipt. I am understandably disappointed and they offer to make it immediately. I say ok and come back in a few hours. As I come back again my cake is nowhere in sight. I give my receipt to a employee who gets my cake out, goes to assist another customer and puts my cake back into the fridge. Then I have to wait 30-45min while they deal with other customers, completely ignoring me. Then when my husband comes and starts getting angry at them they take another 5-10 min to give me my cake. I am very angered by this and the cake was made with haste and didn’t taste good. I’m not trying to shut down this business I’m just warning you in hopes you’ll go somewhere else and not deal with this headache on a important day. Would not recommend it was a waste of money and ruined my birthday.

First time writing a review but I must say the customer service I received was unacceptable. I called to place and custom order for a cake over the phone I was told that they do not accept orders over the phone, even though 2 weeks prior my family and I placed and order over the phone. I was told maybe I wasn’t clear enough about what I needed done and I must call them back and ask to place an order for a customized birthday cake. When I asked the representative hung the phone up on me. I then called back and asked to speak to a manager. I was told they had no manager at the location. This is unacceptable. There is a way for people to speak to customers and if the policy has changed then customers should be properly notified not being hung up on.

I usually get my cakes from here. The cakes taste pretty good and they’re cute. My friend decided to bring me a cake from here since she was coming over it tasted good but I don’t know if they hired a new person, but they wrote my name so bad I didn’t even want to take a picture…. It looks like they wrote my name with a tooth pick. & I felt bad because I know my friend visioned in her head it would be super cute and to post online as well. I always get things written on my cake they do a good job. I don’t know what happened this day though. Very strange and unprofessional

Terrible!! Traveling back to CT from JFK made a special trip to bakery to pick up black & white cookies, and a few big cookies. I rave to friends and family about those treats my Dad would buy for us on Sundays at Oxford bakery, and I wanted to share some goodies with my family. Since Oxford closed I ventured to Greenwood. What a disappointment. Everything was hard, stale, and old. I threw everything out. Those cookies (hockey pucks) should have been tossed long ago!! Never again. I was at the bakery Tues morning, 10/10

Not really a cake lover but soon as I bought a cheesecake slice and It was so amazing the cheesecake was so rich and what give it the best flavor was that hint of vanilla The staff is friendly and helpful. Lots baked goods. Clean with good atmosphere They have started providing a few lunch items. Which I also tried a grilled chicken sandwich which everything was fresh from the bread that is bake daily The staff is friendly and helpful. Very clean to was so impressed with everything Will be coming back to very soon.

I ordered cake & cupcakes from here, everything came out beautifully just like the pictures, but the cake artist was running late!!!! Thankfully, I ordered hours ahead of time also both times I went in people jumped in front of me, talked over me, made orders in the middle of my conversation, so thinking that was normal, I came & waited to speak at the counter but got yelled at & told there was a line & wouldn’t talk to me about my cake less than a hour before my event started

I needed a good birthday cake fast to bring home for my twin boys birthday. I was glad I found this bakery close to where I was working. They had sooo many cakes ready to go! The staff were all nice and they quickly and neatly wrote my boys names on the cake. I almost forgot to mention,the cake was delicious. The frosting was light and airy and not to sweet. The cake was soft and moist. I will be back in January for another birthday cake and a little treat for myself.

greenwood QUALITY bakery? on what planet? the previous reviews are absolutely right. 9/10 times the pastries are stale. the employees’ attitudes are equally as stale. i recall buying their cake cups a few times (not to be confused with cupcakes) and the cream cheese filling was rancid. the cupcakes are hard and dry across all flavors. the cake slices taste like they’ve been out too long. get it together before you call yourself a “quality” bakery.

They make, arguably, the best Flan! Their cheesecake is delicious too. Great prices and Friendly staff. They're on UberEats as well for those who aren't close.

I decided to buy my birthday cake from here because I bought one prior. I will not be buying from here again. There seem to be a confusion with price. I was told the price of two cakes each was $35. Then after the woman box the cake I was told $40. I asked if there was tax because you said the cake is $35. She hussled me. Not again.

Cake tasted really good, so many strawberries, it was sweet and delicious. However, size of cake was smaller than expected which is why I removed one star. Someone said this feeds 12-15 people but that is not true at all. It feeds about 7 people max but the slices have to be small. Overall great, I would order again from here.

I order for my son birthday cake I order 10” pipping cake vanilla flavored and 1st they didn’t give me 10” inch cake for sure and not the same came I show them when I order and it’s cost $80 they must joking never buying form them anymore so disappointed

Ordered online, got a call that ONE item out of several was unavailable. Told them that was fine, and didn’t want a replacement. Got a call two minutes later from the delivery app saying the ENTIRE order was cancelled! That’s ridiculous.

The store itself was not sanitary and the staff was unhelpful. I had ordered a $35.00 7 inch round red velvet cake and I got a small red velvet cupcake instead. I had to get a refund on my order and now I don't have a birthday cake.

The cookies are amazing and the entire bakery crew is on board. The chicken cutlets are underrated and their coffee is Queens’ finest. Highly recommend to anyone with a sweet tooth.
