"Amazing doctors, nurses, and staff"
"I went to the urgent care centre and I was pleasantly surprised"
"II went to see Dr"
"The emergency room was not a organized experience"
"Beyond disappointing the way, the nurses treat people, the amount of time you’re stuck waiting while your child’s coughing or puking their brains out is uncalled for what’s the point in being a Canadian if we can’t even obtain the healthcare that’s provided"
Amazing doctors, nurses, and staff. I’ve been to Hotel Deau many times for work, and in person everyone has been incredibly nice. The operator I talked to however is the most entitled, snarky b*itch I’ve ever talked to, and it’s not even close. Ridiculous attitude from the get go… not willing to help in any capacity. GOOD LUCK.
I went to the urgent care centre and I was pleasantly surprised. There were a good amount of people ahead of me but I got treated in a reasonable time (rare in Canadian hospitals). Their system is fairly efficient and the staff were friendly. I was hesitant to come here but I recommend it over another walk in clinic.
II went to see Dr. Franklin and was amazing with the treatment I received. From the nurse to the doctor I was so relax and treated as a human. I had to mention to them how I felt that day because I have never been so relax in a clinic as the ENT. I want to express my gratitude. Thank you Dr. and Nurse!
The emergency room was not a organized experience. The security staff was left to organize us and they were not prepared. No number system to determine who was next. The care was excellent, but the disorganization to get us in to see someone will stick out in my mind.
Beyond disappointing the way, the nurses treat people, the amount of time you’re stuck waiting while your child’s coughing or puking their brains out is uncalled for what’s the point in being a Canadian if we can’t even obtain the healthcare that’s provided.
Ignorant attitude of some emergency staff (nurses and Dr. Kyla Caners) downplaying your pain as not urgent and telling you to see your family physician (wait weeks or month for appointment), no imaging diagnosis, told to follow-up with your
Shout out to Mike Hendry. Great guy. Problem isn't him. Staff maybe. It's just discouraging when you get a call saying come an hour early and you still end up waiting for an hour after your original appointment time. They need to get on top
Have been here many times and found the care to be excellent. But telling people to park on the ramp on Brock Street, walk in, and call to have patient delivered to the door DOES NOT WORK!! Rarely is there a place (of the 2 pathetic spots)
Complete waste of time. Came in with neck pain, concerned if it was broken at all, wasn’t seen for hours until the point I walked out without being seen. Bet ya i can tell you what all the nurses are doing this weekend and what they get in
One of the nurses took blood, gave me medicine, and an IV all through the same tube. Not to mention she had no care in taking it out, literally YANKED it out of me. This was about 7 days ago and my pinky is STILL asleep and my whole arm is
Called to see about a family member in the hospital and before I even finished my sentence the women that answered the phone was already transferring me to the next operator.. Worst case scenario considering they bounced me around for half
Today my almost 1 year old had to have a ultrasound which I was certainly not looking forward to being as I found the last 2 to be rather traumatic for me personally. The young lady who did the ultrasound today was fantastic. So easy going
Horrible place, don’t waste your time. I’ve been multiple times the last 8 years in Kingston and not one positive experience with CHILDREN. unless you are bleeding out or dying there will be no help. They push Tylenol and “juice” which can
Staff are excellent. A very clean environment. I've been dealing with eye clinic over a year. Dr Gonder and his team make every visit pleasant and enjoyable. They are courteous and supportive. Ive seen Dr Bona two times as well and what an
My experiences at this hospital have always been excellent whether at emergency or appointments. The staff are so friendly and patient …. I went for a Cat Scan October 4th 2023 in the evening and the technicians I had were excellent and so
I had a specialist appointment for diabetes this week that I was on a waiting list for 6 months for. When I got there, I was put into a room for an hour before anyone came in to see me, and even then it was only a student doctor. He asked
Obviously (as with any profession) your experience will rely on the staff working but I find urgent care is great more than it isn’t. I am the type of person that would feel silly going to a hospital even if both of my legs were broken. I
I had issues with this clinic before, and was not a fan. It was the closest open clinic to my house the day I needed it, so I thought I’d give it another try. I went in with some heart issues I’d been suffering with for a few days. After
I've gone here for much of my life. For the standard of care in this country it seems pretty fair. But we do live in the greatest country in the world. I've gone here recently for 2 procedures and they went well enough. Although I had a
it’s the best you can get i guess but if there was a hospital better than this one i wouldn’t even bother with this one. i had a HORRIBLE experience with one of the doctors there for childrens mental health and after i left all i could
Does not know how to prioritize care. Went in with a head injury and was bumped behind people who came in after me last I checked head injuries are up there on the urgency level so not sure why they felt they didn't need to see me in a
Lack of care and compassion from the doctors in Urgent Care is astounding, they dismiss anything and everything and try and send you back out the door instantly. Wait times are 3-5 Hours and then they don't even want to see you. Don't
Despite all of the challenges of running a hospital during a global pandemic, the staff are always so kind and patient. I want to send a special thank you to the cardiology department (echo lab) - they always go above and beyond for a
Nurses are friendly, however they are VERY short staffed. Went in because I am having pain while breathing and I didnt get looked at for almost 3 hours, and didn't get out until almost 6 hours later. In the end i was told to take more
What an amazing staff. Kind, caring and compassionate; they genuinely seem to care for the numerous patients as well as each other. I was so impressed by their willingness to ensure my ( and all patients) comfort, and saw nothing but
Come on hotel Dieu Hospital, surely you can create a better system for triaging. About 13 people waiting in the triage room, no one knows who is next or jumping the line. Simply get a number system which will help and make it more
My experience is that it's very clean the people who work there are very kind very knowledgeable and are ready to help you as soon as they can. You feel well taken care of. I would recommend to go here to all the people I know.
I had surgery at Hotel Dieu March 23 and spent 3 nights on Johnson ward. All the doctors, nurses and PCAs I had were fantastic. I could not have asked for better staff during my stay. Thank you to everyone of you.
Absolutely the best hospital. Surgery team lead by Dr. Was amazingly supportive. Transfer tram to hotel diru spectacular. Hotel dieu team fabullous. Very clean; kind, responsive staff. Food is delicous Campbell
Admitted to KGH Emergency Dec 31, by ambulance after breaking my femur. Surgery Jan 1. At KGH. Moved to Hotel Dieu Jan 2. Can’t say enough about the care I received on Johnson 3. From food services,
4.5 bit of a long wait but I understand they are short staffed, also probably felt longer due to my situation That being said the nurses and doctor I had when I was in urgent care recently
On a Saturday at 2pm I drove myself to emerg from Seeleys Bay. I was turned away as they reached their quoto 5 min before... turns out I had an appendix about to burst... could have died.
Dr. Naknamura, Dr Keon and the support staff at Jeanne Mance 5 are spectacular! All were super friendly and helpful...literally the best hospital experience I've ever had
We are fortunate enough to be patients of a number of the clinics of this hospital. We originally came here after ongoing problems with an ophthalmologist’s clinic
i was dying and one of the hospital workers noticed me and got me in the emergency room because i was passing out and turns out im a type 1 diabetic
Annoyed with not knowing if he wad ok... Because nobody that he was out of surgery and just he was wanting to wake up ..he wanting to sleep more..
Got treated like a leper cause I had covid. Nobody asked Me if I needed pain meds, water. But everyone else was getting the 5 star treatment .
I thought people were to wear masks. I had my mask on. Only a few had masks on. They will be the ones who will end up with covid.
Treatment for my strep throat had me out in under an hour -- so much quicker than the health care system back in Toronto!
I recently had day surgery at Hotel Dieu and I have never had such a pleasant hospital experience.
