4 stars? Maybe if: -the air conditioning worked -there was a bathmat so you didn’t slip and fall after a shower -tissue paper -hand towels -Face towels -anything more than just two shower towels. -tea for the tea kettle -bathrobe, as shown in the photos -there is a stove, but you should bring your own pots, pans, and utensils We booked the room Airbnb 2 months in advance. The room was supposed to come with at least the normal things you’d find in a hotel room, but the reception made us feel like we shouldn’t be there and repeatedly asked us how much we paid. Is this the first time someone has booked this hotel via Airbnb? Why couldn’t they find the reservation, even after showing two confirmation #s. And even so, we showed the confirmation via the app, the “contact host” phone number was the hotel number, but still they made us feel unwelcome and almost criminal. It seems like they punished us for some reason and put us in a hot room with no absolutely no amenities and no ocean view. When I looked online, the price of the room was comparable to what we paid, so what’s the deal? Then they said they’d charge us 2000MAD until they verified that our reservation was legit, which is fine, but give us what we paid for! And don’t make us ask for a bath mat (huge safety hazard on all tile floors. We also noticed footprints from the previous guest on the floor, so they don’t mop and possibly make it a standard practice not to provide bath mats. We were really looking forward to staying here after 1 month of traveling different cities in Morocco. This was supposed to wrap up a wonderful trip with two nice relaxing nights, but this experience was completely soured. We had to request everything that should already be in the room and of course tip the two staff that came to the room and inventoried all the stuff that was missing. I don’t know if it is standard protocol to request hand towels and tissue paper, but if so, that certainly doesn’t deserve 4 stars. 2.5-3 at best. The only thing good about the room is it seems to be sound proof, or nobody else’s is in the hotel. Which is even more frustrating because they could have given us a better room.

I wish I could give a zero stars. Our flight (December 13th from JFK to CASABLANCA) from the U.S to Morocco was for 6h30 mins long. Due to our long Layover of 13h30 mins, it’s the airline policy to put us in a hotel. Right from landing off of the plane, there was not enough direction on where to really go. We had to suffer before realizing we had to go to passport control instead of following the sign that says connection flight smh! I found myself on a domestic flight tsa area, they sent me back again from where we landed, and then another person told me to go to passport control. Again, from there, we didn’t know we had to exit the terminal as if were getting outside of the airport and then go up one more flight above to be on a lane for someone to pack us Into group and then go outside the airport to go catch a bus that will keep on going in circle 3 times to pick up more people. This hotel is 1 hour away from the airport which is an inconvenience! From 8:55 AM that we landed, we didn’t make it to the airport until 12:05pm and we had to wait for 30 mins up be assigned a room ! My room on the 8th floor didn’t have any lights in the bathroom. Food was not great! This whole travelling with a long layover thinking that we would be at the hotel inside the airport like it used to be in 2011, was a mistake! This will be my 2nd trip with Royal air Maroc since 2011, and it will be the last one on 2023! Overall, this hotel is too far way. They failed us to check in right away, negligent workers, they didn’t give us our breakfast, I call for a service to come fix my light in the bathroom, they failed! The hotel smells! All their soap and body lotion are scented which is not good for me since I am allergic to perfume/fragrance… Hotel sheet (below) are torn.:

Pathetic place. Terrible manners and service front desk staff with attitude compounded with ignorance.
Shower water oscillated from hot to cold. Called them to fix worked for 5 minutes and back to oscillation. Problem never got fixed.
Curtains in room were torn and thus could not shut them. Fortunately room was facing west and so didn't get bright light first thing in the morning. Complained. Curtains never got fixed.
Staff recommended a change of room when one comes available. They interrupted me from an important meeting to say I need to change room immediately as they had to prepare for other guests. So why couldn't they fix the curtains while I had the room??
Breakfast: staff too busy chatting amongst themselves and paying more attention to their phones rather than customers. You have to chase them for everything.
Unhygienic. Staff were eating while serving and cooking. Picked foods with hands.
Staff didn't seem trained for what they call a "4 star" hotel. I'd call it a zero star place to sleep.
Dont expect much from this and it connected 5 star hotel.
Room didn't have telephone numbers for housekeeping, reception ( dialing 0 doesn't work), room service etc. Took me over an hour to find the numbers. Ordered some food items didn't get what I ordered. Was past midnight and I wanted to sleep now.
I highly recommend staying away from this chain of hotels.
Be prepared to pay for your stay in advance. Pay for room service when delivered. Also expect manager to respond with the same comments. See all responses from manager... cookie cutter responses. That is just lip service Get ready to pay for your stay and

One time when we checked in, we waited about 2 hours or maybe longer just to gets rooms, even though they knew our goup was coming. The airport sent us to this hotel for a one day layover. There were a few minor issues in the room but we accepted it and that day was ok. The bed was very comfortable and hot water and pressure good. The second time, we checked in with less time waiting. Maybe 20 minutes. The room and bed is comfortable and temperature was good. Although, we did not get a hot water kettle this time and there were no towels. We asked for towels after alrrady being there half a day. We waited and went to sleep. We asked 3 or 4 more times in the morning, within 5 hours. The lady kept telling us yes yes i know your room number, you will get it. Then..nothing. Room service was horrible. One man from the front desk was helpful and brought us a kettle. But other than that, we had to basically use hand or face towels after showering. The towels never came, even close to check out. I wouldn't stay at this hotel if I had a choice. Unfortunately even though the rooms were acceptable, I don't feel respected and prioritized as a customer. I went downstairs, and one staff member was wiping the windows. Cleanliness is good yes, but don't you think the priority would be to serve your customers before doing small tasks? It's unacceptable to request basic needs like towels, about 5 or 6 time in total over the course of our 24 hours stay, and literally never be accommodated.

I stayed in this hotel the last week of november 2017. Location is a little far from everything. A car is a must to come and go for the slightest thing. Eveninv can be boring to stay in. In the 18th floor my room had a view on the city and the costal road to mohamedia. Tbe reception was fine. I didnot expect a preauthorisation to be asked although I was paying the nights in advance. Probably they know the breakdast was more than expensive rated at 180 dh (double the real value at similar service) The room had a special odor at the entry and i had to open the windows. My collegue had already changed twice his room for that reason. The room were clean and the bed well prepared. The toiletries were fine, could add few things for the rate charged. I could also smell the cigarette of the room next door !? The AC system probably? Managment must verify. Hot water was going on and off during shower fault in the pump. The breakfast had more than one taste in it. I loved the servicing staff they were extremly nice. The lobby was small but nicely decorated. I received several interviews in it, And went very nice with no problems. My visitors were very confortable and very nicely served. Overall cleanliness is great. A pest controle company was effectively doing a good job.

We stayed there because of a missed flight. The room seemed decommissioned. 2 sets of towels and a broken bath tub. It was like taking a shower straight in the middle of the bathroom, the water was everywhere! I needed medical attention, nobody even bothered answering the phone. No guest services, no front desk. The food was limited in quantity, and looked like hospital food. They didn't have a way/number to communicate with the airport shuttle, which never showed up. The cherry on top: the front desk tried to scam us by calling 2 taxis instead of one and all of them tried to make us believe that it was illegal for 5 people to ride in one taxi. We had to find our own taxi. We were there for one short night on a holiday. A hotel has to accommodate their guests, holidays or not, especially when medical attention is needed.

Looks nicer than it is. This hotel looks amazing, it's clean and comfortable, the breakfast was very good, however the downsides outweighed the plus sides of my visit. 1. When I got there my bathroom door wouldn't close. I informed the reception, but nothing was done about it. Eventually i fixed it myself. 2. The AC didn't work, again no help was provided, so i had to sleep with the window open, and it's quite loud day and night outside. Luckily i was visiting in Feb so it wasn't that warm. 3. The reception staff are fluent in English, the cleaning people not so much. That's not unusual, but when things were being lost in translation, there was no effort by anyone to make it clear they didn't understand. It took hours and several phone calls to get someone to iron a T-shirt. At no point did anyone ring the room and say "our staff don't understand exactly what you want". I even used google translate but that didn't help. It's a shame because with a few small improvements this hotel could be absolutely 5 star. The facilities were excellent, but the experience was difficult.

I didn't appreciate at all the service of employees, they don't respect their guests. Here below my story: Due to some weather issues my flight has been cancelled, so the airport administration took me and other people having the same flight as I have to stay in this hotel. Hotel employees took copies of our passports and started calling us one by one. First of all they didn't respect the sequence of people provided their passports first to be the first ones taking their rooms, and I was chocked when I understood they prioritise foreigners than Moroccan people. When a lady claimed they said simply "we didn't open the door for you came and you entered". and one guy was saying he has been working for more than 2 months without stop, he's taking medication because of that, he resigned but hotel administration didn't accept it... Finally I took my room after 3 hours. Really disappointing to see kind issues in my beloved country

The worst experience I'ever had in a 4 star hotel _ Very bad service since the check-in "unprofessional " _ always late to arrange the room _ elevator stucks some times _ the door of the room was blocked tow times the scond time I was Wating in the lobby for 1 hour and half to fix it, with my son crying, when they finally opend the door and we got in and closed the door and the technicien left, I wanted to put "don't disturbe" sign at the door and I got chocked because it's locked again I called the reception almost 20 times wthout any answer and I called all the services and no one answerd I'm still stuck in the room with my wife and son while I'm writng this review Very disappointing choice. If I got out safe I would Never ever come back here and I recommand you too to make a better choice. Hope this was helping

I stayed 3 days in this hotel and my experience was great. The hotel staff, manager and the gentleman Ramzy was very attentive and helpful. The service was also great. I felt safe here as a solo traveler I felt at home. My room was very clean and I was happy. It is a great location to the airport and the city. I highly recommend the hotel thank you for your help and I will be coming back here

MEDIOCRE AND HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE I was in there in early morning 10/23/2023 . I ended up in this hotel because my flight was rescheduled i arrived with a reservation and i was surprised when the unprofessional receptionist said the hotel is full. There is no problem mistakes happens but the worse part when i was looking for help to contact the airport to find a different location to host me the guy was rude and un polite. Due to my business i do travel a lot around Europe and Africa but such a mediocre service i ve never faced in my entire life. To people running this place train your crew to give a better service to your clients.

The hotel is nice, the room is neat and spacious the service at the reception was pretty decent, unfortunately the breakfast was mediocre. You need to form your waiters because they are very unprofessional. Let me explain, we got there around 9 am but no waiters in sight, only the stewardess who even served us coffee, three waiters came out of the kitchen simultaneously around 9.30 am, and i understood that they were probably having breakfast together. They all came out talking outloud and I quickly realized that there was no supervisor on sight and what's more mind boggling is that they all concentrated on one single table, for whatever reason, rather than check all the tables. Very unfortunate for this hotel ..........

We waited in line for more than 5 minutes when we checked in. Someone cut in line and wanted to check in first. The reception lady named “M…” just picked this person’s passport and then wanted to help her check in first. I was annoyed and said we were first. Then M lady showed an unfriendly facial expression and then picked our passports. When we went to the room and wanted to call for room service. The number on the notice was 2075 but no one picked up. Then we went downstairs for information. This M lady stared us and then answered very impatiently. Then she said you should call 2074. My friend and I felt very bad for this kind of situation and made us feel bad about Casablanca…

I wish I could give it zero stars. It was a wrong choice, we should never have stayed there. I traveled with a group and thus I think they took us as their lowest priority. There was no dinner for us- as in very little choice of food, nearly zero options for vegetarian, everything had either chicken or fish in it, no water in the room, no towels, and no cooperation from the hotel at all. It was a horrible experience. The hotel staff just didn't listen. I'm sorry I had such a terrible experience in Casablanca, one of the leading holiday destinations in the world. Please avoid if you don't want to spoil your vacation.

In our rooms there were no shower towels when we arrived, only one glass, the A/C did not work at all and the water temperature in the shower varied quite a bit making showering a bad experience. The key card stopped working after the first night and staff entered our room without knocking on the first day. I asked the front desk for towels and one hour later they brought only one. Next day asked the front desk for a glass, they said they would send one up right away, but it never came. They gave us breakfast instructions but when we woke up for breakfast, we were informed that our booking didnt include it. The room was modern and large but that’s it.

They charged the rooms upon arrival. When they gave me the invoice upon check out I noticed they overcharged for one of the rooms. I pointed this out and they said they could adjust the invoice but won't refund the amount. As I tried to explain why the invoice has to match the credit card charge the receptionist kept rudely interrupting me. After I repeatedly asked him to let me finish, he finally listened and after I said it was a company credit card and business trip he all of a sudden was polite again, but still said they won't refund the overcharged amount.

The lunch and dinner were a joke, basically nothing to eat except the left overs from breakfast. Royal Air Morocco put about 50 of us to stay because of 15 hours layover. The hotel in the heart of Casablanca and it was easy to visit the city but they cheated us on the lunch and dinner parts.

Hotel Grand Mogador is one of the most beautiful hotels in Casablanca. Just recently open it is very classy, and service there is extremely careful, attentive and respectful. From the beginning the experience was mesmerizing with tea and pastry since first second we were so well received we didn't want to leave. Breakfast was spectacular!!! Rooms were very elegant with a bit of luxury, however the sympathy and care from all the people working there was really the best thing they did to make me comeback in any important occasion I may have to be back in Casablanca for business.

Stayed for 6 nights and all hell broke loose the last night! Left room at 10:00am and returned 4:00pm after a day of site seeing. Room not cleaned and could not get maid service for 45 Minutes. Had to go to the front desk twice. Why would you screw up a review on the last day? Internet was sometimes down and slow Service at the front desk was weak, not helpful or friendly. The general location is fine, just the neighborhood is run down.

Very Clean and comfortable, excellent bed. Missing coffee and tee self service in the room. Very poor Wi-fi and internet connection with very Low surfing speed. And far out from the city center. Not too bad breakfast, but have the same menu Everyday. With The poor wifi speed which is essential for communication , I will probably stay somewhere else next time.

This hotel is amazing. The room and lobby are beautiful and clean and check in was available few hours early. The staff are so helpful, Khawla, Manal, Ahmed, and Mustafa were so incredibly helpful and they can assist you with calling a cab, directions, general information and are always smiling. The price is great as well, this is a must stay hotel.

Classic city hotel, clean and comfortable room. All Casablanca hotels expensive, like here. We entrance night this hotel. We dont like night work staff. But next day work staff no problem. We was ask some questions night: how hotel to airport transfer, bus or train. He said: just taxi. But next day we learn have train. We did not like it.

Service and room was ok. But never ask hotel bell boy to call taxi for you! Really important! I asked them help me call the taxi, they said day tour (use around 6 hours) taxi was 130DH, but after we used the taxi around 1 hour, the driver said is 130EUR. Than I feel so sad, I paid 80EUR for just used taxi 1 hour!

No internet for both days I was there and when I would call them they would respond as if it was my fault that there was no internet. They also did not clean my room. I had to call no joke 5 times to get a new towel. Every time I would call they would be rude and respond as if the fault was mine …

Very lucturius room, problems in the small details: water flash too slowly on toilets and sinks. Had to flash 4 times.. Same happend on urinator on the ground floor. Housekeeper left us roses on the bed, rose leafs decorated the towels, Sweet!

Tired old hotel out in the apparent middle of nowhere. Plenty of tourist buses parked nearby but I doubt the guests were at this place. The buffets for dinner and breakfast were average. Taxis are needed to get anywhere, ours charged 80 D to get to the medina market. The return journey cost 20D.

Worst Hotel. They didn't give me bill. When I was checking out, they said they would send bills via email as they were technical issue. And I didn't receive it. Even after emailing them so many times. Don't stay here. It is just the worst. I stayed between 22 October till 27 October.

Very nice newly built hotel with good potentials. I guess it will rank among best if not the best in Casablanca. Big and clean rooms, and very welcoming staff (especially Mrs. Lamia: a manager). Tasty and multiple choice food. I stronly recommand for all kind of travellers.

An hotel has roos and all the rest the rooms were renovated they should get 5 stars. All the rest 2 . The carpets we're dirty, the food was horrible, not enough food and terrible service in the restaurant. The service in the reception was much better and accommodating.

The reception was very bad. I ordered food and. I wanted USD CHANGE HE DIDNT GIVE HE WAS MAD AND RUDE I IDIDNT LIKE IT THE ROOM WAS NOT CLEAN NO NAPKINS NO SOAP FOR HAND WASH NO TOWELS IN THE WASH ROOOM SO U CANT TAKE A SHOWER IN A 4 star hotel that’s very bad !!!

A classic business hotel. U do not have anything on walking distance. So u will need a car if you would stay for leisure purposes. There were free parking which added one more star to my evaluation.

Huge and beautiful rooms with views to the port. Beds are top notch. Service is like a five-star hotel. I recommend taking the breakfast option, it is not cheap but you won't regret it.

Excellent service for restaurant suggestion or taxis, prompt response, good location, near breakfast cafes. Wish they repaired the safe box, which didn't work. Terrific views.
